Ranthari Hotel and Spa Ukulhas Maldives

I rarely write reviews but Ranthari is worth it. 1) far enough away from the mosque that there were no 5am calls to prayer disturbances 2) Staff beyond helpful. Like beyond good. Free laundry. I've not had that in 5* hotels. It's not 4* - nothing in the Maldives local islands is but it's clean, working, great. I'm staying there again and I rarely do that with hotels. Dive with Murakaby divers if you can.

Razual (Manager) and staff were all so lovely! They really could not do enough for you! I had the pleasure of being upgraded to a family room with ocean view and it was amazing to wake up in bed to the views of the ocean! Thank you! Food from the restaurant was always cooked fresh, extremely well priced and very tasty! Collected at port and returned to port - staff even stayed to wave me off - such a wonderful gesture I could have cried! Directly on beachfront with own sun loungers and seating area. Everything was just wonderful!

Rooftop pool area could do with some maintenance, but who really needs the pool when I had an ocean like that to swim in!!

The reception staff Rezaul and sophia were amazing especially the incredible help information and kindness of Rezaul made our stay incredible Highly recommend

Buenísima ubicación y un servicio super esmerado. De inicio a fin. Hemos viajado a muchas islas locales y este hotel está muy por encima del estandard en todo. Se agradece el esfuerzo y las ganas que le ponen.

Que había obras de construcción al lado. Esto no es culpa del hotel y está toda la isla igual. Una pena por cierto. Van a destrozar la isla.

Me gustó mucho la ubicación y sobre todo el trato del personal, te tratan con mucho cariño. Quiero destacar la limpieza impecable de las habitaciones y la comodidad de las camas.

Questa recensione è dettata dal cuore e non solo dalla nostra esperienza presso questa struttura. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno paradisiaco, tutto è stato fantastico e indimenticabile. La struttura è bellissima, nuova e difronte alla stupenda bikini beach di Ukulhas. La camera nuova, moderna, pulita, dotata di ogni comfort e con una vista mare da pelle d’oca veniva pulita e igienizzata tutti i giorni. La colazione, il pranzo e la cena erano abbondanti, ottimi e con un ampio menù alla carta con piatti sublimi sia di carne che di pesce freschissimo. L’accoglienza che ci hanno riservato dal primo all’ultimo giorno i ragazzi dello staff è stata da favola, ci siamo sentiti dei Re per tutto il soggiorno. Musthafa, Razaul, Khan e tutte le ragazze che ci lavorano ci hanno praticamente coccolato e assistito per 7 giorni, dando sempre il massimo in tutto. Ci sono venuti a prendere al porto al nostro arrivo con il traghetto e ci hanno riportato il giorno della partenza, oltre ad essere stati sempre disponibili per tutto. Abbiamo scelto nella vasto catalogo delle escursioni quella del bagno a largo con tartarughe, mante e squali, un’esperienza davvero unica. È stato tutto così perfetto che ci ritorneremo ancora, è diventato il nostro posto del cuore, lo rimarrà per sempre.

We had a wonderful time at Ranthari Hotel and Spa Maldives. Everything about our stay was super, from the comfortable setting to the great atmosphere. A special thanks to all the staff members—everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Понравилось все с момента встречи на ресепшене! Был приятно впечатлен отношением персонала и сервисом. Ресаул был очень обходительным, во всем помогал и заряжал позитивом. У нас был номер наверху с потрясающим видом на лагуну. В номере чисто комфортно, хороший кондиционер. На крыше бассейн и место для медитаций. Тоже очень удобно утром и ночью. Еда топчик для локальных островов!! Очень вкусный стейк из тунца и сок из passion fruit. Ходили в другие рестораны на острове, но ресторан в отеле нам понравился больше всего. И круто что столики на пляже под пальмами. Также рекомендую брать экскурсию с мантами и акулами в отеле. Потому что вы будете вдвоем без лишних людей. Это очень удобно - не нужно ждать пока остальные вылезут из воды. Плюс манты пугаются когда толпа народа. А когда небольшая компания они спокойно плавают.

The hotel manager Raul and the rest of the staff members are particularly serviceminded and friendly. Although everything is close to the beach in such a small island, Ranthari still has the prime spot. The restaurant is excellent. The rooftop pool is clean and a great place to watch the sunset. We extended our stay at the island because we were so comfortable in this hotel.

We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend. Great location literally on the best beach of the island. The staff can’t do enough for you but we want to give a special mention to Rizaul who went above and beyond for us! Missing this place already.

Отличное здание, новые номера, хороший вид из номера, есть балкон. До пляжа рукой подать, дают бесплатно принадлежности для сноркелинга. Достаточно разнообразный завтрак.

Для такой цены можно было бы дать больше расходных материалов в номер, интернет очень плохой (в другом отеле на том же острове гораздо лучше). Очень дорогое кафе. В целом неплохо, но из двух отелей на острове Area Beach понравился больше.

Отдыхала в этом отеле в апреле — остались только тёплые воспоминания. Очень понравилось расположение и удобный пляж с лежаками, всё рядом. Персонал невероятно внимательный, а кухня — просто пальчики оближешь. Но главное моё открытие — это массажистка. У меня сильно болели рука и спина, отдых был под угрозой, но после 4 сеансов у этого профессионала боль ушла полностью! Благодаря ей я смогла по-настоящему расслабиться и отдохнуть. Огромное спасибо команде отеля!

I stayed here with my loved one. The room itself was quite good, with a very beautiful view. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming. The main downside was the breakfast. For a hotel positioning itself as a 4-star property, the breakfast quality was, in my opinion, closer to a 2.5-star level by international standards. It was practically the same food every day: different variations of bread, canned beans, a very limited selection, and an extremely poor assortment overall. The croissants did not seem particularly fresh. The only truly decent and edible option was the fried eggs, which I ended up eating every morning because it was essentially the only proper dish available for breakfast. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the breakfast quality significantly affected the overall impression of the hotel.

У нас был потрясающий номер на 3м этаже с видом на лагуну. Берите - не пожалеете! Убирались хорошо каждый день. Вкусные завтраки, персонал правда помогает во всем! Ризаул - просто лучший. Н у и в целом наши шезлонги от отеля и место со столиками в тени пальм - это лучшее на бикини пляже-мы обошли все. Всегда есть места, тихо и спокойно, до номера тоже близко, это удобно когда забыл что-то и тд. Лучшие закаты в бассейне на крыше...

Wir hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück war sehr gut für den Preis, das Zimmer und das Bett waren toll, der Blick aus dem Zimmer umwerfend. Der Service im Hotel war exzeptionell - die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des kompletten Personals war großartig. Das Angebot von Schnorchelutensilien wie Flossen, Brillen, Schnorchel (kostenfrei) war riesig. Es gibt Schattenplätze und Liegen direkt vor dem Hotel. Tee und Kaffee gibt es non-stop kostenlos im Hotel. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das Team für das Umsorgen bei meinem Tag mit Fieber und für all die Ideen und Anregungen - ihr habt unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht! Wir kommen wieder!

Останавливались на 7 дней. В отеле всё было хорошо.. Хорошее соотношение цена качество, отличное месторасположение. Рядом пляж, риф. Очень понравился отельный ресторан. Готовят вкусно, особенно понравился жёлтый тунец. Рекомендую к посещению! Если будет возможность, обязательно остановлюсь ещё раз.

Lo mejor fue el personal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa, especialmente las excursiones. Rezaul y Mahinda son de 10. La ubicación es extraordinaria para los amantes del esnórquel desde la misma playa. La isla es muy pequeña pero tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la vida marina y comer muy bien y a buen precio

отличное расположение - сразу пляж , трансфер от и до отеля , очень дружелюбный и приветливый персонал , который всегда прийдет на помощь , поможет , подскажет или просто поболтает с вами о жизни , в свободном доступе все для снорклинга и пляжного отдыха , на крыше есть бассейн . все очень понравилось . очень чисто - уборка каждый день и замена полотенец .

Fantastic location, beautiful view. We could see the sharks and fishes from the wonderful terrace. The people make this place even more beautiful and fill with heart, everyone soon nice the receptionist,the waitresses,the cooks the boss the massage staff,so attentive and kind. Beach is just one step away and food was the best on the island. Highly recommended!

Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmen. Würden wieder kommen. Strand und Liegenbereich sind toll! Frühstücksbuffet ist ok, aber nicht herausragend. Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht. Man fühlt sich wohl und es ist sehr sauber!

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sollte an vielen Stellen erneuert werden.

В первую очередь этот отпуск нам сделали люди - все сотрудники выкладываются на максимум, улыбчивые, доброжелательные, готовы всегда прийти на помощь с любым вопросом. Отель помог с трансфером, наш самолет прилетел раньше, и чтобы не ждать долго следующего трансфера, отелю удалось договориться, и мы сели на ранний утренний speedboat. Обратно из-за погоды мы выехали очень рано, но нас проводили к порту и дали с собой заботливо упакованный сендвич и фрукты. У нас был номер с видом на океан и балконом, просила в переписке номер повыше, чтобы вид был не на деревья - отелю удалось выполнить мою просьбу. Также заказывали торт в честь моего дня рождения, я накидала референсы для оформления, и торт оформили очень красиво, лучше, чем я ожидала. Что касается питания, брали halfboard - еда очень вкусная, мы ели много где, но в ресторане Ranthari одно из лучших предложений цена-качество. Завтраки каждый день шведский стол, еда не меняется, но за неделю нам не надоело, все было очень вкусно. Также была в спа, и это первое место где я смогла расслабиться на 100%, жаль, что ходила в последний день, потому что обязательно повторила бы это.

Хотелось бы, чтобы облагородили спуск к пляжу, очень неудобно

Not only was the location amazing, sitting on a fantastic bikini beach and with a rooftop pool with amazing views. The real standout was the incredible staff. They were so helpful picking us up from the port on arrival, helping with transfers and activities and even going the extra mile to help contact another hotel and resolve a booking issue for us!

There is no changing room or shower on the beach, and you need to get up early to have a place for the sunbed. Breakfasts were not so good, milk for the coffee is extra charge for some reason. I would stay in some cheaper place next time perhaps

If location matters to you, Ranthari is hard to beat. It’s just steps from the bikini beach and an easy walk to scuba diving and water sports — absolutely ideal for anyone coming to Ukulhas for the ocean. Breakfast was very good each morning, with fresh options and plenty to start the day. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Ukulhas itself is a fantastic island — it strikes a great balance between tourism and authentic local life. It feels welcoming without being overwhelming, and the locals genuinely seem to want visitors to enjoy their island. Overall, this is a well-run hotel in one of the best locations on the island. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooftop pool is a great feature, especially at sunset. The only suggestion for improvement would be adding some shaded areas, as it’s difficult to enjoy during the daytime without protection from the sun.

Just perfect. Top beachside location, with beautiful view from the room. Very helpful staff, giving us all instructions needed. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure

Long waiting time for lunch/dinner

Lokalizacja, widok z balkonu, atmosfera, bardzo przyjazny personel.

Výborná poloha (v podstate na pláži s vlastnými lehátkami, na ostrove asi najlepšia), čistota (denné upratovanie a výmena uterákov), personál (všetci boli milí, usmievaví a ochotní), dostatočné raňajky a kvalitná kuchyňa (čo sa kvality a chuti týka).

Zlá organizácia v kuchyni (často sa na jedlo čakalo aj hodinu!, objednávky sa vybavovali postupne a nikoho evidentne nenapadlo rozdeliť prácu v kuchyni zmysluplnejšie, takže aj na studený šalát /melón s feta syrom, hotový za tri minúty, sme čakali 40 min!!!/

Hervorzuheben ist das gesamte Personal - immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war groß, wurde täglich gereinigt und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich - für jeden Gast etwas dabei. Man konnte entweder innen oder auch am Strand das Frühstück genießen. Super fand ich, dass man den ganzen Tag Tee, Kaffee und Wasser bekommt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, hat einen eigenen Liegebereich und man bekommt täglich frische Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Leider gibt es nicht ausreichent Strandliegen und man muss diese zeitig "reservieren"

Die Dachterasse mit Pool wird leider sehr vernachlässigt - keine bzw. kaputte Liegen. Im Zimmer gibt es fast keinen Stauraum für Gewand, Koffer, etc. und auch keine Möglichkeit seine nassen Strandsachen aufzuhängen. Wir haben den Fernseher verwendet, da dieser eh' nicht funktioniert hat ;-) Leider hat auf der Insel auch die Verbauung/Zerstörung der Natur voll zugeschlagen und links und rechts vom Hotel stehen riesige Rohbauten, welche auf den Bildern auf Booking nicht ersichtlich sind :-(

Tout était parfait

The location is great. Staff and Managers are helpful. The restaurant is good, but the menu is small. If one informs about dietary restrictions, kitchen staff will do their best. The swimming pool is good. Free towels for the beach and sunbeds. Snorkeling equipment is free. Staff will book and prepay speed boats to and from the island. As it is an island where local lives there are a lot of staff to explore and the city has a medical center. Trees are making great Shadow from the sun in the beach area. Split swimsuits are okay on the beach and swimming areas, but you beed to put your clothes on when you are leaving it. The service is awesome.

The room had issues, but everything was fixed when the manager was told. Water is not that deep to swim, you need to go around a bit to get some depth not to cut your self on with rocks (it is not hotel issue, just FYI) Another FYI, the whole Island is a construction site: hotels, road are being built now. But they are not that disturbing, just will mess up your perfect Instagram photos of the island. If you are not into fishing or hardcore snorkeling it can be boring after 4-5 days. The beach needs a shower and stairs. There are no light switches near the bed.

В номере чисто, всё в исправном состоянии, есть всё необходимое, кровать и подушки удобные. Сам отель расположен в одном из лучших мест на острове: выходишь из отеля и буквально через пару шагов оказываешься на широком песчаном пляже. Напротив отеля - красивый подводный мир: всевозможные рыбки, а если повезёт - можно увидеть мурен, черепах, скатов и рифовых акул. Акулы хоть и безопасные, но меня они всё равно держали в тонусе 😅 Всё необходимое для снорклинга можно взять в отеле бесплатно. Вода, чай и кофе - безлимитно для всех постояльцев. У нас был полупансион: завтрак хороший, выбор не очень разнообразный, но всё вкусное и свежее — голодным никто не оставался. На ужин предлагалось по два блюда на выбор по меню. Выбор большой, но иногда приготовление блюда приходилось ждать до часа. Отдельно хочется отметить персонал отеля, очень доброжелательные и улыбчивые ребята, всегда готовые помочь и решить любой вопрос. Мустафа отлично говорит по-русски, так что даже при слабом знании английского проблем не возникнет: встретят, всё расскажут, покажут и проводят 👍 Также можно заказать трансфер из аэропорта до отеля за $50 — очень удобно.

Так хотелось поставить 10 из 10, но к сожалению поселили на 2 этаже, хотя просил при бронировании на верхнем. На 2 этаже моря почти невидно, так как обзор закрывают пальмы.

Ideal location right on beach with great sea views. Room is large clean and comfy. This is a lovely hotel, friendly staff. Air-conditioning works great. Beach beds and stunning views and snorkellkng right off beach where you can see sharks and turtles. One of my favourite local islands to visit.

Konum harika, denize 0. Deniz manzaralı odada konakları 411 numara inanılmaz bir manzarası var fotoğrafını paylaşıyorum. Çalışan arkadaşlar çok çok güleryüzlüler işlerini harika yapıyorlar otel konum vs. evet çok güzel ama onlar en iyisi. Yarım pansiyon konakladık akşam yemeği menüden seçiliyordu ve size özel hazırlanıyordu çok keyifliydi. Adanın bir çok noktasından denize giriliyor. Ne istediğinizle alakalı konum belirleyebilirsiniz. Sadece yüzmek isteyebilirsiniz, dalış yapmak isteyebilirsiniz, hepsi mümkün.

Türk alışkanlığı olsa gerek kahvaltı çeşitliliği oldukça az. Açık büfe kahvaltıda seçeneğin fazlalığından ziyade her gün aynı şeyler çıkıyor olması gözden geçirilebilir.

Staff were pleasant.

Very tired hotel, facilities were minimal, breakfasts were very average. Swimming pool area on the roof was neglected, dirty and unsafe. The overflow from the pool was full of algae, floorboards were loose. Each side of the hotel was a building site - we weren't informed of this.

Хороший отель на берегу океана. Чистые номера, убирались каждый день. Приветливый персонал, даже есть говорящий немного на русском на ресепшене. На крыше бассейн для инстаграммных фото. Маски/ласты/полотенца и лежаки для пляжа бесплатно. Завтраки входили в стоимость и они достаточно разнообразны. Немного не хватило зелени и овощей, но это лично мое предпочтение. Чай/кофе из кофе-машины в любое время. На нем можно сэкономить неплохую сумму. За пределами отеля, американо/капучино от 3$.

Двери соседей очень громко хлопают и о тихом спокойном сне забудьте. Бассейн чистят видимо редко (смотри фото).

The hotel location is great and very friendly staff. I recommend choosing rooms with a sea view, especially the corner rooms – the view is excellent. Breakfast could be better. There are many good restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner; I would especially recommend Yellow Mango, Basilico and Ostrov beach.

Bed’s mattresses too soft

Spędziliśmy z żoną i naszym 5-letnim dzieckiem 8 nocy i pobyt był w pełni udany. Hotel jest kameralny, ale pracują tu prawdziwe „wielkie” osoby — każdy, od sprzątaczki po menadżera, dokłada wszelkich starań, aby pobyt był przyjemny. Obsługa wychodzi naprzeciw gościom nawet w trudnych sytuacjach i trudno spotkać tak profesjonalny i serdeczny personel. Śniadania są proste i monotonne, ale wystarczające — nikt nie chodzi głodny. Lunch i kolacja to prawdziwa klasa: ryby, steki z tuńczyka, zupy — wspominamy szczególnie pomidorową z krewetkami ❤️. Pokoje są czyste, codziennie sprzątane, ciche i odpowiedniej wielkości. TV i klimatyzacja działają bez zarzutu. Jedynym drobnym brakiem była suszarka i wieszaki na mokre ubrania, ale to szczegół. Plaża przy hotelu jest kamienista, więc dla nas, z 5-letnim dzieckiem, wygodniej było chodzić kawałek dalej do Coco Bar. Rafa i snorkeling — super. Hotel zapewnia sprzęt do snorkelingu, a leżaki i parasole są dostępne. Podsumowując: niewielki hotel, wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne, z obsługą, która działa z pasją i sercem. Jesteśmy pod wrażeniem podejścia do gości i z przyjemnością polecamy pobyt tutaj. Aż chce się wracać!

Great restaurant staff and Operations manager Mahindi looked after our groups needs including one of our party who was glutinous free He gave us excellent advice re trips and snorkelling and laud on a special birthday meal for one of our party who was He even showed us a 152kg yellow fin tuna caught and brought to hotel which we tried the best tuna steaks He coukd not do enough to ensure our group was looked after

Booking.com / hotel mid advertising /miselling Pictures of roof top terrace are not accurate and had to ask fir chairs to be taken upstairs to sit on to admire a view Building site either site - see pictures If you are on edge rooms that’s what you will see a building site surrounding the hotel Seaview balcony rooms are advertised but can only get sea view from 3rd floor upwards - we had to ask to move having paid for that sea view - if the hotel had been full to capacity then we would have been very disappointed

Close to the beach and amazing sea life to explore. Small island and easily explored on foot and lots of help from the staff. Excellent food from the hotel restaurant.

The swimming pool area needs repair and more shaded areas are required on the roof top.

Misold and misled by advertising and pictures Sea view balcony on lower floors - no seaview due to palms need to be on 3rd floor or higher despite booking early and having pictures of the room we booked in our name it wasn’t seaview and we had to persist to be moved and due to availability we were moved Balcony view is of building site and full construction of high rise blocks either side of hotel - our friends had balcony with view which was appalling of construction site and despite booking early and being given pictures of room we booked we were unable to change and got only €70 dollar refund against speed boat transfer we just wanted to move rooms but not possible due to capacity - not what we paid for Hotel manager/ reception stated he had updated bookings.com with updated pictures of construction site showing the issue as agreed but he stated bookings.com had removed them Someone is not telling the truth and I told reception it was miselling and needed to be corrected and I would put honest review on site No proper seating upstairs on terrace - needed to ask for chairs to be brought up Dangerous balcony railing Dirty stagnant pool filter Beach erosion thus not able to lay in beach outside hotel Beach garden has construction workers materials in as they are working either side of the hotel in large construction Pictures don’t reflect the hotel current status
