Super hyggeligt hotel i rolige omgivelser, trukket væk fra gaden - det var et hyggeligt værelse med skøn terasse - skønt med dejlig restaurant forbindelse hotellet (god mad) fint lille pool område - lå lidt i udkanten af byen, men alligevel tæt på alt, caféer, restauranter samt shopping og spa'er - så rolige omgivelser.

Der var en del myrer på stedet, men selvfølgelig klart når man bor tæt på naturen - også tearessen var der en del.

Beds were a bit hard after 4 nights.

Non c'è assolutamente niente che non mi sia piaciuto di questa struttura, che consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia alloggiare a Pererenan, e vicino alla spiaggia. Lo staff è veramente fenomenale, dal primo all'ultimo istante: estremamente gentili e collaborativi, sempre a disposizione, sempre pronti ad aiutare con bagagli, informazioni, prenotazioni di driver, qualunque cosa. Inoltre, ti chiamano sempre per nome, all'arrivo offrono una bevanda rinfrescante e spesso, anche durante il soggiorno, ci hanno offerto il loro buonissimo Jamu (quanto ci manca!), sempre in segno di accoglienza e di cura. La nostra stanza (che dava da un lato sul giardino e dall'altro sulla piscina) era davvero bellissima, pulita, curata nel dettaglio, molto spaziosa, con letti comodi e ampi, con un bellissimi bagno e tutto l'occorrente per poterci rilassare. La struttura ha una piscina e anche una vasca di ghiaccio, oltre che un bel giardino ed un ristorante annesso (che però non abbiamo provato - sarà per la prossima volta!). La spiaggia è raggiungibile a piedi (letteralmente meno di 5 minuti). Nei paraggi dell'hotel ci sono anche diversi bar e ristoranti, alcune boutique di vestiti e una lavanderia non molto distante. Per chi non vuole stare nel caos di Canggu ma comunque vicino (non più di 15 minuti a piedi, passando dalla spiaggia, in scooter ancora meno), Masmara Resort è 100% consigliato (e, alloggiandovi, abbiamo anche supportato un business locale, gestito da local con tutto l'amore e la cura che la popolazione balinese e indonesiana ha proprio nel DNA).

Non ho veramente alcun lato negativo da far emergere - nei 4 giorni trascorsi a Masmara Resort non ho avuto alcun genere di problema, tutto all'altezza delle aspettative se non di più.

よくなかったわけではないけど、バスタブがあればもっと最高でしたが、全く問題ありません。夜遅くまで音楽が聞こえてくるのも仕方ないのかな。

Extremely welcoming and supportive staff. Quiet place but still close to all the cafes shops and restaurants. Hotel provided us some bycicles for free.

Lovely tropical setting , small but beautifull with a great restaurant in front Kilo. 100m to Perenan beach for sunset and surfing.

Take bikes not cars to get around traffic up the hill is challenging, I played padel over in Canngu.

Hotellet samarbeider med Kilo restaurant, som står for servering av frokost til hotellgjestene. Kilo har veldig god mat, men de er utrolig treige. Du må sette av en time til frokost for serveringen tar utrolig lang tid. De mangler også veldig ofte råvarer til mange av rettene på menyen, slik at utvalget er begrenset. Vi ble også matforgiftet og vi antar at det var av mat fra Kilo. Vi har ingen bevis for at det var mat fra Kilo som var årsaken, men det er sannsynlig.

Would have liked a gym

The staff were amazing, from our arrival until our departure 6 days later they were all helpful;attentive and courteous. The location is at the quieter end of Pererenan Road and is set back behind Kilo kitchen. Pererenan Road has a multitude of fantastic restaurants and Hippie Fish is great for sunset drinks on the seaside. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We had a room overlooking the pool which suited our needs.

Prachtig appartement met 2 slaapkamers, geweldige badkamer en heerlijk terras. Lekker zwembad. Op 5 min lopen van het strand. Personeel ontzettend aardig. Ontbijt en diner in Kilo restaurant zeker aan te bevelen.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Canggu, just a short walk from amazing cafés, restaurants, shops, and the beach. Mangde and the rest of the team were absolutely wonderful—always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay even more special. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was great. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canggu.

The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach and a wide choice of bars and restaurants. The resort was peaceful and calm. It was clean and the staff always greeted us with big smiles. Our room was a really good size for 2 people to share for a week overlooking gardens and felt very private.

Sometimes the restaurant did not have items in stock as per the menu and the quality felt a bit inconsistent.

This accommodation was honestly perfect from beginning to end 😭✨ The space was incredibly large, smelled amazing, and everything felt clean, relaxing, and beautifully designed. The staff were very kind and welcoming, especially even though we arrived quite late. I really appreciated how warm and helpful everyone was 💛 One of the highlights was definitely the restaurant inside the hotel — dinner there felt so special and the food was absolutely delicious 🍽️✨ The swimming pool was also right outside the balcony, which made the whole atmosphere feel even more luxurious and relaxing 🌊🏊‍♀️ The location was excellent as well. It only took about 10 minutes on foot to reach the Sunday Market, so it was easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful stay 😊🌿

Frühstück nur im restaurant, das vor dem Hotel ist oder eben auswärts zB am Beach Restaurant ist recht teuer Lärm vom Zimmer darüber hört man gut Man sollte prüfen wieviele Baustellen in der Nachbarschaft aktiv sind

L’accueil, les repas délicieux, la gentillesse. La literie est très confortable.

La salle de bain n’est pas très isolée par rapport à la chambre. Pas d’intimité au niveau du bruit.

Got a free room upgrade, staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Room was very tidy, clean, and very well thought so everything was really convenient to use and to live. Very great stay!

It is pretty simple.

Masmara is tucked in Pererenan, a peaceful village in Canggu. It's 5 minutes walk to Pererenan beach, while also adjacent to loads of restaurants and cafes. The staff has been very helpful and hospitable. The pool is very tranquil in a sunny day, there's also ice bath facilities if you're happy to try.

It was a beautiful hotel, loved the room and pool and the staff couldn't do enough to help me! They were so lovely.

A few more Gluten free options on the breakfast menu would be good

Masmara Pererenan Bali is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Very helpfull staff 🤍 Lovely rooms by the pool, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot close to Pererenan beach. I’ve been coming back here year after year and always enjoy my stay.

Amazing property, very friendly staff, location is the best in Canggu since it’s the only quieter area but close to lots of nice restaurants and bars.

Estaba bien ubicado, cerca a la playa y en una calle más tranquila que en la zona más concurrida, había buenos restaurantes para desayunar y cenar.

Está un poco viejo, es lindo, tranquilo pero en las fotos se ve más bonito, las camas no son tan cómodas. Devi destacar que los otros hoteles en los que estuve en Bali fueron muy superiores así que por esto dejo esto. Pero el hotel está bien

Absolutely loved our stay at Masmara. We arrived late at night and the security team were very helpful getting us checked in and shown around. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was clean, very comfortable and secure. It had everything we needed and the terrace with loungers and seating was a lovely bonus! The staff were so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help with some birthday celebrations. Loved the quiet pool area and had some great food/drinks from the restaurant on site. The location was good - walking distance to a few cafes/restaurants and the beach and a short scooter ride to the centre of Canggu for more options.

Lovely pool view room opening onto gorgeous little garden and pool. It is as in pictures. The room was spacious and very comfortable with decor of natural wood and stone. Beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a great restaurant to the front of the property, Kilo, where we had fabulous breakfasts which we charged to the room. A word on location, it is about 2 minutes walk from Pererenan beach and the area has a lovely chilled vibe, being an area where people come to surf rather than a purpose built seaside resort.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is located in a quiet area of Canggu, which feels peaceful yet still convenient — there are plenty of great restaurants and cafés just along the same street. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the sense of privacy throughout the property. The pool was always clean and relaxing, and having an on-site restaurant made things even easier. I felt completely safe and comfortable during my stay, and honestly, the value for money is amazing. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I come to Canggu!

Tolle Unterkunft! Die Lage ist einfach ein Traum. Top Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Am Pool sind wir teilweise ganz alleine gelegen - toll zum entspannen!

Wir waren für 6 Nächte in einer 3 Zimmer suite und waren total begeistert. Super Ausstattung, grosszügige Zimmer und grosse betten, top gepflegt und sehr nettes Personal. Jeden Tag wurde im Zimmer trinkwasser und Kaffee kapseln nachgefüllt. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Der Pool ist klein aber ausreichend da die Anlage sehr familiär ist und wir nie das gefühl hatten, dass es mal eng wurde. Die kostenfreie Eistonne ist ein weiteres Highlight für eine Abkühlung.

The people working at masmara make the difference. Such kindness. And they really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortabele. The bed is super comfortabele. And the room is very clean.

The rooms are not fully sound proof. I was unlucky the first night with a family in the room above mine of which the kid was screaming throughout the night, but the next day they moved me to a different room.
