Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Well, the view is amazing. Not just of the water but of the main square of the town. You literally can go outside and be swimming in the warm Mediterranean water 40 pieces right outside your door. there's literally not a better location in this town.
I really couldn't have asked for much more.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The young man who checked us in was very personable and helpful. The location and the sea view from the room were incredible! In the sea view room, there was a complimentary bottle of prosecco, much appreciated, and which we all three enjoyed. It was also wonderful to walk downstairs and have a choice of very good outdoor restaurants, often with a great view of the sea. There is no elevator, so you must carry your bags up the stairs and walk up & down them to get in and out of the hotel.
It was a bit hard to find the lights when coming into the pitch-dark hotel at night.

Я не додивилася при бронюванні, що там є два номери зі спільною ванною і випадково забронювала такий, на наступний день в інший номер до цієї ванної заселилися росіяни і вкрали мою косметику, але адміністрація поспілкувалася з ними і все повернули. Поруч багато закладів, прямо біля виходу з будинку пляж, до залізничної станції менше 10 хв пішки

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The staff and location are excellent. Really friendly and helpful and informative. Perfect for the trains. Lovely village but quite a severe hike to the walking trail. Not for the faint hearted. After the hike, the flights of stairs to the accommodation was easy.
Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbours who talked loudly for many of the early hours. I would recommend earplugs.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Wspaniała lokalizacja, miły personel, pokój sprzątany codziennie. W łazience pełne wyposażenie. Pokój klimatyzowany, dodatkowo wiatrak więc nawet najwyżej położony pokój, na poddaszu był komfortowy.
Minusem była łazienka poza pokojem, ale nie stanowiło to jakiegoś dużego problemu. Dla osób z problemami motorycznymi brak windy może być uciążliwy.

Only minor complaint I have is that the bed was too hard for me - but that's down to personal taste as my friend loved it!

Il ragazzo che gestisce la struttura, Lorenzo è stato veramente gentilissimo e prezioso per tutti i consigli che ci ha dato su cosa visitare ed anche cosa e dove mangiare. Abbiamo passato tre giorni veramente indimenticabili. Veramente consigliato!!!

Reviewed May 2, 2026Location and staff. Vernazza is stunning. The front door of the hotel opens into the harbour area. You are 50 meters from the water. You have a wonderful restaurant beside the front door.
Nothing really. You stay there for the location and convenience. Being able to stay in Vernazza and have a late dinner, sit at the water and be minutes away from your stay is the point.

The staff were amazing and gave great recommendations for local food. And the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. This stay has been the highlight of our trip so far, and we will hopefully come back at some point. We will be recommending Albergo Barbara to all who will listen!

De prijs voor 1 persoon is hetzelfde als de prijs voor 2 personen, en dan wordt het natuurlijk wel duur. Maar dat is natuurlijk een algemeen probleem van overnachtingen.

THE HOTEL IS ON A THIRD FLOOR, NO ELEVATOR LIKE IN EVERY OTHER PLACE. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PERFECT, THE CLEANLINESS, THE BED, THE SHOWER AND IMPECCABLE WHITE LINEN SHEETS AND TO TOWELS. L'acqua calda può mancare se altri ospiti la consumano in maniera eccessiva ma si tratta di aspettare solo un po per scaldare il boiler da 100 litri. Direi più una maleducazione degli ospiti piuttosto che un problema della struttura.

Aunq los hospedajes describen perfectamente el lugar, uno no logra dimensionar los espacios jajajaja Si está en el último piso y la última escalera para acceder es en caracol, algo estrecha e inclinada, repito, ya lo había leído, pensaría que si vas con maletas de ruedas o personas con poca movilidad está no sería la opción !!!
