The location is great. The room was quite large and clean and there was a common terrace for the use of the rooms directly overlooking the sea from the cliff. Breakfast is inlcuded.

Easy to find. Large room and comfortable bed.

Difficult to get up 3 flights if a narrow, spiral staircase. Would’ve liked to have a coffee maker and mini fridge.

Great location in heart of town. The rooms were all up many steps- 119 uneven different height stairs to get to our room. Plain room, very basic, no fridge, no, hot water pot. Breakfast ok but they only give you one cup of coffee. Personell grumpy.

The small beds did have comfortable mattresses and the small bathroom was recently done to a high standard and was clean. The view from the breakfast area was beautiful, but from another hotel we could have had such a view from our room.

The photos on booking.com showed rooms very different to the one we got. Ours was a very small hallway with three single beds and a window that opened to rock wall. At night. It felt like there was not enough air to breath.

A great spot in Vernazza with lovely sea views from the bar/breakfast room. A number of restaurants and bars close by. Many stairs to get to our room which was on the top floor (may be a problem with bulky luggage). Our room was comfortable and clean. Italian style breakfast served, with coffee made to order.

Quiet, clean scenic, modern facilities, air conditioned, convenient to train and restaurants right in the harbor at Vernazza.

Like everywhere in Cinque Terre there is much climbing, but this was well worth the effort. Take pics of the passage on your first time up to your room because there is no signage.

Told queen, told a/c, neither was available, two scrappy fans in a sweltering top floor room. Three single beds, uncomfortable could almost touch cross walls, better rooms in bad college dorm. Circuit blew with two fans and cell phone charger. It was like a bad youth hostile. Never again! Staff was nice and courteous.

I cannot say I didn’t like anything. The steep climb with our luggage was something I was prepared for, but not all guests could manage. I would suggest offering porter service for an added fee for travellers with heavy luggage

The location was great. The breakfast on the Deck terrace was fine.

The staff were rude. I expected the 100 steps to climb, because Id been warned, but to get to the room and then have it HOT was not good! No AC, and I had specifically put that in my fliters. The room never cooled off, even at night. There were fans we could use, but they took up the outlets next to the bed so you couldn't have a light or charge your phone. The bathroom shower was TINY. The bed was ok but the pillows were bad.

Checkin was in the bar and staff was unfriendly. The walk to the rooms was up many stairs and rooms were very minimal.

Der Parkplatz war mit 40€ für 1 Nacht reine Abzocke. Es wäre schön, wenn vorher darauf hingewiesen würde, dass das Hotel nur zu Fuß erreichbar ist, was mit Gepäck schwierig ist.Der Shuttle vom Parkplatz fährt nur bis zum Ort .Die Zimmer sind über mehrere Treppenstufen erreichbar. Die Wendeltreppe zum Schluss war eine Zumutung. Ab 23 Uhr wurde alles im Ort geschlossen. Es war nicht möglich, noch einen Drink oder ähnliches zu bekommen.

View from breakfast / deck room (open for drinks a few hours each evening) was excellent. Room size was sufficient. The bar area was accommodating for use of the bathroom when needed.

There were 142 steps from the harbor to our room. We knew that as we have stayed there in 2008 but guests should be aware. We were there for 6 nights. A few changes to the breakfast menu every other day would have been nice. Sliced fruit for breakfast would have been nice too.

Loved the outdoor breakfast and sitting areas with fantastic views.

There was one electrical outlet in our room that didn’t work and when I plugged my iPhone in, I got a slight electrical shock. Please fix for safety reasons.

It is a very nice property. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The breakfast area/bar has a wonderful view and there is a nice additional porch area over sea with shade - a nice place to sit and read. The breakfast is decent and the bar prices are fair. It was quiet for sleeping.

The only downside to this property is the number of stairs. I counted 140 from where to check in to my room. It is a long way to carry bags. The last 35 steps are a very narrow spiral staircase so pack accordingly- no huge bags. If you are fit you will love this place. If you have mobility issues you should book somewhere else.

L'hôtel est très bien situé les ruelles pour atteindre la chambre sont magnifiques. Attention pas d'accès en voiture on est obligé de stationner la voiture bien au-dessus du village. Le petit déjeuner était de qualité et la vue depuis Restaurant était magnifique

Le rapport qualité prix. Les photos sur Booking sont très belles avec vue sur mer mais la réalité est tout autre. La chambre était minuscule avec une seule petite fenêtre donnant sur le voisin en face. A 160€ la nuit j'espérais mieux. La douche était vraiment très petite. Néanmoins n'ayant pas de balcon dans la chambre l'hôtel autorise l'accès à une mignonne petite terrasse au dernier étage permettant de profiter pleinement de la vue. Prudence lors de la réservation.

Las vistas de las terrazas del edificio son espectaculares, no tanto de la habitación que nos dieron, aunque imagino que irá en función del precio. Desayuno espectacular en una terraza colgada sobre el mar. Edificio auténtico inmerso en la vida natural del pueblo, escaleras incluidas.

Habitación algo pequeña, sin una silla para poder sentarse; y el ruido de las puertas vecinas (culpa más de estos, si bien la puerta es muy ligera y vibra amplificando los portazos numerosos del resto de inquilinos).

Perfect location if you’re staying in Vernazza - the perfect base for a trip to Cinque Terre. I visited all of the towns and was very happy with my decision, both the town and the hotel

Vi hadde 3 rom. Kun 1 rom hadde A/C. Fryktelig varmt første natten på de rommene uten A/C. Dette burde vi sikkert ha sjekket selv, men det glapp når vi booket. Det er det eneste jeg har å utsette på hotellet. Derfor trekk på valuta for pengene og komort. Rom

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans la ville, avec une terrasse sur la mer incroyable. Le petit déjeuner est idyllique : vue plongeante sur la mer Méditerranée. Parfait pour explorer les Cinque Terre.

Vu la chaleur et parce que la chambre n'était pas traversante, il manquait une climatisation. Pas de service de blanchisserie, c'est dommage car c'est un site de randonnée. L'accueil était très impersonnel.

Vue montagne et mer depuis le lit et notre balcon. Nous avons eu la chance d'y déguster notre dîner que nous avions ramené. La salle prévue pour les petits-déjeuners (compris dans notre réservation) est une terrasse avec vue directe sur la mer, magnifique ! Emplacement idéal car situé directement dans le centre-ville de Vernazza.

Pas de chocolat chaud au petit-déjeuner.

Nous avons adoré l’emplacement de l’hôtel, tout près de la plage et facile à trouver. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé le grand balcon au deuxième étage avec un vue incroyable, pareil la vue depuis la terrasse au moment du petit déjeuner, tout simplement magnifique. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement, ce qui est vraiment appréciable

Når du har gått opp alle trappene til hotellet, kommer du til en fredfull og vakker del av Vernazza som er annerledes enn den hektiske bykjernen. Fra terrassen der frokosten ble servert, koste vi oss med den vakre utsikten ut over havet.

Skulle kanskje ønske en mer variert frokost, men det er en detalj mot alt som ellers var bra.

The property was in a perfect location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the breakfast the next morning with the gorgeous view

The location of the property is up narrow steps so can be slightly difficult carrying luggage up if you are alone but it was manageable , the only other thing I will mention the room I stayed in was slightly out dated and did not have a mini fridge compared to other accommodations I stayed in during my stay in this area.

Von der Terasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, um als Radreisender eher starten zu können, hat mir eine Dame des Hotels ermöglicht, eine Stunde vor der Öffnung am nächsten Morgen mein Rad zu bekommen.

L'emplacement est idéal, on a une vue époustouflante sur la mer pour le petit déjeuner et les chambres sont hyper propres. Le personnel du restaurant pour le petit déjeuner est en plus adorable.

La jeune femme brune qui m'a accueilli à été odieuse. Il y a 100 marches exterieures à monter pour accéder aux chambres et j'avais une valise plutôt lourde. Elle a monté devant moi les marches pour m'accompagner à la chambre SANS JAMAIS ME PROPOSER DE M'AIDER alors qu'elle voyait que je souffrais à monter toute seule ma grosse valise par 35 degrés en plein mois d'août. Quand je lui ai demandé si elle pouvait m'aider à monter ma valise à 2, elle a PRÉTEXTÉ avoir mal au dos !!! Une vraie menteuse. Heureusement à la presque fin des marches, un gentil monsieur lui a même fait la remarque en italien et m'a aidé à finir de monter ma valise J'ai trouvé cela LAMENTABLE comme service de la part d'un hôtel qui n'aide même pas une femme seule à monter 100 marches avec sa valise. J'aurai été son boss, je l'aurai viré sur le champs ! INADMISSIBLE !!! Repérez la : elle est jeune, brune, mince, ne sourit jamais et te regarde avec dédain. Messieurs ou mesdames les propriétaires, merci à l'avance de mieux choisir votre personnel. Ce comportement est odieux et humiliant. En France, cela est considéré comme une faute grave avec virage à la clé !!! Bravo sinon pour tout le reste du personnel au restaurant qui a été adorable ( petit déjeuner et diner). Quant à cette jeune personne odieuse, je ne lui souhaite pas une belle carrière dans le tourisme, elle est très mal barrée ! 😡😡😡

La chambre était simple mais confortable. Le petit déjeuner correct. Par contre la salle a manger avait une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. Tellement de charme dans ce village.

Pas trop dérangeant mais il faut être prêt aux nombreuses marches à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur.

Sonnenschirme werden fürs Frühstück nicht geöffnet. Raum könnte netter eingerichtet sein.

Rigtig fint overnatningssted i Vernassa. Hotellet ligger perfekt, hvis man gerne vil bo i byen. Vi havde 118 trappetrin til vores lejlighed, hvilket gav en smuk udsigt ved vandet. Vi vidste, at der var trappetrin på forhånd, men hvis man er dårligt gående, så skal man ikke vælge denne lejlighed. Vi havde to overnatninger, hvilket passede perfekt til at opleve byen. Morgenmaden har en fantastisk udsigt. Vi blev mødt af en meget sød og imødekommende dame, som viste os vores værelser. Vi var forsinket med flyveren men havde god og hurtig kontakt til hotellet hele vejen igennem. Rene og pæne værelser. Vi anbefaler!

Excellent location with lovely restaurant terrace with incredible sea view, serving breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening drinks. Friendly staff, from reception to restaurant.

No fridge in room. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Shower cubicle with minimum space. Bathroom handbasin cracked. Fire exit: unclear how you would exit the building in case of fire, since there only appeared to be a single very narrow spiral stone staircase from rooms to restaurant terrace.

Die Lage war optimal, das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut, das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr schön und hatte einen unfassbaren Ausblick.

Leider hatten wir in der ersten Nacht nicht unser gebuchtes Zimmer, wir waren in einer anderen Kategorie untergebracht (Fehler bei der Zimmer vergabe). Die Zimmer waren absolut nicht vergleichbar (kein Balkon, viel ältere Ausstattung, etc. ), da wir spät angereist waren hatten wir keine Wahl und konnten dann erst am zweiten Tag in das gebuchte Zimmer umziehen, auch hier dauerte das Prozedere sehr lange bis das Zimmer her gerichtet war. Zuerst wurde wenig Einsicht vom Hotel gezeigt. Schließlich und nach Nachfragen, bekamen wir eine kleine Erstattung für die erste Nacht, i.O.. Zudem wurden leider dreckige Handtücher welche von uns zum Tausch (auf den Boden) bereit gelegt wurden, einfach wieder auf den Haken gehängt. Für ein Hotel in der Kategorie mit dem Preis schwer zu akzeptieren.

staff, including those at breakfast, were unfriendly. We got the impression that one-night guests are not particularly welcome Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. It presents itself as friendly, warm, creative, and welcoming when you book, but our experience did not live up to that image.

This was the 3rd time I have stayed at the hotel and in-fact the same room. The rooms are small but the facilities ; open terrace for breakfast and evening drinks ect make up for it. Even the 92 steps are worth the climb when you take in the views.

Das Gianni Franzi ist im Trubel des Cinque Terre Dorfes eine Oase der Ruhe. Auch ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden!

The bar on the first floor also serves as the reception, but when I arrived and checked in, the bar staff and the staff member who showed me to my room clearly had annoyed looks on their faces. The latter became a little more friendly later, but I was so disappointed that my excitement about visiting such a wonderful place vanished in an instant. It's a shame to think that they might have adopted this attitude because the hotel's terrace and cafe&bar with a deck overlooking the sea offer such great views that they don't need to make any effort to attract customers.

Staff were rude. Actually only one staff in particular, went to have a drink on the deck and completely ruined the experience for no reason. Basically went in for a drink and he asked me to move seat in an empty bar for no reason and in an incredibly rude manner. Ruined my experience of Gianni franzi, for what - having a seat in the right place in case someone came into the empty bar. Pretty appalled

The best part was the options of where to sit to relax over looking the water.

In the description, it was clear to me that I would have an ocean view and our view from room 503 was not close to that. And the stairs to get there were unbelievable!

What an amazing place. Friendly welcome and Great location a few minutes walk from the station. We had a suite and the views were amazing. Lovely modern room and all the facilities you need. Great breakfast and again an amazing terrace over the sea to enjoy while you eat.

Camera 2 : si sente qualsiasi rumore, sembra di essere in un dormitorio, non siamo riusciti a dormire. Avevo chiesto espressamente una camera con vista mare, pagandola il dovuto, e mi hanno dato una vista casetta di fronte. L’editificio 41 in cui si trovano alcune delle camere non è un granché, abbastanza vecchiotto con camere tutte attaccate e in cui, ripeto, si sente qualsiasi rumore. Di solito non faccio recensioni negative, ma questo posto é sinceramente deludente per il prezzo pagato.

I liked it all! But remember- this is an ancient town built into the cliffs- with that comes many steep stairs. If you think your going to have a bell boy drop your suitcase at the door- think again! Your going to lug that suitcase up the stairs yourself...so plan accordingly 😀

El personal muy dispuesto a ayudar. Instalaciones cómodas y con todos los elementos disponibles. El restaurante tenía una maravillosa y excelente vista.

Mi expectativa era un cuarto con vista al mar, pero no fue así. Supongo que habrán algunos disponibles por otro valor, pero no es claro. Igualmente, se escuchaba algo de ruido de los otros cuartos.

Bardzo udany pobyt! Hotel jest czysty, zadbany i komfortowy, a pokoje są przestronne i dobrze wyposażone z przepięknym widokiem. Na szczególne uznanie zasługuje personel – wszyscy byli niezwykle mili, uprzejmi i pomocni. Obsługa zawsze służyła pomocą i dbała o to, aby pobyt był jak najbardziej komfortowy. Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel i z przyjemnością wrócę tu ponownie!

Hotel położony jest w samym sercu Vernazza, taras z widokiem na morze który dostępny jest dla gości hotelu zapiera dech w piersiach!

O quarto estava reformado e o chuveiro era realmente ótimo. Depois de um dia de praia e andanças por Cinque Terre, vale a pena. A vista também é incrível, especialmente da área do café da manhã. Simplesmente lindíssimo.

Se você é uma pessoa idosa com problema motores, simplesmente não vá. São muitas e muitas escadas. Quando eu li esses comentários aqui, achei que as pessoas estavam exagerando, mas é realmente verdade. E em qualquer cenário, não vá em hipótese alguma com uma mala grande. Como estava em uma viagem longa, seria impossível não ter uma, mas foi realmente um sufoco para subir e descer com uma mala de 23kg, um verdadeiro pânico. Além disso, acho que o café da manhã poderia ser bem melhor, tendo em vista o preço das diárias, que são um tanto quanto caras. Os croissants pareciam velhos e as maçãs claramente não foram lavadas.

L’endroit sur les hauteurs est tout simplement magique. La vue est extraordinaire ! La salle petit déjeuner est aussi très agréable.

Petit bémol, l’insonorisation de la chambre avec la porte d’entrée qui claque. Et le buffet petit déjeuner qui aurait pu être un peu plus varié avec peut-être des fruits de saison autre que des pommes par exemple.
