1 NIGHT STAY AT POZZO SACRO / DOMUS DE DIANNA We stayed in south of Sardinia for the week, but didn’t want to do the 3 hour drive to Olbia early hours in the morning so we booked a room near the airport (pozzo sacro) Using the name/address on booking.com, we could not find the hotel. I stumbled on to a different name of hotel on google maps that turned out to be the right hotel. Was a headache. Entered reception, the staff member was very nice and welcoming. PROS of hotel Spacious room. Big car park. Good location close to the airport. Nice staff CONS of the hotel.. If you open the shower door the wrong way it hits the toilet, it’s like the door handle is on the wrong side. Room has musty smell. Toilet extractor makes a funny clicking noise. Beds hard as concrete. Found hair on the shower hose from the previous user. As we only stayed for 1 night and left early morning, we didn’t use any of the hotels other facilities.

We stayed here from Friday to Monday - the room that we had was clean but there was a couple of issues ; shower head kept falling down and a piece of the plastic fell off and water leaked out, Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the room - both issues were sorted by the next day however, the Wi-Fi wasn’t the greatest after that. Beds are firm but weren’t too bad. The plug sockets in the room aren’t great as the plug keeps falling out if not kept in the right position. The pool opens from 10-5 and the bar opens from 5-10 but if you want a non alcoholic drink / coffee you can ask reception. The hotel is very much out the way with no access to anything in a walking distance unless you walk on the motor way; there is a bus stop each direction just outside the hotel but they do come every hour or so - bus time table is not on the bus stop so you need to scan the bar code and download the app to get the times; is cheap as €1,50 for journey. Taxis are expensive costing around €27 for a 10 min journey so ideal to have a car. We didn’t eat at the hotel apart from breakfast which was ok and basic. The pool area is very clean and well kept & the staff here are very lovely and helpful

How is it possible for this hotel to achieve 4 stars. General poor quality and the hotel and facilities was not very fresh. Beds was hard as concrete, shower with water leakage, breakfast not very tempting and with plastic cups for juice ( could not find water ) , pool that opened 10 and closed 17 - should have been an outdoor relaxing place. Instead openings/doors were physically closed with chains with a prohibtion sign that did not excactly welcome you. When we choose a hotel we trust that the given stars are for real, but now we have learned that that is not the case. Very disapointing.

We loved the location of this property. It was very quiet, clean, the staff was helpful. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and a pool. A car is a must. We only with the on site restaurant was open.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Big rooms with big beds. Great breakfast in the mornings. Restaurant was closed but there were lots of restaurants in town and it was near the free public beach. Beatrice at the front desk was very nice and answered all our questions. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it if you are staying in Olbia.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional welcome I received. The hotel is okay but maybe only 3*, with small adjustments they can achieve 4* 1) I have never experienced a 4* hotel that does not offer beach towels 2) The hotel is 2 km from the beaches and a few km to the city, buses don't run that often, we missed the shuttle bus service. 3) The breakfast should be upgraded. 4) To our surprise, the hotel spend money on lifeguards in the pool which seems completely ridiculous with the few guests, most guests prefer the beautiful beach nearby, therefore they should save the lifeguard and upgrade something else.

The room was spacious, very clean, the little terrace cute with an amazing view, really close to Olbia, park place at the hotel. Breakfast very poor, not so many options, no vegetables..

Hotel eccellente: camere ampie, pulite e ben arredate, bella anche la piscina e la vista sul porto di Olbia, comodo il parcheggio interno ed il ristorante interno. Il personale è gentilissimo e professionale.

The place looks nice but not walkable, no dining options. The front desk staff is very nice and is the reason I didn’t give a lower rating. I thought the hotel’s restaurant was awful. We had a very strange experience there - the worst meal I had in Italy in the month that I was there. They should get a real chef. Also, I made a complaint to the manager and got zero response. Lastly, the bed is so hard it’s like sleeping on the floor.

The safe was broken…when opening balcony door air conditioning would have to be reset, the breakfast was medium…beds were hard.. pillows were medium The view pool balcony were good although the furniture needs to be replaced..

The staff of this property were great they all made us feel welcome and were glad we were there. We visited in October and it still seemed busy but not crowed.The room was clean and big with a great balcony and view.Good breakfast every morning with good variety . Town center was only a few minutes drive with many resturaunts.Renting a car is a good idea to visit all the great beaches and drive into town center. Our first time to Sardinia so we were very excited. The hotel on approach looks lovely and it is a beautiful building. However I’m going to score each item on its own merit as there were some serious failings here…. Location: the location is okay if you have a car. If you don’t, then I’d strongly advise to book somewhere closer to town. There is nothing open around the hotel and buses only go upto 8pm. There is also zero food from hotel in the evening out of season (after September) unless you want sandwiches which I noted had been there for a few days. Reception staff: we found the staff at reception very rude. In particular a younger lady who clearly has no concept of hospitality. We left a review on booking.com and the reply just confirmed this rudeness. They take no responsibility and made out like we were at fault despite being told conflicting information from different staff members. Breakfast staff: absolutely lovely and very helpful especially the man who was on every morning. Very polite and efficient. Room: rooms were a very good size as were bathrooms. The beds however are rock hard and the pillows were the same. We had to sleep on the sofa cushions as pillows. Not comfortable at all. Breakfast: the breakfast was good with lots of choice for a continental. Cleanliness: we can’t fault this at all as cleaners came round every day. I was ill for two days and didn’t go out so we had a choice to keep room to ourselves. Information given: this was poor. I was advised by message through booking.com by someone called Gaia that we could book excursions through hun in car park and that there were plenty of restaurants around the area. When we arrived we were told nothing open and they only used one tour operator which we were to book ourselves. Excursion: the tour operator they use has 2 stars on Google and I understand why! We emailed him on Monday asking for a trip to La Maddelena for Wednesday. He came back saying Thursday. I emailed back saying to book us on and then heard nothing. He never turned up!!! Apparently he didn’t get email even though it was a reply email. Real lack of communication and service! We ended up booking a hotel in Palau and getting the bus there ourselves which actually saved us about 80 euros. The hotel we booked was fantastic and we wish we had booked this in the first place rather than this hotel! Overall, although hotel Pozzo Sacro looked nice aesthetically, it felt soulless. It’s not near anywhere of interest and the staff don’t seem to be trained properly as their customer service skills are terrible. It will be interesting to see their response to this review, if it’s as rude as the last one! It’s not a hotel I’d book again or recommend unfortunately.

Lovely hotel and staff could not do enough for you. Would recommend a car as it’s too far away from the town centre. No 4 bus will take you for €1.50 but final bus is at 8pm. The taxis are a huge rip off, €30+ for a 6 minute journey. Stranded UK passengers at the airport (due to the air traffic issue) were charged €75 to get back to the hotel, so we’re taken advantage of in their vulnerable position. The hotel on the other hand couldn’t have been more accommodating to these people putting them up in rooms at the normal nightly rate! Not sure if we’d recommend the hotel for children as there is no entertainment for them aside from the pool which is mainly occupied by adults. For any disabled travellers who would like to take advantage of the pool- this is not suitable as it’s only accessible via steps.

Hele mooie locatie, parkachtig, voorzieningen zijn super, mooi zwembad, mooie kamers. Je hebt wel een auto nodig voor de omgeving.

Le personnel est très courtois et attentionné. C'est un bon hôtel et plutôt bon rapport qualité prix pour la région d'Olbia où les prix des hotels sont assez prohibitifs et moins bien classés. Le bord de route n'est pas gênant, car les chambres en sont suffisament éloignées et de plus bien insonorisées. Climatisation OK, literie un peu ferme, mais pas inconfortable. Comparé aux hôtels de la région, c'est un bon rapport qualité prix, bien placé pour y passer 2-3 jours et visiter le nord de la Sardaigne. Pas eu le temps de tester la piscine, dommage, mais l'appel de la mer a été plus fort ! Voiture indispensable, parking hotel assuré.

Super hôtel, piscine avec une jolie vue, grand parking , chambre spacieuse

Nous avons séjourné en famille avec une petite fille de 3 ans. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Idéalement situé. Nous avions une chambre sous dôme très spacieuse, stratégiquement situé pour visiter le nord de l'île. Une belle terrasse hyper cosie. La piscine avec vue est adaptée aux petits comme aux grands. Le petit déj est top, varié, cuisiné minute pour les œufs brouillés au bacon notement ! Enfin, l'accueil du personnel est irréprochable, sinon plus. D'une grande générosité avec les enfants et d'une grand sollicitude avec les parents. Nos seuls points négatifs (qui n'ont en rien gâché notre séjour) : literie trop dur pour madame, et pour messieurs quelques nuisances sonores pour la route qui passe en contre bas de l'hôtel, quand on profite de la terrasse extérieur. Très bonne insonorisation des chambres au demeurant ! C'était top

Hôtel magnifique, personnel sympathique et très serviable. Chambre très grande et très propre. Agence de voyage à côté de l'hôtel avec possibilité de réserver une journée en bateau dans l'archipel de la Maddalena. Plage de Pittulongu magnifique à min. en voiture. Supermarché à 5min à pieds. À conseiller vivement.

Virkeligt godt hotel. Super pool og fine bungalows. Ligger ikke i industriområde men udenfor. God morgenmad med masser af frugt. Tæt på superstrande. Shoppingcenter i gåafstand. Bil absolut nødvendig. Negativt er lunken kedelig kaffe. Dyrt internet 90kr for 6 timer. Langt fra Olbia som også er en dødsyg by. Mad øl osv på hotellet er dyrt.

Wir waren mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr, sehr schön und auch das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Zu bemängeln ist, dass den Gästen, die Halbpension gebucht haben, auch morgens, wo es eigentlich für keinen Gast einen festen Tisch gibt, feste Tische reserviert werden, nämlich die schönsten - die äußeren, mit schönsten Blick - und die, die "nur" mir Frühstück gebucht haben, also weniger Geld dort lassen, sich dann die übrig gebliebenen aussuchen dürfen. Ansonsten ist diesen Hotel wirklich super. Vom Flughafen dorthin zu finden, ist bei den vielen Straßenabzweigungen allerdings wirklich schwierig. Obwohl man vielleicht nur 20 Minuten benötigt, haben wir nach 2 Stunden am späten Abend aufgegeben und am Ende uns von einem Einheimischen hinbringen lassen.

Hôtel de charme et calme, idéal pour couples. Piscine sympathique et bien entretenue. Belle chambre climatisée tout confort. Bon petit déjeuner et restaurant accompagné d'un service de qualité. Côté points négatifs: situation de l'hôtel à proximité d'une zone industrielle, la terrasse du restaurant gagnerait à être totalement ouverte (des bâches en plastique coupent la lumière).

Waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel, gerne wieder!!! Waren auf Sardinien mit dem Mietwagen. Alles sehr gut zu erreichen. War ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Zimmer mit Meerblick, ok, es ist gleich ein Hagen in der Nähe, der den Anblick nicht ganz so romantisch erscheinen lässt... Doch bei dem tollen Hotel kann man darüber hinweg sehen :-)

The hotel has a good location relative to landmarks such as La Maddalena, islands, Gennargentu National & Park and Costa Smeralda. The Hotel provides a good service, and cleaning of the rooms is very good. The hotel offers good breakfast, but their a-la carte restaurant does not live up to the four stars, the food is quite ordinary and better food is available for less prices in restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Gereserveerd: superior kamer, K&O Gekregen: upgradekamer, ruim, met groot terras, toffe zetels, salonnetje, grote TV, badkamer met 2 wastafels en douche, minibar, airco, dagelijks propere handdoeken, 2dagelijks nieuwe lakens, proper; Bed (matras): 2m breed, goed, redelijk hard Maaltijden Ontbijt Buffet met alles erop en eraan, koeken, toast,… enkel één soort broodjes en deze zijn niet super (dit terwijl in de supermarkt zo lekker brood is te verkrijgen A la carte gegeten: menu vanaf € 30 vlees - € 32 vis (2 antipasti, primo, secondo en dessert), pasta zeeegel € 13, gemengde , gefriteerde vissschotel € 18; lekker, vriendelijk personeel, uitzicht op haven Conclusie Positief: vriendelijk personeel, upgrade van kamer gekregen, veilige parking, kleine shopping schuinover (met grote supermarkt, enkele winkels, apotheek,…); dichtbij alles, enkele km naar strand Pittolungo, enkele km naar centrum Olbia, veel resto’s en pizzeria’s in de buurt (enkele km) Negatief: geluid van straat (verkeer) en vliegtuigen; is wel te doen (we zijn gewoon zeer rustig te slapen); onvoldoende licht in badkamer; uitzicht op haven en bergen –goed- echter met vooraanzicht shopping en industriële accenten (kraan, …) , WiFi € 3 per uur, Tips - indien slecht te been: kamer in hoofdgebouw vragen want trappen en lichte beklimming naar huisjes; voor mooiste uitzicht best 2e of zelfs 3e verdieping vragen - huisjes herbergen ieder 2 kamers, best hoogste huisjes vragen voor mooiste uitzicht - lekker gegeten en niet duur in Olbia, Da Paolo (vanaf hoofdstraat linksaf pijl volgen) - heel tof en lekker, aan strand Pittulongu: Mama Beach

Un hôtel de très grande qualité. Très pratique la chambre quadruple avec enfant supplémentaire possible. Attention toutefois, Google maps ne donne pas le bon lieu si on cherche par le nom de l'hôtel...

Personale gentilissimo e sempre molto disponibile.Camera molto spaziosa,pulita e ben riordinata ogni mattina.Televisore con decoder Sky in ogni stanza. Colazione fornita di tutto ed in grandi quantità. E' assolutamente fondamentale avere un mezzo di trasporto di proprietà o a noleggio,poichè l'hotel rimane un pò isolato delle spiagge o dai comuni vicini(ed il servizio autobus locale non è il massimo dell'affidabilità). Lo consiglio a tutti,soprattutto a chi è in cerca di tranquillità.

We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sardinia. Close proximity to beaches (within minutes drive), staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub area was closed due to weather and repair but was to be expected in April. A nice hot tub would have been great to warm up in cold weather but luck was not with us!

Følte at vi fikk mye for pengene, men vi overnattet i april før sesongen startet Meget hyggelig og behjelpelig betjening. Fikk oppgradert rom. Madrassene var harde, ok dersom du liker harde madrasser. Frokosten var over forventningen. Vær ops på at bassenget ikke fylles opp før i mai. Vil absolutt anbefale dette hotellet.

Serviceinnsstilt og vennlig betjening. Store rom med balkong. Lite tilbud på alternative spisesteder utenom hotellets eget, som stenger relativt tidelig. Litte harde madrasser. Bra hotell i forhold til prisen, særlig dersom du kjører egen bil

Trés bel hotel de trés bonne qualité. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit; trés belle et grande chambre, super petit déjeuner. Seule petite critique: aucune chaine en francais ou en anglais a la Télé, mais bon, on s'en passe. A recommender

For en 4-personers familie var dette et bra hotell med en vennlig atmosfære. Servicen var bra jevnt over. Frokosten var noe ensformig, men likevel tilfredsstillende. Middagsmenyen var noe kjedelig og ikke det vi først og fremst vil huske hotellet for. Resepsjonspersonalet var hjelpsomme og hyggelige, og det samme gjaldt 3 av 4 kelnere. Plasseringen av hotellet i utkanten av industriområdet i Olbia er det vesentligste minuset, så det passer ikke for folk som ikke disponerer bil. Bussrutene på stedet er simpelthen ikke til å stole på, uttalt av hotellets egne folk. Men har du bil, er det lett å ta seg fram både til og fra hotellet, og de har greie parkeringsmuligheter. Dessverre opplevde vi litt variabelet bil, slik at bassenget i hovedsak var stengt, men ungene fikk seg en dukkert en av dagene. Terningkast: 5 for service etc., 3 for beliggenhet.

le camere dell'hotel sono molto spaziose, ben arredate con un'atmosfera accogliente. Pulitissimo. Gentiissimo il personale del ristorante e buona cucina. Non sono rimasta soddisfatta del personale della recepsion: poco informato e poco cortese. il resto fantastico:sia la posizione, la pulizia, l'ambiente molto curato.Lo consiglio vivamente

Das Hotel selbst erfüllt alle Erwartungen. Leider gibt es in Laufweite keinerlei Gastronomie oder sonstige touristische Infrastruktur. Ohne Auto keine Chance. Ganz Mutige könne auf der vielbefahrenen Straße 2,5 km in ein Restaurant laufen. Kein Fußgängerweg, sondern direkt auf der engen Straße. Ansonsten tolles Hotel, kann man nur empfehlen.

Cet hôtel gagne vraiment à être connu. Nous avons terminé un grand tour de la Sardaigne par un séjour dans cet hotel de 7 jours pour nous reposer d'une longue route, et cet hotel sort vraiment du lot, tant par la qualité de l'accueil (un grand merci à Rita pour son professionnalisme et parce qu'elle a fait de son mieux pour nous rendre le séjour agréable dès notre arrivée, cette femme est une perle), que par la qualité de son personnel, que par le confort des chambres. Tout y était : équipe sympathique, propreté, bon goût des plats au resto avec prix raisonnables pour la Sardaigne, petit déjeuner complet, cocktails féeriques ramenés en bordure d'une fort bien entretenue, parking gratuit. Bon emplacement pour visiter les alentours comme Porto Rotondo ou Porto Cervo. L'hotel est situé sur la même voie que le Best Western Alessandro et que le Luna Lughente, et les dépasse de loin à tous points de vue (nous avions séjourné au premier et avons visité le second... y'a pas photo, le Pozzo Sacro est nettement plus agréable, le lieu a une âme et son accès est beaucoup plus facile que les deux autres). Merci aussi à Hotels.com pour leurs prix défiant toute concurrence. A choisir sans aucune hésitation.

This hotel is amazing! The staff could not be any nice. They were always helpful. From the people who cleaned the rooms, to the front desk people, the care that goes into this hotel is amazing. I felt like home by the first day. I can't say enough about this hotel. I can't wait to go back. I just advise to get a car if you are staying there because it is a little bit out of the way from Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo.

Only stayed one night but found the room excellent very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Had a meal at the restaurant which with the 10%discount for residents proved very good value and excellent quality. only minor point is that the hotel is quite difficult to find and the tom tom sat nav didn't recognize strada panoramica. Anyone staying would need a car unless looking for a beach holiday only.
