Lovely accommodation and very easy central location. Easy to get to train station and tourist areas

Seems to be in a student area and they were a little noisy in the early part of the night. We think they had just re-started term though so may have just been ‘Freshers week’

Un 10, si volvemos a Bergen volvería a repetir alojamiento. Muy amplio, con mucha luz, céntrico, y muy acogedor. Nos ha encantado todo. El barrio muy tranquilo, al lado de la universidad, una zona preciosa.

The owners have several strict rules regarding cleanliness and damage, which are understandable. However, given these requirements, I expected the apartment itself to be properly clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival, there was a thick layer of dust under the beds, the drip coffee machine was extremely dirty and unusable, and all the dishes had to be washed before use. One of the plates still had food residue on it. The kitchen worktop was chipped, the sofa had visible stains, and we had to cover it with a blanket because we did not feel comfortable sitting on it. There was also a large amount of bird droppings on the bedroom window and a broken mirror in the wardrobe. The overall condition of the apartment was also disappointing. It really needs a major renovation: the walls had stains and peeling paint, the floor was chipped and heavily worn, and many areas showed signs of poor maintenance. The washing machine, which was advertised as part of the facilities, was not working properly. The start button was damaged and could only be activated at certain angles. I reported this to the owner, who said that the cleaner had tested it and that it worked. I provided a video showing that it did not. As I did not need to use the machine, I told the owner not to worry about it, but I expected a more helpful response. The washing machine itself was also very dirty, dusty, worn and appeared not to have been properly maintained for a long time. There was also a lot of dust behind it. Dust and dirt were present in many other places, as shown in the attached photos. Communication was also disappointing. The owner initially said I could contact him via WhatsApp, but the number provided was not registered there. After 4 p.m., I was directed to another person. After sending photos and explaining the problems, I received only a thumbs-up reaction, with no real attempt to address the issues.

It worked well for the 5 of us. Our apt was #6 so we had to do 1 flight of stairs which was awful for me as I am recovering from surgery

We found the location good.

Apartment was clean and well maintained. All necessary equipments were available for use.

We found it difficult to locate the apartment and couldn't reach anyone on the provided number at the time. A communication channel would have been supportive. We felt that the instructions on fine charges were quite overwhelming. As tourists we rent an apartment to shower and sleep in, we had to spend more time following instructions and finding clues this time, I felt. Had to scan the entire apartment for any issues ourselves so that we don't end up paying for someone else's mistake. I think this should be taken care of by the owners.

Airy, comfortable apartment, room for all 5 of us, laundry.

Because it wasn’t a hotel, we were required to make and strip the beds, and take out the garbage. The garbage bins were down the block.

The location was perfect - away from the bustle, but close enough to walk to the main area and to the train station. I appreciated the laundry facilities and that the hosts left some laundry tablets for our use. The info book from the host was great. Very informative and some great ideas in how to explore Bergen!

I am 70 years old, so after a day in town, I find it a little bit hard to walk up hill to the apartment.

Spacious and clean. Location if fine, it’s very functional.

Beds not made when we arrived, after traveling all day we then had to make the beds. I just don’t get that and it more than suggests the owners really aren’t considering the needs of the paying guests. If the apartment is being made ready for the next guests then make the beds up. It could do with some soft furnishings to make it more homely, give some warmth to the apartment.

Die Wohunh war groß, sauber und zentral gelegen. Zudem gab es einen Gepäck Raum.

Die Küche war nicht mit Salz, Öl oder Ähnlichem ausgestattet. Man musste die Betten selber be- und abziehen.

The apartment was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. There were two bathrooms, so there was no overcrowding, with plenty of privacy. The location allowed us to walk to many of the city's fine attractions. The apartment was adjacent to the University of Bergen, and out the door, up the hill to the left was a public park. A perfect oasis to decompress after a hectic day touring the city.

On the whole, Christina and Kristin were great hosts and promptly addressed many of my concerns. For example, they allowed us to access the apartment early. That is always a great relief when traveling. In addition, they have a luggage room that renters can access if needed. However, there was one instance in which the hosts did not respond promptly. But in the end, everything was resolved professionally. They assured me that any shortcomings were taken seriously and that they would make adjustments to improve the experience for future guests.

A lovely apartment in the university quarter, less than 10 mins walk from the harbour and centre. Very quiet at night. Lots of small shops and cafes nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the minimalist furnishings however a chest of drawers, shelf or coat hook in each bedroom would be appreciated.

Excellent location. Clean and well furnished with everything we needed.

Location was great. Very central. Also, sufficient room for 2 families with 2 separate bathrooms. Facilities were sufficient for our stay. Room was good as was the bed (very comfy). Instructions were detailed but easy to follow.

No hooks or cupboards or larger drawers which meant clothes were dropped on the floor or on the suitcases which was very inconvenient. Could have added a few hooks or places to hang clothes. Also, one chair was broken which should have been replaced.

Location was excellent. Place was roomy.

For $400+ per night, I would have expected bar soap and shampoo, but the place didn’t come with that. Also I I’m surprised at that price I have to make my own bed, strip the sheets, and take out the trash. For better deals elsewhere for the price.

This is an excellent location- walking distance all around Bergen and the University district. Great for larger families, especially if you can get two adjacent apartments. Comfortable living space for eating and games. Laundry facilities make it easy to pack lighter. Hosts are very good with communication. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, very nicely maintained property. Everything one needs during travel is there. Clear instructions by owner helps with keeping it clean.

Beliggenheten var veldig bra. Sentralt til sentrum.

Det var et par små ting som vi oppdaget da vi kom som var i ustand. Dette meldte vi fra om med en gang. Vi fikk raskt svar og bekreftelse. Ellers var vi meget fornøyde med leiligheten. Vi hadde et strålende opphold i Bergen.

Leiligheten er kjempefin og perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til sentrum.

Ver litt kloakk lukt inne på det ene badet. Mest sannsynlig en enkel sak og fikse med rensing av sluker, avløp og vaskemaskiner. Mangler oppheng til klær på soveromene og på badene.

Dat we half in de kelder zaten. We hadden wel daglicht maar geen zicht naar buiten. De ramen waren afgeplakt.

On top of a hill so difficult to navigate on the way back from trips. The owner wasn't great at communicating. No small teaspoons or sundries like salt, pepper, vinegar or even bottled water. It would be nice to have received some milk, bread, eggs etc. Just some small welcome bits and bobs. Otherwise, all was great.

L’appartement est bien situé, spacieux et propre

Cela manque d’équipement pour la cuisine si vous voulez cuisiner. Il n’y a que 6 assiettes, 6 verres… du coup il faut lancer un lave vaisselle pas rempli. Pas de sel, poivre.

L’emplacement proche du centre historique

Les chambres sont petites. Une fin de soirée particulièrement bruyante dans l’appartement voisin.

Thought that it was odd that you had to make your own bed. Some of the lights didn’t work - you couldn’t turn the bathroom light off.

Romslig og velutstyrt. Store bad og greit utstyrt kjøkken. God spiseplass og sittegruppe. Godt sengetøy. Veldig grei tilgang med koder, til leiligheten og til den offentlige søppelløsningen.

Manglet hårtørrer på det ene badet. Det sto igjen litt tilfeldig shampo etc. etter andre gjester på badet, men stedet ville vunnet på å investere litt i småpakninger med shampo, balsam, dusjsåpe, håndsåpe som på et hotell - ville gitt et enda bedre inntrykk.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem schönen, ruhigen Viertel in Nähe des Zentrums.

Dejlig lejlighed med central beliggenhed, men samtidig i et roligt kvarter. Den ligger i gåafstand til det hele - både seværdigheder, indkøb, restauranter mv.

Beliggenheten var bra, kort vei til sentrum og togstasjonen. Veldig greit å få nøkkelkoder til alle dører.

The location was excellent. Easy access to everything but without the noise of a tourist area. Washer and dryer were what we really required and they worked beautifully.

Not that I did not like it but people ought to know unit 3 faces south and gets quite warm. That could be great if cold out. Even though on 2nd floor it is really at street level on the living room side.
