La douche a été mal faite, le receveur de douche en ciment a été fait n'importe comment, de l'eau stagne en permanence car le creux du réceptacle est en dessous du dispositif de vidange, tant que ce ne sera pas refait entièrement, le problème persistera. Cela fait que le nettoyage est un peu douteux.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Room was reasonably comfortable and kitchen facilities adequate. Neighbourhood was nice. Too expensive, but still cheaper than most other options.
There was some noise in the courtyard at night -- someone out playing basketball around midnight, and the sound echoed horribly. Rooms weren't the best insulated, either. When the folks in the next room came in late, we could hear them talking. I saw there was a stag do heading out one night and went to ask the staff what to do if they came back loud and drunk in the middle of the night. They looked at me like I was absolutely mad.

Te kleine bedden voor twee volwassenen, ontbreken airco, veel (studenten) lawaai buiten, koude douche (eerste nacht)

The room is ideal for a single person/solo travel, but for two people is coming a little bit small, especially the bed, but on other hand we went to Dublin to spent time exploring the city and surroundings, not to stay in the room. So I wouldn't say we didn't like it, but it could be better.

The shared kitchen was clean and had good facilities, and there were toiletries in the bathroom. Considering there was a heatwave during my stay, the room wasn't excessively warm.
The cleanliness of the room could've been a bit better. There was some noise from the Luas, which is unavoidable given the location.

Our room was out the back near the bus depot and it was a little noisy early in the morning. No air con in the room and it was really hot. The double rooms are nice but the bed is a small double or even a large single.

The main thing I disliked about my stay at Highfield House was the excessive noise and partying, particularly at night. It was extremely disruptive and made it very difficult to sleep and enjoy the stay. My 13 year old daughter was harassed non stop by other guests to the point where there were boys trying to photograph her when she was sat reading in the room. I was also very disappointed with the lack of support from site management , as my concerns were not taken seriously or dealt with effectively. In fact the manager was downright rude and patronising. Although the facilities themselves were ok they were cleaned at all during my stay. I stayed 11 nights and they didn't replace our towels or give us more toilet roll until the last night! Just not good enough. Overall, the experience was far more stressful and unpleasant than I expected. Avoid at all costs!!

As camas podiam ser um pouco maiores, eram de corpo e meio e para duas pessoas ficava no limite do confortável.

Pulizia delle aree comuni praticamente nulla. La cucina in comune era impraticabile per via di qualcosa andato a male nel frigorifero, che nonostante sia stato fatto presente in reception e loro stessi hanno potuto constatare è tutto rimasto così com'era.

Someone turned off our fridges in the middle of the night so all food was hot by the morning. The booking said the room came with a TV but the TV was actually in a communal area and constantly in use by others or too awkward to use as others were in the dining space or kitchen. The distribution of thing between the communal spaces and the room was not accurately communicated and led to lots of disappointment

Bruyant , très bruyant !! . Ca braille toute la nuit. Le passage entre les bâtiments fait caisse de résonnance. Il fait très chaud dans les chambres et les portes qui claquent ne sont bruyantes. On entend le tram repartir. Pour le repos, il faudra repasser et se trouve un peu éloigné du centre si on part à pied.
