Very happy with our stay. I requested connecting rooms before the time and they always responded swiftly. The staff and hotel is exceptional. It's not a very big hotel but I will definitely stay again. The rooms were clean and spacious and bathroom was also well cleaned. The staff were always smiling friendly and always greeted when you arrive or left hotel. Breakfast had a wide variety and my whole family was pleased. Kids also loved the kiddie pool side. We had another reservation at another hotel, ended up leaving the hotel and returning to Mercure as the quality was below par esp when compared to Mercure. The location was very convenient, close to beach, main Street. My family loved the hotel.

It's a bit pricey as there were many other hotels less pricey however the quality you get was worth the price.

Although not on the beach. It is just a stone throw away.

They offered Hi tea. But when asked for more clarification. Each staff give us contradicting answer. One say need to reservations, another say, can just walk in. And when we when to the restaurant. We were told that need to wait 40 minutes. We walk out.

Only thing I didn't like was the responsiveness of the team when I told them I had forgotten my polo shirt in the room after the check out. It could not be traced even though it was right there in the cupboard and the WhatsApp number given was unresponsive

My favourite of all 4 hotels i have stayed in across malaysia. Felt cosy with a nice large bed and all the right amenties. It was great having multiple welcome drinks upon arrival while waiting a short time for my room.

The multiple light switches were a bit annoying

The room was a good size, air conditioned with a small balcony, mini fridge, kettle, nice sized bathroom and filter tap for drinking water. The breakfast spread was very good - lots of choice. The pool area was nice, plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs. They had a good value happy hour in the afternoon at the pool bar. The location was great as a base for shopping and the beach. We used the hotel booking agent for the island hopping tour - very good service and value for money.

The hotel is directly overlooking a scrap yard - not the best view but it wasn't noisy and the sea was just beyond. The whole Langkawi area seems to be having a building boom so there was lots of new buildings going up, it will probably look very different in a year or so.

Le petit personnel fait un très bon travail, heusreusement.

Les managers peu compréhensifs, une réservation pour deux adultes et un enfant s'est transformée en un adulte et un enfant pour nous faire payer un breakfast supplémentaire. La vue sur la mer est loin de la réalité. Il y a entre, un terrain vague et deux bâtiments en construction. Un centre commercial devant l'hôtel pollue au niveau sonore avec ses gros groupes de climatisation. Cerise sur le gâteau, mal de ventre tous les matins à cause d'un filtre 3M périmé censé nous dispenser de l'eau potable. Ce filtre doit être changé avant six mois d'usage. Le nôtre est vieux de ... un an! Danger réel et avéré pour notre santé. Cet hôtel ne mérite vraiment pas le sérieux qu'on espère attendre. Des hôtels deux à trois fois moins chers font mieux. Heureusement que le petit personnel est accueillant. Il faudrait remplacer le management ne serait que pour le danger du filtre périmé!!! Un vrai danger de santé!

I stayed here for 4D 3N on business which I had 3 days of buffet breakfast at their Rice Garden. As a person who works in a hospitality industry, I was extremely happy and glad to see how their breakfast team coordinated well with one another and delivering their role excellently. I could see the chefs team are interracting with guests at the buffet line, checking on the food amount if needed to be added on, the server did a quick turnover table for next guest usage, steward clearing the soiled plates fast, everyone on smiley face and I could feel the positive energy that they carried and I just have to give the credit to the management team for equipped them with proper training. I believe that without training, they were not able to do their job right. Definitely I will come back to stay with you again and now taking my family on leisure trip. Keep up the good work and performance, Mercure Cenang team!

The location is perfect. The place is clean.

The hotel was fine but there was no lights on the pool area. The customer service on reception is not that great and helpful. We booked 6 people in 2 rooms and when we got there and were made to pay extra for another bed. It was another £100 on an already expensive accomodation.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and was happy with all aspects of my stay. The stand out feature for me was the level of service that I received from the moment that I arrived and was greeted by the reception team until the very end of my stay. As an Accor member, the perks you receive vary between different hotels. I would say that I have never felt as valued as a member than I did at this hotel. My room was upgraded on check-in, there were sweet treats in the room, and my rate included a free 'power lunch'. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I would have been happy staying a week as opposed to just the two nights. The aforementioned power lunch included soup, a main course and soft drink. There is a good selection of items for the main course. I chose the Thali, which was delicious. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and the food of a good quality. The location of the hotel is perfect with Cenang Beach on the doorstep and plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby too. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel on any return to Langkawi. It was very reasonably priced for a quality stay in a perfect location.

The cleanliness of the room was not the best i had to ask the room attendant multiple times to clean the room properly. At one point I had go to reception to get the basics replaced in the room like toilet roll and clean towels. There could have been more sunbeds around the pool.

The facade of the hotel feels a little dated, but other than that, the rest of the hotel just shouts “awesome”. From the impeccable service of the staff to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, everything just made my stay wonderful. The location was really great as well

Hotel central to everything. Staff were helpful when our hot water didn’t work for the first day and a half. Moved us to another room. Pool area is relaxing and lots of shade. Happy hour cocktails were delicious and well priced.

Had a wonderful hi-tea experience at Mercure! 🌸 The buffet offered a great variety of delicious dishes, from local favourites to delightful desserts. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The ambience was cozy and relaxing, making it the perfect place to catch up with beautiful ladies over good food and great conversations. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon, and I would definitely recommend Mercure’s weekend hi-tea to anyone looking for a satisfying buffet and a pleasant dining experience. The food at Rice Garden was so delicious, so yummy that i wld return to stay here agn just for the food. Hotel location is nicely located near to beach, mall, eateries (mostly indian/arab food), Aquarium & airport. Big pool, my kids loved it.

The mattress is so soft & uncomfortable! It gave me back pain sleeping in it the next morning. The mattress is a letdown since we paid so much to have a gd night sleep that we didn't get. Pillows are soft too. Toilet shower flooded everytime we showered. Maintenance came & couldn't do anything to resolve the issue.

Great to have a gym and hotel was in centre of the resort.

Reception area very open, so when the rain and wind came there wasn’t an area to shelter. We had to then use the main restaurant.

Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen. Lähellä rantaa sekä lähellä kauppoja ja palveluita. Paikallista vettä ei voi juoda, mutta kylpyhuoneessa oli erillinen hana, josta tuli puhdistettua vettä. Aamupalalla oli tarjolla monenlaista ja moneen makuun. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelu hyvää. Uima-allasalue oli viihtyisä ja puhdas.

Room had all of what we needed, parking was available for our rented car. Most shops in Chenang are withing walking distance including the beach. The night grill buffet was my fav. Even the afternoon lunch sets are very reasonable with adequate portions. My partner enjoyed the breakfast very much as she loves vast choices.

Noting about the hotel but more so the policy of the inhouse guest. During my stay there was a group of Indian National who was playing in the pool while we were having dinner by the pool. They were playing some form of wallyball at 8pm and the staff were kind enough to inform them to be mindful but due to hotel pool operating hours there were not leaving. The hotel should keep their standards when dealing with customers like this, as they were disrupting the atmosphere for other paying customer who paid to have dinner there.

The look the cleanliness the atmosphere the smiles just everything it was my honey and these guys made jt one to never forget I was so upset to leave and I already have holiday blues and I’m only in kl langkawi and mercure combined is the ultimate holiday and my wife’s birthday was the highlight they helped me surprise her

Das Zimmer war ganz schön mit einem Ausblick zum Pool

Als wir angereist sind, hatte man uns gesagt, dass es noch ein paar Minuten dauert, bis wir aufs Zimmer kommen würden. Wir sollten an der Barplatz nehmen und würden ein Getränk umsonst kriegen.. Nachdem wir aber 30 Minuten gewartet hatten und die Checkin Zeit bereits war, gingen wir zur Rezeption, um noch mal nachzufragen, wie lange es denn dauern würde. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten bin ich noch mal zu der Rezeption gegangen, um zu hinterfragen. Wie lange es denn wirklich dauert nach uns ist noch eine Riesengruppe voller Männer angekommen und das Personal war wahrscheinlich damit erst mal ein wenig überfordert. Nach 1 Stunde warten hab ich dann endlich meine zimmerkarte bekommen, auf Nachfrage. Wann das Gepäck denn käme, nannte man mir, dass es sofort kommt. Da wir nur eine Nacht hatten, wollten wir natürlich schnell noch etwas sehen. Das Gepäck kam aber nicht. Nach 15 Minuten bin ich dann wieder runtergegangen und habe mein Gepäck selber hoch geholt. Das war ziemlich unzufrieden stellend.
