Localização perfeita, pé na areia mesmo. A dona muito simpática e prestativa (inclusive fornecedora de ganja haha). Quarto grande, limpo e com Wi-Fi. Foram dias ótimos!

Drifters es el tipo de alojamiento que reservas unas pocas noches y te gusta tanto que terminas quedandote más de lo esperado. Yo lo describiría como sencillo pero lleno de magia. Yo creo que lo más hermoso que tiene el alojamiento es su personal. Fue una amabilidad indescriptible. Gracias Stacey por siempre estar ahí para lo que fuera. El dueño, el señor Luddy tambien una persona super agradable. Te hacen sentir en familia. La habitación nuestra era privada, tenia su baño propio, muy amplia y bonita. Muy cómoda. Su ventilador de techo era sufiente para hacer sentir las noches con una temperatura comfortable. Su ubicación es IDEAL! está a menos de 2 minutos caminando a la playa y lo mejor de todo es que es una zona muy poco turistica, lo que permite disfrutar del mar para uno solo. Para los que cocinan, como nosotros, es ideal, la cocina está super bien equipada, un gran refrigerador, sin embargo nuestra habitación tenía nevera, lo que fue extremadamente útil para tener nuestra agua, cerveza y comida fresco. Su ubicación también es muy conveniente para poder ir al supermercado grande del pueblo, donde todo es mucho más económico que en las tienditas cercanas. Y solo son 20 minutos caminando o tambien se puede tomar un taxi compartido. Mejor dicho Drifters es un hospedaje ideal para los que quieren tener unos excelentes días de relax en la playa, con un ambiente muy acogedor y amigable y con las conveniencias de tener el pueblo cerca.

Excelente ubicación y trato de las personas a cargo.

Habitación muy calurosa, sin aire acondicionado, el ventilador no da abasto. Aunque a la noche para dormir el clima es un poco más agradable que lo agobiante que es de día.

Location great facilities lovely warm showers very clean well equipped kitchen endless supply of toilet paper and paper towels clean fresh bedding and towels always available! Very friendly kind staff that made me feel so welcomed! Nothing was too much trouble! The live band’s entertainment and bar and just a vibrant community atmosphere!

The parking lot could use some sand or gravel to fix the pot holes but I don’t drive so it didn’t effect me

Las duchas eran compartidas pero estaban bien de privacidad. Esta sobre la playa, solo hay que caminar unos pasos. Los he visto limpiar todos los días los pisos y los baños también, así que la limpieza excelente.

El ambiente al rededor del lugar es raro y bastante oscuro de noche. Le faltaría alguna sombrilla o algo para protegerse del sol si uno quiere estar afuera. Desde la habitación se escuchaba algo de ruido de afuera, pero nada grave.

La amabilidad del personal, hay cocina disponible y por supuesto salir y encontrar inmediatamente el mar! En la esquina hay un supermercado, en la playa hay buenos restaurantes o incluso si sales a la vía encuentras personas vendiendo pollo en sus asadores.

Super nette und liebe Gastgeberin und direkte Lage am wunderschönen Strand.. Unterkunft schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Jamaica-Sryle aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Auch eine Küche steht zur Verfügung und unser Dreibett/ Doppelzimmer hatte eine Dusche, Waschbecken und Toilette im Zimmer.

Beliggenhet rett ved stranden. Blid og hyggelig betjening. Passer best for backpackere som søker rimelig overnatting, ikke for 2 litt voksne damer, med behov for litt ro innimellom. Men stranden er fantastisk.

Min seng ubehagelig, min venninnes bedre. Litt mye bråk fra vifte og alltid folk hengende utenfor. Lite steder for å slappe av inne/ute.

Karaoke nights happen until late at night so if you're trying to get some sleep it can be a bit hard. Also the fact that they require you to wash your feet off so you don't bring sand inside the hostel/bathrooms but they also charge you to wash your feet off even tho you are staying with them 🤷‍♀️

Although it's one of the more affordable options in Negril it's still overpriced

Das Personal war super freundlich, es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Bekommst auch immer frische Bettwäsche und Handtuch. Die Lage super nur 1 Minute zum Strand und das Meer siehst du schon wenn du aus der Türe raus kommst. Und live Musik gibt es auch dort und Karaoke was immer sehr lustig ist Würde es wieder buchen.

I was staying in a two bed room, which had a fan that constantly made noise and was unsafe and eventually I couldn’t use the fan so the room was extremely hot and also the music from the live shows was too loud from that room

Location and staff are great

Drifters is my magical place and family. You arrive as a guest and (eventually) leave as family. Its a place you wanna stay longer at.

That I couldn't stay longer. Lol. Normally I'd extend the stay but couldn't this time due to other engagements.

It was amazing , felt like everyone was my family I can't wait to return. My sister was so happy everyone watched her and loved on us . Drifters will always be my go to. The owners the staff is my family now.

There was no breakfast.

Music and Party late hours (which is awesome if that's what you are looking for). Shower head missing from bathroom, broken windows. A lot of details that need attention. It is a hostel, so don't expect the Ritz!

Thank you for your hospitality and accommodation. I really enjoyed my stayed at Drifters. Special thank you to Mendez. She made my stay stress free and was always nice and respectful to the guests. The housekeeper and security guard were also very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be returning soon. One Love. ❤️

Quite a good cheap place. Great location. Only issue was no wifi available during my stay.

The location is great, on the beach side of the road. Very convenient to get downtown and to the beach. The staff are very friendly, and there is live music on premise some days. Other guests were incredibly friendly. I feel incredibly relaxed after my trip.

It has a hostel vibe, and the room is very basic. The wifi was extremely unreliable and was not working more than half the time, which does allow you to disconnect. There is no air con so the fan is going on all night

I love this place, it’s right on the beach, has a stage where live music is on most days and has a great welcoming warm friendly vibe about it. Special thanks to Fa, Honey, Mendez and Desmond and anybody I’m forgetting for making it such a fantastic place to stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

(Expensive) Knutsford Express Intercity Bus far about 3 km N. & D.T. is more close 2 km S. both of them by walking or using (Shared) Route Taxi with the Red Plate against 200 JM$. Not very big Supermarket but it has everything is very closed, but in D.T. is cheaper, and good cheap Restaurant that many locals eat there is attached. - ROOM: is as described during reservation with enough Space +4 Bunk Beds +side garden view Window +floor Fan +cloth Rack +Mirror +2 Desks & Chair. - Shared BATHRoom: is 2 large Shower rooms include Basin +warm /hot Water +Towel +good Soap Plus 3 Toilets beside another 2 Basins Plus there are 2 Toilets +2 Urinals +1 Basin +1 Shower in outdoor area to serve also the Bar. - HOTEL: is from 7 different types of Rooms at ground floor +complete shared Kitchen (Refrigerator, Oven, Microwave, and Kitchenware) +open-air Outdoor area with long seats including big Bar with life stage Music. - STAFF: is from 09-21:00 approx. but there is a security receive me at 23:30 and actually there is no Reception Plus the staff do all the activities. They are Help, Smart, don’t collect the 50% Prepayment of the total amount and 1000JM$ or/ 10 US$ as a Key Deposit Cash return at check out (I asked to return it at last night evening because I will leave early morning and they did).

- Notice: The Allocation of Hotel in “Booking’ Map is not correct, It’s about in 2 km to N. direction as mentioned in “Google” Map … I told this to their staff to modify. - Room: They changed my calm Fan with another noisy one and after complaining give me again another calm one. - Shared Shower: is without Shampoo. - Hotel: without shared TV. - Staff: The Card Payment with additional 5US$ as a fee … In my (Private) “Quadruple Room with Shared Bathroom ”, I found them check in inside it a Girl Guest and they said: It’s a “Bed-4 Mixed Dormitory Room”. I directly make a positive Chat & e-Mail with “Booking”.

Location is right on the beach, the bar and music is from mid morning to late night with some ‘live’ nights from 3pm. The staff were friendly, organised, helpful with good English and the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were simple, safe and clean.

Sleeping would be difficult for some if not using earplugs given the music is right outside the rooms. I enjoyed the music on most occasions but if you didn’t it would make it uncomfortable.

You arrive at Drifters as a guest and leave as FAMILY!! Ive stayed at numerous hotels in negril, all very nice. However, Drifters is simply Magical! I booked originally for 5 night stay but the connections and experience I had there made me extend my stay 2 more nights!!! I WILL be back! So much so, that Drifters will be tired to see my face. It’s the cheapest Hotel in Negril. It has a private beach .

They take 1000 deposit and only return it if you ask for it. Kind of hoping you’ll forget it when you leave. Also they let some guy called Eddy work there and he harasses the guests every day asking for money. First day he put some wristband on my arm and said it’s a welcome gift, then asks for money, I told him my money is in my Room and he removed the wristband again and said go get the money first. So it’s not a gift then? Next day he walks up to me and asks so what can you give me today? He should be told not to interact with guests. He should be happy he has at least the cleaning job there.
