Private, emmersive, quiet, clean... friendly.
Cold pool, no enjoyable beach swimming, food was just ok. We expected better for the price.
Excellent food, service and location
Henri pool was a bit dirty
הכל
It was just OK. Not a huge selection. Average.
Servers better trained. Bring 2 menus for 8 people. Ask for a desert menu. Constantly.
Clean, luxurious
Some villas are super high climbing, air conditioner not powerfuk enough.
staff friendly and made effort
very very inconvenient location, room/villa very hard to get to (funiculaire - adding 10mins just to move to breakfast), very cumbersome access to get to El Nido. Facilities/villas very dated and not as clean as they should be. Overall disappointing!
The rooms are good
The drive to the hotel is awful , the beach you cannot swim , you have to take a boat to a beach , I don’t know why they don’t use water taxis to a beach !! The breakfast is really bad , tiny bit of fruit ,it was mango season and never saw a mango ! The bar you have to pay for peanuts or any type of snack! One evening we heard a man walking around our apartment and woke us up scared ! Phoned security and they didn’t check and when I phoned again, they said it was maintenance - at 3 am !!! No apologies!!
Anytime you wanted something the butlers were quick to respond
le personnel

Utsikten fra rommet var fenomenal. Det var nok glass og rene håndklær. Sengene var veldig komfortable. Butler servicen.
Staffs, cleanliness & peaceful
Some of the staff in the restaurants and the boat crew were very friendly and very good with our children. We like the views from the pool/restaurant area.
This stay was deeply upsetting for our family. After travelling such a long distance (from the UK) with young children, we expected safety, cleanliness, and basic quality — none of which were delivered. Until major changes are made, particularly regarding water safety and management standards, we would not recommend this resort. Sadly, it fell far below acceptable standards, particularly given the price point (£1000 per room per night) and expectations. Breakfast was very poor, with little choice and a noticeable lack of fresh ingredients. Fruit was often brown and unappetising, and no fresh options in general. Food at both restaurants was consistently disappointing. Sandwiches were cold and not freshly made, pasta was undercooked and lacked flavour. Henri’s restaurant for New Years Eve Feast was atrocious, completely failing to meet even basic expectations and shockingly overpriced for what was offered. The buffet very limited choice, and food was soggy, cold, and poorly prepared. Hygiene & Water Safety - Multiple guests became unwell during our stay. We ourselves became sick and strongly suspect the water was the cause. The water had a noticeable smell, and although we did not drink it, even brushing teeth and showering felt unhygienic and unsafe. Management did not take responsibility and instead blamed guests for eating outside the resort, despite many guests experiencing the same symptoms. The following day they also failed to change our bedlinen when requested. The resort urgently needs to test and fix its water system. This is not a minor issue, it is a serious health concern. Facilities & Atmosphere - The area around the pool was far too small for the number of guests. There were only around six loungers, resulting in daily competition and frustration. Large standalone industrial fans in the restaurant were huge and blocked views.
The staff was amazing and beautiful property! The other resorts we stayed on provided a more luxurious experience for the fraction of the cost!
Although great property I don’t think is great value for money. We had to get climb quite a bit of stairs to get to our room and it was rainy season so roads where inaccessible so you have to wait on the boat to be ferried back into town!
Great views
It’s a bit out of the way, and just not the greatest hotel, missing the wow factor tbh
View from the facility, and butlers were very helpful.
Restaurant, service, and food quality are below expectations for exceptional accommodation.
Załoga była zaangażowana i pomocna. Wille sprzątane dobrze.
Jedzenie słabe i to jest duży problem bo gdziekolwiek sie wybrać to duży problem, gdyż wszędzie daleko. Najpierw trzeba jechać drogą którą dowożą auta terenowe a później np.skuterem albo autem z resortu do El nido.
Beautiful, secluded, exquisite.

The villa we stayed in was quite big and luxurious with amazing views! The service we received from our butlers Kenneth and Angelo were superb!
The funicular to the villas which are perched higher on the cliff were out of order so we had to walk up and down those steep long stairs which was exhausting. The pool was out of order the first night we got there. My friend got scratched on a coral and the nurse from the hospital should have given her antibiotics or a tetanus shot as she eventually got a bad infection days later.
Absolutely beautiful. Spacious villas and good food.
The traveling to the town was not always convenient.
Superb-amazing location. Close to the city but still isolated and quiet. The villas are spacious and often cleaned or refreshed. Staff are very accommodating and will take a good care of all you needs. One of the best hotel we’ve been in the Philippines
Nothing

Everything was just amazing
Everything
Really i like the hotel because of our Buttler (Anne ) She’s outstanding-customer service and always around us for everything The view hotel its fantastic and also the food Location is nice
Very nice rooms, ours with a magnificent sea view, amazingly helpful staff.
Not easy to reach by van: road needs to be upgraded to concrete or asphalt.
Right at the hills overlooking the water and islands
The refrigerator wasn’t cool and we couldn’t change the setting to make it cooler. We caught Traveler’s Diarrhea I think from infected food or water (ice).
Very accommodating and friendly staff. A+++ communication and service. Very clean resort and villas.
Staff
The resort
The view and atmosphere was amazing. Staff was incredible as well. We said, "this is so beautiful" at least 10x a day.
This is not a hard negative, but a consideration for those traveling with elderly or anybody with health concerns. Getting to and from the room was difficult BUT to get the views, you have to be up the mountain. The funicular is the easiest way, but it's shared and moves slow. Stairs are great for the fit.
Beautiful property! Great service! Great amenities! Serene and peaceful here ;) thanks for a wonderful vacation!
Our family had a relaxing and memorable stay at Lihim Resorts. What stood out most about the resort was the epic sunset seen from Henri's Restaurant, and the private Hayag beach resort - but many things stood out during our stay. From our group which included seniors and kids, everyone had a relaxing experience. The staff were super friendly every step of the way, and at every touch point (airport, welcome entrance, dining, bar, pool), and available any time you need them. What really stood out were our private butlers, Ken and Vic, who ensure each day had a great itinerary and a seamless experience. They were super responsive to any family member's needs and really helped make our stay comfortable. We stayed in the Bucana Rooms, which were exceptional. The views were amazing and the entire terrace with the rooms felt quite secluded. Bonus that there was a mini pool for the kids to keep cool. The bathrooms were as advertised in the pictures and one of the best parts of the room. The air-conditioner was cool as can be which was a bonus for us. Car service to move around the property (and into town) was always readily available with a quick text to the butlers. From the amazing sunset, to the chill and quiet pool, and incredible service - Lihim Resorts helped make our stay in El Nido a trip to remember!
Fantastic location, facilities and service. The service was impeccable!
Very secluded and difficult to get to. If you want to disappear and not explore outside the resort, then this is for you. Otherwise the effort it took to get to the resort isn't worth it. So many steps to get anywhere within the resort. The views are immaculate and the service was great!
perfect
Breakfast was good but not great. Service and friendliness of staff and their training was first class. The food was too heavy with insufficient light choices or there needed to be greater selection in the light choices such as fruit, yoghurt, cereals, etc. Butler service was attentive and very responsive and super friendly. If anything the WhatsApp communication was a little too much; you kept feeling you had to keep referring to your phone which is not the purpose of a vacation in my book. The outdoor bar at Henri's was superb as was the spa treatment at Panari Spa
The resort looks a little old and tired in some parts and appears in need of maintenance. Also, the view from Gana at high tide was great but not so at low tide. Hard to know what to suggest to fix this but it does spoil the vibe a little. Whilst the villa was great, the need to keep going outside to access the refrigerator was weird and a minor hassle
The location was perfect. The view, private pool, and staff were highlights of the trip. That plus the privacy. We rarely saw other guests if we didn’t want to.
In spite of them asking at the beginning and we telling them when ordering food, they gave us things with nuts (which my wife is allergic to) TWICE. The first time we caught it on time, they apologized, replaced the dish, and gave us free drinks. The second time we didn’t catch it in time and my wife had a reaction which ruined our last night there. They insisted the cheesecake didn’t have any nuts, but there must have been some nuts in the base of the cheesecake. The staff was very apologetic and did their best. I blame the chef for not knowing what allergens are in the food they make. If my wife’s allergies were worse, that could’ve killed her. For a place this expensive I expected MUCH better.
Unique seclusion from other guests and amazing butlers
Space and amenities
There were cockroaches
The location of the this resort was amazing! Secluded and only available for guests as it is nestled away from the hustle and bustle. 5 star service from our butlers Mars and Neil - they went beyond our expectations and the service/food and secenry was breathtaking- looking to visit again next year for my birthday.

Amazing view from the villa, great amenities and impressive room and bathroom. Butlers assigned to us were very helpful and responsive.
Nothing, everything was great!!!
The beautiful setting & spacious villa. The view from Henris at sunset.
The food was very poor and of a 3 star standard. Breakfast was really disappointing. Even basic eggs or an omelette are inedible. Resort lacks ambience. Funicular out of service means you rely on cars a lot. Staying in a secluded 5 star resort Id expect top notch dining facilities and all items on the menu to be available but many fish dishes were unavailable.
Gorgeous resort in a more private, quiet spot in front of the el nido bay area. Still close to El nido town however will need to use a boat or car from the resort to get into town. Alternatively you can rent a bike from the resort for the day to explore which we find quite easy and affordable. I love how peaceful and beautiful the design of the villas are. All the staff are so friendly and all know your name. Felt like a very exclusive resort where you tend to find more couples at this resort than families or kids. You get a 24 hr butler assigned to you who looks after you your whole stay, anything you need you can just message them and they organise for you. We had Ching and Jude look after us for our 3 nights there. They were both so helpful, friendly and really responsive. If we needed anything it was organised straight away. Our butler delivered a plate of filipino small desserts every night which was such a nice touch. Along with other complimentary items in our stay we got free airport transfers, complimentary 30 min massage, Buffett breakfast every morning, bottle of wine and Fruits. This resort is so comfortable and enjoyable stay for relaxing.
Can't fault anything about this resort its perfect.
Our villa, Duli, top notch quality. The staff especially Neil and Eunice our butlers, Ray, Nicky, Angelo, and Jovelyn from food service treated us very well. The security guard on the night we wanted to go to the town, he walked us out to the road where there are lights with his flash light. I forgot to get his name. The spa, Pamela and Erika for making our therapy so special. Our island hopping tour guide, Rio, making the whole experience memorable and wonderful.
The stairs and a lot of bugs although we understand we’re kind of the middle of a jungle
Service was beyond superb. Everything done with a smile and graciousness. The views from Henri, their onsite restaurant were magnificent with the most stunning of sunsets.
View from our Villa was fantastic.
Our villa was high up the hill so every time we needed to go to the restaurant or any part of the resort we had to call for a ride. Did not like the carbon footprint of having 4x4s ferrying guests to and from their Villa’s. Resort is not suitable for the very young or the old ones. Personal butler experience was a bit lacking. One of our assigned butler, who met us at the airport and dropped us off, lacked personal touch and barely spoke to us. Most of the communication with her was just thru the what’s up messaging.
The location is very good and close to town and airport
Bathroom shower the water is weak
Butler service was very good. Shout out to Ellie and Angelo. You're the best! The sunset at the rooftop of Henri's was amazing. The rooms were good too.
The beach wasn't good for swimming and the pool was very small.
The butler service was probably the best part. And the roof top is nice to visit as you can see beautiful sunset for my there!
The transfers aren’t included. The town was 10/15 mins away and the journey itself was a bit rough as the rods which leads to the main road is very bumpy. Too many flies were found in our room. Breakfast choices were limited. Not so great.
I recently had an amazing stay at Lihim Resort with my husband. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, pleasant, attentive, and professional. Their warm welcome set the tone for the entire stay. The attention to detail and internal coordination were impressive. We were greeted upon arrival and after each boat trip with drinks and fresh cloths, which added a special touch to our experience. Our was immaculate and offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape. We stayed around at a Villa with a decent treck up a natural exterior staircase, but worth it for the privacy and views! I highly recommend Lihim Resort to anyone looking to stay in Palawan. It’s also close to el Nido and the perfect location for Island hopping.
No direct access to a beach, but perfect for Island Hopping and incredible views. Definitely worth the location.
My stay at Lihim Resort was an unforgettable experience. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exceptional dining, outstanding service, and breathtaking surroundings makes it a perfect destination for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat. I highly recommend Lihim Resort to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in a little slice of paradise. Shout out to Mark, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Tour Guide! Shout out to Hannah, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Lihim Resort Butler! In conclusion, Lihim Resort exceeds all expectations, delivering a unique and enchanting experience that will leave you longing to return. Five stars is not enough to capture the magic of this remarkable resort.
Everything! Exceptional help from our butler Claudia who made our stay extra special! We spent every evening at Henris watching the sunset. We just could not get enough. We had a villa with pool and enjoyed the privacy and the incredible view from the villa over the bay at all times. We hope to come back!
Beautiful grounds, great service.
It’s too far from town, it can get really expensive paying for transfers to and from town. It was so out of the way that it was hard for tricycles to get there and the roads to it are really rough, you basically need a truck to get into and out of the property. It’s great if you want isolation but we wanted to explore so it was definitely out of the way.
Accommodation excellent Sunset at henris amazing
Difficult to get to town Activities overpriced
Everything was perfect, location, staff, facilities, views!
Slightly outside of town but they do transfers to town
Small boutiquey hotel with large villas. Nice and quiet and really peaceful. Walking distance from El Nido town. Great chefs and great service from the butlers.
Needs a bit more maintenance but it’s not at the “end of the world” level. You might also get some bugs in your room but that’s expected for a resort in the trees.
Absolutely stunning views. Our villa was huge and really beautiful - even nicer than it looks in the photos. Henri’s was amazing too (the view, and the food was really great too) - highly recommend. Lovely staff all round - very friendly and polite, and fantastic with our kids.
Whilst the location makes for the beautiful views, it’s also hard to get around. Every time we wanted to leave the villa (not the resort - just our villa!) we had to arrange a car ride. I found this inconvenient, especially with young children. We also found the resort’s drivers unreliable when we left the resort with them (eg told they’d be waiting for us, but actually they left and we’d wait another 30 mins for them to return again - this was a real problem for us with small kids in the heat). This really needs to improve given the premium price they charge for the driver/trip. The isolation / inability to leave the resort independently also means the resort charges extortionate prices for tours etc (… 2-3x the price charged for the exact same tour by operators in town). We were also quoted p7000 for a roundtrip to a beach 15 mins away - insane by usual Philippine standards
The villas were lovely, really spacious, with great bathroom. The restaurant was nice and Henri"s bar was great. We were really lucky to be in a villa at the bottom, it would have been a nightmare climbing the many steps to get up to the ones on the hill, or asking for a car every time. Free transfers to and from and airport were great. Claudia and Eunice our butlers were lovely, and very quick to respond in most cases to our messages. Breakfast was ok, but again I wouldn't say up to other 5 star places we have been on this trip. The beds are super comfy, but quite small, with only two of us in one room the second bed wasn't really required, we'd have preferred one larger bed.
We were really expecting an incredible hotel for the amount of money we paid, and were a little disappointed. The staff were nice, but the buttler service seemed a bit unnecessary. We actually found it quite irritating having to ask for basic in room things to be done every day, like cleaning, refreshing water, coffee mugs etc. This would just happen in other places. There were quite a few things in their literature and on their ads that weren't available to us, such as wine tasting, and the telescope at Henri's. We also found bugs in our bed, which the staff were great at responding to, but still... $700aud, and bugs in your bed is not really good enough. The pool area is very small, with only 6-7 sunbeds which were incredibly uncomfortable, they also had the worse sun umbrellas which would blow in the wind, and hit us on multiple occasions. The pool also needs a good clean, they were constantly getting large leaves out which was great, but there were so many small bugs and floating bits when you got in...just not 5*. Whilst we were there the water also turned off for quite some time, so we couldn't have showers or flush the toilet. The landscaping was pretty basic, the decking to the villas was uneven and a little dangerous in places and the general impression of the place I think needs to be uplifted to suit the $$$ you pay.
The hotel is located in the main island of El Nido so it was possible to go to El Nido town during the day or evening. The room was very nice, very spacious and the bathroom with a natural exterior shower was lovely. The butler service is very good. They catered to all our requests even before arriving at the hotel. The staff was also very responsive to all communication before and during our stay. The spa was very good as well. My partner had a very bad sunburn and after 1 treatment at the spa, his sun blisters were all gone! View of the sunset at Henri's bar was stunning!!
I would say that the value for money in this hotel is not the best. The spread for the breakfast buffet is a little bit thin compared to other 5* hotels in the Philippines. You also have to pay for extra activities exclusive to the hotel and the costs a lot more expensive than other providers from outside the hotel , .e.g going to their exclusive lounges, island tours...For the price we have paid, I would've also expected more amenities to be offered to the guests, such as shuttle transfers (shuttle transfers to El Nido town is an added cost each time). We also had a water shortage on our last day and had to take a shower and use the bathroom of the spa located at the ground floor which was a bit of a hassle.
This is the best resort in El Nido. The staff was amazing. The food was good. The restaurant has the best view possible. And we have access to a private beach and private lagoon.
The smell around the swimming pool and pool restaurant is horrible. They filter their own water which make the water safe for ice cubes for example but the treatment facility is near the pool and gives a horrible smell.
The staff are really nice. Food in the pool restaurant is also very good. Breakfast is nice although very limited options, but what they have, it tastes good. The view from the villa in the mountain was amazing, also it is very pretty from the pool area. The hotel and the rooms decorations are very beautiful. Our butlers did their best to make us feels confortable during our stay and they are incredibly nice and kind, although you can feel the situation sometimes is not easy for them when they can’t provide quick access to your room or things break.
The hotel is behind a mountain, which means the only way in and out is with their transfers in 4x4, that are absurdly expensive. There is a 3 min path through the forest to a point where a tricycle can pick you up, but you need to call them ahead. The description in booking is not accurate, there is no 6 min walking to el nido, it is more 15 min tricycle + 3 min walking. I would have loved to know this in advance, we travel with kids and would have chosen an easier option. The premium villas are up the mountain, you need to go by funicular, which sometimes is not working due to maintenance issues, if not working, you have to get a car up to your villa, both things you should plan ahead, the funicular operator is not always there, neither the cars. Also the funicular is not working early in the morning. The breakfast is supposed to start at 6 am, which is a reasonable hour if you are planning to go to a tour, but the 3 days that we went at that time, not everything was ready. They picked us up from the airport with a pick up, the luggage was behind in the open and arrived completely covered in dust, the butler tried to clean it but it wasn’t easy. There are several things in the villa that weren’t working properly, like hair dryer, really bad smell in the toilet, dirt in the curtains… but those were small issues, the main issue we had is that in our last night our rooms were full of bugs, they were everywhere and it was impossible to sleep like that with bugs crawling over us, so we moved to a much smaller villa down the mountain and they gave us a discount due to the downgrade. The discount was nice and the staff did their best with the situation, but we lost more than 1 hour trying to kill the bugs to sleep there and also in the morning we had to review all the clothes in the luggage and remove the dead bugs after the fumigation. The pool toilets are out of order and you need to go to a first floor.
Staff were extremely friendly, the resort offers a relaxing environment, Henri’s has the most amazing view and food was exceptional. Luxury at its best!
Very good breakfast
Lift to the room broke, 5 stories up the mountain. Not ideal with young kids. If you were elderly, you would be in trouble.
Service is very nice
Location is to far from the city center. Very low water pressure in the shower
Luxury services. The private place they have for lunch at Cadlao Lake is the most beautiful thing we saw in El Nido. And maybe the world.
Everything is ultra expensive and they charge for things that could be included in an already high daily rate
The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. Nice seating area and a large-screen TV in the bedroom. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Quiet area, away from the hustle bustle of El Nido town proper. Nespresso machine in the room. My butler Ching was really thoughtful and brought me a few little sweet treats from the kitchen a couple of times, and they were delicious! Someone mentioned the pool was small, but the truth is that I never saw anyone using it or the lounge chairs, so I'd say it's probably enough.
The only thing included is a breakfast of a 3-star utilitarian hotel. The breakfast options are extremely limited and what I see roadside hotels like Wyndham serve. Of course at Wyndham that's a good breakfast for $150/night. At $650/night in SE Asia, the breakfast Lihim serves is a sad joke. The huge tub which was one of the selling points for me was unusable; it was grimy when I arrived, and after they cleaned it I still couldn't use it because it was leaking and impossible to fill up (also, the shower hose was broken). Their private island is accessible only by boat, for which they charge $110. One of the night my room stank of sewage. There are no stairs to climb out of the water onto the floating pier, so if you have mobility issues or lack the arm strength to pull yourself out, this may be an issue.
The staff provided exceptional customer service & went above & beyond to ensure we had an amazing vacation. The location was beautiful, food was great & wonderful excursions. My husband & I renewed our vows & surprised our family. It was on the rooftop of Henri’s at sunset followed by dinner. The staff worked with me every step of the way & provided support & suggestions to make our special event perfect!
