AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

The hotel looked amazing. Very clean very sterile. which was right across the street however we have to walk about 1 mile to get to their chairs and umbrellas. It also was very difficult for us to prove that we belonged with the very large resort fee. The person at the beach did not believe what we said that we had the right and it took 20 minutes for them to confirm. At that point, we just left.

The customer service rep at the counter, was quite rude and condescending on more than one occasion. Multiple customer service reps were very short, you could tell they did not like their job and they treated the guest that way. The breakfast was not very good and not very hot and they charge $25 a person. The pool area on the fourth floor was not very clean and there were a lot of people for such a small pool.

Breakfast and the location was perfect

I didn’t like that there was construction going on and they didn’t take the time to inform me. My vacation was for rest and relaxation and I didn’t get any of that. By 8:30 in the morning the noise started from the construction crew.

Service was amazing, we had a fantastic time here. Robert from the lobby bar was very kind and attentive and all staff were always eager to help.

Wide, comfy rooms, the balcony was a nice bonus. Loved the complementary coffee in the lobby. They also offered beach towels and a beach bag for use during the stay. Breakfast was good , though a little pricey - $30/person. They also offer $15 credit ( per room) to use against food or beverages from the bar.

The bathroom door did not have a lock, which wasn't very comfortable for us. Our time at the pool wasn't relaxing at all, as it wasn't very clean and was very noisy due to the construction on the 6th floor.

We loved the location! The staff was super friendly. Our toilet was broken and after failing to fix it they offered to move us to a new room right away. We loved riding the bikes provided each morning to explore more of Las Olas!

Unfortunately the pool was closed so we had to travel to a different hotel nearby. We were not notified of this before we got there.

I’ve taken my time to respond to the survey to gather my thoughts. The hotel itself is nice however, we were not notified that we would not have access to the pool on-site and while we were told the other hotel pool we had access to was next door, as well as, access to the beach chairs they were actually two full blocks away, which was difficult for my elderly mother with mobility issues. On top of that, only one elevator was sometimes working and, considering the capacity of the hotel guests and workers, all of whom had to share the one elevator, I had to use the stairwell multiple times from the 8th floor. My husband on the way up the stairwell was advised by a worker that he should join a gym. The hotel is clearly still under renovations and we were nearly run over in the hallways as well by workers. While my sister and my father respectively were given compensation for the inconveniences, when I went to the front desk to express that I was disappointed and not satisfied with the accommodations I was dismissed with a sorry. Parking at $60 a day, breakfast at $30pp, and $30 a beach umbrella felt like we were being nickel and dimed for an already expensive hotel stay in a room advertised as ocean view from which we had to stick our heads out the balcony felt like a scam through and through. For charging like a luxury hotel, it was not a luxury experience.

Robert at the bar was amazing and Julian the engineer came to help fix my room and he aswell was so sweet and amazing! I recommend this hotel to first time goers to Florida this was our first time and because of them it won't be my last!!

The hotel is very nice and the location is good but the pool is under construction, only one elevator works. They charge you $61 per day for valet parking and $30 mandatory destination fee per day. So add $90 to the hotel price per night.

Enjoyed my stay staff was very helpful and friendly especially Anita. I definitely will return to this establishment.

Stayed one night pre-cruise. The rooms were clean but the lights did not work other than the bathroom. A basic room that charged a resort fee. We enjoyed Casablanca Cafe located outside the hotel for happy hour and breakfast. Next time I would stay closer to Lulus bait shack and all the local restaurants and shops that were walking distance.

Location :15-20 min drive from the airport across the street from the beach dining options walking distance -6-10min drive down town rooms are clean specious and comfortable -fridge -safe box-iron board-but not much closet space-beautiful lobby -coffee station 24/7 awesome-bars at lobby and pool ok-pool small but pretty and beautiful views -food ok-staff is kind - beds ok pillows could be better- they have 2h free bikes great morning thing to do- valet parking $$- so for short stays with good price it is an excellent choice beach was nice and clean too 15 min drive is Lauderdale by the Sea very cute area to visit

It was nice, clean, spacious and away from the downtown chaos. I LOVED the outdoor patio for the restaurant/bar! Super nice and attentive server/bar tender.

There isn’t a parking lot on location so we had to rely on valet services and we didn’t know where our vehicle was to get things out that we had left in there. I would have liked a mirror with an electric outlet close outside of the bathroom so I could fix my hair while other family members took showers. That’s just a “me” problem though.

Anifra was super helpful. She got me in an upgraded room and even got me checked in earlier. The property is lovely and you’re right on the beach. Definitely wanna have nicer hotels for that price range.

Their customer service is terrible and we had people next to us that were extremely loud for about an hour from 11pm to midnight. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. Call again and the same thing.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted kindly by the front desk. They were so helpful and prompt checking me in! I stayed for 3 nights and had breakfast twice, which was delicious both days. I’m grateful for the complimentary lobby coffee available at all times too. The breakfast attendant was nice and friendly. The pool atmosphere was so relaxing. Collin was our bartender and she was so so sweet and made delicious drinks. The AGM Albert was so great, we saw him a few times and enjoyed his presence and good conversation. All in all I will be coming back to stay here. The location is perfect, just a crosswalk away from the beach! The hotel also smelled so great, in the rooms and the lobby. Thank you all for your hospitality!

Wow….. This hotel needs to better train their employees…. As someone who worked in hospitality for many years and travels frequently around the world with my family, I was honestly shocked by the experience we had at this hotel’s front desk with LIN and PAULA. From the moment we approached the desk, there was absolutely no warmth or professionalism. Instead of a simple “Good evening, welcome” or even a polite “May I please see your ID?”, the first thing said to us was simply: “Do you have an ID?” — cold, dismissive, and unfriendly. Things only got worse when I explained we didn’t yet have a reservation. Both employees visibly rolled their eyes, and without even properly checking, immediately told us the hotel was sold out. When I mentioned I could clearly see availability online, the response was simply: “Well, book online.” The attitude, facial expressions, and body language throughout the interaction were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know that this kind of guest treatment would never have been acceptable. At one point, the room rate was mentioned in a tone that felt extremely condescending — almost as if assumptions were being made about whether we could afford it. It was honestly uncomfortable and unnecessary. The next day - the elevator went into the 2nd floor, an employee (lady) entered to elevator without saying a simple “good morning” like if that would be enough - when we got to the lovby she rapidly went from the back to the elevator pushing everyone (including my stroller) like wait, what!!!????? That is basics on politeness, when I told her that guests come always first she looked at me clueless with an “oops” face not even an apology. Literally the worst hotel service I have encountered in the past few years. We travel extensively and share our experiences with a large audience online, and sadly this was one of the least welcoming hotel arrivals we’ve experienced. Hospitality starts at the front desk, and unfortunately this experience completely failed in that regard.

Anitra at the AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach is seriously the best. She’s always so friendly, helpful, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what she does. Every interaction with her makes the stay better. The hotel is lucky to have her!

Everything about this hotel is the best starting with one of the Managers Anitra! What a professional! She was intuitive and always a step ahead of us. We would go back just for her!

They cancelled us due to their overbooking. Sent us to a “sister hotel” Not even a Marriott! Home to Suites by Hilton. Had to drive 30 min back and forth to be with our friends.

They compensated us but mislead us as to what we were getting. Ruined our trip to be with our friends!

Die zentrale, aber trotzdem ruhige Lage. Der freundliche Service der Mitarbeiter beim Empfang, Zimmerservice, beim Frühstück oder beim valet parken. Wir hatten keinerlei Schwierigkeiten. Das Frühstück war frisch und wurde auch immer wieder aufgefüllt. Besonders schön war der Sonnenaufgang, den wir vom Bett aus genießen konnten und der Ausblick vom Balkon auf den Beach.

Die Liegen am Pool waren begrenzt und wurden leider mit Handtüchern reserviert. Hier würden wir uns wünschen, das hier mehr darauf geachtet wird, dass jeder Gast die Möglichkeit bekommt entspannen zu können.

Robert was an absolute pleasure. Stayed here the last few nights he was a fantastic bartender. Very personal, makes a good drink and is just a nice guy. I looked forward to seeing him every night. Fantastic guy to have at this property. Well done Robert!

I had such a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale and felt like I stumbled upon a true hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the valet staff set the tone for the entire experience, they were incredibly fast, attentive, and genuinely kind. They opened doors, greeted me warmly, and made me feel welcome right away. It’s those little touches that really elevate a stay, and they absolutely delivered. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were sleek and comfortable, with a minimalist style that still felt cozy and relaxing. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, the spacious shower, and how quiet everything was, it made it easy to unwind after a long day. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop area, which offered beautiful views and a great atmosphere to relax. The location is also a big plus, close enough to the beach and local spots but tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and not overcrowded. Overall, everything about this hotel, from the friendly valet team to the stylish rooms and relaxing vibe—made my stay memorable. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale!

Great Hotel by every measure. The Staff are so professional and caring. The answer is, "YES!" to every request. Nothing is a problem for them. The rooms are huge and spotless, and quiet, even though you are in the middle of everything. Our room had a massive terrace/balcony perfect for lounging overlooking the sea. And the breakfast buffet was classic European with at least 100 options that you might find the the best European hotels. I have found my hotel in Ft Lauderdale from now on.

Do atendimento da recepcionista da manhã do dia 17 , ligaram para o quarto às 7 da manhã e perguntamos na recepção quem teria ligado aquele horário, pois estávamos cansados e acordamos com um susto, falou que não foi no turno dela e ela não conseguia ver, com muita má vontade. No dia 18 saímos do hotel às 6 da manhã e a recepcionista falou para pagar sem apresentar o fechamento da conta, passamos o cartão e como não dominamos o inglês que eu acho super normal, perguntamos se ela falava espanhol , ela disse que não e tinha algumas palavras que não estávamos entendendo, pegamos o Google translator e mostramos para ela , ela respondeu pelo Google translator e passou para nós e saiu da recepção e nos deixou um tempo esperando, estávamos com presa pois tínhamos um vou para o Brasil, demorou um pouco ela voltou e daí apresentou a conta ,a conta veio errado pois ela pediu para pagar antes de conferir, era duas diárias do estacionamento, pois alugamos o carro e devolvemos no dia 17 às 18 horas , sentimos que estava com muita má vontade, depois falou que ia estornar 1 diária do estacionamento no meu cartão. Ficamos bem decepcionados pois um hotel desta categoria, não pode acontecer este tipo de inconveniente. Às vezes não entendemos algumas palavras em inglês, que eu acho muito normal , mas percebemos que tem certas pessoas que acham que deveríamos falar igual um lorde inglês, do mesmo jeito que eu me esqueço algumas palavras, vocês também quando vem no meu país, também não conseguem intender tudo e pelo que conheço aqui no meu Brasil, os recepcionistas são bem atenciosos e procuram ajudar e não ficam bravo, pois eu tenho uma empresa e sei que o cliente é o rei ,a razão daquilo existir . Hoje com toda esta tecnologia e nos USA , principalmente na Flórida que tem grande maioria de pessoas que falam o espanhol, pelo menos estes dois idiomas as recepcionistas deveriam falar, fora que tem os translators.

Reported what appeared to be several spots of BLOOD on the sheets. Lack of urgency from management. Shocked and appalled by smug arrogance of GM and Sales Manager made us question other sanitary/safety protocols at hotel. GM’s flaccid offer of $100 credit and waived cancellation fees if we left were underwhelming and offensive. Rude and argumentative team—-seemed more concerned about other guests hearing about the possible biohazard than having housekeeping remove the item and investigate. Left after only 12 hours. Will never return. Terrible reflection of Marriot. First negative review ever written—-possible BLOOD in the room is DISGUSTING and management made an uncomfortable situation worse.

We loved our stay at AC Marriott!! Easy check in and she informed us of all the hotel amenities!! The sun deck and pool was nice, but the sun disappears around 1:30 pm so go early!! Excellent cocktails at the bar!! We tried the turkey club by the pool and it was really fresh and tasty!! Anitva at reception made dinner reservations for us at Casablanca next door and the food and service was excellent!! The room was spacious and had floor to ceiling windows in the corner suite!! Loved the walk-in shower with a rain water feature!! Overall we had a relaxing stay! The beach is a short walk and we enjoyed the Ritz beach privileges as well.

Two nights stay following a cruise. Found this to be a great hotel positioned right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, close to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and our room on the top floor (10) looked as though it had been recently refurbished and had a great shower and plenty of space, a huge TV and great Wi-Fi. Coffee is available in the reception/lounge area and there are facilities to make your own in the room. We liked the staff in the hotel - reception were very efficient and helpful.

Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I was told I had to pay a $40 daily fee for my service animal, which is illegal. At checkout, when I confronted the front desk, they tried to claim my dog wasn’t a service animal—even though I had all proper documentation. When the manager got involved, he said he would remove only two nights of charges and still make me pay for the remaining night. I refused, explaining it violated their own policy, and only then did they agree to remove all the fees—while giving me major attitude. It didn’t end there. As I headed to my car, an employee ran up saying they “forgot” to charge me for valet and needed to print a new bill. I checked the previous bill and saw that none of the dog fees were actually removed and I had been charged for every night. When they returned with the new bill, it suddenly included three nights of valet, even though I only used two. When I pointed out both bills were wrong, the staff member insisted, “the valet said it’s three nights, so it is what it is.” I had to provide proof that I parked on the street the first night before they finally corrected it. All this happened while I was trying to get to the airport, and at no point did anyone apologize for the repeated mistakes or the inconvenience. Instead, they had the valet hand me the corrected bill rather than walking it back to my car themselves. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were rude, uninformed, and careless. I will never stay here again and absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Plus the lighting in the bathroom was horrible..it was so bright I couldn't even turn it on.

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Marriott Fort Lauderdale. The breakfast was simply delicious and exactly what we needed to start our day. A special thank you to Simona, who was incredibly helpful and friendly—she truly made us feel welcome. The pool on the 4th floor was very cozy with an amazing view, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would happily stay here again!

Nice hotel and great location. Simple restaurant and bar. Nice gym and pool. Pool gets shady early around 1 in Jan and is small but refreshing. Next door to Casablanca Restaurant. Service was very good. Didn’t love the pool towels they give you but no big deal. Daily credit was $15 not $30 which we read. I would come back for sure.

I recently stayed at the AC Hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach. I’ll start by saying Cathy, the front desk agent, was fantastic on my arrival. But I want to start this review at the end of my trip and then come back to the beginning. I departed the hotel on Monday morning in an UBER to the airport. Upon my arrival at the airport, I realized that I left my backpack outside at the front of the hotel. I immediately called the hotel, and Kiara, the front desk agent, answered my call and went to look for my backpack. To my surprise and delight, she found the backpack that was in front of the hotel and told me that she had secured it. I immediately went back and retrieved my backpack. I was kind of shocked to find all of my contents intact when I returned to the airport. I cannot thank Kiara enough for her help in locating my bag. This kind of service can’t be found at all hotels. Now back to my arrival. My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 10 AM in the morning just off of a cruise. We were not expecting to get a room but only to drop off our bags until our room was ready. Cathy, the front desk agent, told us that she would try to see if anything was available. We’ve done this many times and never has there ever been a room available this early. She told us you never know, let me give it a try. Lo and behold, she found us a room and we were able to check in immediately. This is a big relief for us as we didn’t want to just walk around for six hours. After traveling for more than 40 years, the kindness and support shown by Cathy and Kiara, were one of a kind. I can’t say enough superlatives about both of them. By the way, the room was great and the ocean view and balcony were fantastic. I will be staying here on my future trips to Fort Lauderdale.

Stayed at the The AC hotel location is good. Hotel is clean. Staff is okay. However they charge you a resort fee, and you will have to pay for breakfast per person. Everything is charged to your room and there is no option to pay with cash. Nice hotel fees I feel all these fees are unnecessary and incredibly expensive. I am basically paying for beach towels which I did not use, 2 hrs bicycle which I did not use. We were on the 8th floor with a balcony that has 2 very large sitting chairs that are 2 big for the balcony. It is about an hour walk to downtown Las olas downtown district.

Exceptional service in a clean modern hotel in an ideal location. The corner oceanfront room had an exceptional unobstructed ocean view with wraparound balcony. The lobby was open and breezy with a breakfast room (including all day coffee and espresso machine) and a great indoor/outdoor bar including a patio. Prime beach location with plenty of hotels, bars and cafes. The desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and in the lobby there was a sort of host in a suit making sure everyone was happy. Sleeping was a breeze with blackout curtains and soundproof windows. The oceanview pool was bigger than expected and included a bar. The room was clean and well appointed, highly recommended
