The location was wonderful and the staff were particularly helpful. A special mention to Candy who went out of her way to make our stay special. The initial room we booked in had issues with shower drainage and electrical tripping. We were moved to a more comfortable room

The initial room we stayed in had issues, shower drainage issues and electrical tripping of kettle. There is a large window which faces into the passageway. While this window does have a blind installed it does not block the light and unfortunately did affect the quality of our sleep on our first night.

Location was exceptional.

Extremely accommodating with late check-in and even packed us breakfast due to a very early check-out. Staff super friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of Table Mountain and ocean from our room.

If I'm being pedantic, the bathroom was a little shoddy - could do with fresh paint.

Seamless check-in; spectacular views and great service.

They lock the front entrance at night; struggled to gain entry had to call the front desk. This is not safe especially for female solo travellers.

The sea views were the best part. I love the aesthetics and interior of the entire hotel.

The general condition of the room and building was disappointing (stains on the sheets and curtains, poor finishing quality, poor noise insulation, breakfast smell in the room). We won’t be going back.

The location is perfect. I would sleep in a shack just to be near that view. You have the beach, Table Mountain, and Robben Island right in front of you. Nothing was out of place or felt lived-in; the food was good and the staff amazing.

Front door scratching on floor, our room was close to front door, the noise keep waking me up, but they did attend to it and my last night was much better

Always a great stay

The view of Table Bay is beautiful. The dinner menu was small but the food was delicious.

The maintenance work went on too long after an acceptable time.

Good location, no heating in the room. Half a double electric blanket on a double bed. No heaters available and it was a very cold night. Disappointed.

The staff were fantastic.

1.broken sliding door, couldn't close at night. Safety risk 2.room and bathroom not attended to. 3.room dusty, clothes rack had red dust 4.couldnt close blind, top part rusty and away from the wall 5.fridge froze all the items, had to throw away 6.sliding door to balcony, closed and no axcess to the balcony. So much for room with balcony 7. Only came to fix at 1745pm when we got back. So called fix 8.only Netflix, if you wanted anything else must go downstairs as see what's showing. 9.RIPPED Off what we paid and got for a so called Boutique Hotel????? 10 previously stayed in the suite, no hot water and only fixed on the Monday

Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! L'hôtel est confortable, propre et idéalement situé. Le vrai point fort, c'est la vue imprenable sur Table Mountain, qui est tout simplement magnifique, surtout au lever et au coucher du soleil. Le personnel est accueillant et toujours prêt à rendre service. Pour le prix, difficile de trouver mieux. Je recommande sans hésiter à tous ceux qui souhaitent profiter d'un séjour agréable au Cap sans se ruiner.

The host was exceptional, professional and welcoming. On the day we arrived it was raining but as we walked in the whole hotel was warm and cosy. Rooms were just as beautiful and comfortable. The view!!!!!! Oooh!! The food was divine we had chicken salad starter then my main was Lamb tangine and hubby thw Aged steak. Wow!!!!!

I gave your venue a good rating on google maps. I was a little worried about location. But everything was perfect. Definitely worth a return visit when I'm back in Milnerton!

The friendliness of the restaurant/reception staff. The extra tea and coffee in the rooms was really lovely. The ocean view was just fantastic and the beds very comfortable.

We booked two rooms and both had cold water for showering and its winter! We advised the Duty Manager of the problem the first morning and she confirmed it would get it fixed. When we returned to the room that evening, we found the plumber working in the rooms! (18h00 - which was not acceptable). We were asked to wait downstairs until the plumber was finished, which was about an hour (ridiculous!). We were then told that this was an issue that needed further attention and requested to use room 9's bathroom which was open. So, in the morning we had to run up and down the corridor for a shower and guess what? Again, the water was lukewarm! There is definitely a problem with hot water!! The cherry on the cake was at breakfast when they wanted to charge us for an addition cup of tea. So, just so you are aware you are only entitled to one cup of coffee or tea at breakfast, otherwise you pay an additional charge. The rooms need some maintenance - window handles nearly falling off and the light switch in the room as very loose. Housekeeping and Duty Managers should be doing checks on things like this... I was also advised that the Manager was going to give me a call... but still waiting!!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was delicious with a great variety and excellent quality. The staff were extremely warm, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I got scammed! Placed in a room I didn’t book after I called to confirm availability of room prior to making the booking all because of international tourists. I expressed my dissatisfaction upon checking in and was told manager has been informed and will be in contact. I have never heard from them to date, no apology no nothing! I have a recording of my telephone conversation. Was just stuck in a small room, no hot water, milk or even bottled water!!! Oh! I was offered a bottle of wine by reception because seemingly alcohol is what South Africans need to forget the misery we get subjected to. The lack of ethics, customer service and accountability from management team left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will never recommend this place! A simple phone call prior to changing my booking and option to decide if I want to proceed in light of change in rooms would have gone a long way!

The noise. Possibly my timing was bad, the hotel was extremely noisy renovations, while I understand that could not be avoided, I do not understand why the contractor would come as early as 6am, make noise, laughing and talking, that was a huge distraction of sleep.

Some light building work during the day, but not a massive issue as we were out exploring the city most of the time. Other than that, a brilliant hotel and would highly recommend!

I had the buffet breakfast which was delicious. The cooked breakfast smell was very tempting, but I decided to keep it simple.

No cupboards

The hotel is perfectly located at the beach with unobstructed beach view. I would have loved to go to the beach but the weather was not good. Dinner and breakfast were good. The king size bed very comfortable and linen was very clean.

Property is being renovated, floors untiled and I noticed some small cockroaches. There is no study desk, the shower tiles have grime. However, I hope that once renovations are completed the hotel will be beautiful.

Clean well situated with a perfect view

Website says Deluxe Room which should be 1 room Deluxe Double Room should be 2 separate rooms where family stay and share a kitchen and bathroom. Mother and Daughter shared a double bed and that spoilt the stay.

The late check-in was appreciated, and as always, the staff are very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, with lovely pillows and extra blankets, as it was very cold that night. Beautiful location on the beachfront.

Room 1 was noisy as the breakfast / dining room is next door. The rooms upstairs are much quieter.

The views and location are stunning. The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding.

Nothing, the property is the most terrible place there is, a real complete waste of money. It looks nothing like in the photos.

Everything! The entire place is dirty and full of dust like it hasn’t been used or cleaned in years. The top floor looks like a ghost town and the staff is very useless. There is no air con, and the windows are rubbish.

Location is good for traveling to business in Cape Town.

The coldness in the rooms. No WiFi. No TV. Dinner was really bad, the steak was awful. Even the second Rump Steak they cooked was inedible.

The staff at the place was truly amazing, so helpful and welcoming The views is truly the selling point The fire added such a whimsical touch, so cozy and romantic. The breakfast was really delicious and served with so much with much delight. After breakfast we could go for walk along the beach, just couldnt get over the location, tranquility literally a step away. The beds was super comfy, plus we had private outside sitting area which I appreciated. Lovely chill spot had the weather permitted with ocean view. The bathroom is lovely, shower was great. My husband couldn't stop talking about the quality of the tiles on the shower floor, not cold to touch and non slip. Overall it was truly a lovely little romantic getaway.

The person who is handling the communication via bookings.com, doesn't reciprocate the same hospitality like the hosts at the hotel. Very short and didn't answer or respond to my request. I suggest you call the hotel directly after you have made your booking - to avoid disappointments The room didn't meet my expectations as I felt it was small, the room was very close to the breakfast and reception area, so we could hear the movements in the morning. Photos aren't a true reflection of the room size, for Room 1.
