L’hotel è datato e necessita di ristrutturazione. Ma lavori come questi sono fastidiosi e due giorni giorni di martello pneumatico e operai che vanno e vengono per l’hotel sono fastidiosi. Ah dimenticavo, le camere fredde senza possibilità di aumentare la temperatura. Rubinetteria rotta, da sostituire.

They downgraded our room and informed me via text message. When I asked about a reduced rate, the staff member claimed I already had a good price on Booking.com and refused to adjust it—leaving me with a "take it or leave it" choice just a day or two before arrival. This was very unprofessional; had they informed me earlier about the ongoing work, I would have changed my reservation. The receptionist did, however, offer complimentary wine after I brought it up at check-in.

The rooms are so ancient , the doors are broken and run down they use an ancient locking system that was designed before my grandparents even existed. The bathroom is extremely spooky and full of rust. It was freezing when I checked in, Cape Town had a cold front - this place doesn’t even have a single electric blanket or an air conditioner. So there’s no way of warming up the room or the bed 🥶 I didn’t enjoy the breakfast, it was very average, they only had dairy milk which was not warm. There’s a Middle Aged Zimbabwean lady who woke me up knocking at my door at (8:30) in the morning for house keeping. I didn’t reply until she was (inside) my room- she unlocked my room while I was still sleeping she then asked me what time she should clean my room. There’s no peace in this hotel. 98% of their employees are foreigners from Zimbabwe, I don’t recommend staying at this hotel
Being hosted by untrained, casual foreign nationals. I had no peace. I couldn’t wait to leave This place needs serious renovation, the rooms are extremely horrendous and cold!

While the bathrooms are good they are in need of an upgrade particularly with respect to the showers.

A waiter by the name of Loyd treated us badly on the day of our arrival. He was rude and condescending. The bar manager Michael and the Waiter Eshton are the reason we remained at the bar. We found dead cockroaches in our room throughout our stay there!

Lovely ladies serving breakfast .They were ever so warm and friendly and chatty providing such a warm homely atmosphere. Would highly recommend the omelets' they make! Food was excellent. Found the area safe which was great . The staff from reception , to the restaurant and bar , cleaning staff was absolutely amazing -very attentive, service quick and efficient nothing was too much for them. Loved the cleanliness of the hotel .Clean , fresh towels everyday or at your request which was great. Room cleanliness outstanding. Hotel very well located for the beach and local amenities.
Not a single thing we did not like. The Blue Peter Hotel will most definitely see us again in future. Great Location .We have no complains. Great place to stay , best in the area. We felt safe and beautifully looked after. Friendly atmosphere, great warm vibes.
