Great service. Knowing it’s my parents’ 77th birthday, the staff presented a fruit plate given we checked in late and bakery is closed that they couldn’t present a cake. Very much appreciated the ease of checking in and out and nice amenities.

As expected nothing short of being “Marriott” as I commented to a fellow colleague that it seemed that all Marriott hotels are done up the same way. I liked the fact that the breakfast is served on the top floor offering a great view of the city and yet it is spacious that one doesn’t smell like a fried egg eating there . The only feedback would be that the housekeeping can be a little more thorough as I was given a suite room but yet they didn’t clear all the bins with a leftover banana skin lying in the bin

Dear Customer Service], I am writing to express my concern about a recent issue with my reservation. Due to a typhoon, my flight was canceled and rescheduled for a day later. I contacted both the hotel and Expedia to modify my arrival date, but upon arrival, the manager, Amanda Tang, informed me that my reservation was voided due to a no-show. I was told that the hotel was fully booked and was given no option but to pay the full price for the original reservation to secure a room. Given the circumstances and my prior attempts to amend the reservation, this situation feels unfair and stressful. Could you please review this situation and assist in resolving this issue? The hotel required a deposit of 500 RMB, but has not refunded the deposit, affter almost 48 hours of checking out! Not a good practice.

Your discrimination did not match the hotel. I upgraded to have a hot tub and second toilet. The hotel does not have them!

Good and comfort

The Hotel is Quite near to the North Shenyang Railway, you can walk over there within 15 minutes, the Room also comes with a Nice View of the City, Highly Recommended !

My overall impression of this hotel was great, just like how a typical Asian Marriott should be. The pre-stay and post-stay surveys were definitely a plus, and I appreciated the suites I was upgraded into as well. There were some minor cleanliness issues but it was promptly take care of and I appreciated the follow-ups from MOD Michelle (not only during that same stay, but during my next stay as well - nice touch). That said, breakfast food quality and service needed improvements pretty badly (team, bottom line is please don't have a full blown argument in front of your guests), and the lounge needed more staff to keep an eye on stock levels outside happy hour. Overall I'd call this hotel great by Marriott standards, and with some minor improvements this has potential to be THE Marriott property of Shenyang (not like there were many competitions to begin with).

The room was huge, nice decor and high quality feel. Great city view and good location.

I enjoyed my stay and room in the 31st floor. My room was reasonably large, nightly rate was very reasonable, bed sleep quality was excellent. I turned the room temperature down from 24C to 22C, which made for a much more comfortable sleep. During my stay, likely less than 5% of the hotel guests were white westerners. All staff members weee helpful and friendly.

Nice b.f and good condition of property but area was not so good

Worst stay I had in a while. AC was either broken or hotel was trying to save electricity by not turning central AC on. Checked in 10pm room temperature was 27C. Tried to adjust AC to lowest and after 2 hours it was still 27C. Called front desk to complain and was told they will send someone to check. Instead a guy brought in a fan. I called again and ask if I can just move to another room and I was told they will send another guy to check. I also asked if there is a problem with the AC and they told me I was the only one complaining. Woke up in the middle of the night and temperature was 28C. Next morning I went to the gym and temperature as also hot. Breakfast area was the same. Just horrible experience. I rarely write a review. I only write when it was a very good experience or it was absolutely horrible. Sadly this the latter.

Air conditioner not working. Lobby staff did their best to solve it but it never worked properly. Sky bar closed. Lobby bar closed at 19:00. Jacuzzi empty. Seemed like the hotel has reduced its operations significally. Not 5 star in my opinion.

This hotel was next to Shenyang North high-speed train station and metro station Shenyang North station. It was a luxurious hotel. Breakfast was located on the top floor in which you can see a spectacular city view. Pool and gym was so great. Club lounge provided fantastic happy hour. Free breakfast for Marriott elite members was provided on the restaurant.

This is my second stay at Marriott Shenyang. My first stay was with perfect service, Marriott recognition and 5stars. My second stay was very unsatisfactory and with the feeling to be in a cheap chinese hotel. No upgrade, no good service and bad food quality from breakfast and even the evening buffet with extremely bad quality. Now opened a club lounge with no service quality and happy hour which was not happy at all. At the top was on the next day stomach problems. All in all, was for sure my last stay at Marriott Shenyang. There are much better choices from the Marriott Group in Shenyang

Perfect from the Checkin to Checkout. Beautiful view from top, new rooms and perfect service. Location in Downtown Shenyang. For Marriott Members the perfect place. Suite upgrade, no lounge but offer Buffet Dinner (which is very good and international) with included drinks. I was very happy and for sure will come back Very well done, Marriott Shenyang!!
