Reviewed Oct 26, 2025One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect to the core. The view was truly mesmerizing..no other hotel offers such a stunning panoramic scene. The food was excellent, and the hospitality from the entire staff, especially Meenu, was exceptional. We’ll definitely visit again. A perfect 10/10 stay.

My experience at Araiya Palampur was thoroughly disappointing. Right from the start, the room was a letdown. The kettle didn't work, and neither did the telephone, which made basic communication a hassle. The balcony was unkempt, with debris from previous guests left lying around. During breakfast, the service was shockingly slow. While others were being served promptly, I had to endure a frustrating 30-minute wait just for roti. This lack of attention to guests' needs is unacceptable for a supposedly reputable establishment. Moreover, the hotel misrepresented itself online. What was advertised and what I paid for was far from what I actually received. This discrepancy between expectation and reality is misleading and unprofessional. Leaving the hotel in frustration and regret, I can confidently say I will never return to Araiya Palampur. I rate this experience a dismal 2 stars, based solely on the scenic location that the hotel does not deserve credit for.

The room was very small and did not look to be 250 sq feet as described. it was extremely cramped. In the bathroom there was hardly any place between the shower and the basin. The facilities was below standard. However the staff did their best to make up and offered an upgrade. But being Senior Citizen it was very difficult to move after a 5 hour transfer drive

Overall staff is good, except for the front desk. Puneet and chef in F&B were very accommodating and made sure I enjoyed the meal. I had unpleasant experience with the front desk both during the check in and check out. Except for that the stay was quite relaxing.
