Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Archon is the place to be in Naxos. Absolute oasis of peace and tranquility at just 2’ walk from the beautiful Plaka beach. Christos and Eleni make sure everything is perfect for the guests and they are the best hosts. The property has been built to an amazing high standard, it is clean and very well kept, both the building and the grounds, which have beautifully appointed Mediterranean plants. We loved the room we had, the excellent breakfast served in our patio, the marvellous sunsets you can see from the comfort of your room… The property provides you with beach towels, a good plus, and it has a good parking if you have q car (recommended). Christos and Eleni can also suggest some good places to eat, we followed the recommendations and it proved great! We will be back here next time we are in Naxos. Thank you!

Nous avons aimé le confort de notre emplacement et la quiétude de l'endroit. La piscine est un réel atout tout comme la plage qui se situe à quelques pas du complexe.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Eleni et Cristos ont créé un très bel endroit avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres et lieux sont très beaux et bien pensé. La plage est juste de l’autre côté de la route et est propre et jolie. Il y a une une petite partie aménagée avec un food truck qui permet d’aller chercher du café et autre. Chambre neuve et très propre. On nous a donné de nombreux conseils et contacts utiles, nous reviendrons! Excellent petit déjeuner et qui change tous les jours.

You will definitely need a car to access restaurants and bars. Breakfast needs a real improvement. The options are very limited and mostly sweet and factory made. The host was very kind and adjust it a little bit based on our preference but still not a great value for money.

We visited Athens, Naxos and Santorini, but Naxos quickly provided the most memorable surprises because of our wonderful experiences at Archon and the hospitality of the charming owners. The Greek owners suggested where to go and what to do to take full advantage of the seaside area in the short time that we were there. Their attention to detail for this resort makes all the difference. Every morning like clockwork they provided a delicious breakfast that the entire family enjoyed filled with yogurts, honey and jams, phyllo pastries, fresh baguettes, fresh fruit, juice, etc. which allowed us to just relax as a family as we overlooked a beautiful setting and ocean landscape. The pool is immaculate, and the pool side lounge chairs are inviting after a visit to the beach. My daughter even fell in love with a beautiful, sweet cat that visited nightly while there…The landscaping around the resort is perfection! We did rent a small car for our family of four, and that is essential. Thank you to Christos and Eleni!!! May you be blessed forever with wonderful guests as you share your immaculate, exquisite, relaxing resort with all of us.

Christos y su equipo se encargan de que todo funcione a la perfección. El hotel se encuentra en un entorno tranquilo alejado del ruido a 3 minutos caminando a la playa de Plaka y a escasos minutos en autos de Mikri Vigla. Volveríamos encantados.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Modern, sauber, wirklich toll. Christos ist ein wahnsinnig sympathischer Gastgeber und sehr bemüht. Die Kommunikation lief sehr reibungslos und wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse konnten wir bei einem tollen Ausblick genießen. Da es kein eigenes Hotelrestaurant o.Ä. gibt, bestand dieses hauptsächlich aus fertigen Produkten wie z.B. kleinen Marmeladengläschen oder Aufbackbaguettes. Dazu gab es frisches Obst und Gebäck. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel am Plaka Beach; der Strand innerhalb von 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Ein Mietwagen ist für abendliche Restaurantbesuche empfehlenswert.

Our room was upstairs with a fabulous view over the water and we had a 2 min walk to the beach across the road. There was a supermarket within easy reach by car and also restaurants.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Saubere, weitläufige Anlage mit schönen, schlichten Zimmern und einem tolle Ausblick aufs Meer mit fantastischem Sonnenuntergang Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es vor allem im Hochsommer ideal ist - direkt fußläufig in 2 min. am Plaka Beach, toller Pool mit Liegen und viel Platz. Man kann sich an Strandtagen das Auto fahren und Parkplatz suchen sparen… Mietwagen o.ä. auf jeden Fall notwendig. Preis-Leistung stimmig.
Ich persönlich mag gerne einen frischen Cappuccino o.ä. zum Frühstück, das gab es leider nicht sondern eine Nespresso im Zimmer - das war aber nur eine Kleinigkeit.

La composition du plateau du petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré avec notamment des produits locaux.

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und werden täglich gereinigt. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und kann Abends auf der Terrasse den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Everything is so beautiful: inside the house and the landscaping as well. Christos was very helpful and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

Modern, beautifully decorated room, with a lovely terrace to enjoy the spectacular ocean views and pool views while enjoying the delightful breakfast, brought to our room. So very safe and so very comfortable.Staff were so warm, nice friendly and accommodating, and helpful. They gave us really great tips on planning each of our days, and incredible restaurant choices. Google Maps on Naxos takes you easily to and from this location in your rental car. Driving was so easy. Park on site. The rating at the time we booked was “Exceptional”. We found this rating to be accurate. We enjoyed this truly exceptional property, and will recommend it to our family members, and work mates, and will look forward to our own return in the future.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Archon seaside is an exceptional hotel. Its location is perfect, right up the road from one of the most beautiful beaches in Naxos (Plaka) and a 15 minute drive from the port. The room itself felt like an authentic Greek villa, but had modern appliances and facilities which made it comfortable and luxurious. The pool is excellent and always clean, parking on site is convenient, and the view of the sea and other islands is incredible. Above all, the most important reason why our stay was so enjoyable, was the hospitality provided by Christos, the owner of the hotel. He provided us a variety of recommendations of food, beaches, places to see on the islands and car rental options. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Naxos!

Unglaublich schön morgens nach einem Frühschwimm im Meer auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken und abends den umwerfenden Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Der Strand golden, nah und meist leer, die Atmosphäre insgesamt sehr chillig. Innen ist’s super chic, stylisch und wie neu. Und die Gastgeber unglaublich herzlich. Wir würden wieder kommen!
Mietwagen unerlässlich, leider keine Restaurants in wirklicher Gehweite.

The owner has to make a decision: adults only or family friendly, you cannot target all type of customer in such a small town place because it does not work! I booked this place after a very busy year and I was looking for peace. There is nothing worse than, on your vacations, listening to crying and screaming babies and kids at 7.30am (everyday) and when you are trying to rest at the pool (everyday); it is unacceptable after paying 350€/night. We had 3 bad-mannered families with babies and kids for the entire duration of our stay that thought they were alone in the hotel!!!

You need car to stay in this hotel as there is no restaurant in the hotel or nearby. However got some nice help from the owner our first night to order some food to the room via a restaurant which was much appreciated!

He was so responsive to all our questions before we came, greeted us upon arrival and is so kind and helpful giving us all the info we needed as to the sites and checked in on us daily. It truly is a retreat there being so peaceful and beautiful. We are a family of 5 and the house was very comfortable and clean and we never wanted or needed anything because it was always there. Loved it!!

Reviewed May 27, 2025Very well maintained and stylishly furnished retreat with great attention to detail. Our 2-storey house was cleaned daily from top to bottom (dry and damp): Extremely high level of cleanliness, and everything smells nice and fresh. We like to open the windows at night, so it is all the more positive that the windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Mosquito plugs are also provided. Very good and high-quality beds, as well as the cushions and pillows at the tables or in the chill-out corners. The kitchen is very well equipped, including a Nespresso capsule machine and toaster, and wine glasses are also provided. The pool and sunbeds are also very well maintained and the sunbeds are extremely comfortable. The beautiful beach (Plaka Beach) can be reached on foot in 3-4 minutes. Pool/beach towels are provided. We were able to rent beach loungers on the beach for 20 euros including free "stand up paddle use" (i.e. 10€ per day and person). We assume that this low price applies in the low season (May). Christos is a very friendly and courteous host, gives great tips and does everything to make his guests feel at home. We felt very comfortable and safe the whole time! Absolutely again! Thanks Christos and Team for this lovely stay!!!
As a quality manager, I almost always have room for improvement to report; not this time. Everything was perfect!
