The landscaping is marvellous. Facial at the rate charged 7500 was not at all value for money .no steam machine no equipments ..was very average quality as if for 750 rs facial we paid 7500. Gym was very good pool was very good .evening there should be more happenings like Rajsthani traditional dance .... singing entertainment was below an average. Flute was very good during the breakfast .

The location of Raffles in Udaipur is truly unique being the only luxury hotel on a large lake and nature reserve which is spectacular, full of tropical flora and fauna. From the very moment we arrived we were welcomed like family and treated like royalty with a boat ride across the lake and a buggy ride to the hotel. The grounds and the facilities are second to none being a true five star hotel. Upon arrival we were showered with rose petals and again welcomed into the fold like we were family. The whole process of checking in was seamless and we were shown to our room which was absolutely beautiful with every facility and luxury you could imagine and a view to match throughout our stay. Nothing was a problem and in fact staff were literally falling over themselves to help us and make sure that our stay was truly memorable. A special thanks to the floor manager Aman who really looked after us and gave us his direct contact as a service and also to Karan at the breakfast area who looked after all our dietary needs, last but not least least Mohit at the pool who pampered us daily. We are definitely coming back

The property exudes luxury and is quite remarkable. Its attention to detail is impeccable. The property is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the facilities. The spa is absolutely beautiful and the high teas are top notch. Staff are very attentive.

They did have a mix up with our bookings for our high tea even though I booked months in advance but the team were quick to assist with rectifying their error and attempted to make our booking special none the less. The baggage upon departure was very slow to arrive on the boat when we were on a tight schedule.

Exquisitely maintained gardens, peaceful surroundings and birdlife! The evening Aarti and musicians were great. Priya at reception was awesome, very efficient and warm

Although these points will not affect my score and neither a re -visit I feel for constructive feedback and improvement it’s needed.. prior to check in a link was sent stating it will ensure a smooth process and I will only need to fetch the room card hence I did do it successfully but check in was delayed and errors made with my card where the wrong amounts were billed ( it was eventually corrected at check out). There were numerous power cuts during the stay hence the Tv / WiFi etc had constant interruptions. Possibly as there was a wedding there things were delayed ( I definitely request that more staff be added on these occasions as I have always experienced poor service at premium hotels when weddings were booked). The food was really tasty however I did get a chicken burger instead of the chickpea one and being vegetarian it was annoying However the chef did come through and apologised.. Also a cheeese masala dosa was ordered but a plain one arrived. These are small things that I simply overlooked but with Raffles it shouldn’t be.Also the staff sometimes don’t understand certain questions and I am not sure if this is because of the local language barrier or my accent 😅Enquiry into certain dishes and what they contain etc was fruitless and I ended up calling the concierge who explained it successfully!

The hotel was sublime, from the staff, to the decor, the food, the rooms. I think it has ruined every other hotel for me. We went here for the start of our honeymoon and the hotel staff could not do more. The butler HP was an absolute super star. Thankk you so much for making the noght so memorable

There was no buffet in Dinner just choose what you want to eat...after paying so handsome it was choose from al la carte not worth really paying half board and we get this after hafty pay...kids was like NO BUFFET 😢 They charge for High Tea "Funny"

Raffles Udaipur is excellent. My wife and I stayed there, for the first time, for two nights. We then went on to our next hotel in Udaipur (Taj lake palace). Raffles Udaipur impressed us more in almost every way. Location - beautiful, service from staff - outstanding, amenities - great with something for all ages, and finally the food - some of the best Indian food we've ever had. I would like to give a brief shout out to four particularly outstanding members of staff at Raffles - Prashant (a butler), Vishal (at the poolside), Tarun (a waiter) and Bablu (a chauffeur). They all gave outstanding service and were very personable. We will definitely come back to Raffles Udaipur and recommend it to others. *Also used as our Google and Trip advisor review*

Where do you start. Property, location, facilities, amenities and people. Genuinely first class all around.

The stay was pleasant , we got a pool room upgraded during our stay but the generous staff as the property was not fully occupied . The restaurant staff named anand was helpful and attentive and the flute player named anand too was good too with his soothing music during the breakfast . The butler service communication could be little better as there was some miscommunication during our check out for car service ,as there was some delay in it. Rest all was amazing during the stay

Everything was impeccable! The most spectacular setting, warm attentive service and world class facilities. The view alone is worth the stay.

Food was exceptional, super courteous staff

This was a once in a lifetime experience. The level and quality of service from the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we were dropped off was unparalleled and exquisite. The property itself is wonderful and unique. It takes a boat ride to get there and we as guests have an option of taking a wooden boat (Environmentally conscious) vs a speed boat. We have the Raffles staff receiving us on land, escorting us to a reception area while our bags are tagged and loaded into a boat to be taken to the island property. We were provided refreshments and made really comfortable. We had staff escort us to the boat and accompanied us to the property. We were welcomed like royalty! They were handy with our camera/phone and so ready to take as many photographs as we needed to make our memories last forever. We took a short buggy ride from where we landed on the island to the actual resort. The lawns and the gardens were spectacular, well manicured and so impressive. We were welcomed in the resort by additional staff with a welcome drink and escorted to our room, where our check in took place. All in all what an experience. The room, the furniture, the beds, the decor, the attention to detail was mindblowing! My husband I stayed for 4 nights. The staff went above and beyond to make out stay memorable. Exceptional service!

Everything about the place is luxurious. Things that stood out for me were beautiful location, view from the room, exceptionally maintained gardens and birds on the island.

Approach road is narrow. Corridors are dark at some places.

The check-in experience was too good to be true. Sahil at the front desk was smooth, sauve and super efficient. It felt as if we had arrived to our own home. Not to a hotel queuing or waiting to be let into the room. Raffles team is at par or even better than the best I have seen around the world. The spa, restaurants, and the overall service was top notch.

The property looks dated. The owners have done a shabby job of the architectural and interior work. Poor finishing is visible all around except in the spa and restaurants. In spite of being around for just 4 years, the property looks at least 20 years old. If it were not for the amazing management by the operator Raffles, I would have rated this property 3/10

A Memorable Birthday Stay I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Raffles Udaipur from June 16 to 18, and it was an experience I will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service was evident. We were warmly greeted by Roshan, who took us by boat to the reception while sharing the fascinating history of the place. This thoughtful introduction set the tone for our stay. A special thanks to Ravi, who went above and beyond by arranging our room with personal photos and a birthday cake, making the celebration incredibly special. Ayush then escorted us to our beautifully decorated room, ensuring we felt right at home. The Long Bar team deserves a shoutout, particularly Rohit, for his excellent drink recommendations and Vishal for his delightful guitar performances. Their contributions made our evenings even more enjoyable. Our dining experiences were equally impressive. Rahul at Sawahi provided fantastic food recommendations and served us with a constant smile, enhancing our meals. The chef and kitchen team deserve accolades for their delicious food, and we appreciate their enthusiasm and joy in serving us. Manish's heartwarming hospitality and Naveen's meticulous housekeeping ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The team managing the docks also stood out with their humility and engaging conversations about the hotel's history. What truly touched us was the sincerity and warmth of the entire staff. Despite our attempts, none of them accepted tips, which speaks volumes about their dedication to genuine service. Overall, our stay at Raffles Udaipur was pleasant, relaxing, and an absolute delight. The property itself is magical, both the setting and the rooms. Our welcome was exceptional and every single interaction with staff was personable and professional. A truly memorable experience. Dined at all the restaurants and had drinks at both lounges - all very lovely experiences.

Honestly, there wasn't one single aspect to our three night stay where we found fault or found was less than exceptional.

The hotel & grounds are simply stunning, the view incredible - it's worth exploring the beautiful gardens on foot and getting a feel for the vast property. The room was spacious and bright with a balcony and views over the lake. The service is really next level, everyone is very attentive and sweet with it. Nen and the whole butler team looked after us so well, spoiling us with treats for my birthday and looking after my husband when he was unwell. The pool area was always quiet when we used it - the team were quick to bring towels and a cool box with water and other supplies. We had drinks and dinner in the Long Bar - Tamal made one of the best Martinis we've ever had, and his old fashioned is perhaps the 8th wonder of the world. Manesh looked after us by the pool and again in the evening at dinner, going above and beyond with sweet little touches.

One thing to note is that you are a short drive from Lake Pichola, plus a boat ride to the hotel. For us, this was all part of the serenity and the experience was very unique. But you are away from the main action. Depending on what time of year you travel, do be aware of mosquitos as you are on a lake so we found they were quite bitey.

WOW What a hotel! If you're in Udaipur and want to enjoy a little heavenly Oasis, then you must stay at the Raffles! We went for a wedding so that's the main reason for staying there, but wow we were just impressed by everything. The room (spectacular), the food (delicious), the facilities (amazing), the grounds (beautiful). From the moment you are greeted to get on the boat which takes you to the island where the hotel is to the moment of checkout, the experience was amazing. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend all those visiting to at least enjoy an evening or two at this palace.

Though maybe not particular to the hotel, but the experience at the salon wasn't amazing. We went for hair/make up/ saree draping. Though I was absolutely pleased with my makeup, the Hair and saree experience were underwhelming. On a separate note, we found some of the food prices a tad bit high (and I'm from NYC), but I guess as expected at a 5 star resort.

The pricing of the food items it too steep. For one meal for 2 (nothing fancy) the bill comes out to about Rs.5000. This is especially steep when there are no other places to eat around the property

Everything that the property offers is exceptional. The hospitality is amazing.

First of all, the property is absolutely stunning! Everything is clean and looks brand new. The room was spacious and beautiful. Second, the service was the best I have ever had. They are taking care of anything you can think of with the highest standards and always with a smile. It was a perfect stay!

The only thing that needed an improvement was breakfast. When the place is packed, you'll need to wait for a table (we waited one time for 20 minutes) as they dont really have enough tables for all rooms. Also, the waiting time to get the food was pretty long and there weren't a lot of international food options at the buffet. But even that was ok as the staff was very helpful and did their best to fix everything.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional and helped in whichever way they could. Special Mention to Bhagwati Sharma, Who looked after us very well and helped our stay go from wonderful to Exceptional. Also, Aakash and Sahil made us feel very welcome.

We were curious to visit the first Raffles property in India and decided to add this to our trip. The property is well maintained, located on a beautiful lake and the room with a private pool was beautiful.

In plain simple words, this hotel lacked the warmth of Indian Hospitality. It comes from the brand and its DNA. We were applied coming from Oberoi and taj Lake palace. First of all, the hotel was designed for weddings. There are dedicated places for rituals and parties. The hotel lacked functional areas, for kids and activities. Not even a single activity was offered complimentary with the room. The staff was too mechanical and cold. There were no price uniformities, we were charged different prices on our bill than what was stated in the menu prices on 3 occasions. We raised this matter with the staff, they said they will look into it, but no rectification was made. We were charged for baby food when no Indian Brand ever charged us for baby food. Further, There is only one restaurant for lunch that too with minimal vegetarian options. Overall the hotel was beautiful but it lacked soul.

Room Garden was smelling extramly bad ( sevage water smell ) Mosquitos .

The service was incredible. We were a group of 6, celebrating two birthdays. They gave us complimentary cake, decorated the room with photos and gave a gift as well. Vikram from the butler team helped plan everything out and Chef Rawat graciously made our food separately since we had a member with a nut allergy. They were all very nice and helpful and would definitely recommend staying here with family. + The views are great and the rooms are huge, clean and very comfy.
