The breakfast was excellent with great variety of fresh and cooked-to-order options. The room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed with a gorgeous view of the lake. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The dinner in the international restaurant was a little underwhelming. We had hoped to dine in the outdoor fine-dining Indian restaurant on the terrace but it was full on the one night we stayed in the hotel, which was disappointing.

Worth telling that even after a small glitch that I merely highlighted to the kitchen staff - they made sure that the whole stay turned into happy memorable event. Kudos to The Leela for that for grooming their heroes like that. However everyone, the whole Leela team is amazing specially one under Mr Nishaad (The Head Chef). People like him are hugely responsible to add the value and depth to a property. His team Ronak, Hardik, Sanjay, Krishna, Alpha and many more I can’t recall. Thank you

Nestled in the middle of the beautiful and serene Lake Pichola lies an excellent jewel The Leela Palace, and I must compliment the Leela Palace team for the great hospitality and service that they provided us during our stay. The staff is excellent and set the highest standard of service. The property is well maintained and attention to detail in their daily operations, The breakfast is superb and even the live options are excellent, the executive chef Siddharth was present during all our meals and pays individual attention to guests, the GM of the Hotel Prasoon Pandey ensures that everything works like clockwork, Saurav & Rituraj from the F&B team are excellent and so is the entire F&B team, the only small hitch during my stay was the Honeywell Thermostat in my room 209 which never crossed 19 degrees Celsius, i did raise a complain but it was partially resolved with the temp going up to 21 degrees and not 24 degrees which I had requested, however barring this everything was excellent and full kudos to the entire team of Leela Palace, a must visit for anyone wanting to experience a beautiful property with excellent hospitality in the city of lakes Udaipur.

From the moment you arrive at the jetty, to the warm welcome at check-in to the actual setting of the hotel itself, Leela Palace is a stunning hotel. The staff are amazing including a personal concierge who will take care of anything you need during your stay. Whilst there are many other hotels in the area, a stay in Udaipur on the lake itself if a must. It is well worth taking a guide to visit the nearby palace and sites.

I have traveled quite a bit, but I can say with absolute certainty that I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life. And then there is the staff. Absolutely extraordinary. We both had colds when we arrived at Leela Palace Hotel on Lake Pichola. We were not feeling at our best. However all staff went out of their way to make our stay a most comfortable and memorable one. Prachi Tilak Mehta the Guest Experience Manager was exceptionally helpful and empathic . The hotel has a wonderful ambience. Our room had wonderful views over the lake. We had a big comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent and varied as were the evening meals. We cannot fault the Leela Palace Hotel and would happily recommend to other visitors staying in Udaipur on the Lake Pichola. Thank you to all.

Lovely hotel, exquisite setting on lake in Udaipur. Best welcome ever, with music, rose petal confetti etc. fantastic colonial bar with great food. Super comfortable rooms. Great staff. Only disappointment was pool too cold to use. Hotel provide tuk tuk to take guests into shopping area. Culture shock , great people , not the cleanest of shopping areas, but the shop owners were extremely friendly. Great experience. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend lake view room . Far superior to plunge pool room. 10/10. Forgot to mention, it was my son’s birthday and they went out of their way to celebrate it with him. Thank you so very much. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I had a memorable stay at The Leela Udaipur Palace, marked by warmth, consistency, and attention to detail. I prefer slow, leisure-led travel, and this experience delivered exactly that. Ankur at the front desk ensured a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out, setting the tone for the stay. Akash, my butler, was exceptional throughout. He was patient, attentive, and proactive in keeping me informed about experiences across the property, including cultural performances and dining options. He assisted with outfit suggestions based on the weather, helped manage golf cart arrangements to the back gate during busy hours, and was extremely patient in helping me capture photos and videos, as I was travelling alone. Dining was handled thoughtfully by Anshul, who quickly understood my preferences and ensured subsequent meals reflected them seamlessly. I also appreciated the managers overseeing the Library Bar and the restaurant, who checked in periodically to ensure everything ran smoothly. A special mention to the musicians, singers, and dancers across the property. Their performances added warmth and character to the experience, from welcome moments to evening shows. Having stayed at several prestigious Taj and Leela properties in Mumbai, Goa, and Udaipur, this stay stood out for its genuine, well-balanced hospitality. I would highly recommend The Leela Udaipur Palace.

We had a great lunch at The Leela Palace Jaipur, Peacock Lounge. It is recently opened and since we wanted a la carte on republic day Chef Zuber accompanied us to the the restaurant. We had the Mushroom cappucino soup and Entree which included Tajin, ending it with Egyptian Omali and the food was just awesome prepared by Chef Shireen under the expert guidance of Chef Zuber. We got excellent service from Biranchi and Suhana. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Jaipur to try out the restaurants and food at The Leela. The property itself is stunning the Peacock Lounge has some amazing art work too.

We stayed the night for our anniversary and had dinner at sheesh mahal.. amazing view, fabulous service and food was really good. Our server Mr Nikhil was very plesant, attentive and even made the evening special by bringing a slice of cake for us.. Drinks were also up to par.. Overall lovely experience totally worth it..

The stay, experience and everything was good with Leela, the staffs here are amazing, very helpful and co-operative, there is one feedback i will would like to give, the bathroom and washrooms should have locks on it, since it's only ok for couples, not when we are travelling for business and sharing room with colleagues, its not a good experience to invade our privacy. However I would like to thank all the staff here at Leela, they are the best :)

It was a fantastic experience we had at the Leela Palace. Chef Roshan Katara's food was wonderful especially the liquid gold soup which was absolutely superb! The entire staff at the restaurant and banquet hall were also great and some special mentions from your fantastic team are Druva, Ayush, Lee, Sanjay, Anshul, Samarth, Kunwarlal, Govind , Krishna, Jeetesh, Prachi..I will surely come back as this was a memorable stay and hats off for the customer service offered by this team. We had a great experience staying at the Leela. The lake view is mesmerising. We couldn’t control but took million photos. From The road petals welcome to the wonderful staffs here everything is amazing and top notch. Nimaa was taking care of us beautifully. She even gifted my son a small toy train and arranged a breakfast for us as we were leaving early the next day. Those were very thoughtful gestures. Thank you to all staffs at the Leela Palace.

The best stay at Leela Palace Udaipur, arrival onto the property through the guest jetty was an experience on its own, the property was also unbelievably grand and beautiful everywhere you look with unobstructed views onto the Fort and Taj Lake palace. The room was also spacious and luxurious, every detail was flawless. Our personal butler Akash, was also so helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Really cannot recommend this hotel and our stay in Udaipur enough.
