Un peu cher et il n'y a pas de déjeuner
This is a budget friendly no-frills place. The space is simple yet modern. The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and come with useful amenities such as a fridge while cutting excess like TVs. The area is pretty quiet despite being on a main road.
The driveway into the parking lot is a bit small so can be easy to miss while driving down Lakeshore Road. Some useful amenities that could have been included like a hairdryer were not. The Wi-Fi can also be unreliable. The shower was also quite archaic compared to the other faucets in the room.
Room was clean and comfortable, with microwave and mini-refrigerator, no coffee maker. Location was OK with short drive to restaurants (fast food to nice sit-down), also short drive to Lake Ontario waterfront, beaches and easy walks.
Reception was just OK.....for the price I would expect some type of breakfast (but I knew that was not included going in) but for the price.....
Motel correct, propre. Literie confortable.
Clim bruyante.
No breakfast
Paint coming off Smells
It's a scam. I booked a small apartment, but they gave me a single room with two beds and promised a partial refund of the initial bill. I still haven't received my refund.
Location right on the highway and close to a large park across the road. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Good hot water and pressure for showering. Comfortable room temperature. Clean room, carpets, bedding and pillows. No traffic noise. No room odours. Reasonably safe area.
Interiors were a bit tired looking, particularly the bathroom. 'Hotel' in the name is quite ambitious whereas 'Inn' may have been more accurate- there were renovations going on so hopefully that all improves. The entrance signage still is for the (prior) Green Acres Motel, which if you're unfamiliar with the area can be confusing navigating to. I would stay again just to see how much they improve it all.
I liked that it was there
We were given a free upgrade then it was taken away by the time we got there. They double booked us and gave the other people the good room. Oh and the toilet seats have those cushion seats that soak other people's pees in them... Gross
The location was convenient for what we planned to do during our stay. It smelled clean.
There were little shards of plastic on the carpet by the window, unsure from what. There was a bit of dark mold in some areas of the shower. The woman working the reception desk was not pleasant at all. She did not greet us, did not even smile. The next day at check out there was another woman who seemed to possibly be the owner or manager and she was very kind and welcoming. They are in the middle of renovations to update the very dated motel, and she was kind and apologetic of the state of the place.
Everything was good and the lady at reception is very sweet. I like her way of dealing with visitors.
Mmmmm.. firstly, the name should be changed from Toronto Lakeshore Hotel because its Green Acres Motel. I found it difficult to find as i was looking for the name- Toronto Lakeshore Hotel. I went to this motel to confirm because it location address was same. Secondly, there should be atleast a box of tissue papers.
glad that we only needed a place to rest our head for the night and no longer...arrived late and left early... Free parking and location. Easy to find.
lots broken, lots! of paint and repair required! worn out chairs, rug, walls, woodwork, makeshift repairs. Microwave propped up with a piece of wood because shelf was rotted. Took a while to figure out the heat only came from the bathroom and not the main heater, so chilly upon arrival.
Close to downtown Toronto where I had an appointment
Parking lot very icy. Difficulty walking Some type of police incident during our stay. Several police cars in location for hours
I liked that I didn't stay here!
I didn't stay here due to the front desk closing; no refund the manager was rude and I will never use booking again
The room had an odd smell but it went away after we were There awhile
Жуть Жутью, ну вздумайте тут жить. Напротив идет стройка очередной высотки. Отелю 1000 лет , и последний раз ремонт они делали 2000 лет тому назад.

Not much
This is aPlace which can very well appear in a murderer movie. It was dirty and literally disgusting. I had never stayed in such a sh. hol.. in my life.
Remarkably quiet as the room was well away from the main road. We were able to combine our two bookings into one room which saved a lot of hassle. Ideally situated away from and yet not too far from our visits to the Southside Shuffle events in Port Credit.
It would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room but we adapted. The towels... but reception provided extra, larger ones on request.
Very friendly receptionist (Mona). Very thorough and meticulous showing me the details of the charges. Very polite. All in all, I was completely satisfied and will be making it my regular place to stay when in Toronto.
Nice
I booked this place alone because my buddy wasn't sure about the reviews, but this place was more than acceptable. Friendly staff, good location, good room, comfy bed. I thought it was a good value compared to staying right downtown. Give it a shot!
Perfect little spot. Big room, a/c was noisy every now and again. Bed comfy, pillows not great, bathroom fine. Watched some tv and ordered a pizza in. Quiet...didnt hear anyone else and there were lots of vehicles in the lot
This place is a dump . Ok for a place to sleep and cheap price.
In area hard to find a good restaurants
Not so bad for a motel, I can’t expect more that enough
The staff was rude... stuff was broken
No properly clean
Add water filling system and please add fragrance to the rooms
Clean
Location.
The smell in the room was terrible. We couldn't stay and end up finding a new place.
When checking in I was surprised my an immediate $150.00 secure charge put on my credit card but when leaving the refund still hasn’t been processed a few days later. The room smelled bad, I think perhaps the carpet had been cleaned which might have caused the smell. We only stayed one night.
We arrived at the hotel at 11:02 AM and noticed from the parking lot that the reception lights had just been turned off. We knocked on the door, but no one answered. The sign posted on the door stated that the reception closes at 11:00 AM. This notice did not provide any phone number—an unacceptable situation. The staff member we managed to contact using a number found online did not understand the seriousness of the situation, and only agreed to help after we pleaded with him. The receptionist, who was clearly inside the hotel, eventually opened the door and handed us the room key with the attitude of someone who had been disturbed
Very peacefull
This hotel was in horrible condition. Carpets were dirty near the bed and along the wall. Drawers didn't have handles so couldn't be opened. Towels were very thin and a couple of were stained. Tub had parts peeling and a stain. The towel rack was missing. There were no tissues. Bedspread was old and bed was lumpy. Bathroom ceiling was peeling. The lighting wasn't great and there were no USB port. There was no clock or phone. The staff was friendly but this motel needs to be renovated. This was not a good motel for us.
Nice motel. Clean but unfortunately property is going to be redeveloped therefore it is not being maintained as it could be.
It could be so much nicer but will be torn down in the near future.
The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you!
Absolutely dirty , not worth going, no privacy
Nothng
They illegally Do Not allow service animals, even though they do Not state that in their policy, or rules… Then keep your security deposit..!
Friendly service, good location and lots of parking.
reception no one there.the room bad smell
Had most features needed, even though missing a few things.
Locking door security not the best (a neighbour got broken into). The toilet seat was broken, window screen missing and had to request a chair to be able to work on desk. I didn't like the need for a damage deposit--why I had them note the deficiencies & physically check the room on departure to make SURE they didn't charge me extra for anything. Also found I picked a bad location to get to my meeting place as got stuck in traffic jams and missed the first 2 hours of the meeting--however, this has nothing to do with "Green Gables", just Toronto itself.

Great motel and great stay for a trip. Only complaint is that the air conditioner was older which wouldn’t be an issue but the heater that was in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off all the way making it to where the ac and heat would be fighting with each other and the temp wouldn’t be stable. Shut the bathroom door though and it fixed it. Will be staying again!
It was fine had some problems but were fixed upon telling staff. Gave me a floor room, saved me walking up stairs. All in all great stay!!!
never heard there was a breakfast
blankets for the bed would have been nice ,there was a bottom sheet and bedspread
The Tv was not working. The bed had no blanket just sheets and an ancient bed spread on it. The pillow cases were shades of grey The phone kept ringing with no one there after we changed rooms because of the faulty tv Staff were hard to understand
What a dive. $135 a night. Everything is old. Rips and wear on the chairs. Springs poking out of the mattress. Tv picture was distorted. Ice machine is locked at 9pm. Toilet seat was worn. Couple fighting in next room till 5 am. Mini fridge made noises all night. Bathroom window had a broken hinge so had to keep it locked. Hot room even though we didn't have the heat on. Told the girl at the desk and she didn't seem to care. Had to leave a $150 deposit for damages on our credit card so we made her go check the room before we left and she said it was good. Sketchy place.
Room was not ready to occupy. TV was not working. Carpet was dirty.
Location
Stayed for a week with great overall services! I wonder if there's a way to provide small detergent packs next time, as travellers often can't fly with liquids and stores only sell very large amounts. Difficult to find someone who can just sell 1 or 2 detergent pods. Would have been willing to pay for it even. Great overall! Thanks!
Peaceful
Old property

Good location.
one very soft pillow. Needed 2 more preferably firm.pillows. No extra blankets in drawers. Door needed fixing. It opened up at four in the am. Scared me . Had to put chair under handle. Base in bathroom Very dirty.
Toilet paper holder was barely doing its thing, flush nob was falling apart on every flush, towels were stained. However, the floor was clean, had microwave, and center lighting. Area is quiet, but that's because there's nothing near it. You can get okay stays, but don't expect anything fancy here.
Staff was very helpful with navigating to and from the Go train station.
No complaints here. I enjoyed my stay & would recommend
Reasonable room for the price, some water damage issues on the ceiling, pillows could have been better, but overall it was ok for the price
Thos property was a place to lay my head for a decent price. There was a large indent in the bed that proves they need new mattresses. The room was clean but the heating system is old and not great. They have no dead bolt but automatically locking doors. I didnt feel safe but i didnt feel unsafe.
No breakfast, no coffee available
The room was decently clean. The blanket on the bed was very thin, and the towels were small and thin. The room could definitely use some upgrades, the bathroom floor looks very old. There were some old cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling. The shower makes a loud squealing noise when you turn the faucet hotter. The toilet paper holder was broken. Overall it was an ok place to sleep.
Good
1. Most of towels have yellow stains 2. The sewage treatment plant is near by, air quality is disgusting 3. We stayed 3 nights, not once did we have room service.
The motel was in a good position for anyone with a car & wanting to explore the area. Lots of small businesses within easy reach, with lots of eateries and a brewery just along the road. The lakeside parks were as peaceful as Green Acres and a good picnic destination. Heaps of parking.
Rooms were not regularly serviced but the were very clean
Very clean initially, large car park in a handy position
Staff & guests were not outgoing & towel change was not regular
We liked how clean it is however it does need a small upgrade ( i.e. new shower curtain and new bed spread ) . The microwave and fridge were handy. There is no coffee machine in the room, which is pretty well standard in motels.
