Family run Guesthouse it’s a nice place to stay. We chose cheap room and it was perfectly clean with modern bathroom, tv ( Netflix etc. ) and grate aircon. Welcoming coffee etc. Really nice place. We arrived late past 9.00pm and tried to contact host by the phone number provided to gain access unfortunately his phone was out of range so if you encounter same issue just shout Ayo. Works everywhere - every time. That’s family establishments so someone is always home.

The owners are so friendly and make a good breakfast. The place was very clean and comfy. We rented a scooter from the owners for 400 pesos per day. The beds were comfy, aircon worked well, showers were cold or hot. Drinking water provided. They stayed up late to check us in at midnight. The area was a very local feel.

The location may be inconvenient for those who don’t have a scooter but otherwise everything is perfect!

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at RNA Guesthouse and truly enjoyed every moment. We were specifically looking for a quiet, laid-back area away from the busy tourist spots like Panagsama Beach or White Beach, and this place was perfect for that. The only noise we heard came from roosters in the neighborhood, which is quite common in Moalboal, so bringing earplugs might be a good idea. The family running the guesthouse was incredibly warm and accommodating. Drinking water (including hot water) was available for free, and breakfast was offered at a very reasonable price. Had we known earlier, we definitely would have taken advantage of it more often. Whenever we needed transportation, the owner quickly arranged a tricycle for us—always fast, convenient, and reliable. You could also rent motorbike through the owner. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. In front of the rooms, there is a nice common area with sofas, tables and chairs where you can relax, play cards, or enjoy a drink after spending time at Panagsama Beach, which also offers a wide range of restaurants. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality. The best we experienced during our time in the Philippines. A 7-Eleven is about a 15–20 minute walk away. We bought drinks there and stored them in the shared fridge, which was accessible at all times and very useful during our stay. Another highlight was the excellent service provided by the owner when organizing tours. Everything was very flexible, we could even one day in advance and choose our preferred time and mode of transport. Being from Switzerland, I really appreciate punctuality, and everything was perfectly on time. We booked two tours through the guesthouse: one to visit the three highest peaks in Cebu by motorbike, and another to Sumilon Island. After comparing prices with other operators, we saved several thousand pesos by booking directly with the owner.

Très bon accueil, hôte très sympathique et serviable. La chambre est très bien et très Propre, eau chaude , clim silencieuse. Un frigo dehors est à disposition. L'emplacement un peut à l'écart mais très calme , avec le scooter loué sur place c'est parfait.

The location is actually not that good. It's pretty far away from the main beach. You should probably take a tuk-tuk or walk 40 minutes.

So far the best place I stayed in Cebu. Its owned by a family and they are ALL super nice, funny and caring. I felt at home and they looked after me. The room was super clean, big and confortable. They can rent bike if needed. They have a small bar where you can buy drinks and beer as well as small snacks. I don’t eat breakfast but every morning I got my cup of coffee with them. 10 minutes walk you have JGs grill which is really good and affordable compared to price in the touristic places. It’s 10 minutes walk from the center of Moalboal. It’s a safe and quiet area and I walk there at night by myself. It’s only 10/15 minutes bike to Basdiot which is the extremely touristy area. It’s 20 minutes bike by bike to the white beach. The location is perfect as it’s a quiet area near everything. A special thanks to Vicky!!

Rico and his family are great hosts. They offered not only a good room but also helpful advice on where to eat and go, and they rented us almost new scooters in excellent condition. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a brand new, super quiet AC. They provided us with free drinking water, and the common area is equipped with a fridge and a kettle. Restaurants and cafes are in the walking distance.

Neighbours roosters were mentally loud. Earplugs are must.

La habitación es muy cómoda y el baño cuenta con ducha de agua caliente, algo que realmente se agradece en Filipinas. El personal es súper amable y hace todo lo posible para que te sientas a gusto. La señora Vicky es un amor. Hay dispenser de agua fría y caliente, café y dos tazas en la habitación. El aire acondicionado está disponible (yo no lo utilicé porque no me gusta), y tras pedirlo me facilitaron un ventilador sin problema. Eché de menos algún estante para la ropa, ya que solo hay perchas para colgar y ningún espacio donde apoyar o doblar prendas. El alojamiento está bastante apartado. Si buscas tranquilidad, esto es un punto a favor, pero conviene saber que no hay absolutamente nada cerca y que para cualquier cosa necesitas moverte en moto. Lo recomiendo, pese a los puntos negativos que mencionaré en el apartado correspondiente.

Como puntos negativos, considero importante mencionar dos situaciones: Al alquilar la moto directamente allí, me colocaron un soporte para el móvil (GPS) que estaba roto. Durante el trayecto se desprendió en plena ruta y el móvil cayó al asfalto. Por suerte, y literalmente por milagro, el coche que venía detrás no lo pisó. Al regresar al alojamiento y comentar lo ocurrido, el señor no pareció sorprendido; por sus gestos y la conversación en su idioma con su señora, dio a entender que ya sabía que el soporte estaba en mal estado. Me parece un hecho grave, ya que podría haber provocado un accidente serio. Por otro lado, había quedado acordado el día anterior que el señor estaría en recepción a la hora de mi salida para llamarme un tuk tuk. Sin embargo, a la hora pactada no había nadie. Tuve que dejar las llaves y marcharme caminando. Quiero aclarar que no creo que ninguna de estas situaciones haya ocurrido con mala intención; se nota que son buena gente. Aun así, considero necesario mencionarlo para que se tenga en cuenta y pueda mejorar la experiencia de futuros huéspedes.

Quiet location but close to everything. Super friendly and helpful family made everything easy.

Es war ruhig, da die Apartments weg von der Straße liegen, was uns wichtig war, da wir mit einem Säugling gereist sind. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles super sauber. Die Gastgeber waren extrem hilfsbereit und nett und haben uns spontan geholfen, als wir Probleme mit einer Fährverbindung hatten.

Das RNA Guesthouse ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist günstig, sauber und hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Das Wlan und die Klimaanlage funktionierten ebenfalls super. Das Zimmer ist grosszügig gestaltet und vor dem Zimmer gibt es sogar einen kleinen Gemeinschaftsbereich. Jeder hatte ein kleines Tischchen mit zwei Stühlen. Es war sehr gemütlich hier den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Die Betreiber waren sehr sehr freundlich. Sie haben uns für wenig Geld einen Roller organisiert. Auch den Transfer vom Flughafen nach Moal Boal und die Weiterreise nach Panglao haben sie für uns gebucht. Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert und wir hatten einen sehr aufmerksamen Fahrer. Auf Nachfrage haben sie sogar unsere Wäsche gewaschen, das war sehr nett & wirklich günstig. Man ist hier wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben. ☺️ Die Lage war etwas ausserhalb und daher schön ruhig. In ca. 10 Minuten ist man mit dem Roller im Zentrum (wo es diverse Restaurants gab), sowie am Meer.

Man konnte die Zimmernachbarn gut hören & unsere waren leider nicht sehr ruhig. 😉

First we love the owners! They are very kind & accommodating! They even let us have some of their fruits & vegetables in their private garden. They also have share kitchen and tables and chairs just outside of our room so that we can eat after cooking. The bathroom is also clean and water pressure is strong. The rooms are clean too.

Maybe sometimes there are caterpillars 🐛 outs side & sometimes in the bathroom. But it can’t be help as it is a province area. Also our tv didn’t work properly compared to to my friends room which it work.

The local is far from beach and restaurants, so you have to go by scooter or they catch for you tricycle to take you to the beach… but it’s also benefit because they were very quiet…

Great Guesthouse with nice hosts. The location is a little bit outside of town. I definitely recommend getting a scooter because the tuktuks in town usually won't drive for less than 150-200 pesos. The hosts were happy to help us with any problems. They also got us a taxi to cebu for only 2500 pesos which was way less than what we managed to haggle.

The hosts are so lovely, kind and caring! I was able to rent a scooter from the accommodation directly which enabled me to see most of the South Island and get into town easily. I ordered breakfast each morning which was so perfect and convenient. Everyone made sure I was really looked after and I loved my stay. Super quiet, clean and good AC!

Pillows could have been a little better that’s the only 1 thing I could fault if I had to say something :)

Quiet Guesthouse owned by friendly family. Clean rooms with ac. You can easily rent out great scooters at the accommodation to go to moalboal or the beaches around.

The property was decorated beautifully, the rooms were very clean, the staff was great! Extremely welcoming and friendly. Anything we needed, RNA was able to provide (food, transportation, tours, recommendations). We will definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to Moalboal!

My entire experience in staying here was amazing. The room was clean and well kept. They change the AC unit coz the previous was already bad. But more than facility, it was Nanay and Tatay (forgot their name coz im a dori) made me feel home 😩 I dont wanna leave but I have to go back to Manila for a bit. They're very accomodating and helpful they even lend me their water heater when they learned I work at night. They ask me hows my day and where I went everyday. They went above and beyond. I honestly feel home. I am coming back and will definitely stay at RNA again. Thank you po. See you soon!
