Great central location. Nice big rooms. Would highly recommend it to anyone staying in staying in Old Town Chania.

The balcony was great.

It was in a great location right on the edge of old town. It was extremely clean. It had all the things you needed like a hot water pot and a fridge. The beds were comfy. The host, George, was very friendly greeting me with a shot of raki. The staff was generally very accommodating.

The way the shower is designed it tended to get the bathroom floor wet, so be sure to put towels in front of the shower door. Concerning the fridge, it has a plastic key card that you have to insert in order to get electricity. Thus when you leave, there is no electricity and the fridge is not freezing or cooling things while you’re gone. It sometimes has a lot of street noise. Our room was up a narrow, curving staircase but has a bannister.

Proximity to port, restaurants, cafes etc.

On the ground floor the windows have no sound insulation. Therefore sometimes it’s really easy to hear people behaving loudly outside

La posizione è perfetta per girare il centro storico di Chania.

Essendo nel centro storico, vicino ai molti ristoranti e locali, è un po’ rumorosa specie la notte e la mattina presto.

Extremely close to the Old Venetian Harbour as well as the main bus station in Chania, very easy to walk around Old Town to good food and sights.

Due to the age of the property, there was not any exhaust fan in the bathroom which made the humidity harder to manage. The balcony doors as the main form of ventilation aside from the air conditioning made keeping the room bug free a slight challenge.

Stanza situata tra le vie centrali di Chania, a pochi metri dall'antico porto veneziano e dai numerosi ristoranti e bar della città. Accoglienza ottima da parte dell'host che ci ha fornito numerosi consigli su dove mangiare e cosa visitare. A qualche minuto a piedi si trova il Parking Plaza dove parcheggiare l'automobile

Very friendly and service oriented staff and owner. I had asked for a late checkoit due to worsened health and it was granted without extra cost. The place is near taver a Ela, in a heart of the old town.

It is a bit noisy as there is a lot of movement outside, but we did have a room on the ground floor, other rooms might be different. It was not too bad, in comparison to other hotels where guests come and go all night long. It was just early in the morning delivery to local cafe, and because the bed was comfy I had a good night sleep.

Great location for the Old Town of Chania - very helpful owner who couldnt be more helpful. Have there before and would do so again in the future.

There isnothing to dislike - the room rate is appropriately priced. The neighbours were a biy noisy one night but that not afault of the facility.

Everything was great. It’s a beautiful place to stay right in the heart of the old town but no noise at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The huge terrace is wonderful.

Nasz pokój znajdował się na parterze a okno na wysokości przechodzących osób, więc zasłony cały czas w użyciu. Dodatkowo bardzo mocno słyszalne nocne powroty rozbawionych osób wracających z imprez i kolacji

Posizione perfetta, la stanza con la terrazza è larga e accogliente. La terrazza è molto bella con lettini e tavolo. Buona la pulizia

Peccato per le dotazioni scarse. Anche il terrazzo non è ben valorizzato, mancava ombrellone e lettini e tavolo erano piuttosto datati, un po come tutto. Bagno angusto, doccetta wc con perdita, anche asta doccia con problemi

Es liegt halt in der Altstadt. Natürlich ist es da nachts nicht ganz leise. Hat mich aber kaum gestört.

A beautiful house full of character in the heart of Chania's Old Town. Staying here made us feel like we were experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the city. Although there was lively street life outside in the evenings, the windows provided good sound insulation and we slept very well. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming – just like the wonderful Cretan hospitality we experienced throughout our trip. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the harbour, restaurants and the central bus station, which made getting around very easy. We would gladly stay here again.

Sehr netter Empfang und es gab ein UpGrade....wir waren in einem Stock höher und das hat die Nachtruhe erleichtert! Vielen lieben Dank dafür!!! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen..in Chania gibt es immer wieder neue Ecken zu erkunden. Elias ist noch gegen 22h ins Meer gestiegen :-)) Ich wusste halt wo es lang geht :-)

Lovely place, spotlessly clean in an amazing location central to everything. Just outside the door is a wonderful restaurant and it’s a very short stroll to the harbour. The bed was very comfortable, the room was ground floor, but we didn’t hear a thing.

Beautiful building, amazing location and extremely warm and friendly host. The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve slept on at an accommodation in a long time!

It has great modern renovations. Minor details with lightbulbs or bathroom splash guard can be corrected. Overall, very large and comfortable.

The host was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to help me out. Room spacious with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Great location.

The location comes with a price- it is rather noisy, as people walk by directly in front of the window. So you need to have the blinds closed and aircon on, if you want some privacy.

We were completely amazed by this stay. The host met us personally, told the story about the building and adviced some spots to visit! He was really friendly and kind! The view out of the balcony is amazing! Everything was tidy and convenient, thank you so much for this special stay! Want to come back!

Zentrale Lage

Leider war das Bett nicht sauber bezogen, Haare und kleine Flecken. Da das Gebäude sehr alt ist waren die Fenster leider auch sehr hellhörig und man hört den Trubel von draußen. Darüberhinaus gab es im Bad an einigen Stellen Schimmel an Wand und Decke.

La camera è davvero spaziosa, con un'ampia terrazza. Il fatto di essere un po' rientrante grazie alla terrazza fa sì che non si odano rumori nonostante sia in pieno centro. I proprietari sono squisiti: Georgios mi ha subito offerto il suo ottimo Raki alla ciliegia, che dopo il limoncello bevuto al ristorante mi ha dato il colpo di grazia facendomi addormentare all'istante! Fin da subito, sono stati tutti molto amichevoli: Anna ha pulito la camera in tempo record per permetterci di fare il check-in anticipato, Georgios ci ha sempre accolte con simpatia. Ciliegina sulla torta: la sera prima della partenza, Georgios ha regalato una splendida collanina a mia figlia. Davvero un pensiero gentile e apprezzato!

The location of this apartment is outstanding. You step out onto the street, and you are in Old Town Chania (pedestrian zone). This is really the main value of this apartment. And we loved walking in Chania Old Town at night. We were greeted by George who was very friendly and tried to be helpful (see below regarding finding the apartment). The apartment has a queen bed (comfy) and a sofa bed (single, also comfy and good mattress), but it is otherwise rather tiny. The bathroom looks like done recently and has nice tiles and looks clean. It's small, but it has a shower, sink and WC.

Since the apartment is in the pedestrian zone, you cannot park a car to unload. We found a paid parking garage (Cane parking) nearby, but it costs € 27 per night max. The walk from there to the apartment could be 10 minutes, but using Apple Maps with the address was totally misleading. It sends you into the pedestrian zone and had us ending up in front of a Nike store. I called the number and reached George, who tried to explain, but we were lost again and again, until somebody from a store was so friendly as to find the place while my daughters waited with the heavy luggage. By that time I was rather frustrated (and drenched in sweat). It turns out that you MUST USE google maps (NOT APPLE maps), to get reasonable directions. The overall experience of finding this apartment could be much, much improved with some screenshots of maps and directions, as well as pictures of the apartment's exterior and the surrounding restaurants. This frustrating experience was totally unnecessary. I have seen many occasions when hosts provide great screenshots or short videos up front, which makes it really easy to find a place. Also, the instructions on where the keys are to be found came really late (it is too late if that is done 24 hours before, as most people are traveling and often don't have internet access at that time). The apartment is rather tiny. The kitchen area is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The kitchen area is tiny and only has a fridge and a sink. It has a balcony (with a table and 4 chairs, though the table is somewhat worn) and a clothes-drying rack, but there is NO shade on the balcony, so it is unusable during the day. The shower drain in the bathroom is not functional, it has the water back up within seconds. The shower glass is not covering enough and the water from the shower spills into the bathroom floor even if one tries hardest to squeeze into the corner and avoid that. You end up with a totally flooded bathroom floor.

Lovely host, great location in old building and pedestrian area, comfortable bed and modern bathroom.

Upon arrival, I went to shower and found two thick sponge foam mats absolutely sodden. Unhygienic and disgusting.I left immediately and asked for a refund. I was only refunded 50%. I was told 'there were two mats for you to step on, when entering and exiting the bathroom. I don't see what the problem is'. Well, Mike, you clearly didn't step on them.

The hotel is in an excellent central location, right next to the old harbor and the main square, where buses and taxis pass through regularly. The owner and staff are very kind, polite, and always ready to help with any requests. Overall, it is a lovely and charming place in a very convenient location.

The host George was a lovely friendly guy. He made us feel instantly welcome.

Das Bad war nicht ordentlich geputzt und nach dem duschen stand das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Durch die zentrale Lage hört man natürlich den ganzen Lärm der Innenstadt.

Location was great. Housekeeping staff friendly and efficient. Our host manager George was amazing. Thank you so much, esp George, you made our stay great!

Small issue with shower screen not keeping water in shower area. Kitchen had no microwave and not really a problem but a basic requirement even in a kitchenette. Our sun terrace was great, table seen better days but was old like me.

Balcony Central

Met when we arrived Monday never saw anyone adter and left Wednesday morning just putting keys into a. Box . No contact details for emergencies we had to lock hotel door. Room not cleaned, bin in shower room not emptied Tuesday . Hugely disappointing

Because it's an old building in a lively part of the old town, it was a little bit noisy.

This is a very unique property, right in the heart of old town. George was a fabulous host as well, very welcoming!

La gentillesse du propriétaire et ses conseils. C'est pourquoi la note est de 4 et pas de 1.

Le bruit. La chambre est au rez-de-chaussée et la fenêtre donne sur une rue très très bruyante avec plusieurs restaurants. Il est impossible de dormir même fenêtre fermée. On entend la moindre conversation de la rue. Les draps étaient un peu juste pour la largeur du lit. La douche n'a pas de rideau, il y a de l'eau partout. A éviter si vous voulez dormir.

Nous avons pensé que l’emplacement serai bon mais la rue est extrêmement bruyante de 7 h à 2 h le matin. Il y a un restaurant juste en bas avec une terrasse très bruyante.

Le bruit extérieur. Le manque d’insonorisation des portes et fenêtres. Le manque d’aération de la salle de bain.

Bizi ev yapimi raki ile karsiladilar, tesisin yeri cok merkezi ve eski sehir bolgesinde kalmasina karsin ulasimi kolay. Oda imkanlari yeteliydi. Balkonlu bir oda ricamiz vardi, kalmadigi icin bizi daha buyuk bir odaya upgrade ettiler cok tesekkur ederiz.

Bina cok eski bir bina, disaridan girdiginizde kendine has bir eski kokusu var. Sokak ustunde yaya trafiginin yogun oldugu bir bolgede karsisinda restaurantlar oldugu icin biraz gurultulu olabilir.

Modtagelsen, sengen, beliggenheden, alt var super godt.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Dasyra. The host greeted us on arrival and helped with luggage (and gave us some excellent dining recommendations). The room was huge, with a large balcony and kitchenette. The location was excellent.

There is light from the main staircase that comes in from an internal window. Not a problem unless you are sensitive to a bit of light at night..!

We stayed one night as we were passing through Chania. It was a short walk to the bus station. The host was warm and welcoming.

Casa Dasyra in Chania was one of the coziest places I stayed in Greece. The staff was always kind, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the first moment. The room was spotless, beautifully arranged, and had the perfect layout to relax after long days exploring the city. They even welcomed me with a homemade raki made by them, which gave the experience such a warm and authentic local touch. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the port, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and minimarkets, making everything very convenient. An amazing price-quality ratio and a place I would absolutely stay at again.

In der Hochsaison würde ich dieses Zimmer nicht nehmen, da im Erdgeschoss direkt mit Fenster in die belebte Fußgängerzone. Zimmer weiter oben wahrscheinlich besser.

Sehr sympathisches kleines Hotel. Mitten im venezianischen Viertel. Unkompliziert. Sehr nette Menschen, die es managen. Bad: Toller Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Wunderbar luxuriöse Handtücher. Licht: Man hat besser eine Taschenlampe zur Hand, wenn man die Türe von innen abschließen will - denn ohne Schlüssel funktioniert das Licht nicht. Entweder Licht an oder: Schlüssel zum Abschließen in der Hand. Das Zimmer parterre im Eingangsbereich ist schön, aber man hört jeden, der am Haus vorbeigeht - und auch alle, die in unmittelbarer Nähe in den Bars und Restaurants sitzen. Bis 1h ist somit Programm. Die Lage ist nämlich top: mittendrin und nah am Hafen. Und auch zum Busbahnhof sind es höchstens 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Empfehlenswert.

Es una casa en el casco antiguo. La habitacion del segundo piso por escalera es muy amplia, con un balcon terraza precioso. la cama super cómoda. Además es de destacar la hospitalidad del dueño.

Lokalizacja w centrum starej Chanii a co za tym idzie na plus to wszędzie blisko, a na minus to uliczny hałas.

Ottima posizione, camera carinissima e silenziosa nonostante in centro. Proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili.

Bagno e cucina abbastanza piccoli e nn c'era la possibilità di cuocere o scaldare, quindi bisognava uscire a mangiare.

Gute Lage und moderne Ausstattung.

Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss mit Fenster zur Straße, daher kaum Tageslicht, viele Geräusche und keine Möglichkeit zu lüften. Außerdem war das Bad (und damit das Zimmer) extrem feucht, so dass die Handtücher überhaupt nicht getrocknet sind. Die Tür zum Treppenhaus wirkte nicht sehr sicher, so dass darauf vertraut werden muss, dass alle Gäste die Haustür richtig hinter sich schließen. Auch Personal ist nicht dauerhaft vor Ort, sondern (in unserem Fall) nur zur Schlüsselübergabe.

It is a very old building and probably because of this it smelt a bit musty .. the bed was very comfortable but the decor and furnishings could do with an update to brighten up the room .
