Fantastic location and incredibly helpful staff. An exceptionally clean hotel. Very little to fault.

The noise from rooms above / below / next door seemed to travel rather easily. What sounded like the noise of chairs being moved about / dragged along the floor was a little annoying at times.

Het hotel is erg gehorig, zowel van buiten als binnen. Vooral ’s avonds en heel vroeg in de ochtend was er veel geluid, waardoor ik slecht kon slapen. Het ontbijt was niet erg uitgebreid en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vonden wij niet in verhouding.

Breakfast was very nice and in a lovely square. This is an expensive hotel so I thought it was a bit cheeky that they have one menu that is included in the hotel price and then another menu for optional extras.

Its a super charming and lovely hotel. Given the price some amenities, such a fitness centre, and easier access to parking would make it more appealing and value for money.

Fantastic staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Hotel facilities are great . We were however disturbed early in the morning by loud noises which we assume were the cleaners working above , below, next door or outside our bedroom.

-leider sehr laut durch Innenstadt-Umgebung -auch im Innenhof wurde bis 1:30 Uhr morgens laut gesprochen und geräumt -wer früh schlafen möchte/muss, wird hier nicht vor 1 Uhr zu Ruhe kommen -Fenster und Türen sind scheinbar nicht isoliert

I mostly liked everything about the property . A two minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was table service and you mostly got what you ordered!

There was no outside space to sit and chill and relax… there were lots of outside eating areas but not specifically for guests to sit and chill

Excellent hôtel, sans aucune réserve, catégorie luxe mais à un prix raisonnable, beau bâtiment à superbe emplacement sur une très jolie place , en plein centre d'Estepona, et à deux pas de la plage, des restaurants etc Plusieurs restaurants dans l'hotel de styles différents mais tous très bien, petit déjeuner parfait. L'hotel vous donne également une liste d'établissements extérieurs qu'il recommande, donc vous n'êtes pas perdu ! Enfin chambre vaste, moderne et confortable !

The hotel is very smart and the rooms are modern. The turn-down service was a nice touch.

The shower only had very hot water. The restaurants and rooftop bar prioritise guests from outside the hotel rather than hotel guests - which means you have wait in very long lines to access those amenities. This is annoying considering the hotel doesn't have a spa or pool. In the rooms you can hear music until around midnight so don't stay if you want to sleep before then (it's really loud). I travel and stay at luxury hotels often, and my interpretation is that they are trying to do luxury but aren't there yet. For management I would recommend implementing a reservation system for hotel guests for the rooftop bar in particular. Also please implement noise insulation for the rooms.

Ubicación extraordinaria, con una recepción y atención fabulosa, las mujeres nos atendido increíblemente bien. Te sirven una copa de cava rosada al ingresar. Todo el personal amable, no solo en recepción, también las mucamas, el botones.En realidad, es un hotel 5 estrellas, servicio, atención, instalaciones, el dormitorio fabuloso, limpieza extraordinaria, cómoda cama y aseo impecable, con productos de calidad. Además, hemos podido disfrutar del desayuno en Casa Fina, que por cierto, no es necesario salir del hotel, para tener una buena gastronomía española, la gente muy amable. Estamos encantados, la verdad. La azotea tiene vistas fabulosas a Estepona, no hemos podido degustar los otros dos restaurantes, para una próxima ocasión. Los ameneties, maravillosos y de muy buena calidad, son detalles que se han perdido en los Hoteles; y aquí , aún los mantienen, fabuloso !!!! Bernard y Cristian (Bélgica)

Todo perfecto, pero si pudieran en algún rincón instalar una piscina, sería fabuloso; sin embargo, estaba cerca de la playa (ofrecen toallas para la playa, un buen detalle).

La struttura è molto bella, la posizione è comoda per raggiungere spiaggia e centro città. La terrazza la sera è perfetta, ma la cosa che mi è piaciuta è soprattutto la gentilezza e professionalità dello staff.

We couldn’t have picked a better base for our stay in Estepona than Hotel El Pilar Andalucia. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional — attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is unbeatable. Set right in the heart of the old town, overlooking a gorgeous square, we were surrounded by buzzing bars and fantastic restaurants just steps from the front door. The beach was only a two-minute walk away, making it easy to flit between soaking up the sun and exploring the charming, flower-lined streets Estepona is famous for. Our room was spotless and clearly well looked after, with housekeeping keeping everything fresh and tidy every day. And the hotel’s own restaurant deserves a special mention — the food and drink were an easy 10/10, some of the best we had during our entire trip. Whether you’re after a romantic getaway or just a relaxed base to explore this beautiful part of the Costa del Sol, Hotel El Pilar Andalucia ticks every box. We’ll definitely be back!

The decoration and attention to detail this hotel has is amazing! The service was incredible, me and my partner only stayed for the weekend, but we experienced such a pleasant stay! They offered us champagne as soon as we arrived and they took our bags to our room for us while we were sorting out the check-in. Everything went very quickly and smoothly. The rooftop was also magical. Our room was beautiful, clean and tidy. We will definitely be coming back! 100% recommend anyone coming to Estepona or Marbella. It’s also a 2 minute walk to the beach! (BONUS)

Location is perfect, beautiful rooms with nice interior and a terass. Breakfast was great ordering what you like and sitting outside in the square.

Die Konzeption ist supertoll. Wenig Zimmer, viel Gastronomie, mitten im Ort und 2 Minuten zum Strand. Und vor allem: Sehr freundliches Personal.

Ein Teil der Zimmer hatte Schwierigkeiten mit der Temperatur. Das Personal hat umgehend zielorientiert reagiert. Eine nachhaltige Verbesserung wurde zugesagt.

Very nice property in the heart of Estepona. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained. The location is amazing, staff is very knowledgeable amd friendly. They have a very nice roof top bar and two restaurants. The beach is in easy walking distance and the hotel provides beach towels. Parking is in walking distance and the hotel has a preferred rate. We'll come back.

We encountered a fairly major issue when we arrived and during our stay, Hotel offered us a couple of solutions as a compensation for this, we accepted the one that suited us best and have no regrets, this hotel is simply wonderful. The lobby is magnificent, plush and comfortable, immaculately clean, as was the whole hotel, designed with a fine eye to detail but refined. Room was everything we needed, with all the expected amenities to a good standard. Food;- Breakfast was first rate, loads of choices and all great quality. We had snacks at Coopers, Tapa's at Don Rudolfo, diner at Pan Asian, all of them recommended. Roof top bar very pleasant, can get busy, but just come back later. Staff, helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault it, loved our week's stay.

We tried to upgrade to a larger room/apartment as our daughter decided to join our weekend trip. There was nothing available except a room without air conditioning which we accepted even so the temperature was around 35C. The issue was that initially we were told that this room will have a modest price but at checkout the price was 300€.

De standaard kamer. Prijs-kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Kleine donkere bedompte kamer en douche. Rook ook erg muf. Wij werden overgeplaatst naar een grotere kamer omdat de airco stuk was. Dat was voor ons een geluk bij een ongeluk. Voor mensen met een glutenvrij dieet is het ontbijt matig en gv brood is van slechte kwaliteit. Ook bij gewoon ontbijt afbak croissants en afbak zoete koek ipv verse producten van de bakker. Voor deze prijsklasse verwacht je dat wel. Ook geen verse jus maar uit een pak. Veel geluid hoorbaar in de kamer. Zowel van binnen als buiten het hotel. Ook iedere dag veel rumoer bij ontbijt buiten door harde geluiden van bouwactiviteiten naast het hotel. Daardoor ontbrak er een rustige sfeer wat juist zo fijn is op deze locatie in de ochtend.

This is our third stay at this hotel. The location is excellent overlooking a pretty square. It is just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the paseo maritimo, and the chiringuitas must be tried.The staff are very friendly and helpful.We had a room overlooking the square which was quite spacious. Breakfast is a delight and can be taken outside which is lovely in the warm weather. A very good choice of food, beautifully presented. Recommended.

Really great location in the heart of Estapona, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The roof top bar has lovely views at sunset. The staff were also extremely friendly.

Our room gave onto the central atrium where the reception is located and which people cross coming in and out of the various bars and restaurnts on site, so there can be some noise.

Onze kamer (104)lag op het eerste verdiep met aan de voorkant het restaurant en aan de zijkant een bar.. kamer is niet goed gesoleerd. Heel rumoerig. voor ontbijt kon je a la carte kiezen. Spijtig was het diepvries ( croissant, broodjes,.. alles ter plaatse afgebakken en niet altijd zoals het hoort). ook de detox sappen waren niet vers parking is 5 minuten wandelen. in hotel betalen : 14€/dag prijs/ kwaliteit niet voldoende voor ons. 5 dagen à 2084€

Perfect location on the main square of the Historic District, lovely decoration, spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast, close to the beach , restaurants and excellent service. One of the best hotels I have ever visited.

Beautiful location over looking the square and 2 minutes walk to the beach, promenade and boutique shops. The room was big, spotlessly clean and the decor was lovely. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. Overall we loved it. It’s a shame we only stayed 1 night. Hopefully we will make it back.

We were delighted with our 6 night stay at Hotel El Pilar Andalucia from start to finish. Hotel El Pilar Andalucia is comfortably located in Estepona, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The property is charming, well decorated, clean and inviting. All of the staff is welcoming and attentive. We began each morning with a delicious breakfast, while enjoying a view of the lovely square. After the day’s wanderings, whether for a drink or simply to take in the view, the rooftop terrace is a must in the evening! We will be back to peaceful Estapona and Hotel El Pilar Andalucia!

The food was outstanding - Starters - Pili Prawns & Ham Coquettes followed by the Spaghetti Vongole & Confit of Ducks Leg with Honey & Ginger was cooked to perfection but was served with no Vegetables. The Pink Cava Rose & Red Rioja were excellent. The service was good. We would return the next time we visit.

This is a stunning boutique hotel with a beautiful Andalusian cocktail bar on the rooftop overlooking flower square. We stayed two nights which was long enough for what we wanted to do. Lovely market on Sunday and we did a 2 hour boat trip which was great fun, saw lots of dolphins swimming along the side of the boat. The hotel staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for us, breakfast was served to us and a good choice. Very clean and a great location.

The hotel is wonderfully located and very attractive and comfortable. The room and shower facilities were very good and the room was cleaned to a high standard.

I did think the only aspect which let the hotel down was the breakfast. The full English was good but I had an omelette which was overcooked both details and the variety of options on the menu were limited especially for this class of hotel. The staff however were very nice

Beautiful boutique hotel set on a quiet picturesque square close to the beach, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Three excellent restaurants within the hotel; lovely views from the rooftop bar and restaurant. Guest rooms and suites are spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. Staff is gracious, helpful and speak multiple languages. Self Parking garages nearby.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a lovely hotel, wonderful staff, excellent location, and our very favorite destination and hotel from the many in which we have stayed through numerous visits to Spain over the years.
