Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The location is excellent. If you've endured a German railway journey and don't fancy a Saturday (or any other...) night arrival at Amsterdam Centraal (and more time on the accursed train...) , this is an excellent option. Come out of the correct station exit - follow the direction of the lower number platforms, turn left at the ticket barrier - and it's a minute's walk from the station. Great for a night, genial staff, clean, comfortable and the facilities work.
Third stay here so no material issues - the rooms are on the "cosy" side and an electric kettle in the room would be a dream come true.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Everything was great. This hotel is modern, staff polite and friendly, our room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable. We liked that there weren't any cushions and a runner on the bed, more hygienic. Breakfast was good on the terrace on the sunny mornings.
Too small window in our room, 202, therefore our room was a little bit dark. And, it was hard to switch air conditioning off.

Was disappointed 2nd to last day of my stay. As after been out all day biking, i found my room not to have been cleaned, reported it to the reception staff , and they said it would be cleaned the next day. So the next day I came back from biking, to find the bed and especially the pillows had just been thrown together like a 5 year old had done it. At least they emptied the bins and gave me fresh towels. Then to find out when I went for a shower that they had not filled up the liquid soap, as it was empty. There was a coffee machine down stairs next to the reception, that was free to guests, but nearly every morning, when me and my friends went to use it, we would just get black coffee and no milk , for our lattes etc. It can't be that hard for the reception staff to check this. Apart from those few things my stay was good.
