AVR Airport Deluxe Suites 6 AIRPORT FREE SHUTLE

Close to airport, very convenient

Transfer delay

It was clean and I enjoyed the free transfer to and the airport. Nothing fancy but fine for an overnight stay. There is a bakery open from 6 am to 10 pm nearby. It also serves as a mini market. There is a supermarket a bit further down. The main town of Markopoulos is about a 10 min walk - there were lots of cafes in town. Restaurant Sotiris is close by and had delicious charcoal meats.

We were in room 6 on the ground floor. It was noisy at night as it’s on the Main Street.

Everything you need to get ready for a flight.

Free shuttle Service

Great stay. If you need a place for layover in Athens, you can't find a better one. Clean, spacious, comfortable, tons of amenities including an iron and an ironing board, that iwas almost always missing at other places we stayed. And don't forget about the complimentary airport transfer. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Everything was great.

Nada ..

Location and shuttle was great for early morning flight. The apartment was clean and well equipped

Nothing

Free shuttle and amazing attention to detail

Barking dog across the street

The perfect stay. We arrived on time and had no difficulties with the hotel pickup. The airport was very busy and slow moving but the meeting was easy. Can't wait to stay again. Family of 4, easily accommodated. Excellent bakery, mini mart, and cafe just down the road.

Nice and clean.

Very clean and comfortable.

This place was a perfect location for a one night stay before our early flight out at 6:00 am. It's literally a 10 minute drive from the airport. This is basically an apartment with a full kitchen, nice balcony, and nice bathroom. It was very clean and the town seemed to be quiet and safe. We arranged with the host to be picked up at 3:30 am for a ride to the airport, and his father picked us up in his taxi right on time.

We had a wonderful stay at AVR Airport Deluxe Suites. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They picked us up and also brought us to the Airport, which made our trip very comfortable and stress-free. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality.

There was nothing significant to complain about. Everything met our expectations

The accomodation had everything you could possibly need. Lift to second floor. Pick up and drop off

The location was great. We were able to walk to an evening market and celebration which is not something we originally planned.

It was a good - and reasonable- alternative to the overpriced other hotels near the airport. It was functional and very clean. It also a great location if you want to explore some of the historic sites in the area. The town centre is quite vibrant but around d a 1km walk from the property.

A comfortable chair would be a good addition, and definitely better quality sheets, which were synthetic and thin.

The location was great. Safe, quiet neighborhood and walkable distance to multiple restaurants. Also, the owner provided free shuttle service was incredible and so convenient for my arrival and departure (and also made checking out so much easier!). Akis was very friendly and helpful. If I have another overnight layover or short stay in the Athens area, I will definitely be trying to rebook with him. The facilities were great and the bed was extremely comfortable. That was the best sleep I had in a week.

There wasn't anything about my stay that was inconvenient or that I didn't like.

Muito bom quarto e os equipamentos. Bem localizado.

A internet nao funcionou.

Akis was great and picked us up from the airport. It was very close and a short drive. The property was as promised and very clean and quiet. He picked us up again early for a flight and was there on time. Very helpful!

Only one minor issue - not enough hot water for 5 people to shower. The water heater is solar and we arrived after dark. Not much of an issue - we only stayed one night and some showered later. But be aware if you need a lot of hot water.

Short drive from the airport, and a driver was provided for free.

The room was large, comfortable, clean, new and had an amazing terrace from which to watch the sunset.

Everything was amazing, including Fios & Electra who gave us lots of help!

Beautiful apartment

The property was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were extremely pleasant to communicate with and the free shuttle to the airport in the middle of the night was on time and courteous. I could not ask for more!

The property was spotless with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The balcony was very large with a lovely view. The bed was comfortable as was the fold out. Akis was extremely pleasant and punctual. He showed us a cafe a very short walk away with a convenience store attached.

Nothing.

Such a handy service to and from the airport. Quaint local town square close by. Excellent coffee 100 metres from accommodation.

Close to the airport with easy to arrange & convenient free shuttle service. Good affordable & tasty food options with walking distance. Big balcony.

A bit loud due to airport & highway proximity.

Close to the airport

Perfect fantastic room close to airport. Shuttle service exceptional, with wonderful, informative host.

Convenient location from the airport. Spacious apartment with a huge balcony and mountain view. Modern building with functional space. The Host was carrying and highly helpful

The stuff, shuttle, size of the apartment, the area.

Apartment was spacious and in good shape. Location was close to airport and in a city neighborhood, but was fairly quiet while we were there. Loved having access to kitchen area and large tv.

Return taxi shuttle was 15 minutes late.

Superbbbb

Good communication and easy pick up from and to Airport the following day w/o additional cost. Friendly staff. Great value.

No bad remarks. It was expected

La proximidad del aeropuerto

El ruido

Very clean. Very nice people. The free shuttle was amazing.

We stayed one night in a Studio with balcony. Nice large, clean, modern room on 2nd floor! Lots of amenities. Free airport shuttle was very nice and prompt; so close to airport. Perfect for stay before heading to airport.

Only cons are towels & sheets are strongly scented, but not a deal breaker (have skin sensitivity to fragrances). But, would stay here again.

Very close to the airport. Good communication. Very clean and spacious

It was very clean and nice It's looking exactly as the pictures

Airport shuttle and friendly owners

Get what you pay for, it was good so no complaints

N/A

Easy to get to, good communication

The wooden bed frame in the separate bedroom could do with upgrading, it creaked with every movement

Perfectly clean and completely household appliances available. A mini mart short walking distance is an advantage.

The air freshener bothers me a lot. I need to wear a mask to avoid my high sensitivity to non herbal scents.

The accommodations were very clean and welcoming.

The location was a little remote. There's nothing to see, but it's close to the airport.

Very spacious and modern appartament, Well equipped. Shuttle service was great - eventhough we had an early check out at 02:00 in the morning- staff was very helpfull. We had a great time! Highly recommended/

Nothing

Honestly, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. We arrived as a family, and from the very beginning we were treated in a very rude and unwelcoming way. The owner saw our 3-year-old child and immediately started complaining in a very unpleasant and disrespectful manner. Instead of showing basic understanding or hospitality, we were made to feel like we were a problem the moment we walked in. It was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing, especially for a place that is supposed to host guests. Hospitality means making people feel welcome, and unfortunately there was none of that here. The attitude of the owner was negative and unfriendly from the start. I would definitely not recommend this place, especially for families with children. If you are looking for a pleasant and respectful stay, you should probably choose somewhere else.

A large and nicely decorated room. It was equipped for long stays but I only stayed for hours rather than days. Superb large TV.

I think the signage on the building may need improving. I could not fault my taxi driver for driving past the building. He eventually had to get confirmation from some locals regarding the correct location. As there are no staff at the premises then I think it would be good if there was somewhere provided where guests could wait inside for staff to arrive to let them into their room. Waiting outside at an unknown location and hoping that someone will arrive soon is not a good time.

Everything about the room is perfect. It is very cozy and have Everything tou need for a short or long stay. The transfer from airport was great.

Nothing

Everything was exceptional - from airport transfer and ongoing communication with the host to spotless facilities and great balcony views. The location is perfect, just a short walk to a wonderful bakery and grocery store. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back when in the area.

So handy to the airport, Akis was so helpful and welcoming

Our host was so kind and accommodating! The facilities were extremely nice and clean. Our only wish is that we stayed longer!

Our flight is at 6:35 AM. The hotel owner, Mr. Akis, and his brother, Mr. Vaios (who is also the hotel owner), arrived at the hotel at 4:00 a.m. and provided two free shuttle buses (two taxis) for us (my family and two friends' families) to Athens Airport. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Mr. Grimekis Akis is a very best hotel owner we have ever met in our 23-days Mediterranean trip.

The shower uses solar energy to heat the water, but the hot water runs out quickly. It is recommended to also equip the space with an electric water heater, so that the electric water heater can be used when the solar water heater runs out.

The support of the staff.

Lovely apartment clean modern and comfortable we could not have asked for more! From airport pick up to drop off - a 10/10 stay! Thank you very much 😁 would highly recommend!

Nothing 😁

We had 2 rooms - one upstairs for 3 people and one downstairs for a couple. The door room was ok. It was clean and comfortable, a little bit small and could have been better. The upstairs room was exceptional! Nice and spacious, had a washing machine and a nice sized kitchen with more utensils than the downstairs. Close to good eateries.

There was not much to do in that area - good eateries but not much more to pass your time. Great for short stays though.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I was travelling alone and needed an overnight stay at short notice. I messaged the host the day before arriving to confirm details and got almost immediate reply. Apartment was in fabulous condition and fully equipped, even washing powder for the washing machine which I didn't need but everything you want was supplied, free air con, smart TV, shower gel, fresh towels, coffee and tea. Lovely bakery 150 meters away for breakfast. Taxi service was seamless and very efficient. Fresh, clean, comfortable and convenient.

I arrived late in the evening and left early the next day so didn't have time to explore the area much, but there didn't look to be much in the way of bars or restaurants in walking distance but there were food delivery menus available in the apartment. Hope this isn't an unfair comment, just my impression from what I could see. Host will be able to advise and arrange transport if required.

The accomodation was close to the airport and the room had everything we needed.

Despite saying free shuttle in the title, there was no free shuttle available to us. We were charged 20 euros both ways.
