Stone Cove Waterfront Adults Only B&B

First off not soundproofed could hear the neighbours all night including having to share a kitchen with them and them breaking glasses at 10pm Secondly the bed was creaky anytime you moved and shower uncomfortable the fridge made a loud noise all night and the fan made clicking noises so no matter what I did I couldn’t drown out the sound Third I expected to be able to walk around the water or access trails but it was just what you could see from your window Couldn’t use the fire the started bottle was empty and couldn’t find a lighter Breakfast was the weirdest experience felt like I was doing a grocery store sampling- cold oatmeal, olives , a cup of feta cheese (nothing to pair with) small danish, small orange juice paprika seasoned cucumbers :/ 500$ what a waste

Breakfast was good but I wish some of the options were more traditional (toast, hashbrowns, etc). I don’t typically eat cucumber and feta at breakfast.

There are no numbers on the exterior building to confirm which building you are in; breakfast times not posted - we needed to leave by 8 am & nothing was available; rooms are smallish ; high cost for less than 24 hrs as check in us late ; it should state that the living room us a common area

My newly wed husband and I chose Stone Cove as our mini-moon destination and couldn’t be happier with the property and our stay there. The property both inside and out was exceptionally clean and quiet. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Chris and Spence have clearly put a lot of thought into the decor and making their guests comfortable. We even got a handwritten note and mini bottle of champagne congratulating us on our marriage.

The owners were kind and helped us find everything we needed. The property was beautiful and peaceful with beautiful rooms. We loved everything about our stay

Beautiful property and accommodations. Excellent cleanliness. Breakfast was lovely. Chris was warm and welcoming. There was an EV charger for our car. It was a serene, peaceful, quiet and relaxing vibe.

Toilet paper could be thicker. The walkway to the property's shoreline could be made a bit smoother - very rocky, easy to twist an ankle if you're not paying attention.

The units are very quiet also good internal noise control as well. We didn't hear our neighbours. sertting is peaceful and tranquil with views and access to the lake.. Plenty of parking. Beds are comfortable, shared kitchen is well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and reasonable portions. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

The repeated template messages from management, containing overly strict and somewhat impolite instructions, felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Additionally, the refrigerator was quite noisy, which was especially noticeable given the small size of the room.

What I liked most was the view from my bedroom, how quiet and comfortable this place was, and, for sure, the healthy breakfast included

The breakfast was a good assortment of items. Loved the yogurt parfait, cottage cheese snack.

The property is a modern well-designed building at the side of Lake Huron, just a short drive or longer walk from Tobermory village. We had a ground floor room with a king size double bed and patio doors leading onto a covered verandah with hammock facing towards the lake. There are communal chairs adjacent to the lake where you can sit to watch nature world go by and see the sunset over the lake. There’s an also a fire pit that was lit at night (on request). Breakfast was great (choice of healthy options) delivered to our door so we could eat on the verandah. A very peaceful and enjoyable stay in a lovely room located in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nothing really. If I was pushed I would say remembering to take shoes off when unloading and loading luggage between the car and room as accommodation has a no shoes policy.

I stayed at Stone Cove for my babymoon, the place is so beautiful and quiet (sunsets are gorgeous) which i really needed and helped us relax. Also, it is close to all attractions, we had an amazing time :) the host was very responsive and suggested few places to visit. Thanks for making my Babymoon memorable!

Very nice accommodations with friendly and efficient service. The instructions for check in and guest information were clear. Hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions.

Our stay. at Stone Cove was absolutely wonderful. A beautiful property and the room was cozy and very clean. The breakfast was amazing and prepared with such care ! The little kitchenette with coffee and tea was very convenient and we could access it at any time. An absolutely wonderful B&B. The owners go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and happy..We will definitely be coming back for another stay. Thanks so much for the pleasant experience.

Breakfast had many choices to suite various tastes. Fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, danishes, croissants, juice, etc. The availability of coffee and tea at all times was also a plus.

Minor complaint. Sweetened yoghurt isn’t at the top of my list. With freshly cut fruit offered on the menu, why serve it with the sweetened yoghurt?

Wonderful hotel! Very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with an amazing view from the window. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and responded very quickly to all questions and messages. Even though we stayed in the colder season, late in autumn, it’s easy to imagine how incredibly beautiful it will be here in summer. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to come back! 🌟

The outside property is beautiful, unfortunately I wasn't invited to stay. For unjustified reason, the owner gladly fully refunded me upon my arrival. Maybe next time!

The location out on the lake was beautiful and the room very clean quiet and large. The local town Tobermory was walking distance and was quaint and the locals friendly. Bruce peninsular national park is all around you and there are some beautiful hiking trails to go on as well as the visitors centre that was defiantly worth a visit. We had an amazing time.

Die Zimmer- und die Badausstattung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein Elektro- Kamin von Napoleon spendet auch Wärme.Alles ist modern und neu. Es sind nur wenige Einheiten,die vermietet werden. Abends kann man den Sonnenuntergang vom Ufer des Sees bewundern.An der Terrasse des Zimmers gibt es eine Hängematte,die ich bei schönem Wetter gerne genutzt hätte.Leider war es recht kühl dort während unseres Aufenthaltes ( Anfang Oktober) In der kleinen,gemeinsamen Küche gibt es kostenlose Kaffee- Kapsel, gekühlte Milch und pflanzliche Milchalternativen. Auch eine Mikrowelle steht zur Verfügung, sowie Besteck, Teller,Servietten.

Die extreme Digitalisierung empfand ich als unangenehm,weil ich den Eindruck hatte,dass hier niemand mit dem Gast in Kontakt treten möchte. Nach dem check- in erhält man den Zugangscode.Das Frühstück wird per Online- Bestell- Formular abgeschickt.Es enthält nur kalte Speisen(Yoghurt mit Früchten, Cerealien, Mini Croissant, Hüttenkäse, ein paar Gurkenscheiben ,ein hart gekochtes Ei) Man kann 5 einzelne Positionen aussuchen. Das Frühstück wird zu der zuvor vom Gast genannten Zeit ( zw.) 8- 9 Uhr in der Kaffee- Küche zur Abholung bereit gestellt und im Zimmer eingenommen. Sehr befremdlich fand ich die Tatsache, dass man zunächst sehr ausführlich ( natürlich schriftlich) darüber informiert wurde,dass das innerhalb von 30 Min.nich abgeholte Frühstück utilisiert wird, trotzdem klopft ( hämmert? ) jemand 8 Mal ! gegen die Tür Zimmertür, sobald das vorbereitet Tablett zur Abholung bereit stand. Die Tatsache,dass man am Eingang die Schuhe ausziehen soll ( und auf Socken über die lackierten Holz- Trppenstufen gehen.Eine rutschige Angelegenheit) empfand ich als befremdlich. Mein Fazit: stylisch und modern .Die persönliche Gast-Gastgeber Beziehung haben wir vermisst.

Many rules… no shoes, strict and narrow breakfast time, had to put dishes outside very quickly, banging on door 2x when breakfast put outside room NOT welcoming…. Private property, no trespassing signs on drive way Ropes on both sides of property -neighbours obviously not keen on b n b Cameras outside everywhere

This is a great place to stay. Very new, modern and clean. The auto check-in was very simple and seamless. The staff was very helpful. Our unit looked right out over the water; beautiful. Breakfast was included and was a great start to the day. It was delivered hot and on time. We will go back to this place for sure.

The area is fantastic! Beds and pillows are great! Breakfast and service amazing too. Shower head MUST BE REPLACED/ TERRIBLE. Also no HEATING OR CONTROLLING IN BATHROOM OR MAIN ROOM! It is terrible not to have our own thermostat. Till these two issues aren’t fixed we will not recommend or come back.

Everything was clean and new, with a nice design of the room and the common area. The only complaint is the not-so-good soundproofing.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our experience was 10/10. The staff was amazing. The custom to order breakfast was out of this world. The room was spacious and spotless. The scenery surrounding our room was outstanding. The location was convenient. We look forward to a return visit.

We absolutely love the location. It was very isolated and quiet and very, very beautiful. It was amazing to wake up to the gorgeous view.

The only thing we didn’t love about the property is that behind the hotel there are some comfy Adirondack chairs where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view through the trees. It’s such a relaxing spot during the day, but at night it gets pitch dark. I wish there were some lights there so we could stay a little longer, because once it got completely dark, it felt a bit scary and uncomfortable to keep sitting outside.

Great place and location.

Stone Cove Luxury Suites, true to its name, is a super clean, new, and beautifully designed place to stay. The host was incredibly responsive and had prepared an inviting, comfortable room for us. My husband and I traveled alone and loved the tranquil atmosphere they created—it felt peaceful from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had every item we could possibly need. We were lucky to have a stunning view of the lake and a beautiful lavender field right outside our window. The suites are also just a 5-minute drive from the center of Tobermory, making it the perfect balance of convenience and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Tobermory! Our room had a private bathroom, which was super convenient and added an extra level of comfort. The kitchen and living room are shared with other guests, but everything was very well stocked, clean, and organized, so it never felt crowded. We really appreciated the coffee pods provided in the kitchen—such a nice touch! The location is great too—just a quick 4–5 minute drive into town, making it really easy to access shops, restaurants, and attractions. The view from our bedroom was absolutely beautiful and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, and well-managed place. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what I needed for a rejuvenating solo trip to explore the Bruce Peninsula. This B&B is a little piece of luxury nestled into the natural beauty of Tobermory. Would definitely book again for future trips.

View is fantastic and the property is very clean and fresh! Check in was simple and has great instruction through the link. The common area kitchen and lounge is very nice and well equipped, however, also a little difficult to be quiet with the doors and wood stairs etc. Housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating.
