DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences

Room was lovely, gym and pool was great. Staff were excellent

The pillow were too soft

NA

I have upgraded my room and to times the calls me to check out

The check-in staff were very helpful. As we arrived early, Ikram made every effort to look after us and gave us a wonderful room overlooking the front, well before the 3pm check-in time. The outside lobby staff were also very good in getting us taxis promptly. If I go again, without any hesitation will book the same hotel.

We had booked a 3 bedroom suite. They had overbooked and downgraded our room when we checked in. This was hugely inconvenient as we were travelling with 2 young kids and our elderly parents. They did nothing to accommodate and no price adjustments to my booking. We also arrived early and they wouldnt let us take our bags to their washroom to allow us to freshen up with our young kids. The laundry machine was also not working and our clothes got locked in the machine multiple times. It was a very unpleasant experience.

It was great hotel and everything was great

Large rooms with comfortable beds

This property was a big disappointment and the pictures on the site was very deceptive. They said it was a Waterfront Property, but this was not true at all. You had to cross two streets to get to another property that had water on it, this property has nothing to do with the Doubletree Hotel. The hotel and room had a moldy smell, and the furniture was very dirty and old.

Excellent hotel and brilliant staff

I certainly didnt llke the half board dinner was the same menu every single day. After two to three nights that was it.

Very new , very clean and amazing breakfast and very friendly staff and reasonable price.

The bellmen were awesome! They took care of my luggage for me quickly and efficiently. And after my check-in was complete, they brought all my bags to my room. It felt great to have such attentive bellmen.

Beautiful view and looked nice inside.

Excellent customer service

Not what i expect from uae

It was a great hotel with impeccable service

Very good location and close to all amenities

I like double tree cookies

10/10 customer service from staff at the reception desk to the housekeeping team. Cleanliness was not an issue at all as they have a team constantly making sure this is kept to the best standard. A decent range of facilities are available on the lower floors such as their gym and indoor gym. The area facing the waterfront is really nice with short access to a mosque and some restaurants. However the area behind it isn’t as good. Their food is also really good, catering to different cuisines from around the world. They offer room service for the food which is really nice. Would recommend staying here if you want a more quiet stay away from the noise downtown, still being only a 20-40 minute taxi away from anywhere!

Aya best employee

Location and safety

Great location, clean hotel and staff were great!

It is nice hotel with friendly staffs; room is clean. It has indoor swimming pool and sona. It offers variety of fresh made foods for breakfast. It has free valet parking.

Very good location, very good view, nice and clean .

Stopped for 3 night's and had to call room service 2 days running as late afternoon room hadn't been serviced. On the reverse we used in room meals.. food and service was superb.

Beautiful view, very clean

Everything was great, especialy "welcome cookies".

Good

Excellent

Amazing place. Everything was perfect. We regretted we didn’t stay 3 nights. Ask for room with lake view. Thank you guys.

Exeelent

Perfect place to stay in Sharjah Pros 1. Nearby city center, waterfront 2. Quick check in and kind 3. Great view 4. Four elevators enables quick room access 5. Sweet indoor swimming pool 6. Gym with essential equipment 7. Delicious breakfast with good view 8. Delicious welcome cookie Cons 1. Light switch in the room is kinda complicated to use 2. Motion switch under the bed sounds quite annoying I would totally recommend this place to stay and I’ll stay again.

The hotel itself is wonderful and do is the staff. Great food too. Got the half board for convinience as a solo traveler and was not disappointed. Lovely sauna spa pool area, bathrooms are nice.

Will likely to stay here on next visit

lovely rooms with amazing views. lovely hospitality. loved the indoor pool. Great breakfast. Great lobby. good staff. Location is also perfect.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

It DoubleTree and excellent always all around the world.

The Staff and view was great

Great property

Water front view is beautiful, very nice room, good fitness center. What i didnt like is that my room was infront of the elevators and i could hear nonstop their sound.

Great place to be in Sharja, a good place for the family with parks and playgrounds around. Very clean, very friendly staff, and you get to see and talk to some Sharjah FC players on match night

I Would like to thank all the staff for their kind hospitality & for sure will recommend this hotel for all friends who will visit Sharjah.

Enjoyed my stay

Amazing service!

The pillows are horrendous. Even after asking for additional pillows did not help. They are flat and uncomfortable. Had to borrow pillows from a friend for the duration of our stay. Could not have managed otherwise. The only disappointment.

Great lake view, Very poor GYM

Always a wonderful experience here

It was an amazing stay

Check in took long time. The stay was good

I stay for business and it meets my needs very well. It's away from DXB, but close enough to be viable for taxis back and forth. The view is spectacular from the gulf-facing side. The room is clean and well-appointed for my needs, and the staff is responsive and courteous. It's my go-to in Dubai for business.

We stayed four four nights. On the second day I complained about a bad smell (mold or damp walls) and they said they would put air freshener. The third day it was unbearable and they said oh we can humidify it. My husband has asthma and is very sensitive and each day in that room he was getting sick. I did not want to stay another night and they said they had no rooms at the same category. I requested a downgrade because our health was more important.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable

I loved it ! And will definitely revisite it if I come back to UAE

Very good

The view is astonishing. Clean and good customer services by door men. We woke up 6AM by loud fire alarm. We were so scared. Called reception and no one answered. I would appreciate if we were notified in advance. We could have prepared ourselves.

we currently in house under Garcia last Name. Either under my name or my mother's name We are regular guest since 2022 All the time our stay has been wonderful! However; this stay we have been quite disappointment. I called one day before asking if possible early check in since we are coming from abu dhabi wirh 2 small children the gentleman over the phone told me yes no problem at 1 pm that can be done complimentary. Once we arrived at 1 30 pm we waited for the room until 2 pm. The front office manager was not accommodating, giving me a lesson about the number of pax and denying any complimentary room upgrade since we are not gold or platinum Hilton member I told her we are platinum but from hotels.com account that's why we book under that account ans that always the front office staff have been wonderful giving us a comp upgrade. Anyways, it took half an hour to get the room. Then my kids love the cookies which is a signature amenity from doubletree and they told me I can collect them at night since it was fasting time. I came down at night and they told me nothing was there that maybe later I asked second time and they said they didn't order any cookies I think that's unacceptable since it should be always available for guests, this is the second disappointment. Third, I ask 3 times for comp bottles of water because we got just 2 and we are 4 pax and I needed to make bottles of milk for my children. The room attendant came arguing about that the comp bottles are just 2

Check in no help and we had long trip but the rest was nice… good área and good conditions

Great location and the view is excellent. Room was nicely cleaned and sized for two people. I loved the balcony as well whic is not a common feature of most hotels. Wonderful breakfast and many choices to eat. The management team has a great customer service orientation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Sharjah. Definitely four stars and possibly 4.5 stars.

10/10

My second stay at the property and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. Friendly and capable staff, a nice location by Sharjah corniche, great view, bus connections to metro, good breakfast, a nice indoor pool for lap swimming.

A very restful stay in the heart of Sharjah. The view of Sharjah waterfront from our room was breathtaking. The staff were very friend and helpful. Would certainly visit again.

The hotel is great and looks exactly like in the pictures. Excellent service and staff, quiet rooms, very clean, marina view, walking distance to all amenities, close to the Dubai airport, it was perfect for me, generally. Thank you for having such a lovely hotel!

Specious room excellent staff

It was a great stay for me and my family. Very nice and professional staff. Recommended.

the hotel was quite basic in terms of facilities and room equipment/furniture. also, the room was small compared to similar hotels in UAE and the region. customer care was quite slow and somehow odd. For example, I requested extra pillows (pillows were very thin and uncomfortable) when I arrived late evening but I had to make three calls to front desk (AND 45 minutes waiting) to get the pillows delivered to the room! another odd thing: I asked for a couple of table spoons to use, but I was told there'll be a charge for the spoons! fair enough they retracted from the charge when I expressed my disappointment and dismay! Apart form that, hotel location is very good and valet service was very good.

Clean Hotel. Friendly staff at front desk, housekeeping, valet, and restaurant. In and out a little difficult with a larger cars. Food at restaurant good.

Very clean, every thing is around the hotel. I asked a late checkout but they refused that.

Nice hotel close to the waterfront with good view. Breakfast buffet was very nice and facilities are good

All service was excellent from hygiene to kindness and food too. Definitely will stay here again and also recommend people i know of this hotel when they come to Sharjah.

We really like this hotel overall. It is so clean and the staffs are helpful and friendly. The front desk staff, Melody, was so helpful to connect us with the tour company. Akash was so enthusiastic to take care of our luggages on the days when we checked in and out of the hotel. We definitely will stay at this hotel again.

A great hotel if you are staying in Sharjah. Clean, quiet, excellent and friendly staff, great breakfasts, located near a walkable waterfront if temperatures allow. It’s possible to reach many areas by bus/ metro connections.

I will definitely come back again. Everything is great , location, food , staff are very helpful and friendly. Perfect hotel

Excellent experience. Highly recommended

Amazing

Good hotel

Good hotel

Nice

The amenities, cleanliness, food choices, location to everything, respect show to me, attention to details, compassion and care of the staff for your stay is unparalleled. If I have the opportunity to visit Sharjah again, I am certain this is the hotel I will be especially with my family.

Very clean and Location is the best,

Super clean, friendly and helpful staff, parking is always available with valet service. The view from our balcony was unmatched!! Very highly recommended 👌

It was a great stay. Every one was very welcoming and accomadating. All the staff were very helpful, shout out to buffet team sapan, neneth,Barbara, btain, hains, dorren and some I and some we forget.fablous service. Definitely staying again.

Good hotel overall but housekeeping needs improvement. They took a laundry bag with a few items and never returned it. I complained to the front desk 3 times but nothing was done about it. The hotel is comfortable, quiet and conveniently located.

perfect stay..everything very good

Great location… the centre of everything.

Had a great experience staying at Double tree hotel, experience top notch amenities provided by hotel along with equally commendable and supportive staff.

Amazing stay and hospitality at DoubleTree Sharjah! Incredible views, service and cookies!

Every thing was fine except the pillows were to thin and uncomfortable and late checkout out was not enough

Great hotel with great customer service.....

I liked this hotel but I think there is a room for improvement. For example, the breakfast is almost the same everyday. I think they should change the menu from time to time. One last thing I did not like was that the hotel management did not care about my personal situation. For example, I had to leave two days earlier than expected and when I talked to the hotel they refused to refund me my money for the two days. I spoke to Expedia and they also did not refund. I think the hotel should have given me at least credit for the next stays instead of just refusing NOT to refund for the two days I did not stay.

very good

It is my second stay at this property. Every service was excellent. The staff are fantastic. The hotel and room condition are new and well kept. My room had a great view of the water.

Great
