Great location. Beautiful modern hotel at the harbour with parking. Good restaurant. Nice easy 15-20 minute walk along the seafront to the main centre.

A notre arrivée, nous avons eu un souci dans notre chambre et l'équipe a été réactive. Nous avons changé de chambre et avons été surclassés. Donc le souvenir n'est pas le souci de départ mais la prise en compte de celui ci. C'est le témoin du sens client. A souligner la qualité du restaurant, nous y avons diné 3 soirs sur les 5 La présence du parking sécurisé est aussi un plus

The hotel is well-maintained and new, the staff are very nice and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city and the port, and also provides quick access to sites around the island

Der Frühstücksraum war schön angerichtet und das Frühstück an sich war lecker. Bestellungen wurden angenommen für heiße Speisen und Getränken - da kann ich die vorherigen Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen, dass es langsam war oder Missverständnisse gab.

Das Hotel hatte in den Zimmern keine vernünftige Klimaanlage! Wir sind ein mal umgezogen, aber das war ja das gleiche Gerät… es hat angefangen zu tropfen und zwar kam ein Techniker, aber das hat alles nichts gebracht… mit lauter Klimaanlage waren es drin 25 grad so wie draußen und sehr feucht! Das Zimmer roch schon nach Schimmel, wo das Hotel nichtmal 5 Jahre steht. Das Bett war klein und unbequem sowie die Kopfkissen. Das Zimmer war zum Hinterhof ausgerichtet, wo sich draußen laute und warm machende Gerätschaften befanden. Das Personal war freundlich - die können ja auch nichts für… Aber geputzt wurde das auch nicht so richtig - da hat man viele Haare gesehen von den Vorgänger.

Easy drive down the VR from the airport and free on-site parking in the underground garage. Fully equipped modern spacious one-bedroom apartment with comfortable bed and pillows. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful with a lot of food choices - meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruits. Also made to order eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage.

Inefficient a/c. Two "mini-splits, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. However even with both units set at 16°C (the lowest temp on the unit) the apartment was very warm even with all the blinds shut during the day. The air coming out of the units should have been much cooler. We would have asked to be moved to another room but we had already unpacked and settled in when we realized the apartment was not cooling off. I see other reviews where the inefficient a/c is also mentioned so may be an issue throughout the complex.

Had a lot of outside noise as the room was located right next to some big A/C outlets. Several rooms on the backside of the building should share the same issue. Rooms were generally clean but found a sock from the previous guest and some minor other issues - no dealbreakers though. Would stay again

It is an excellent hotel, with really neat and spacious rooms, ours was quite well equipped, everything was available what we needed. The staff is super kind and helpful, always smiling, it was a pleasure to talk to them. The pictures are reflecting what you see once you arrive. We were really surprised by the restaurant which offered a great selection of meals for dinner and the quality and service was much beyond regular hotel kitchens - once again the staff was really kind and welcoming. We will surely return to this hotel, if we visit Terceira again, I can recommend to pick this hotel!

The location is a bit farther from the center, around 10 minutes of walk. As a plus: it can be done right next to the ocean. I would add a bit more vegetable options for the breakfast menu, otherwise it was decent.

Was expecting an actual pool. Turned out to be a mirror pool about 1 foot deep.

Sarebbe bello che sul terrazzo comune, al posto della fontana ornamentale ci fosse una Jacuzzi o una piccola piscina.

Otimo pequeno almoço com empregados muito atenciosos. Ficamos num apartamento com dois quartos muito espaçoso e bem equipado. Tinha um bilhete de boas vinda à chegada com um pequeno miminho.

Расположение недалеко от центра. Сам отель достаточно новый, номера приятные, большие, наш был похож на небольшую квартиру) Интернет хороший. Отличный ресторан при отеле - ужины вкусные. Завтрак норм, но несколько усложнен - нет кофе машины, надо делать заказ, без оплаты, но приходится ждать. Можно заказать яичницу или омлет. Свой паркинг, удобный. Соотношение цена-качество на хорошем уровне.

На завтраке нет никаких овощей и зелени, вообще.

Habitaciones amplias, cama muy cómoda, el restaurante muy bueno y el hotel nuevo con parki g en el sótano. El único fallo el aire acondicionado que era poco potente y no refrescaba. Hacía calor en la habitación.

Das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel war sehr gut. Die Lage war ok, der Blick von unserem Appartement ging allerdings auf eine Ruine auf der anderen Straßenseite, das hatten wir uns eher Hafenmäßig vorgestellt.

Auf einem der Fotos der Internetpräsentation wird der Eindruck erweckt, dass es einen Swimmingpool gibt. Für uns ein wichtiges Kriterium wegen der Kinder. Leider ist dies nur ein Dekobecken...gut, wir hätten das besser abklären sollen, allerdings ist das Bild schon sehr irreführend und sollte entfernt werden, da es einen falschen Eindruck erweckt. Dieses Dekobecken hat im Hotel überhaupt keine Relevanz.

La vue n'est pas terrible, sur le mur de la cour et le parking arrière. Il manquait d'un espace extérieur qualitatif et d'une piscine.

the room wasn't clean, particularly bathroom there were corners not cleaned and the walls had signs of old drops like they where not cleaned before our arrivals. the room was overall humid and by opening shelves there was smell like they were not opened. the some furnitures were broken. the cleaning that was done on a daily basis was poor. the glasses were not replaced but there wasn't any soap to wash them.

Lage, geräumiges wunderschönes und modernes Zimmer (endlich mal kein Teppichboden...) Nettes Personal. Frühstück, super Kaffee. Sehr gute Kommunikation im Voraus und vor Ort. Günstiger Flughafenshuttle (25 Euro pro Weg).

Für eine längere Aufenthaltszeit mit Kindern fehlt leider eine Spielmöglichkeit oder ein Pool.

Detestámos que por duas vezes entrassem no nosso quarto. Primeiro um funcionário da manutenção e de seguida outra funcionária do hotel, acompanhada do mesmo funcionário, depois de saberem que o quarto estava ocupado. Depois recebemos chamada da recepção a informar que tinha havido um erro do sistema, que indicava que o quarto estava vago, e que a manutenção ia verificar o ar condicionado. Inadmissível a intromissão na nossa privacidade, e o ar condicionado estava em perfeitas condições. Achámos tudo mirabolante.

hotel wciśnięty pomiędzy ogrodzenie parkingu a ruiny zabudowań po drugiej stronie ulicy. Apartament 110 na I piętrze to druga kategoria, balkon pokoju bezużyteczny - pod balkonem urządzenia klimatyzacji zaplecza pokoju hałasujące niemiłosiernie, powyżej balkonu … parking samochodów, obok plac zaplecza hotelu . Hałas i wibracje z urządzeń klimatyzacji zaplecza hotelu przeszkadzają mocno pomimo zamknięcia okna, o pozostawieniu otwartego okna można zapomnieć. Jeden z kelnerów podczas śniadań z chroniczną amnezją - zapomina o zamówieniach ciepłych posiłków i kawy (a nawet jajecznica nie jest dostępna bez zamówienia) , trzeba bardzo długo czekać i przypominać się. Czystość - bez rewelacji, dziecko znalazło na podłodze w łazience czyjeś zużyte soczewki kontaktowe. Podobno posiadacze poziomu Genius 3 Booking mają jakieś bonusy - ja w ramach „bonusu” otrzymałem apartament II kategorii…

The AC is terrible. Can never keep up on a warm day. Some Sun blackouts on the hall would help cool area but generally AC is way too small a unit for that size of area. Staff did allow to move to another unit with better AC but no view. Things I look for when booking are AC, large bed, parking and a view. Lost the AC and the view. Also used tea first morning and never replaced for next morning. Oh guess it was too much. Bathroom has no area for cosmetics, dental stuff so that is a no no when appraising a unit as a female.

We liked the balcony and the openness of the room.

We didn’t like the regulator on the air-conditioning because it never quite got cold enough.

Personal teilweise inkompetent, Lage war praktisch weil in der Nähe des Zentrums, dennoch unschöne Straße... Zimmer hatte Dachfenster, dies sorgte nicht nur für warme Temperaturen im Zimmer, sondern auch für unangenehme Gerüche sobald man diese öffnete (Wahrscheinlich in der Nähe der hoteleigenen Abgasleitung?) Auch hörte man dauernd im Zimmer eine sehr laute Lüftungsanlage (Hotelpersonal wusste nicht was es ist) und im Bad hat es oft nach Abfluss gerochen

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal, sehr schöne Zimmer und auch das Essen war sehr gut. Die Strasse und die Ruine gegenüber sind das einzige Manko, aber dafür kann das Hotel nix. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wenn Terceira, dann wieder genau dieses Hotel - klare Empfehlung von uns. Auch die Lage an sich fanden wir sehr gut, die Altstadt in der Nähe und genügend Bars und Restaurants in Gehweite.

On the positive side, the apartment itself was spacious and offered plenty of room. The bed was comfortable, and the underground parking garage made parking very easy and convenient. Overall, the accommodation has some good features, but the misleading information regarding air conditioning and the poor breakfast experience significantly affected our stay.

The biggest disappointment was that the apartment does not have a functioning air-conditioning system, despite this being mentioned in the description. The installed system is not capable of cooling the apartment at all. Previous reviews have already pointed this out, and unfortunately the issue still has not been resolved. During our stay the temperatures were moderate, but in the summer I would definitely not choose this accommodation. Another major negative point was the breakfast service. Items that had run out were often not replenished, leaving guests with a very limited selection. In addition, the breakfast staff made us feel quite uncomfortable. They were often unfriendly, dismissive, and unwelcoming. We travel frequently and have not experienced such an unpleasant atmosphere at breakfast for a long time.

We had a one-bedroom apartment. It is a very modern and spacious hotel with breakfast! It is equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette with quality appliances. Modern bathroom and comfortable living room with a beautiful dining table. Loved 🥰 the way furniture was organized in bedroom, living room and dining room ! If we come back to Terceira, this is the place to stay again! It was kind of sweet as we got a welcome note with some delicious custard. Staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.

Good but could be better - central location and rooms are well-appointed (we had a one-bedroom suite with a nice balcony). Overall, customer service was lacking. When we checked-in, the customer service rep was not overly friendly. When we got to the room, it was incredibly hot. I returned downstairs and was told it was central heating and AC had not been turned on (in late-May) and she basically told us to “open the doors.” It was incredibly uncomfortable for the 5 nights we were there by not being able to turn AC on. We also asked for an extra (second) luggage rack - and was told that they only had enough for one per room. Housekeeping also completely missed our room one of the days - the dish towel was stained from bleach and one of our shower towels was ripped. Breakfast was fine - service was minimal (they would simply ask your room number and you had to go up to up and order off menu as if you were bothering them). It’s lovely they have an in-room sound system (with absolutely no instructions on how to use anything) - would have preferred ability to control room temperature instead. If some improvements were made (including customer service), this property could be much better.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful room

The bed was super comfy, the room was bright with plenty of storage. The balcony was perfect for relaxing - right across the street is a building that is abandoned but also a view of the fort and ocean. The breakfast was really good with a hot menu available.

Everything was good.

The location is easy to find. You can hear a bit the passing cars and motorcycles but that applies to the whole city. The rooms are spacious (we had 1bedroom apartment), clean and cozy. It exceeded our expectation. Daily cleaning, bathrobes and complimentary refreshment upon arrival. They also provided gluten-free bread for me.

I rated staff as little lower as most of the staff does not really speak much English (again this is a finding we have from 3 Azores islands). People either speak perfect or very little. So it was had to get the breakfast right as sometimes we got different eggs or did not get coffee we ordered. The people are nice but they just do not have enough experience from tourism.

Solicitamos um check-in mais cedo pois viajamos com uma bebé de 22 meses que necessitava descansar e a funcionária que nos atendeu foi impecável, tornando o nosso pedido possível e rapidamente. Voltaríamos sem dúvida!

Lage direkt an der Straße

We don't write many reviews, but The Shipyard Angra deserves one for their outstanding efforts during our 3-night stay in mid-April. This is a lovely and perfectly sized property well-located on the edge of Angra's town centre, and away from all of those narrow roads. Complimentary parking is underground and so easy, an important benefit in Angra. The large rooms, very clean and new, are of great value and well-appointed, and include a full service/buffet breakfast. A fine well-priced dinner is available in the dining room, with local dishes available, if one wishes the ease of eating at the hotel after a tiring day. But it is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that makes this a more special stay. From the greeting of Claudia at the front desk and the personal note in the room, to the restaurant staff, to the room cleaning team, one can see that this is an excellently managed property. One feels that anyone in the hotel will go out of their way to help with any request. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and highly recommend The Shipyard Angra.

A really sympathetic adaptation of an old factory site, with generous rooms (each with a decent kitchenette), good breakfasts and helpful staff. The garage is a bit tricky to get a full-size car around, but there's parking on the street too. Noise from the street can be an issue, unfortunately.

Le confort de la chambre et son espace. L'emplacement est top ! Le personnel est aux petits soins, tout le monde est très gentil. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, beaucoup de choix au buffet et également plusieurs choses a la carte, oeufs, pancakes, capuccino... Compris dans le prix du petit dej, nous nous sommes regalés !! Le resto en bas de l'hôtel est super nous y avons manger deux fois, un régal a chaque fois.

Die Unterkunft ist noch ziemlich neu und die Zimmer sehr groß. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage in der Nähe des Forts und nahe des Hafens ist auch super. Morgens wurde ein tolles Frühstücksbüffet dargeboten. Abends gab es ein sehr reichhaltiges Drei-Gänge-Menü mit einem inklusiven Getränk. Es mundete immer sehr gut. Auch das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine unbedingte Empfehlung.
