Hotel Cruzeiro

Loved the superior room, so much space and the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. The shower was amazing and the double sink also great. Really good location and free parking.

Bar was expensive and breakfast hot options weren't great, but the rest of breakfast was good. Fresh made Pancakes a bonus and the cakes excellent..

Boas instalações, bom pequeno almoço e funcionários muito disponíveis e simpáticos. Tudo funciona bem.

Very comfortable and nice theming.

Mostly all good to be honest, a little bit more wear and tear compared to what I’d expect for a 4* but still nice

Funcionários, da localização, do estacionamento.

Insonorização das janelas exteriores.

Ottima e varia colazione. Camera ampia e pulita, bagno moderno. letti confortevoli. Personale gentile.

Free parking, near the centre.

Room on the small size.

Good location, good breakfast and friendly staff

De ligging was top

Colazione

Aria condizionata negli spazi comuni

Bello spazio, ampiezza dell’appartamento, arredato davvero bene, luminosissimo.Colazione buona. Staff super gentile!

Very nice hotel, big room and bed. Everything was very clean, staff were also friendly. Would definitely recommend! Parking perfect if you come with a car

All was good - if i would have to mention something would be the coffee in the breakfast, it was not good and would have been nice to have other options than black coffee. Pillows in the room could also be a bit more comfy

Appartement vaste.

O isolamento da água do chuveiro no respetivo compartimento.

Excelente relação preço:qualidade. Boa localização. Bons quartos e limpeza. Simpatia do staff. Permitiram late check-out.

Nada a apontar.

Nice apartment

Very expensive, check in after 4 pm meaning a long wait after a two flights from London, breakfast average with poor coffee!

Bardzo czysty i wygodny apartament. Super cicha klimatyzacja- oddzielna w sypialni i druga w pokoju dziennym Codziennie sprzątanie. Wygodny duży parking hotelowy Bardzo dobre śniadanie z dobrymi owocami i ciastem Amelia Przyjechałabym drugi raz do tego apartamentu

RAS

Breakfast was had variety of things which I founded pleasant. Maybe I bit too much on the side of sugar than salty, which I find more attracting as breakfast. But overall, Good coffee although only one type was available, basic hot breakfast products were there and basic cutlery for sandwiches. As well relatively much fresh fruits.

By far the worst hotel on Terceira Island I've ever stayed in. If you rent the apartment counting on the washing machine, forget it because it doesn't work. If you want to use the dishwasher, buy the tablets. If you want the beds changed, you have to ask because the hotel can't change the beds every day, and be prepared to hear from the rude and arrogant housekeeper because it's your word against hers. If you're taking a shower and the shower gel runs out, that's also normal, stop and go to reception to ask for more. Going out for a walk on the island and returning to the hotel only to be denied entry to the apartment because the card stops working is also a normal situation. If you expect to have a vacation or talk to someone responsible to try to resolve the situation, it's also not possible because there's never anyone there, the hotel is governed by the wind, at the mercy of the tide. I'll definitely return to Terceira Island, but I'll never go back to the Hotel Cruzeiro.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was spacious, the location, the breakfast and the staff were all impeccable. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and kind and were quite sweet to our young son, especially Leonora. The breakfast had so many choices and was delicious. The location is also amazing as it is a very short walk to praça velha (the city square). The rooms were impeccable and clean. We can’t wait to return. We’ve already spread our recommendations to family and friends!

Nothing. It was an amazing stay

Location was excellent

It felt like it wasn’t finished lots of burned out lightbulbs, and there was a hole in the ground covered by wood planks, plus a lot of the doors are not Self closing so even late at night some of the doors were not open to the property which led to security concerns

very clean and great location

Such nice staff. very comfortable room and good shower. Breakfast was delicious!

Mooie kamer. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt Top locatie

Rioollucht uit de badkamer bij de wasbak

Comfortable, spacious, friendly, excellent location, good breakfast

One small comment for breakfast: missing an automatic coffee maker... Instead there is precooked coffee available, with warm milk for adding to it

Localização, pequeno almoço, simpatia dos funcionários, iluminação, ambiente

Freundliches Personal.

Simpatia do staff, localização, pequeno almoço variado e excelente relação qualidade preço

Nada a referir

Hotel hält alles, was es verspricht. Gute Lage in Angra.

Great location. Short downhill walk to city center. Spacious comfy, room. Excellent free breakfast!! Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Small gym was also nice.

Nice spacious superior room. Friendly staff. Breakfasts as a good range of quality food. Fairly central location.

I had a room facing the street so the noise from the cobblestones intruded a bit. I had to keen asking to have the air on turned on as I could not have the windows open due to the noise. Beds were firm but needed a mattress topper as they were not as comfortable as they could have been. I think you should provide filtered water machines to reduce plastic bottle usage. I hung up my bathroom towels but every day they were changed which is not good for the environment or energy usage.

The hotel itself may be fine, but I strongly advise any traveller — whether an individual tourist or part of a group — to think twice before reserving here. Our Erasmus delegation (7 teachers from France and Italy) had booked and fully prepaid rooms for February 8–14, 2026. Due to severe weather conditions, our flights were unable to land on Terceira Island and we were diverted, arriving two days late through absolutely no fault of our own. We were literally on the plane, ready to come. Despite providing full explanations and offering to supply official flight diversion records and weather reports, management refused any refund for the two unused nights and three unused breakfasts. Their response? Strict application of the no-show policy — no exceptions, no nuance, regardless of the circumstances. The front desk contact (Alina) was genuinely kind and clearly uncomfortable with the decision, which tells you everything about where the problem lies: with management's rigidity, not the staff. If your flight gets delayed, diverted, or cancelled for any reason — weather, technical issues, anything — don't expect this hotel to show the slightest flexibility. You will lose your money, full stop. This is not a place that looks after its guests when things go wrong. If you value knowing that you will be treated fairly in an unexpected situation, book somewhere else. There are plenty of other options on Terceira Island.

Surreal.

Excellent parking, friendly front desk staff

Poor bathroom toiletries, minimal low quality breakfast

Very friendly staff
