Location ok. Breakfast not offered.
I was not told I would have to wake up every two hours during the night to put wooden logs in stove to have heat.
The location was so beautiful and the cabins really cozy and comfortable. Our kids loved playing with the dogs.
Super friendly and helpful.
No heating but fire was amazing! Staff were helpful to set it up but you need to commit to keeping it alive
The room was very comfortable and warm, and the staff are super nice. Delicious breakfast. Bonus points for the cat (!!) and dogs. One of those places you wish you'd run yourself one day. Perfect!
The price is a bit steep but I guess it's aligned with the area.
Loved our stay! Host and staff were incredibly kind. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and our little cabin was comfortable, warm, and suited our needs for three nights. The owner is also a local fishing guide and my husband had an amazing time fishing in the beautiful Torres del Paine. They helped make our trip wonderful.
Nothing
Unique and well equipped accommodation close to the entrance to NP Torres del Paine. Considering the remote area, facilities like in a City Hotel can't be expected, of course. But Patrick and his team spend great efforts to make the stay easy and comfortable for their guests. All facilities are very well thought out and uncomplicated. Our cabin had a wood stove for heating and a kitchen area, sufficient to prepare easy dishes. No refrigerator, due to limited electricity, but own goods could be stored in refrigerator in the main house. The restaurant offers breakfast and choice of dishes for dinner and a selection of wines and beverages. Good location at the river side with nice terraces at the river bank. Very friendly and supportive team.

Warm and welcoming environment, felt like staying in somebody's home with shared meals and the opportunity to get to know staff and fellow visitors. Patrick the owner is incredible. He went so far above and beyond to help us get a new tire for our car, which involved him contacting somebody in Puerto Natales who bought the tire for us and drove it all the way to his lodge. Delicious food (though more vegetarian options would be nice). Cabins are heated with a stove, which they put on for us before we got back every evening. Location is <5 minutes from the entrance to the park, perhaps a ~40 minute drive to many of the main trailheads. Overall, exactly what we needed for an adventurous visit to Torres Del Paine.
Sehr schöner Ort und extrem freundliches Personal. Die Aussicht ist Phänomenal. Guter Service rundherum.
Cozy, great staff, good food, clean. The rec room and terraces are so nice to have - our son enjoyed the rock climbing wall and toys. Would have been nice to actually use the BBQ area which was unique and playful.
It was a smaller space than we were used to. The fireplace is lovely but tedious during cold nights, so you have to get up every 2 hours or so to add more firewood and the temperature is hard to regulate. Location is good, but views of the Torres are blocked by trees; you can go to the shared terrace to enjoy a view. Food and service were great, but overall it was quite expensive for a simple small cabin and dinner.
Good location for Torres del Paine adventures ( close to NP entry); very helpful and communicative hosts; easy check-in; very cosy cabin; adequate kitchen for basic self-catering (there’s also a small restaurant on site); only heating is wood-burning stove (so be prepared to re-stoke through the night but plenty of firewood supplied; great views of the mountains when clear; would be cosy for 4 (1 queen bed plus 2 single bunks in one room - no door) but very comfy for the 2 of us; excellent and plentiful hot water. Location runs on generator and solar power so no microwave but we didn’t miss it.
Staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind at Konkashken Lodge! The beds were very comfortable, especially for bunk beds! It has a cozy feel.
The room quarters were very small and the kitchenette supplies were quite limited. Heating was difficult to regulate with the stove. For the money paid, the value was very disappointing as this was just a step above camping!
Location
Swastikas on the bathroom tiles
Wonderful staff/ very helpful. Delicious dinners. Beautiful location close to southern entrance. Cabin has a couple of gas burners and kitchen supplies to cook simple meals and there is a communal refrigerator in the main building.
The wood stove is very cozy (hot!) but difficult to regulate the temperature in the cabin through the night. Otherwise the stay was perfect.
close to Torres Nationalpark, nice stuff, good dinner and the ide to sleep in wagon was very nice. Good view for the mountains of nationalpark
nothing
The location, just 5 mins outside the Rio Serrano gate, was perfect. The property was peaceful and had a lovely view of the river from near the outdoor cooking building. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous.
The room was quite small but the bed was super comfortable. My cabin was the middle of two others so I could hear everything in these other rooms. I shared a lovely small outside sitting area with the cabin next to me so it wasn't very private. I could hear these neighbors out there very early one morning. The communal cooking building was cool but there was a pile of dirty dishes in the sink with flies buzzing around. This was rather late in the day and was cleaned by the following afternoon, but it turned me off that first night.
Spent two nights, first in cabin #5, second in #4 due to availability contraints at booking time. #5 is larger, accommodates a party of four and includes a full kitchen; all well appointed, comfy bed and very clean. #4 is only a room with a bathroom, also comfy, clean. Great location just a few kms from the park entrance. Very tasty, hearty dinners and good breakfast. Wonderful staff throughout, attentive and helpful.
Minor gripe: having to get up in the middle of the night to feed the wood burning stove to heat up cabin #5. On the other hand, cabin #4 has an automatic gas heater.
fabulous views, wonderful staff!
The cabins are very clean, cute and cozy - we stayed in the family cabin with the small kitchenette (side note: there is no refrigerator but you can keep refrigerated items in the kitchen of the main building; the stove is a camping stove). The staff were very warm, accommodating and welcoming. We had breakfast there every morning which was standard but of good quality and we had dinner a few times which was very good - choice of fish, chicken or beef with soup, salad, side and dessert. The views are amazing and it's very peaceful.
It's a bit of a drive to get to the 'main' part of the park (where the towers are). It's expensive for what you get but so is everything else in that area. The mattresses/pillows could have been more comfortable - they were not terrible but also not the most comfortable. Wifi can be intermittent but to be expected in the area. And it takes a while to get hot water in the shower.
No tiene aire acondicionado y hacia mucho calor.

Friendly dining room staff. Location by the river was nice. There are trails and horses roaming in idyllic setting
Road to the lodge, y-290, was bad. So many pot holes. We drive very slowly and chose the long way y-150 to return to Puerto Natales
A beautiful, stunning location. The common areas (both terraces) have incredible views of the mountains. The bar / fire pit area was so cool too! We loved the dogs and Doo, the cat! The horses and cattle that walk through the property were a fun bonus. The food was SO good!! The chef is amazing and the whole staff is so friendly and welcoming. This felt like coming home at the end of every amazing day in the national park! Thank you for everything! Ryan & Nicole, New York
The location is spectacularly close to Torres del Paine, the staff is exceptionally hospitable, the food was delicious, the dogs and cat are super friendly and cute, and the views of the surrounding landscape make you feel like you’re staying on a Patagonian ranch.
The water pressure in the shower was very weak, but I notified the staff and they’re already looking into it.
Conkashken Lodge is an excellent place to stay, and its biggest advantage is the location right at the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. The cabins are very clean, well maintained, and well equipped. The property itself is beautiful and well cared for, offering breathtaking views of Torres del Paine. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything needed. The dinner was absolutely delicious — especially the grilled lamb barbecue, which was outstanding. We highly recommend this lodge to everyone. It is the perfect base for exploring Torres del Paine National Park.
The location is stunning and this accommodation has everything we required considering we planned to spend most of our time in the park. It is an off the grid experience with additional communal facilities for chilling and braaiing your own meat as well as your own wood fire in the cabins. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Coming from South Africa this was exactly what we expected but if you require fast and continuous wifi and spacious deluxe accommodation it is not for you!
The rooms with two bunkbeds are quite compact so be aware of that if you have much luggage as there isn't really space to lay out suitcases.
Amazing place, amazing staff, incredible food and really really cute place.
This is a pleasant hotel located in the village of Serrano, Patagonia. We initially booked the hotel for two nights. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working, and while we could manage without it, there was no hot water available either at night or in the morning. The property has a nice atmosphere but feels more like a camp-style accommodation. There is no central heating, and guests need to add logs to the fireplace to keep the room warm. The fireplace required frequent refilling, including during the night, which was challenging. We raised the issue with the owner, who was kind enough to cancel one night of our reservation, and we stayed for only one night. Overall, it is a charming place, but it may be better suited for guests who are comfortable with rustic conditions and limited amenities.
Cold water and heating.
The more we travel, the more we seek out small boutique properties with genuine, heartfelt hospitality, and Konkashken truly exceeded our expectations. Patrick, the owner, and his team were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, it felt far less like a hotel and much more like staying in a good friend’s home. The standalone units are simple, spotless, and comfortable. Hot showers, a cozy setup, and all the basic necessities were thoughtfully provided. What really sets Konkashken apart is the level of service. Patrick goes above and beyond to make sure your stay runs smoothly. His advice on timing, weather, and planning is invaluable in Patagonia, where conditions can change quickly and knowing how to read the weather apps makes all the difference. He can also help arrange any excursions you have in mind. And absolutely book dinner. Patrick’s home-cooked meals were some of the best food we had in the park. Thoughtful, hearty, and clearly made with care. When you look back on your trip, I’m confident your stay at Konkashken will be one of the travel experiences you remember most!
I love everything about the property. The location, the staff, the ambient, just everything
Excellent location. Wonderful staff.. lots of space and 3 dogs and a cat
It is a cabin room, and hotel is just outside of the national park.
The floor in the room is ceramic and is very cold.
This little lodge is such a gem to find! It’s about a 5 minute drive to the entrance of TdP in the little Pueblo of Rio Serrano. The family and staff who run it are incredibly kind, hardworking, friendly, and helpful. We felt like we were part of their community while we were there. Each cabin is warm, comfortable, and sturdy. They offer a lot of activities (we didn’t do any but know some guests did). The dinner each night is also delicious! Overall a really fantastic place to stay and call home while in Patagonia.
Nothing!
All staff are nice and helpful

Service was great and everyone including the owner Patrick were very helpful. Breakfast was basic but the care and attention provided was awesome. Karina, Castanza, Carlitos, Marian were nice and provided great hospitality.
Property is not close to the hiking trails, it’s a bit of drive.
Great location by Rio Serrano. Easy access to the park and did a hike right from the area. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The cat and 4 dogs - especially Benito - are very charismatic and our almost 4 year old son loved them. The surrounding area by the cabins was great. We never really got to appreciate the view, but apparently there is an amazing one. Our son loved running around on the lawn outside the cabin. The dinner we had there - while pricey - was very good. I appreciated that they accommodated our toddler and made a modified meal for him.
It is very tight for 4 people. The beds are very comfortable. It has everything you probably need. It is small and expensive because you are far from facilities and get the privilege of being very close to the park. Certainly less expensive than staying in the park. I would stay there again and am happy with our choice.
The staffs are very friendly. They are very nice and helpful. The cabin is clean and cozy. And location is very good.
The cabin is a bit too small. Especially the bathroom is super tight. The shower door didn’t install properly and kept felling. Need to hold it while taking the shower. The toilet also wiggles and not very stable.
Located near one of the entrances to Torres, the lodge is in a great spot. There are restaurants nearby. Our little cabin was cute. We spent most of the time we were on the property at the seating area by the river. It’s a beautiful place to relax with a drink after a day of hiking! Breakfast is good, and can be served early if you need.
The staff and location make this property special. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, despite some language barriers. They were lifesavers in lending us trekking poles for a day, and they walked over to our bungalow when we needed help understanding something (like the stovetop or furnace). Whenever we returned from a day of being out, someone had added logs to the furnace to keep the bungalow warm. They also had SPF 50 sunscreen for us to use, which was hugely helpful after we accidentally left ours behind in the prior town we stayed at.
I knew from other reviewers that by the time you wake up in the morning, your cabin will be cold if you don't get up during the night to add logs. We set an alarm every few hours to add a log to avoid being really cold, and this disruption of sleep wasn't ideal. But I'd known about it before I booked the room and yet I still booked it, so it's hard to blame the property. Still, I wish there was some way to avoid waking up to a very cold room. I also didn't like that there were no tools in the cabin to move any logs in the fire. It was your hand or nothing. I would have preferred a poker or some such. Also, there was a gap in the shower that precluded it from closing completely, such that some water got onto the floor.
Great Location very close to park entrance. Stunning views, and love the "grass driveway" and the horses that use it for feeding, which come right up to your door. Service was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The continental-like breakfast came with your "eggs your way". My daughter enjoyed lighting the wood stove. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Great location and lovely staff. We loved the dogs and seeing the horses grazing around the lodges. The views were exceptional and we could get into the park within 5 minutes which meant we had more time to enjoy being there. Fantastic value.
Nothing
Excellent location! Beautiful setting at backyard to view sunset of mountain.
limit supplies, better if they offer microwave
Everything. Very nice location and super friendly owners and staff. Always ready to help. Very good breakfast and diner. Cosy place.
Nothing
Niets
Location was excellent for view of Cuernos. Staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. They would do everything to make your stay comfortable. We loved the log fire and appreciated when Patrick lit the fire for us prior to arriving back to the lodge after a long day of walking.
Little control over temperature in room and water pressure was low. Wi-fi was very unreliable but none of this would prevent us from recommending this accomodation to friends and family.
Lovely spot with cozy cabin and warm and outstanding staff — we appreciated the meals and being able to purchase some other products for lunch and enjoyed our little cabin
Patrick and the whole Konkashken staff made this stay feel like home. Between helping to plan our hikes, delicious home cooked dinners and even providing extra groceries when we didn’t have enough, everyone went above and beyond. We loved our time and would definitely go back for more bonfire chats, and beautiful Patagonian views.
The cabin we had was really cute and comfortable. The bed was great and there was a spacious kitchen/diner. You can also eat in their main building if you pre-order and we had a really good dinner one night. The location is lovely and tranquil and just 5 mins drive to the park entrance. You can also walk right from the lodge across the gorgeous river valley with views of the mountains. Best of all though is the owner, Patrick, who was so kind and welcoming. He helped us plan every day and looked after us so well.
Exceptional dinner and breakfast! Patrick made you feel like you were home in Patagonia with a personal touch. We had great conversation and he told me how to plan out my time in Torres del Paine! Incredible place to be! Can't wait to return and I'll stay at Konkashken Lodge!

The place, the host, the location, the atmosphere, the view, the nature, the staff, the room....everything.

The breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs, pastries, cold cuts, bread, cereal, and orange juice and coffee. I might be leaving out something, but it was a satisfying spread.
We visited during Winter in Chilean Patagonia so it was cold, but very clear. The weather was out of their control. The advantage was that it was beautiful with the snow and we had the national park to ourselves.
The lodge was really cosy and clean. Patrick was nice to warm the room ahead before we arrived.
Robert was an excellent host, who also included me to hang out with some of his friends and family that were visiting him at the lodge. He arranged all my activities for me and was very flexible. Also the breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. It was more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.
Nothing, honestly everything was great.
Great staff and tasted breakfast
You must have a car
I had an incredible stay at Konkashken lodge! Everything from the moment I arrived to the day I left was perfect. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere and surroundings added so much to the experience—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. Communication with the Patrick was smooth and friendly, making the entire stay effortless. It is just located 800m away from the south entrance of Parque Nacional Torres del Paine so it’s so convenient for us. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!
Fantastic location near many of the beautiful attractions in Torres Del Paine. The bungalows were great and very clean. The dinner service was also amazing, as were the hosts. I'd stay here again if I were in the region.
Best place to stay in whole Patagonia! Thanks Patrick and his team it was amazing 👌🏽
The Konkashken Lodge was the perfect location in the most picturesque valley just outside Torres. The staff felt like family. The room was charming. Breakfast was great! Absolutely perfect for us.
Lovely experience, super peaceful with a family feel. The terrace area gives you a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The room was a bit small, with 2 suitcases it felt a bit crowded. But the wood oven kept us super cozy at night and the bathroom though small is modern. Patrick is a great host and Natalia really went above and beyond with her friendliness and excellent English. The dinner is a bit pricey but I guess that's normal for that area. Good food made my chef Niko.
Loved the property, the views, the staff, the pets, the food! Truly a great experience. Everything was amazing! We had the 4 bunk bed lodge and it was roomy. We had everything we needed, the communal areas were great to use to enjoy the views. Dinner was amazing and they were able to accommodate our vegan friend. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Patagonia!
N/A everything was great!
