The room was warm and welcoming,fantastic shower, soft comfy bed. Nice homemade cookie upon our return from dinner. Brenda and Katrina lovely and helpful,giving advice on restaurants.

Reviewed Dec 7, 2025Host was very helpful, room was luxurious, breakfast excellent and private parking was easy. Bed was very comfortable, as was sitting area in room. Shower was gorgeous (I loved the tiles on the shower floor) and water nice and hot. Breakfast was made to order and included many options. The grounds were beautiful — really a top notch accommodation. We will be back!
Nothing really. Only caution is bedrooms are upstairs, though our host helped with carrying suitcases.

From there we were transported into .a world of understated luxury and elegance of a bygone era where nothing was a problem and every need catered to. An absolute pleasure and beautiful experience to stay here with these wonderful hosts Katrina and Brenda.

Nothing about the property at all, it was a little further out of town but not a problem if you’re happy to drive in and there was no problem parking in Oamaru.
