Zimmer war ohne Fenster aber für uns OK. Zentraler Schalter und Kombination mit Deckenleuchte ist so sicherlich nicht gedacht. Hier sollte der Elektriker noch mal ran. Kühlschrank defekt.

The room was absolutely gorgeous and front staff were professional and friendly.

When we showed up for breakfast there was no food or plates or really anything -- everything was gone except a sausage and some bread and grapes. The dining room was very understaffed and the one person seemed like she had to do everything on her own including making special coffees, bussing dirty tables, replenishing food, etc. We were there for about 45 minutes and it didn't really change so we went out for breakfast somewhere else. I felt really bad for her. Maybe this is an anomaly and someone didn't show up for work -- not sure. Also, our fridge in our suite didn't work.

Me dieron una habitación donde la única ventana que había daba al pasillo del ascensor, la cual no podías abrir porque te veia todo el mundo que esperaba en el pasillo para el ascensor. Para poder encender la luz del baño, tenías que encender la luz principal que alumbraba mucho, lo cual me parecía surrealista si solo querías en la noche ir al baño.

El alojamiento probablemente sea el mejor de Aveiro. La puntuación es mejor la del MS Collection donde estuvimos alojados una vez pero personalmente prefiero el Estrela. En ubicación están pegados aunque este último tiene vistas al canal y sus habitaciones son mucho más bonitas.

El desayuno cada vez es más escaso, no se corresponde a un hotel de esta categoría. Es la primera vez en todas las que hemos estado y son unas cuantas, en la que la recepcionista no era en absoluto agradable. Me refiero a la de la mañana no a la que nos recibió.

En la habitación había muy poco sitio para guardar las cosas, el armario muy pequeño y en el baño no había sitio para dejar lo de aseo.

A beleza e a elegância do edifício, bem como o cuidado colocado na preservação da sua identidade histórica. Gostei particularmente da arquitetura, dos detalhes decorativos e da forma como o carácter original do palacete convive com o conforto contemporâneo. A localização e a atmosfera intimista tornam a estadia ainda mais especial.

Não houve nenhum aspeto particularmente negativo a assinalar durante a estadia.

Tudo excelente! Quarto grande, funcional e confortável. Banho e cama excelente, tudo de qualidade. Café da manhã muito gostoso, com possibilidade de pedir ovos/ omelete na hora, além de panquecas. Funcionários atenciosos e educados. Localização perfeita.

Considero esta uma resposta desapropriada pois desconheço APPs não oficiais do governo. Para além disso, não explicou como o jacuzzi funcionava, acabando por condicionar a sua utilização.

We loved this boutique hotel. Best location, right across from the canal. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated & the building itself is just stunning, also visit the rooftop area for a drink at sunset. Highly recommend staying here.

Very interesting boutique hotel right in the center along the canal , excellent rooftop bar for breakfast and a cocktail in the afternoon/ evening. We stayed 4 places on our trip and this was our favourite.

L'établissement n'a pas son stationnement, il faut aller au centre d'achat en face pour stationner l'auto. La terrasse sur le toit est intéressante mais le bar offre peu de choix de consommation.

Wonderfully designed, great location.

The family room was not very good for the kids, as their space was not really meant for sleeping, despite the couch being there. There was strong light from the corridor coming in, so the room was very light all night, plus the toliette is completely open in that area, so there is a smell. Breakfast was very poor. We ordered something and had to leave after 40 minutes of not getting the food.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of aveiro. Good location to canal and restaurants. Staff were very young and friendly Good breakfast We were on the top floor so had a lovely balcony anc Hot tub.

Our fridge and air conditioning were not working properly. The young staff were very polite but no one in charge to take responsibility and resolve these defects, we just kept getting excuses and a lip service but no action! The small print doesnt explain parking not on site, in an underground carpark in shopping mall. Everytime you leave you have to collect and return a tag so you need to allow about 20 mins every time you go out in the car as there is nowhere to park outside which was a real pain. This hotel should be getting a 10 from us, if only someone could take responsibility and address the problems. We paid for a/c and fridge, they need to be working. We really hope this beautiful hotel sorts out their management! So frustrating!!

The location was great and we were happy that free parking was offered. The bed was really comfortable and the parts of the building that were upgraded are really nice. It's beautifully designed.

I can appreciate the history of the building but did not realize it would be the original floors, doors, etc. I didn't like needing a physical key to lock and unlock my door if i was inside the room. I typically lean on more modern hotels. Also, the bathroom doors are see-through. So be comfortable with whoever you travel with as they will see it all. In general, they had everything you needed and it was beautiful.

A charming boutique hotel with room for improvement We stayed here for two nights during our trip through Portugal. This is a charming boutique hotel in a beautiful historic building, with an excellent location in the heart of Aveiro. The staff genuinely try to make your stay enjoyable. They kindly arranged our moliceiro boat tour, booked a restaurant for us and were always willing to help with recommendations and reservations. We really appreciated their friendliness and effort. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. As is often the case with historic buildings, there are some signs of wear, such as cracked ceilings and paint that could use some attention. Housekeeping was a little inconsistent—we had to ask for fresh towels, and some small details were occasionally overlooked. The room layout was also a bit unusual. The head of the bed was directly against the bathroom wall shared with the neighboring room, which reduced both privacy and sound insulation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the hotel's character, excellent location and the dedication of the staff. With a little more attention to maintenance and housekeeping, this could become an outstanding boutique hotel.

Very clean, comfortable, lovely decor and location.

Our room had no window to the exterior and because of this the price was excessive. Not very private regarding noise as we could hear the people in the room next door. The breakfast was served until 10:30 we arrived at 09:50 however the buffet was almost empty we had to ask for food, not enough scrambled eggs, no Pastel de nata or though the lady in charge baked more after we asked twice ( we should not ask for this), disappointing.

It was a help yourself/ honesty bar which was a bit confusing so we decided against having a drink which was a shame as lovely bar/ balcony area. Parking available but had to go to shopping centre which wasn’t far away but had to return card for car park.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Es liegt sehr zentral. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat auch einige Infos zum Hotel gegeben. Zimmer waren geräumig wenn auch das Bad etwas beengt ist und die Ablagemöglichkeiten begrenzt. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Es gibt eine schöne Dachterrasse. Parken ist im Parkhaus des nahe gelegenen Einkaufszentrums möglich ( kann man beim buchen des Zimmers anfragen). Direkt um die Ecke gibt es ein nettes Cafe/Restaurant wo man sowohl einfach nur etwas trinken als auch etwas essen kann.

Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig. Man bekommt etwas Aufschnitt, Obst, Marmelade, manchmal Yoghurt ( den gab es aber nicht jeden Tag). Die Auswahl ist aber sehr begrenzt. Rührei gibt es auch. War aber schon zu Beginn der Frühstückszeit eher kalt. Die Brötchen waren nicht mehr warm und auch nicht ausrechend aufgebacken. Toast und Toaster gab es nicht. Alles in allem etwas dürftige Auswahl. Hat aber gereicht um satt zu werden. Heisse Getränke bekommt man serviert. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals war aber sehr verhalten. Keine Begrüßung und die Getränkewünsche wurden nur nach eigener Kontaktaufnahme entgegen genommen. Man fühlte sich irgendwie nicht willkommen und die Frage nach einer zweiten Tasse Kaffee wurde zwar erfüllt, aber man hatte irgendwie das Gefühl zu stören. In diesem Frühstücksraum liegt auch eine Liste aus wie bei einer "Selbstbedienungs - Bar" (Honesty Bar). Aber man kann sich z.B. Abends dort nicht wirklich selbst bedienen, denn es steht nichts bereit ( ausser ein paar Hochprozentige Flaschen). Kein Getränkekühlschrank, keine Kaffeemaschine o.ä. Vielleicht lag die Liste aber auch nur zufällig dort und es war gar nicht der Wunsch sich selbst zu bedienen ( um z.B. Abends auf der Terrasse noch etwas zu trinken). Es gab eine Theke aber kein Personal und auch kein Zutritt dahinter für Gäste.

Sehr gute Lage. Parkplatz in der nahe gelegenen Einkaufsmall. Andere Parkplätze sind schwierig. Lift ist vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind aufwändig gestaltet worden und erzählen eine Geschichte.

Es hängt leider ein säuerlich Geruch im ganzen Hotel. Zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten.

Great location, staff was wonderful. A boutique hotel that truly leans into its heritage and history. Room was very clean.

Our main reasons for rating the facility low: 1. Strong sewage smell in entryway and first floor, where our room was. Very off putting. 2. Our room had a see-through toilet and shower. We’re a married couple but have no desire to see each other using the toilet. 3. There was nowhere to put anything. Our toiletry bags had to be set on the floor next to the sink because the tiny shelf there could only hold toothbrushes. Another little shelf on the other side of the sink would have made a big difference. Nowhere to hang used towels other than right next to the toilet. Shower and toilet area way too small, you have to slide against the toilet as you exit the shower.

Η αισθητική του ξενοδοχείου και του δωματίου μας ήταν εξαιρετική. Ιστορικό κτίριο, ανακαινισμένο με πολλή προσοχή, σίγουρα εντυπωσιάζει το μέσο επισκέπτη. Η θέα στο κανάλι και τις βάρκες από το δωμάτιό μας ήταν υπέροχη. Μέναμε στη σουίτα που έφερε το όνομα ενός παλιού δημάρχου του Aveiro. Το δωμάτιο μεγάλο, φωτεινό, με πολλά παράθυρα σε όλη την πρόσοοψη, ιδιαίτερο, καλαίσθητο, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Το πρωινό πολύ νόστιμο και αρκετά πλούσιο, προσφέρεται σε πολύ όμορφο χώρο στον τελευταίο όροφο. Οι κοπέλες του προσωπικού γλυκύτατες και εξυπηρετικές. Υπάρχει θέση στάθμευσης δωρεάν πολύ κοντά στο υπόγειο του εμπορικού κέντρου. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική. Όποιος βρεθεί στο Aveiro, να μη παραλείψει να απολαύσει μια βόλτα στην Costa Nova με τα θαυμάσια χρωματιστά ριγέ σπίτια και τη θέα στον Ατλαντικό λίγο πριν το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Τέλεια διαμονή!

Das Frühstückszimmer war überfüllt mit Kinderfamilien,das mässig kleingehaltene Büfett ,klein und chique,ist nicht geeigenet für Kinderfamilien!Bei 8 passionsfrüchten die gebracht werden,stürzen sich 4 leute drauf und weg ist es!Natürlich wird es immer wider nachgefüllt,aber eben nicht schnell genug und so gibt man sich mit einer übriggebliebenen halben erdbeere zufrieden!

Very nice and clean with interesting history of rooms. Breakfast and deck amazing view over canal. Has elevator and AC. Staff were all very friendly! Parking is a short walk under the shopping mall and the car was safe overnight. Short walk to canal cruises, restaurants and local shops.

Room left little opportunity to manage towels after use, or use a mirror.

Location was perfect, everything was right nearby. We stayed in the Master Suite at the front of the property so it had the perfect view of the canal boats. The rooftop breakfast & honor bar had a wonderful view with great food & service. Front desk staff was very helpful & every suggestion she made for dinner or treats was spot-on!

Because it had a beautiful view of the canal & the boats, it was on a busy, noisy street. When the windows were closed it was OK, but it was such a beautiful night we wanted them open, and it was noisy until late at night.

Малко е далеч от истински четиризвезден хотел. Малка беше стаята и доста скъпа. Късно настаняване. Общо взето почива на стари лаври и на това,че сградата е историческа. Помолихме да ни дадат нещо за закуска за из път след като щяхме да тръгнем много преди часовете за закуска, която все пак ни се полага. Разбрахме се за сандвичи, като си мислех все пак,че ще са няколко малки или два големи. Получихме два малки сандвича с диаметър 4см и нищо друго.

Lage mitten in Aveiro ist perfekt. Tolles Haus mit Geschichte. Freundliches Personal welches uns auf unser Zimmer begleitet hat und etwas zur Geschichte des Hauses erzählt hat. Ein Glas Portwein zur Begrüßung. Schöne Dachterasse mit Aussicht und Selbstbedienungsbar. Zimmer schön gestaltet, man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt. Parkplatz in dem naheliegenden Parkhaus.

Frühstück war etwas übersichtlich.

The hotel is really stylish and a little bit artsy, the staff were all wonderful and the breakfast really good. We even had ripe papaya as a fruit choice on one day. The view of one of the canals and the traditional Moliceiro fishing boats was great, but if you don't have a room facing that direction there is a lovely terrace on the 3rd floor with outdoor seating. Given the location on a major road and pedestrian square, our room was remarkably quiet.

Nothing really, but in the room we booked there isn't a lot of storage space if you are travelling with a bit of luggage. This is an unavoidable result of preserving the original interiors of the building. If you arrive in a car, it can be tricky finding somewhere to stop to collect the parking pass.
