No extra toilet paper. No internet password. Don”r explain about the tv.

Parking was easy and right in front of the cabin. The reading lights by the bed and the plug socket was not working. The heater clearly hadn't been used or cleaned in a long time because as soon as you turn it on, there was dust flying about and a musty smell like mould. Staff were friendly.

It was average for a roadside motel. Needs some upgrading and attention to detail.

Missing a hair dryer, a little dated but very functional. Bed was a little hard, only 3 pillows. Close to town and grocery store. Overall clean and functional. End of season so pool was closed. Massive fields for kids to play in behind office away from road. Soccer, baseball.frisbee catch. Nice.

I would not recommend this place,is totally overrated and very spensive for such poor place The location is no good,you have to drive everywhere,for eating if you dont care for indian food,you starve,they dont cater to anyoneelse ,but their own kind,they offer fire pits but no wood My wife actually had an accident in their premisses due to the fact that it was poor iluminated and uneven grounds,and they did nothing about it And to top it off the boats were not running because a little wind So overall is a disaster,the place is not worth visiting

It’s ok not going to revisit

Location is great, just 4 - 5 minutes drive from the core town of Tobermory. Room is spacious but bathroom is extremely small. However, I had a good time staying at the property. Quiet area, good outdoor space and ample parking available.

Clean room, staff was accommodating and made cute decor in our room for our anniversary really appreciated

The stairs going up to the 2nd floor rooms were questionable, very loose and loud. We stayed just the 1 night because we were catching the Ferry over to the Island. Overall, a Great experience

Good choice when staying in Tobermory. Room was spacious and clean, and beds were reasonably comfortable. Staff at front desk were friendly.

The staff was lovely and attentive. But the stay was not comfortable. The rooms were worn.The pool had garbage in it and there were various building code violations throughout the property, especially with the upper room decks and stairs. I would not recommend.

Bed is a little hard

The property and stay was clean, well prepped before arrival… We just wished some of the interior was a bit more updated and newer, overall great staff quiet and easy to access.

It was clean but the motel was pretty minimal for the price paid. The beds were hard, the pillows paper thin. The TV converter did not work well, neither did the fridge. We came back one night to no parking spot. Also, there was no one in the office until 8:30/9:00 in the morning. Considering many excursions people come for start before that I felt it was a very late start for front desk staff.

This place is just a regular low cost motel where we paid over 350 I searched for hotels with breakfast and I got three choices and this was one of them and we found they were not offering any breakfast and we couldn't get toaster to toast our bagels. The staff doesn't anything about customer service. I felt so bad in front of my kids

Good location but the property is a bit old

In the website it did not specify that the currency is in USD. I booked it knowing that it’s in CAD because we are in Canada but when it was charged to my credit card it was in USD. The place is a little bit pricey for that amount.

For the price, this stay was very disappointing. The room and washroom were not clean, with drips on the mirror, floor, and walls. A strong moldy odor came from the old AC and curtains, which seemed unwashed for months. In our 3-night stay, the room was never cleaned—unacceptable for the cost.

The grass wasn’t cut, our toilet was clogged and the pool was black. The staff claimed they were “waiting” for the pool to clear up. I don’t think they put chemicals in it.

It was convenient spot for us! We were 6 mins away from tobermory and 20 mins from the Grotto and 38 mins from lionshead. What was advertised and provied not impressed. No pool, no breakfast provided as advertised. Rooms was spaces and clean but not as advertised was more moden and new looking no deck or patio. Old and out to date. Beds are a double and old. Need more care and love For what we paid not going back to this spot. Parking was free, there was a fridge. Coffee maker, I didnt use. Bring your own if possible. Please update the listing because people will be disappointed.

If there was a no star rating, this property would have earned it! From start to finish it was the worst hotel my husband and I have ever stayed in. The reception area is adjacent to an ethnic restaurant that is not conducive to receiving guests. That said, we had to wait 3 hrs for the room to be cleaned. Ice was not readily available for drinks in the room. The flooring is not installed correctly so it is amazing that someone has not been hurt staying in this property. Towels were rationed two per guest. Now let me get to the bed! The sheet, because there was only one covering the mattress, was not enough for a couple to be comfortable in an airconditioned room. The fan/air-conditioned was noisy and unhelpful all night! As this was the most expensive night of our holiday, we were a little disappointed at the under achieving hotel.

Very clean place and friendly staff. There weren't enough pillows or enough coffee for the coffee maker in the room, but the staff was very quick in providing. Could use a multiple outlet for the fridge/microwave/coffee maker so you don't have to unplug one to use the other. No hair dryer, and could also use a hanger close to the shower and a mirror in the bedroom. Indian food in the restaurant was top notch.

The beds were very hard, no microwave, very thin toilet paper, towels were rough and too small, small fridge on floor and TV screen was blurry and damaged.

Accessible, close to key attractions, and clean. Only con was the tap water was very low pressure and would barely come out.

Large property with fire pits and pool. Room was clean but tv was sketchy. Could use a continental breakfast. Have restaurant but not open in morning.

The location to the downtown area was closed, I like the pool and fireplace in the back, there’s nothing that I didn’t like it was just ok. The price was not too bad. I would stay there again.

reliable service

The cabin was a good choice, as it is set away from the other units, on its own, increasing the feeling of privacy. Lovely to wake up with your own deck, looking out over greenery.

Staff was really friendly

The staff was very kind and helpful. We did however have to ask for Kleenex and toilet paper. The room was pretty clean but unfortunately the mattress had a lot of wear and tear so not comfortable.

Staff very friendly. Grounds beautiful. Fridge and microwave were in the floor could use another table. Nightstand light burnt out. Not enough plug ins easily accessible. Shower curtain was very dirty and needed replacing. Bed was comfortable. Would probably not stay again.

Ajay the receptionist was wonderful. I had paid for two nights but unfortunately could only stay one night and did not have any trouble getting my refund back.

The bed was clean and comfortable. Towels were old and rough. Hair blower is available upon request. I found this insulting, as if they didn’t trust me not to steal it. Needs updating, paint peeling off walls. Barbecues are available, but no barbecue tools? There was a nice pool and lounging areas as well as fire pits, which was very nice. After staying at this place I believe all good reviews, specially the 10/10 are fake. The place is old, the common area seems like a junkyard with abandoned cars and facilities need a huge upgrade, pictures don't show the reality. Extremely overpriced. We stayed at the cabin and for one of the windows there is no shade or blackout curtains so it was extremely bright early morning, washroom with no hangers for towels, faucet not working properly, spilling water in weird directions, towels are old and smell weird, no hot water in the shower, it would get warm at best, weird smell in the place overall. Not sure if owner or friends with the owner driving a loud car close to the cabin frequently. Finally, we had to leave one day early and the guy at the reception said he would put the cabin available and in case someone took it they would refund us for the night, we checked online and the cabin never appeared as available so don't think they even tried. Not recommended!

Pool was a bit merky. I have a pool, and i wouldn't have gone in this one. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room felt unfinished(mini fridge was just on the floor, painting was not good, cigarette burn on the bed comforter. dead bugs squished on the wall) check in was easy. The back of the building looked like a chicken coop.

It’s a convenient location close to the harbour but the facilities need update as TV and toilet flush were not working. Soap pump was broken. Curtains were missing hooks and need cleaning. We had to wait 24 hours to have people fixed them.

Good overall experience...

An overflowing garbage can was near the motel office door.The room's refrigerator froze all our food so it was unusable. The toilet seat was loose and about to fall off and the toilet almost overflowed. It was fixed when we called for help. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and adequate.

Extremely over priced ! Health and safety concerns throughout . Sewer smell in many rooms. Very run down!!!!

Overpriced and it needs major upgrades. The room was dark and some light that didn't work. Weak internet and not many channels to choose from. The restaurant was very dark and under staffed. I won't be going back to this motel!

I went on their website,In my opinion I found the website a bit misleading.The stairs looked very old,and was need of some repair,wifi was very poor.

Very friendly and efficient concierge. We were in the cabin. It was a bit musty smelling but bed was comfy and it had pretty much everything we needed. Some suggestions: full length mirror; more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels et al; hair dryer would have been nice.

No exhaust fan in washroom . There were mosquito in room .

Despite the many ants in the room, everything was very clean. Fairly newly upgraded facilities. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Pool area was safe and clean. Lovely staff made us feel welcome.

Loud construction across the street, walls are thin and can hear the people next door. The room perfume was very strong.

Was nothing special

Spent 1 night July 4-July 5, 2025. Did not explore the pool area. Gravel parking and accessible to suites. Clean area, no garbage. Quick dheck-in. Stayed in a room on the upper level. I had to put in my earbuds. I could hear people talking and hear music, not extremely loud, but enough to keep me awake. I am a sensitive sleeper. Bathroom was clean , especially toilet. Good flush. The shower volume is good and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was provided. I found the bed sheet was making me itchy and the mattress was okay. I would rate property as a clean 3-star inn.

The room did not contain what was advertised, there wasn’t a lock on the door, the tv didn’t work and the pool was out of service. It was only after multiple complaints that they moved our room however there was ZERO sound proofing. We could hear the people beside us and everything they were saying/watching on tv, could hear the other side of us brush their teeth, shower and the children in the space under us. The structural integrity of the building should also be taken into consideration as when other units have people walk around your room WILL shake.

When I book it’s Sid they have the pool but when we arrive we we so mad no pool the room east clean was spider on the floor …

Didnt expect it to be like this. Good reviews were all fake! Such an old dirty place to stay with molds rusty doors. Pool is under renovation that didnt say in their website. All photos in their website is just for attraction not in reality. Such a disappointment for a family trip.

It was ahold experience. My kids like it. It was clean. Food was good. They were extremely friendly.

Great stay

Great value. Stayed over to catch the ferry in the morning which was minutes away. Close to restaurants. Spacious and clean room.

The room we got didn’t look anything like the pictures advertised. The water closet was so tiny, I had to step into the shower to close the door. The pool water was green. All that said, the room was quite clean… one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The bed was sufficiently comfortable. I never got the chance to try the restaurant.

our neighbours were ridiculously loud until 1 am at 12am we told them off at 1am hotel staff finally told them off. the guy said hed call us back abt getting a partial refund for the issues and he ghosted us. fridge also froze all our food for the 2 and a half days we were there.

Clean room with very friendly helpful service. Great location. We booked the family room and it was very comfortable.

Rooms were very clean although very outdated. Bathroom very small. Couldn't even find a spot for my toiletrie bag. No shower gel or hair dryer. Bed was like sleeping on a board. Too much money for the price.

Everything was fine except for the WiFi is not usable it’s too weak

Overall we had a great stay but pool was not open, though they have mentioned that they have pool on the property and it opens till 10PM. So it was a big scam. Rest of things were good.

Staff hard to get ahold of. No one was readily available at checkin or checkout. Had to call a cellular to reach someone. They could not provide a receipt at checkout which was annoying. Room was fine. The gravel parking lot is annoying, but understandable given the age of the property. Also, not really a great value for the amount they charge per night in my opinion.

Amazing property !

They provide a family room to fit up to 6 people. Allowed us to save the cost of booking for 2 rooms!
