Me sorprendio que tuviese una cocina con todo lo necesario, asi como un area de comedor y estaciones de trabajo. La habitacion muy comoda y con todo lo necesario. Supero mis espectativas.

Creo que la limpieza puede mejorar. El piso de la habitacion se sentia pegajoso, y el microhondas tenia manchas en la superficie de stainless steel. Nada que fuese grave, es solo que soy exigente con la limpieza.

Our stay was excellent. Maria at the front desk was exceptional. She gave us a curated list of favorite attractions, restaurants, beaches, and nightlife in the area, and was very friendly and helpful overall. There was a water outage during our stay (city-wide, no fault of the property), and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It had powerful air conditioning and great bathroom facilities. The property has a communal refrigerator and dining room on the second floor, along with workstations perfect for longer stays. The parking lot is gated and just across the sidewalk, which was very convenient for our rental. Its location, just one block away from Calle Loíza, was very convenient as well. We can't wait to return.

Housekeepers did not clean our room or bathrooms. Did not replenish amenities. Did not even have bath towels for us when we arrived. Staff is not present after 4-5PM to help. The room was super humid and wet. Had to keep AC on all night. Both my friend and I had to keep our robes on every night in bed. Bathroom had no hooks or shelves to put anything. There was mold on the faucets.

coming from a AirBnb property three streets away that had cockroaches to this was 100x better. should've just came here in the first place.

volveré, me quedé en en hotel como emergencia por trabajo y reservé el mismo día. me encantó mi habitación, muy espaciosa y olorosa. la limpieza sin duda fue 20/10. Luego de mi estancia rápida, los seguí en instagram y desconocía totalmente del desayuno y que también tienen un área para tipo co-work al parecer. Espero volverrrr, recomendaré el hotel a otros compañeros y familia.

Lo que no me gustó fue, que inicialmente reserve el hotel porque entendía que tenía parking privado pero me tocó estacionar mi vehículo en la calle de alfrente. Cosa que para mí, al ser mujer no me gusta.

We got a tiny room with just the space for two beds and nothing else. Bathroom was in the hallway and required us to walk out of the room in bathrobes.

Garsas pakankamai didelis sklindantis iš lauko ir iš vidaus. Kadangi išėjus iš kambario yra bendra virtuvė ir laisvalaikio erdvė, viskas girdisi, jei ten yra žmonių. Ausų kištukai būtini. Lova ne pati patogiausia, atsigulus atrodo, kad guli duobėje. Kainos ir kokybės santykis ne pats geriausias, bet to priežastis galėjo būti tuo metu vykęs "Spring break". Man asmeniškai nepatinka "amerikietiški" patalynių užvalkalai, kadangi tai yra tiesiog paklodė su ant viršaus uždėtu pledu. Gal tai įprasta praktika, bet sumokėjus visą sumą, viešnagės metu įstaiga nuskaičiavo 75 dolerius nuo mano kredito kortelės, bet po viešnagės grąžino. Šeimininkė to nepaminėjo.

The mattress was not comfortable. The water does not get hot only warm. Certain rooms do not have a bathroom inside the room. No fridge or microwave inside the room.

Our room didn't have an external facing window so it made waking up difficult.

Common open space with a shared kitchen

The bed sagged toward the center, causing us to slide into the middle. My body ended up tilted, and I had to place a pillow under my lower back just to keep my hips level. The windows were made of very thin plastic instead of proper glass or thick acrylic, so the noise from the street came through clearly all night. Every sound outside was audible. The pillowcase also had a few hairs on it. After a sleepless night because of all these issues, I emailed the property asking to change rooms and to receive fresh, clean sheets. I didn’t get a reply. Later, we ran into the host while she was showing the hotel to someone else. I asked if she had seen my email. She said yes and that she would get back to me. She never did. If you don’t mind sleeping poorly—or not sleeping at all—this hotel might still work for you, but it wasn’t a good experience for me

The staff was very friendly and gave a lot of good recommendations where to go! Also they were very accommodating, I had flight issues and they worked with me.

María (recepcionista) fue increíblemente amable con nosotros. Nos hizo llegar recomendaciones de todo tipo. La entrada y salida fueron muy fáciles de realizar y la zona era muy buena, muchos restaurantes/farmacias/supermercados caminando.

Los colchones de las camas son MUY aguados, de esos que hasta te hundes un poco. Tuvimos un pequeño incidente con una cucaracha pequeña que apareció en la cama pero el personal del hotel nos hizo favor de cambiar las sábanas.

Loved the location, cost and especially the quality of the place. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful.

I would have liked that a small table and chairs in our room was available. Also, more hooks in the bathroom near the shower would have been more convenient. Overall, nice place and I would book with them again.

De hulp van de receptioniste op de ochtend van vertrek, zij deed echt alles om me te hulpen met info en de juiste pier te vinden voor de vertrek van de cruise.

De financiële afhandeling, het hostel rekende extra kosten 40 euro aan voor bloedvlekjes op de lakens door het opengaan van een wondje. Bij vertrek was dit geen enkel probleem volgens de receptie, ik heb dit gemeld bij vertrek, poetsman is gaan kijken, daarna werden mij foto's gestuurd, zonder dat de lakens gewassen waren, ja dat wist ik ook! Vreemde praktijken hier loont eerlijkheid dus niet!

I got there very late, around 2-3am, so it was self-check in. I wish I got the full instructions earlier so I wouldn't worry, but it all worked out in the end. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. I was literally there for less than 8 hours, just to sleep and shower. Maria at reception was amazing. Let me repeat that Maria at reception was a stand out and the only reason I would recommend this place in the future.

My room was right next to reception, and had one window out to the common area. It was noisy in the morning. I can't believe I paid this much money for this room, but that seems to be par for course in PR. We're now paying half month's rent for a windowless room in the middle nowhere that vibrates with noise starting at 6am? This is half the reason no one is visiting America anymore. The other half, well, watch the news.

Impossible to sleep due to sound from outside the room, mattress is so soft and uncomfortable, no direct sun light.

Early check in with friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable bed. We had a separate bathroom, but this was private and in close proximity. Great modern kitchen facilities. Located within 10 minute walk to beach.

The property didn’t have some of the amenities that if you travel you get used to and probably take for granted. However, when they’re absent they become very noticeable like drinking cups, coffee maker, microwave and fridge.

New towels were not provided for the 5 days we stayed till the last day the stagg asked if we needed new towels. Bathroom stayed humid with no ventilation.

Comunicação com o staff. Tive um problema com o chuveiro do meu quarto e rapidamente foi resolvido. A Maria foi muito simpática e nós deu muitas dicas de passeios, restaurantes e história de Puerto Rico.

I stayed at this property about 6/7 times and it is always a Great Time ! Nothing but Awesomeness from the hotel.

Within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. Hotel provided a list of nearby restaurants, stores and distance to the beach and sights which was useful.

I would definitely recommend La buena vida also would 100% stay again if I want to be in Santurce area next time. Staff made my whole stay feel like home as soon as I arrived. Lots of things walking distance but also calling uber/lyft was never super expensive from here either.

Loved my room, the staff was friendly and helpful with questions I had.

Lo atento que fue el personal

El personal fue espléndido. La chica que nos recibió nos hizo muchísimas recomendaciones sobre qué ver en PR, dónde comer, dónde salir por la noche, etc. Si te alojas aquí el primer día de tu viaje, te organiza el resto en un momento.

Nos encontramos dos hormigas en la cama y el baño, que estaba separado de la habitación (como bien se indicaba en la descripción) no tenía ningún tipo de ventilación y olía mucho a humedad.

Super amables, fuimos a la playa el último día y preguntamos si un poco más tarde de hacer el check out, podríamos ducharnos al volver de la playa. Nos dijeron que por supuesto teníamos acceso al baño compartido, fue un muy buen detalle. Las instalaciones super limpias, la parte de la cocina es muy moderna y con todo lo necesario.

This place was ok for a last minute booking. Some rooms do not have their own bathroom in the room, it’s across the hall. Common areas do not have AC. Our room had a working AC unit, shower handle fell off when we turned on the water, it was fixed the next day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s not situated in the nicest area. Uber rides to Old San Juan ranged $6-$15.

La Buena Vida Inn was a phenomenal stay for my son and I. The staff was so helpful and kind, the room was always comfortable and the stay was quiet. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for such a great vacation!

Parking on the street is hard to find, not the best immediate neighborhood, but the property itself was fantastic!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk who was more than helpful. She put together a little pamphlet of nearby places to eat and things to do which was very nice. The room was cute and clean as well as the shared lobby area. Also the location is close to many restaurants and beaches. The staff were very exceptional and very friendly, and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend staying here.

Small boutique inn. Our room was spacious and had enough room for the 3 of us. Beds were comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. Located close to shops, restaurants and the beach. They also had a separate parking lot where I could leave my rental car. Would definitely stay here again, next time I visit PR.

The room has the basics. We need it just for a couple of hours every night (two nights) but the room needs some love and care. The good thing was the service. Miss Botello was amazing, she helped us with everything and made us feel at home. Of course has a good location it depends on what you need was ok for us they can do better and we did make some suggestions

The front desk ladies were so lovely (Nicole and Maria I believe). They made me feel comfortable, safe and were so informative on the area! I would love to come back! My only issue was that there should be a shelf inside the showers to hold bath items. But other than that, it was close to everything and I had a great time. Also loved the waters stocked in the fridge!
