Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Wat een mooi en bijzonder Zwitsers hotel, op een prachtige locatie. Uitzicht is adembenemend en het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Gemoderniseerde en karakteristieke kamer, met alle gemakken voorzien. Ondanks we in een warme periode daar waren, was onze kamer erg koel. En erg schoon! Gezellige restaurant en een tuin met een prachtig uitzicht. Ontbijt was zeker uitgebreid en lekker. Het diner moet je ook zeker niet overslaan. Vriendelijk personeel, meedenkend en staan echt in om voor je te zorgen. In de omgeving wat gewandeld en er is genoeg moois te zien. Interlaken is een paar minuten rijden en de omgeving van Jungfraujoch op een half uur rijden, makkelijk te doen. Verblijf dus heerlijk in een rustige omgeving, waar je ook echt tot rust kunt komen en de drukte kunt opzoeken.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Tolle Lage und sehr nette Gastgeber. Sehr gutes Frühstück, das Brot ist phänomenal. Leider kamen wir nur einmal in den Genuss der guten Küche da Montag und Dienstag das Hotelrestaurant geschlossen hat.
Unser Zimmer war groß aber relativ dunkel. Leider entsprach das Badezimmer keinem Standard. Linoleum statt Fliesen, Wanne mit abgeplatzter Beschichtung, Badezimmertür kaum schließbar (Holz verzogen), alles in allem kein Platz zum wohlfühlen. Dies soll aber nicht heißen, dass wir dort nicht mehr buchen würden. Nur nicht mehr diese Zimmerkategorie.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The hotel is located in a nice Alps village that could be easily reached out by bus from Interlaken. Our room is in a historical wooden building which is quite spacious and lovely. The hosts were super helpful and warm. They were very nice to help us book the bus 107 since we didn't speak German. The breakfast was great, and the coffee was made for you. The restaurant in the hotel is also super good. They served homemade, fresh and tasty food with a reasonable Swiss price. I have been in Swiss for 7 years, and I have to admit this is the best restaurant I have ever visited!
It would be convenient if they provided slippers in the room.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Room is spacious and clean. The surrounding is quiet. Our hosts are young couples, sweet and attentive. They packed a breakfast box on the morning we left earlier to catch the bus. We ate twice in the restaurant and each time exceeded our expectations. The property is in Habkern. It is accessible by bus 106 from Interlaken and stop at Post. And from there, only a few steps to the property. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful.

We were welcomed by a staff member who showed us our room, and told us the details of the stay. This was one of the best and warmest welcomes I have ever received in any hotel - really lovely.. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both good.
At the time we stayed, there was a problem with flies in the indoor restaurant.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026This is about 15 minutes out of Interlaken West. Super easy to get to via the bus which comes by every hour. We loved the fact it was a small village and we were staying in a cottage feel accommodation.
The beds are a bit hard! there was no mini fridge provided in the room.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Das Zimmer war zwar klein aber dafür sehr komfortabel. Zudem hatten wir unser eigenes Badezimmer, was in der Schweiz wohl nicht unbedingt der Standard zu sein scheint. Das war auch der einzige Grund für uns, warum wir so ein hochpreisiges Hotel gewählt haben. Das Frühstück war absolute Klasse!
Das Fliegengitter in Raum 207 könnte dringend Aufmerksamkeit gebrauchen!

I think we possibly got the oldest and worst room there was available, the bathroom was awful, stains in the bath, stains on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. Some rooms look like they’ve been renovated but we had an awful bathroom with that looked like vinyl on the walls which was missing in some parts, the ceiling was almost falling off. There was dust and cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom. Very remote location, yes there’s a bus but the timetable is useless with 2hr gaps between one bus. (We had a car so wasn’t an issue but there isn’t much in this village so if you need to pop down to the shop it’s a good 15minute drive) The staff were lovely, we had breakfast booked but were leaving before it opened so was offered some breakfast boxes which we got told would be brought up later on, never received them so was a little disappointing but didn’t expect them to offer it anyway.
