the fact that we had dinner included for the whole group including children but then at the restaurant we were told that children were not included with no clear explanation we were very disappointed further more we did not have enough choice on the menu and the service was very slow despite the fact that the restaurant and the bar were not crowded.

The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. It also had an outdoor balcony, great view, excellent appliances and comfortable furniture. The breakfast was fabulous with an outstanding and large buffet, cooked to order eggs and dozens of pastry, fruit and meat choices. Patricia at the cooks corner, made our breakfast experience special with her great production of excellent omelets. Her gracious and attentive personality made our experience really special. Breakfast is good but the hotel needs to improve on preparing eggs for visitors. They must train their staff properly and at least buy proper equipment to prepare breakfast.

The eggs were not looking good and not tasting nice.

Very clean and nice hotel. Felt at home. Reception crew exceptional so as lungelo at the restaurant very god though so ladies at the restaurant not professional at all.

Ladies at the restaurant need to be professional and customer conscious . Also limited breakfast only processed meats

The bathroom was kicking water

My shower’s drain was blocked very badly. There were noises during the night coming from the air conditioner. I had to pay for parking at what is understood to be a premium hotel with an empty parking lot. This charge is simply ridiculous.

The shower kept flooding. The walls are not sound proof so we could hear sounds from our neighbours. We have a flickering light issue that took maintenance ages to come fix. The air-con situation is a bit weird- you have to physically gwt up to adjust the temperature on the wall as there is no remote available.

The staff is friendly, the facilities are clean, nice play area and pool for the kids. Overall, good value for money.

I booked the half board option, I was told at the property that the half board option excludes my daughter. That didn’t make sense to me. If I had known, I would have booked bed and breakfast as I ended up paying more money for nothing.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, very clean rooms, housekeeping staff were thorough and polite, impeccable cleaning and spotless towels. All utilities were in good working order. So serene and restful . I loved the gym so much and my full body massage at the spa was amazing. I will definitely be back again

Great hotel in the heart of Sandton. The facilities are excellent, with very friendly staff at reception and across the bars. The courtesy shuttle to Nelson Mandela Square is invaluable and runs smoothly. The property feels very safe, with secure parking, and the artwork adds a lovely touch. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was terrible, and was well below expectation with multiple stations cold. The staff were not interested and disappointing is an understatement. This is by far the worst breakfast that I have had in all of SA. My score reflects this.

The hotel is modern, vibrant with a pool terrace, restaurant and bar. The buffet breakfast has a wide choice of food. The beds are comfortable with good air con in the rooms. Our room was spacious. The location is excellent for access to Sandton City.

I like the set up of the rooms, they are big, clean and top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It felt like a home away from home.

My toilet at room 1924 leaks, seems like water from the shower seeps through. They don’t always clean rooms properly or provide all items like cookies when you stay more than a day. More attention should be given to more than one day stays

My visit was during the week of the cold front, upon arrival my room was warmly set up. The staff are generally welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and was enjoyable.

There is gentlemen called Thomas,he made us so comfortable , we felt at home ,he really helped us with where everything is… when you new in an area there is always an element of uncertainty but he managed to help us ,his smile and cheerful character made it easy for us to ask anything. Beautiful property but bad service

We recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and while the property itself is beautiful and very clean, the overall service was extremely disappointing. On the first day, after a long flight, we ordered dinner through room service. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect—some items were missing, and our request for chicken with the sauce on the side was ignored. Instead, it arrived covered in an unappetizing sauce. We also ordered a salad, which never arrived. The following morning, breakfast was again incorrect, with wrong items delivered. Later, we were served dinner at a table that had not been cleared from the previous night, with leftover food still on it. When we asked a server to clear it, he initially refused until we insisted. There were a few positives—lunch from room service was very good, and one of the breakfasts we had was excellent, with attentive staff and correct orders. However, these moments were overshadowed by repeated service failures. At the bar restaurant, we once again received food with sauce despite clearly requesting no sauce. The waiter was unfriendly, slow to attend to us, and seemed rushed. To make matters worse, we found a piece of yellow plastic in our food, which required a manager’s intervention and apology. Room service continued to be inconsistent. On our final morning, breakfast was incomplete—missing bread, fruit, and avocado. After waiting over an hour and calling to follow up, we were still left waiting. Eventually, after more than two hours, we cancelled most of the order. The bread arrived after 1 hour and 30 minutes, at which point it was no longer needed. Check-in was also disappointing, as the staff member was not welcoming and did not make any effort to greet us warmly. Additionally, our first room had no hot water due to a faulty geyser.

They have very poor services. Staff shut down water supply without any prior info & while staff never understand customer pain, it’s really very painful experience when it comes to their services & hospitality, complete holiday was ruined by their staff, 1. We ordered vegan food & kitchen never gave it a damn to just act as per customer requirement. 2. Showers were not having hot water supplies 3. Staff repair this job in 6 hours & complete villa was without water for 6 hours. 4. Kitchen staff & plumbing staff is a big pain so please avoid visiting this property, will keep you all posted with other such pictures every week

Beautiful hotel!!! Very large room comfortable with nice with mini kitchen and washer/dryer that was very helpful!! Room service food was fantastic, the spa was great and perfect massages! Great facilities! The staff was excellent and very kind and helpful!! Special mention to Karabo, who went out of his way when I arrived to walk with me to a nearby store to pick up a few extra items I needed so I didn't have to go alone. This was above and beyond and so appreciated! Thank you all! This will be my stay from now on here. Highly recommend!!
