I've been visiting Naxos for years and always wanted to come here. The location is amazing right on the best most gorgeous beach in Plaka Naxos, some lovely taverna's a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The hotel is really pretty cycladic style. We loved breakfast I can't believe some people said there was no choice there was lots of choice. I mean how much do you need for breakfast. Eggs, yogurt, lots of fruit, breads, pastries sweet and savoury feta and spinach pies. We also loved the breakfast room and the relaxing music playing.

On arrival to our room it did look dated, although clean. There was no kettle in our room or cups, when we phoned reception we were told it's because we have a standard room, but a kettle is basic as are cups and I also asked prior to arriving about a kettle and were told there would be one so we didn't need to bring one. Our garden view room was overlooking the waste ground and bins, it would be a good option to hide the bins and do something with the land such as trees and flowers, such a pretty hotel and could be so much better. We were at the pool one day and I asked where is the WC and I was pointed down some steps behind the pool. I'm sure these must have been staff toilets and not for guests as the toilets were dirty, smelt bad and the door handle was hanging off. The gym I don't think should be advertised really, there is very basic equipment in a small dark room just by the toilets down some steps behind the pool. The pool looks beautiful but the water is freezing cold. The sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool - there were holes in the crochet design of the umbrellas so you couldn't get shade. You couldn't rest in bed and lie in in the mornings as the cleaners would start around 7:30/8 am as amazing and hardworking as they are maybe they could start a little later as people are resting on holiday. Staff don't seem very happy and look quite stressed you can always tell by the staff if they're enjoying their work and it really gives off a good vibe, but we didn't feel that here, whereas in other places we stayed on this holiday the customer service was excellent. With more maintenance and attentiveness this hotel could be 5 star but I would only say 3 star at the moment

Bar closed up (ie couldn’t stay in there ) at 11. Staff quite bored looking esp breakfast girl. Would be good to put bills on room rather than have to pay every time. Breakfast juices and coffee awful, v but ok selection of food. Annoying to have to have a minimum spend at beach beds, should be free for hotel residents

We got water the first day in the room we had to buy it after that , spa on the balcony was not clean hairs in it and a scum mark , caters for its German contingent , very poor coffee at breakfast no milk provided in the room

Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter:innen, direkt am Meer gelegen. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Obwohl ein Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht war, wurden wir zuerst in ein eigenartiges, altmodisches Familienzimmer mit zwei Schlafzimmern halb im Keller gesteckt. Nach einigem hin und her und einer Nacht in wieder einen anderen Zimmer, ließ sich das aber lösen. Der Orangensaft beim Frühstück ist wässrig und der Kaffee ist leider abscheulich. Besser verzichten, denn der Cappuccino an der Poolbar jeden Cent wert.

Location was amazing. As others have said, bed are very very firm- not the most comfortable. However, for the price and the location, it was worth it. Staff also was incredibly helpful and kind.

Excellent location on Plaka Beach, close to many wonderful restaurants. Beach side chair rental and food service was convenient. Hotel pool was large and never overly crowded.

The breakfast wasn’t the best. Would be lovely to have a fresh omlet station, waffle maker, and better coffee.

The pool and the breakfast were amazing. Also the entertainment room had a ping pong and billiard table, which was nice. The staff was verz friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are a little “old fashioned”. The bed was a little hard. The showers had no curtains. It’s ridiculous to pay 40€ for a sun bed at the beach after paying that much for the room.

100 metres from the best beach at Naxos. Good breakfast. Large and clean swimming pool. A lot of place to park rented car. Green. Very good sunbeds at the beach (you have to pay additional for them or you may order food and drinks for a certain value).

The restaurant which belongs to a hotel (3 brothers) is not the best. There are better in the vicinity.

The location right on Plaka Beach. Plaka Beach is wonderful, crystal clear water, good for beach walks as well, and very clean.

You pay above all the location, right on the beach. Hotel rooms are ok at best, the room for our children had barely a window and was extremely basic regarding furniture and decoration. Breakfast is really poor, there are virtually no healthy options apart from some watermelon, and you can order eggs. Strange surprise, in order to use the beach chairs and umbrellas you have to assure a minimum consumption of about 30 EUR per person per day, i.e. having lunch/drinks for that amount on the beach, which came to another 150 EUR at least per day for our family, without the option to eat in one of the other beach taverns. We had not understood that when we booked and several other hotel guests did not either. Beach service was efficient and nice, though, once you gotten used to that idea.

The room and pool were excellent, we got upgraded to a hot tub in our balcony. The pool was great, with no issues with getting beds. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A utilização de camas e guarda-sóis, na praia, pressupõe uma obrigação de consumo mínimo de serviços de bebidas e restauração, sendo a reserva das camas efetuada diariamente. Preferiria pagar um pouco mais pela estadia, e este serviço estar incluído, com reserva do equipamento de forma automática, associada ao quarto.

We have been travelling for a month and have genuinely enjoyed every accommodation we have stayed in — until arriving at Aegean Palace. Unfortunately, the photographs were very misleading compared with what we actually experienced. We paid €1,800 for a week in a standard double sea-view room. The photographs show modern, attractive rooms, but ours was extremely old-fashioned, with two single beds and dated yellow bedspreads. A topper was placed over them to create a double, but the topper was far too small as they had run out of the correct size. We had an awful night’s sleep and felt the bed arrangement was simply not fit for purpose. The advertised sea view was also very different from what we expected. Our view was over a noisy wasteland car park, nothing like the attractive views shown in the hotel’s photographs. We were moved the following day to another dated room with an old-fashioned bathroom that needed total renovation but at least this room had a nicer view & wasn’t so noisy which was an improvement. Breakfast was another major disappointment. It was easily the worst breakfast we have experienced during our month in Greece. Dried up egg dishes on a daily basis and never enough bowls out. Always had to ask. The photographs show fresh berries and attractive fruit, but these are only if you pay extra. Overall, it was a very unhealthy and disappointing breakfast, and the service was slow. Around the pool, the sunbeds have virtually no shade, so many people understandably don’t use them during the hottest part of the day. In the smaller pool area the sunbeds are on mud. The beach was also disappointing as sunbeds cost €50 in food and drink. Again, this wasn’t what we expected from the impression given by the hotel’s photographs. The most unpleasant part of our stay, however, was our experience with management. Reception staff had initially been pleasant. However, when I politely asked whether the hotel could consider a €70 reduction because we had been unable to sleep in the first room, despite having paid €1,800 for the week, the situation became extremely unpleasant. The manager, Spyros, and his sister became angry, shouting and pointing their fingers at me. They then followed me out of the hotel while continuing to shout. I was also challenged about my phone and asked to show it because they were concerned I may have taken a photograph. Everything had already been paid for, and I found the whole confrontation extremely intimidating and completely unacceptable. A discount should have been offered. There is unfortunately nothing “Palace” about our experience of this hotel. After such a fantastic month travelling around Greece, Aegean Palace was by far our worst experience. We would not return and, based on our experience, we would not recommend it.

Great location and beach. Lovely swimming pool. Really good for swimming. Clean hotel. Helpful pickup and drop off at ferry.

Overall, facilities are a bit tired. Pool table not straight. Table tennis bat broken, gym in a smelly area. Beds are really hard and rooms quite simple. No fresh towel at beach or pool.

Very nice staff, and the place is very accessible and comfortable, with excellent beach access and a delicious breakfast.

The beds were not comfortable at all, and the windows do not close fully, which lets in light when the sun rises in the morning.

El café del desayuno era muy malo y tuve que pagar por el café de cafetera. 4 euros por café. El precio del hotel Es elevado, entiendo que debería tener café en el desayuno , no café de polvos.

Perfekt läge vid en fantastisk strand. Trevliga restauranger på gångavstånd. Vi hade en fantastiskt stor balkong med utsikt över pool och hav. Bra busskommunikation till staden och hotellet erbjöd gratis transfer till hamnen.

Pågående byggarbete på hotellområdet.

Ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Der Kühlschrank war groß, nicht so ein Minibar-Ding. Ein schönes Frühstück, auch typischen und warmen Gerichten. Das fand ich wirklich großartig. Tolle Promenade mit vielen Restaurants. Nette Menschen!

Kinderbett stand unter der Klimaanlage. Wenig Obst und Müsli am Frühstücksbuffet.

Great location and pool

Rooms a little dated, but still everything you need after a long day at the beach

We stayed at Aegean Palace for three wonderful nights in July, and our experience exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the warm and attentive staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Naxos. The pool area was beautiful, well maintained, and perfect for families with children. One of the best features of the hotel is its location—just a short walk to a gorgeous beach where lounge chairs are available along with food and drink service, making it easy to spend the entire day by the sea. A special thank you to Mrs. Anna, the owner, whose hands-on approach, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. She truly cares about her guests and takes the time to ensure everyone feels at home. If you’re staying here, don’t miss dining at the nearby restaurant, Three Brothers. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is authentic, and it’s the perfect complement to an already amazing vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend Aegean Palace to anyone visiting Naxos. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel has seen better days. Clean but sterile environment. Not cosy but practical. The whole establishment could do with a substantial upgrade of their facilities.

Having someone cutting the grass with a loud lawnmower while we’re eating breakfast is not a good idea. Besides the noise, it cheapens the place tremendously. Also, there is an excellent variety of foods for breakfast, but the scrambled eggs and omelettes were lackluster. They appeared to be cooked the day before and were not even warm, let alone hot.

Absolutely a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean. The front desk was very accommodating to our needs. The pools were fantastic. Great for families. Beach was amazing. The staff on beach bringing food and drink was great. Especially Daniel. He was a great representation of the hotel. I would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! The hotel was beautiful, welcoming, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, responding quickly to every request. The rooms were large, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment! We will definitely come back :)

Great pool. Excellent buffet breakfast. Accommodated our needs- made up second bed so my adult sons did not have to share a bed. Proximity to such a wonderful beach with lounge chairs which had drinks and food service (€30 minimum spend) 20 min taxi to town, or bus €2.50 each way.

Not much! Only that our 3 rooms were no where near each other, otherwise nothing we didn’t like.

L’hotel est bien situé au bord de la page. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses avec l’équipement nécessaire. La piscine très agréable, le petit déjeuner assez copieux et les chaises à la plage pour les clients gratuits pour une consommation minimale à leur buvette de plage. Tout etait parfait. Y a pas mal de restaurants à proximité de l’hôtel et une petite épicerie également. Le personnel très gentil et à l’écoute. Nous y retournerons!

The location at Plaka was great, easy to walk across to the beach and lots of lovely restaurants. We had a room with a private pool, which was nice but the water was freezing and had no privacy. The main pool was great.

The included breakfast was absolutely terrible. The wifi was not great in the room but was good around the hotel.

We were very pleased with our stay. It was well laid out and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Colazione decisamente ottima, varia e di qualità. Pulizia adeguata , area piscina e spazi verdi molto ben curati. Staff gentile che cerca di aiutare per quanto possibile. Macchina del caffè con le cialde molto comoda. Servizio navetta incluso eccezionale .

Purtroppo nella stanza cigolava tutto (letti porte) , l’area pranzo non aveva un tavolo dove poter realmente sedersi e mangiare e la piccola cucina avevano a malapena le cose necessarie. (Colpa nostra che non abbiamo letto bene in anticipo) ma la spiaggia non e’ inclusa e obbliga una consumazione minima di 30€ per poter usare lettini e ombrellone. Per sfortuna era rotto il phon della stana la prima sera e abbiamo comunque dovuto aspettare la mattina dopo per averne uno nuovo visto che in tutta la struttura non c’era nulla di disponibile. Avevamo chiesto se era possibile organizzare il letto per nostro figlio in stanza con noi ma purtroppo al nostro arrivo ci siamo arrangiati a sistemare in modo indipendente. Discutibile forse in termini di spreco ambientale (ma ammetto essere una mia posizione personale) considerando la situazione generale sostituire 1 ma anche 2 volte al giorno tutti gli asciugamani anche se palesemente puliti o riutilizzabili e trovare ancora set monouso in plastica di prodotti da bagno.

La suite q había reservado era incomoda, me hicieron cambio a un depto.mas cómodo,sin cargo. El desayuno podría ser mejor,falta variedad de fruta y fiambre.Gluten free no había y leche sin lactosa tampoco.Tambien hubo un festejo con niños en la pileta,q complicó la estadía .El hotel necesita una actualización,cama y almohadas malas.

Beach is perfect, food in pool bar is delicious

I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but given the hotel’s high rating, our experience was disappointing and did not match our expectations. We booked a room with a private pool. While the parking lot view was visible in the photos, we were surprised by how small the pool was. It was also quite cold, as it is not heated, which limited how much we couldnt use that. The room was not functional for a longer stay. There was no wardrobe or proper storage space for clothes, only a small hanging rack. We also had an ongoing issue with flies in the room throughout our stay. We travelled with a small baby and requested a crib twice before arrival. At check-in, we were asked again whether we needed one, and we confirmed that we did. However, by 7:00 PM, when our baby needed to sleep, the crib had still not been delivered. We had to follow up again and wait longer with a tired, fussy baby before it was finally provided. other service requests also required repeated follow-ups.We asked for our bedsheets to be changed and were assured it would be done, but it was not completed that day. we ended up going there at night asking for sheet and changing it ourselves. Overall, the service often felt slow. On multiple occasions, we arrived at reception and were left waiting while staff finished conversations or other tasks without acknowledging us. Even a simple greeting or indication that we had been noticed would have been appreciated. We also found the breakfast disappointing. The selection was limited, and the quality could be much better. The plates were SO small (???), which made serving food very inconvenient. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the beautiful beach. Access requires a minimum spend at the pool bar, which was a little disappointing, but the food there was excellent and ended up being one of the best parts of our stay.

Toller strand und das zimmer mit dem jacuzzi war sehr komfortabel. In etwa 20 minuten ist man in naxos chora.

We had an appartment, the bedroom was nice but the living room was pretty bare. One couch which was more like a single bed with a creaky mattress, one coffee table and one armchair, nothing on the walls. The private terrace was nice though.

Access to pool and beach club was great.

The bedding wasn’t great, was only a sheet and thin blanket over a mattress. A bit far from Naxos town, however great for families or travellers who are looking for a quiet and relaxed location.

I like the friendly staff, excellent location, and amazing beach. The executive ensuite with private jacuzzi was an amazing experience that I enjoyed.

Vi ventet i 24 timer på en føner. Spurte om å få en parasoll på terrassen, men den kom aldri. Svært ulik møblering på terrassene. Gymmen var helt ubrukelig, bare utslitt og ødelagt teknisk utstyr.

The property was stunning!!!! Well laid out, peaceful, beautiful decor, private and the staff were super friendly and helpful!!

The hotel is in need of an update from the hotel lobby to the bedrooms.

The breakfast was very good and offered until 11am which let us sleep. The hotel was very close to the beach (although you have to pay a minimum to use the sunbeds). Lots of dining options nearby too.

The pool area was very nice, good size pool and very clean.

The rooms were very dated and furnished cheaply, with poor quality furniture. Turning over in bed was noisy as the bed was poor quality, we thought it may break. The overall feel was that this was a 3 star hotel at best, reception seemed quite un organised, breakfast was basic. We will not recommend or return.

The beach was nice.

The room was very old, the bathroom shower didnt have a glass door anymore, the water was all over the floor. It all looked like it was built 20 years ago & neber retouched again.

We would definitely return back to this place next time we go to the Greek islands

Iako smo bili gosti hotela, koji nije jeftin morali smo da imamo minimum konzumaciju od 50 eura na plazi ukoliko smo zeleli da dobijemo lezaljku i suncobran. Plaza veoma mala, bar na bazenu veoma skup.

Mussten wegen lauter Abluftgeräusche das Zimmer wechseln, bekamen kein gleichwertiges mit Meerblick. Matratze war viel zu klein für das Bett. Bad war sehr klein. Restaurant und Bar waren fast immer leer, wahrscheinlich wegen der Preise.

The lobby and hotel was…ok. clean but dated. The staff at breakfast seemed bored or uninterested. Breakfast was extensive! The food sits out under lamps for some time so hot food gets dry and hard but there is lots of options. the front staff were great and the housekeeping team. Its was slow and seemed as though the team were very ready to be done for the season. Non of the pools are heated so the suit pools that don’t get much sun are a cold plunge! The other pools were quite cold as well the ocean was warmer. They removed all the beach cushions as it rained and they never went back, many people were sitting on the wood beads instead. The spa is a room that gets used and they call Someone in to use it when needed, not a true spa. the hot-tub and sauna are an extra charge, we didn’t know that and haven’t seen that before …therefor didn’t use them. The feeling overall that we came up with was …weird. In the very peak of summer this may be an awesome option.
