Staffs are unhelpful. Only the security guard is helpful. I have heart failure and asked whether I can check in or not, as I have arrived early, they insisted that can only check in at 3pm. Im really not feeling well. And yet they dont help and I got to find a place to rest. On top of that, when I was sleeping the cleaner press the bell and said he needs to clean the room, and can I leave the room now! I never experience such thing before. I will never stay at St. Giles for the rest of my life. The breakfast buffet sucks the fried rice looks like they fried it yesterday and heat it up for tomorrow.

The place is clean and the mall is easy to go and very big. All good shops are in one place.

Technician that attended our call about aircon not cold and fridge not cold just gave us an answer that "Ouh this is normal" in Malay. It is clearly the aircon especially, not cold. Thermostat showing 10'c and i am sweating with my wife and 2yr old at night. Fyi, i am working on Chiller systems, 10'c on chiller system ACMV is actually at least 2'c on actual temperature gun reading. So either your thermostat is faulty or your actuator valve is not opening. Yes, i know what im talking about. Also, bed is very very very firm. First time having a hotel bed this firm. So uncomfortable.

Location was excellent. And being connected to Mid Valley Megamall made it easy to access food and other resources.

The hotel is definitely showing its age. With wear and tear obvious in both the rooms and along rhe corridor. I was staying in room 1422 and directly opposite me, the laminates of the other rooms were torn down. The toilet cistern in my room was also disconnected and unable to fill up after flushing, and was rectified only after I called for maintenance. I hope the upcoming refurbishment would help breathe new life to the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was APPALLING. The museli was spoiled, the salad mix was mainly plain lettuce and brown bits were not trimmed off, the fruits were mainly apples and were not washed in salt/lemon after slicing because they were BROWN. Quality has gone down a LOT. Not worth paying for breakfast. Also the renovations means you hear drilling noises on and off. Prices should have been adjusted for that.

BF was good. Location was excellent but a nightmare when i was checking out at about 5.30pm it too about 45mins to clear the traffic to reach the main road.

I wanted to book a family room for 3 pax but not sure why it was not allowed even though it was available.

No initiative to prepare additional cutlery for table of four. One has to remind them that there are 4 of us not 2 breakfast diners. So sad.

None of my requests I put down during booking was honored, in fact all were opposite of what I wanted. Had to change at the counter which they immediately gave, so it means no one was reading the special requests during booking at all. The toilet drain was constantly clogged, i had to lift the cover myself to clear out the hair; which means housekeeping is not thorough at all.

Therei is still room for improvement when come to cleaning of bedrooms n bathrooms etc. Guess the hotle needs to engage prof cleaners to clean the windows outside cos rather unsightly n unpleasant looking.

Great Views: High-floor rooms (such as on the 21st floor) offer great city views. Bathroom & Room Cleanliness: The toilet could be cleaner and had a slight lingering odor. Tabletop surfaces in the room also had visible stains. Linen Wear & Tear: Towels were hit-or-miss (a mix of older and newer ones), and the bedding had small visible tears. Basic Setup: Room features and furnishings are quite basic, making it best suited for short weekend trips rather than an extended stay.

Find that the breakfast spread is not much. We went for breàkfast at 630am. Most of the food were prepared which is good but the waffles and pancakes were stale and hard..not edible. Other than that, all good.

The room, the bedding, entertainment on TV. The room service very precise on time. In room dinning food very good. House keeping staffs well mannered and helpful. Front desk staffs were very attentive to my request made. Overall all staffs especially the FB service staffs. Security very helpful.

Morning breakfast buffet, layout no to my expectation. Cut fruits display, presentation was not to hitel standard expectation and there were no verities (more choices). Fruit juices should be chill and more fresh, should not filled with ice cubes, it make the juice diluted which make juice less tasteless. Teh tarik, too sweet. Juice glasses were insufficient to accommodate all the guesses. Too slow in replanissing the cutlery especially the cups, bowls, side plates, even the foods. Ushering of guess to the table, the lady usher was good, but the male slightly plum did not do a good job. Unpleasant thing, there were knocking and banging late night, after late 10pm till middle of the night. This happen, on my 1st and 3rd and 4th night of my 5 days stay.

It was a fantastic experience! Staffs were wonderful, hotel facilities were good, clean and comfortable. Concierge staffs were very helpful and friendly. Room attendance were very good and helpful. Water dispenser makes life easier for drinking. The few staffs at the business centre, such as Kayum, Achik, Alwiyah, etc are all fantastic! Always serving with such charming smile, ever so helpful.

Lovely service, and the stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean, and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The biggest plus for us was that the hotel is directly connected to Mid Valley Southkey, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. I really appreciated that the team accommodated my special request for a birthday surprise. They prepared a small cake and balloons, which was a thoughtful gesture. The staff also proactively informed us about the breakfast timings and recommended the less crowded periods, which helped us avoid the rush. The room was comfortable and overall we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel appeared to be undergoing some renovation or maintenance works, as there were blue protective mats laid along parts of the corridor. It would have been appreciated if guests had been informed about this before arrival. The gym was decent but quite small. There were only two treadmills, so guests may have to wait during busier periods. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. While there was a reasonable variety, the quality and taste were rather average and we've definitely had better at other hotels.

I had stayed in your good hotel many times. I love for the fact that the shopping mall is connected to the hotel that it makes it easy for shopping & accommodation. I love the hotel staff and even the door-man. Very good attitude.

1. The window is kind of dirty from outside. I can understand probably it's a year maintaince/cleaning by 3rd party. But still it does not look good for a 5-star hotel. 2. The hotel towels kind of off-colour (after many many wash). Hope to see new batch white white color the next time I check in. Thank you.

My first stay and Dislike : Long mirror reflect the toilet.. its can be seem from the bed. (Bad Feng Shui) Mirror should be place opposite wall. Such Big Room should have bigger TV. Modern rooms usually feature built-in USB ports. Shock! 🙄 Still using the Old method when requesting for house cleaning. Water Filter tap is outside room at both end corners. NO door stopper, so In and Out to get water, we have to bring out Door card. Beary inconvenient especially on Hot days..4-5 times just to fill up the juice jug! Lastly, the Hotel Systems, wasn't flexibility enough..Cannot check in early even it's on weekday..(only after 3pm) and can't request for late check out.. latest by 1230 noon. They will CUT OFF the TV channel Exactly at 1230noon. 😕😓.. Don't You Get The HINT !! Price wasn't cheap for 4stars Hotel. With this High price, definitely can get better Hotel. If you ask me to return again..Oh No..Better think twice!

The location is right above the Mid Valley Southkey. While it is not that accessible to travel elsewhere, the mall is generally big enough. The room is also spacious. Water dispensers along the corridor.

The TV was smaller than expected. The bed frame started to peel off a little. There are ants/bugs right outside the door, near the doorbell. The hotel breakfast selection was okay, and the quality was not very good.

The hotel has great location hence the pricing... However, the room has got Musty smell throughout our stay! It got very obvious as we stayed longer and imagined at night.... Despite the city skyline, the windows are dirty. For this price, I can get a much nicer room in other parts of JB. Buffet breakfast got to get up early to avoid the queue which is not an ideal vacation lols. Staff Service is professional and friendly, including everyone working there!

The check in process not acceptable. Understand that check in is 3pm and the room only available after 3pm. Upon arrival at hotel and while checking in at reception, I have specifically asked the front desk to book in my room somewhere in the middle not at the end. After I received my room key, I received end room and the surrounding there is a renovation work going on. At the end i went down to reception to request to change the room. Staff must be alert and seems that my request didn't enter into system. Time also wasted again to wait for a new room. If rule stated check in is 3pm, room should be made available for your guests, and I can see everyone waited at your lobby with frustration.

We stayed in the Premier King room and it was very comfortable, with a sitting area, dining area and small kitchenette. Also came with lounge access and the view from the lounge was great. The hotel also prepared birthday balloons and a small cake for the occasion, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Staff were accommodating and kind, location was convenient and hotel room was well-maintained and comfy. Thank you for assisting with arranging for a late check-out and for safekeeping my earrings that I accidentally left behind in the hotel room for my retrieval.

The chair in the room could be bigger or there could have been 2 chairs since there were 2 occupants. Pillows were a tad too soft though bed was overall comfy. The quality of the breakfast buffet could be better too for the price point of the accommodation.

It’s run down. Carpet has a musky smell that lingered in the room. Towels were definitely not white anymore, dingy. Wallpaper in the room were dusty and had many air pockets. Bed headboard is upholstered with fabric and it’s so dusty, had visible dust collected at the corners. Bedding appeared discoloured sans white. Toilet seats stained. Dirty glass shower screens. Curtains were dusty as well.

Had an amazing stay here! Check-in to the hotel was really professional and smooth, and the staff were really warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fairly good with a large spread. Star of the show was the omelettes - fast, fresh and really delicious (to note: it closes around 20–30 mins before breakfast ends). Our room was clean, comfortable, and refreshing, with housekeeping being highly efficient whenever requested. The location inside a mall is incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. We also felt exceptionally safe during our stay; the security team is highly vigilant. For instance, when a confused gentleman almost cut our check-in line, a guard immediately and politely intervened to maintain order. Lastly, we were very appreciative of the fast lifts! We never waited more than 10 seconds. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Thank you!
