Thanks to the front office team , I started my day with amazing smile from all the reception team , they were very helpful with us thanks to the concierge deso aslo with the luggages the quality pf the service total amazimg

The electricity was cut off for more than 16 hours, and we were promised an additional discount, but we only received a spa discount!!

It was extremely, unbelievably crowded. There were long queues at breakfast, and dinner was also extremely crowded. This was absolutely not suitable for a place like Rixos and did not meet the standard we expected.

Honestly, a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the money. The reception was extremely crowded and chaotic, with luggage everywhere and a complete lack of organization. The room was spacious but very basic and outdated, more like a 2-star hotel than a luxury resort. The bathroom was extremely small and had a bad smell from time to time, probably due to drainage or ventilation issues. The kitchen area had absolutely no plates, cutlery, knives, or basic equipment. The biggest issue was the lack of staff. I requested a pillow at 6:30 AM and waited more than 30 minutes, having to call several times. At breakfast around 7 AM, there was only one waiter serving and cleaning tables for the entire restaurant. Even at check-out, nobody came to collect our luggage. The food was also very basic and tasteless. Overall, the hotel feels old, understaffed, and poorly managed. For the price and the Rixos name, I expected a much higher level of service and luxury. I definitely would not stay here again.

The crowding only..in the breakfast if u enter before 9 am it was quit and u get a seat easily but if u late it was very crowded but ther was a late restaurant there so quit and the beach also if u go early u will have a seat easily on the first row

Beach at 7:30 am all shezlongs are reserved with towels with no guests (just reserved!) For 4 to 5 rows, so i couldnt see the sea although we came early!, very slow room service - the bathroom is a disaster design and operational (water leaks, towels rack at low level under the shower, no shower cabinet, showers are defected, sink mixer was not working, toilets was stinky) - food prices are extremely high versus the quality (for example pizzas from the Italian restaurant there are way way below fast food pizzas and very empty with 1100 to 1500 EGP, Tea is for 400 EGP - elevators door closes with no sufficient delay time so if 2 or 3 person wants to enter they will be hit with the door - golf carts drivers have problems like toktoks in streets (driving fast so u have to run to not hit by them).

There was a major power cut in the whole area where the hotel was at which made it impossible to continue our stay and we asked for a refund for the last day remaining in the vacation. There was absolutely no commination from the hotel nor updates regarding any steps being taken. It really felt like they were just trying to get you to forget about the whole thing and forget about the money you paid. It was very unprofessional and showed a lot of disorganisation. Very very disappointing experience.

It was too crowded and overpacked. Could not get a seat at the beach or pool by 930am. Could not get a seat at buffet for dinner. It was a zoo.

The staff are very polite, and there are multiple activities day and night for children. Turquoise Restaurant is amazing with a perfect variety of food and brilliant staff. The view from the panoramic room is breathtaking.

For a hotel on the north coast, your main aim is to spend time on the beach. At this hotel, guests are allowed to reserve sunbeds from before 7 AM using silly things like towels, T-shirts, or hats. If you went at 9 AM, you lost your chance to sit even in the 4th row from the beach. And if you went later, it's easy to hear there's no place for you. The staff will tell you, "We have been informed never to remove any items used for reservation," despite the hotel mentioning in its policy no reservation for more than one hour. You will see an empty beach with empty sunbeds, but you are not allowed and asked to sit way in the back or to come before 6:30 AM on your holiday. You can see a person reserving for seven or even reserving at both the pool and beach at the same time while he/she is actually in their room. Staff are afraid of handling such situations, making them unable to enforce hotel rules. For four days, each time I struggled to find a place for me, my wife, and two kids, even when I arrived at 8:45 (I had to eat my breakfast in my swimming suit). I spoke at checkout with guest relations (Nada Samy), who was very kind, polite, and understanding. She mentioned she would raise it with management and that I would hear from them, but I have not heard anything. The hotel in general is amazing, but if you build such a perfect place for enjoyment and fail to run it correctly, you lose its main purpose.

We had the bed and breakfast package so we had to pay for all the drinks by the beach which were super expensive (Small water bottle for 250 EGP). We decided to try the open Buffet for dinner which was 2.7K EGP per person, the variety was nice but the taste wasn't good at all and we had to pay for a can of Soda as it is not include in that pricy buffet.

Very disappointing experience and definitely not what we expected from a hotel of this level. The hotel was extremely overcrowded, making it almost impossible to find any available space by the beach or around the swimming pools, even on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, the staff were not helpful, cooperative, or welcoming when we needed assistance. The ladies’ bathroom on the 4th floor was repeatedly wet, dirty, and without soap, which was very disappointing. The restaurant was also extremely crowded, and finding a table was difficult. On our last day, I tried to pay for lunch for my two-year-old daughter, but the restaurant reception staff refused, saying that the food might not be enough and that priority should be given to the newly arriving groups. This was completely unacceptable and left a very bad impression. The biggest issue, however, was the power outage. The hotel had no backup generators, and we stayed for more than 24 hours without electricity or air conditioning. This ultimately forced us to check out earlier than planned. What made the situation worse was the lack of proper management or support in calming guests, with people shouting and children becoming frightened. On top of that, the clinic was unreachable when medical assistance was needed, and there was not even a pharmacy within the hotel. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We would definitely not return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall stay was good, however, certain things happened that were very disappointing 1- on the day of checkout on Friday, went for breakfast and got back to the room around 9 AM, and there was no power, the AC was off, called the reception to get someone to help me, and they said someone will be up shortly, however, until 11 AM there was no one that showed up. At this point I went to the beach and my mom had to stay to pack, imagine packing in that heat for two hours and no one even bothered to go up to the room. After I got back around 11 from the beach, I was like we're leaving right now. Also, at this point, the housekeeping was outside and he came to the room to see if he can help me with the power, as nobody else bothered to help me. That was very disappointing very unprofessional, and very unexpected. 2-I had booked this suite. With two bedroom for four people, all they provided me was 2 cups, and when I asked for more, they never brought anything, I asked for plates, and they sent me one plate, only one for a suite for four people. So I called back and asked for more, and nobody bothered. Again, very disappointing, very unprofessional for somewhere expected to have a luxurious experience.

A serious health and safety failure that management chose to ignore!!! I have travelled extensively and stayed in luxury hotels all over the world. I also own a home with a swimming pool, so I understand how critical proper non-slip surfaces are in wet areas. Never have I encountered anything as dangerous as the poolside tiles at Rixos Alamein. This review is not about service or minor inconveniences. It is about serious safety failures. My biggest concern by far is the poolside tiles. Throughout my stay, I repeatedly saw guests not just slipping but falling heavily on hard marble surfaces, around the main pool, the infinity pool and the indoor pool. I personally helped two elderly guests on separate occasions, one man who fell backwards, struck his head, his glasses thrown several feet. My own children also fell and my husband slipped several times simply while walking. These were not people running recklessly. As a parent, I found myself holding my children's hands every time we walked near the pools because I did not trust the surface. Instead of relaxing, I was watching people fall. In my opinion, these tiles are completely unfit for a wet pool environment and should be removed and replaced as soon as possible. The second incident was shocking on a hygiene level. I requested towels from the lifeguard. One, that appeared freshly laundered, contained large amounts of human excrement inside the folded towel. I shouted in shock, dropped it, and called the lifeguard over. He looked horrified and replaced it, but a visibly contaminated towel should never reach a guest in a five-star resort. Third, my seven-year-old daughter was invited onto the stage during the children's entertainment. The costumed entertainer carrying her tripped over a wire on stage. His vision restricted by the costume head, fell from the stage and landed on top of her, leaving her in tears and humiliated in front of a large audience.

The Rixos is an excellent hotel with world class facilities, great food, very friendly staff and beautiful rooms with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The experience of staying at this hotel is faultless; the only thing I would have liked to do would be to stay for longer.

It was the worst experience in Rixos I ever had, you feel you are in public/government owned facility rather than hotel. You are not allowed to park in the parking slots available in front of each tower as they are reserved for Public Officials as informed by security guards, the ala cart Food prices are very expensive, the taste is very bad and the portion is very little. I paid 60USD for share plate which can be consumed by one person only, coke will cost you 8USD!!!, tea will Cost you 7USD, small bottle of water 5USD. Waiting for the shuttle bus can take you forever to move from your tower to the beach or restaurant, they use limited number of golf cars for 6 towers, luggage and guests transportation, the cars are also used to transport staff. The front row of Beach is reserved from 7AM!!!, the behaviour of guest on the beach is not acceptable, they take towels in the room so they use it to reserve beach slots and then they return home to sleep and the slots are just left without consumption. The beach is very crowded, there are more than 6 rows on the beach, the hotel capability is exceeded or the beach size isn't roperly measured. There is no proper beach view because of the genius idea of building L Shape Marina!!! You can't see the sea horizon. The Turkish restaurant is the worst one, the Italian is also very bad. Staff Attitude makes you feel working for them, while taking one golf car to the beach they but some guuests luggage to,transfer from one tower to another, and you,are expected to,wait them to finish the uploading and.offloading of luggage. Amazing room and view. Breakfast is incredible... all foods you can imagine are provided. Staff is very professional and welcoming. Pricey but worth it. Front desk staff is great and operates very efficiently.

Abbiamo riservato la camerata panoramica, pagando 1500€ in più , ma abbiamo ricevuto una con la vista laterale, c’era sempre un grande problema per i lettini sulla spiaggia e in piscina, devi svegliarti alle 6-7 per trovare un posto. E stato anche molto difficile al ristorante, sempre era pieno, lo staff non aiuta a trovare un posto giusto o aggiusta il flusso, devi litigare per mangiare, e puoi invece aspettare altri 20-30 min per le bevande, così si crea anche la folla per tutto. Per questo abbiamo saltato spesso i pasti, perché solo il pensiero di stare come se fosse Caritas e aspettare mi sembra assurdo, dopo aver pagato quasi 1000€ al giorno a coppia Puoi 3 giorni abbiamo avuto mal di pancia assurdo, tutto il casinò in cucina non permette un’igiene adeguata

The hotel is insanely crowded, it is always challenging to find a spot on the beach even if we go at 7 am, in the restaurant at any point of time, it seemed impossible to relax and enjoy the moment We checked in our room and the shower room smelled horrible only to find out that someone peed inside and this is why it smelled But overall again the staffs are extremely helpful and trying to be available genuinely

I asked about my reservation at Marin in salt resturant sea food and there was a girl named Huda who had the list of guests who had dinner reservations. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She gave me a table that I did not like, so I told her that I would wait. She replied loudly and rudely, “God knows when a table will become available,” and then simply walked away and left me. Unfortunately, apart from the poor welcome and lack of proper hospitality, this kind of behavior from one staff member reflects very poorly on the restaurant and does not represent the excellent standard of service we are used to receiving from Rixos employees. My friend also complained about the same employee.

Honestly, very little the housekeeping are well mannered unlike their front desk staff. The hotel itself looks nice but the experience was very disappointing.

The service was extremely poor(countless occasions ) staff were rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. Cleanliness was also below the standard expected at this price point. When my cousin arrived 2 days late due to flight delays, reception insisted we had only booked for 2 people and tried to charge extra fees, despite us having paid for 3 guests. The room is not suitable for 3 people, the hotel kept saying they “upgraded us on arrival” as a way to avoid addressing the issue, and we heard them use this exact line with other guests too. When we said the third bed was uncomfortable, the receptionist simply offered to upgrade us for an extra $160 per night- even though we had already paid in full for 3 people. It felt like they prioritised profit over customer comfort at every turn.

The guy which have a personality with us was very helpful.

The beach & variety in breakfast

The bathroom shower drains very poorly, and the water floods the floor every time I take a shower, so i had to call the housekeeper to dry it every time. Also, The room service food was also extremely poor — very disappointing in both quality and taste. Overall, I expected a much better experience.

أكتر حاجة محتاجة تتحسن بجد هي مستوى المهنية عند بعض موظفي خدمة المطاعم. حصل قدامي موقف غير مقبول تمامًا، وأحد الموظفين تلفّظ بلفظ خارج وسبّ الدين أثناء ما كان بيقدم لي الأكل، وده بصراحة شيء ما ينفعش يحصل في فندق بمستوى واسم ريكسوس. الموضوع مش مجرد إن الخدمة تكون سريعة أو بطيئة، لكن أسلوب الموظفين وطريقة الكلام والتعامل جزء أساسي جدًا من تجربة الضيف. أتمنى إدارة الفندق تهتم أكتر بالتدريب والمتابعة، لأن موقف زي ده ممكن يسيب انطباع سيئ جدًا رغم إن باقي التجربة كانت كويسة.

Beautiful beach and good location. Mr. Nabil was very helpful when we had to change rooms because of the sewage smell, and the Guest Relations lady was also kind and genuinely tried to help us.

Unfortunately, the service did not match what we expected from a hotel marketed as “Premium.” Check-in took around 1.5 hours, with no welcome drink or proper greeting. Our room was also not properly vacuumed when we arrived. We requested a crib for our 9-month-old baby, but it came without a mattress, only a duvet and bedsheet. When I asked for a proper mattress, I was told they did not have one, which was very concerning from a baby-safety perspective. Our bathroom in room 2809 developed a strong sewage smell that kept returning even after we reported it, and we eventually had to change rooms. Beach and pool service also felt understaffed. We often had to find our own seats and towels. The hotel is very large, but the facilities and staffing do not seem sufficient for its capacity. At checkout, we were told that service is affected during high season. I don’t think that is a reasonable excuse. If guests are charged full premium prices during high season, they should receive the full premium level of service, not a reduced experience because the hotel is busy. Food and drinks were also extremely expensive: two mango juices cost 900 EGP, and after paying around 2,700 EGP per person for the dinner buffet, only water was included. We also requested two breakfast boxes for family members who had to leave early because of an emergency. We were initially told they would cost extra. Guest Relations later kindly made them complimentary, but we ultimately received only one box. Hotel staff were encouraging us to leave a positive review on Booking.com, despite the fact that we had experienced and raised several problems during our stay. This is the first hotel I have stayed at where staff specifically pushed us for a positive review. Rather than asking guests for positive reviews, I believe the focus should be on providing the level of service that naturally earns them.

The location and the hotel facilities Some of the staff members are incredibly friendly (Thanks to Mr. Roberto, Moheb (from the Guest Relations), Amr (the Bistro Par pool bartender), the House Keeping guys (Ahmed in the 3 nights spent in room 146 and Mohamed in the tower 3 8th floor for the 2 nights booked by Booking), and the Pizza chef in Stanley Bistro Par.

There was some VIP guests that receiving special treatment that let me felt like, even with upgrading my booking to All Inclusive, that I’m still a 2nd degree guest. (I sent full details on WhatsApp to Hoda Almahdy in the Guest Relations). There was a long gap between breakfast time and snacks time (breakfast ends @ 10:30 and snacks/launch starts @ 01:00pm) so if you woke up late and missed the breakfast you should wait for 2:30hours for the lunch. The snack bar should close this gap.

من افضل المنتجعات اللي نزلت فيها المنتجع جميل ومتكامل وكبير فيه كل الأشياء والمرافق اللي تحتاجها وشاطئ المنتجع من اجمل الشواطئ في العلمين يعني فعليا ماتحتاج تخرج من المكان وجميع الموظفين متعاونين وخدومين جدا بالذات محب مكين من علاقات الضيوف كان بيتابع معايا الاقامة يوميا ويتطمن لو احتجت شي وساعدني في الحجوزات وترتيب جدول سفري الصراحة المنتجع كان افضل خيار سويته للسفرة واكثر شي عجبني في الساحل

Beautiful beach and good location. Mr. Nabil was very helpful when we had to change rooms because of the sewage smell, and the Guest Relations lady was also kind and genuinely tried to help us.

Unfortunately, the service did not match what we expected from a hotel marketed as “Premium.” Check-in took around 1.5 hours, with no welcome drink or proper greeting. Our room was also not properly vacuumed when we arrived. We requested a crib for our 9-month-old baby, but it came without a mattress, only a duvet and bedsheet. When I asked for a proper mattress, I was told they did not have one, which was very concerning from a baby-safety perspective. Our bathroom in room 2809 developed a strong sewage smell that kept returning even after we reported it, and we eventually had to change rooms. Beach and pool service also felt understaffed. We often had to find our own seats and towels. The hotel is very large, but the facilities and staffing do not seem sufficient for its capacity. At checkout, we were told that service is affected during high season. I don’t think that is a reasonable excuse. If guests are charged full premium prices during high season, they should receive the full premium level of service, not a reduced experience because the hotel is busy. Food and drinks were also extremely expensive: two mango juices cost 900 EGP, and after paying around 2,700 EGP per person for the dinner buffet, only water was included. We also requested two breakfast boxes for family members who had to leave early because of an emergency. We were initially told they would cost extra. Guest Relations later kindly made them complimentary, but we ultimately received only one box. Hotel staff were encouraging us to leave a positive review on Booking.com, despite the fact that we had experienced and raised several problems during our stay. This is the first hotel I have stayed at where staff specifically pushed us for a positive review. Rather than asking guests for positive reviews, I believe the focus should be on providing the level of service that naturally earns them.

Had a wonderful stay at Rixos Alamein! ✨ From the beautiful beachfront and stunning views to the excellent service and attention to detail, everything was truly enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, the food was great, and the whole resort had such a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere.

Lot of kids everywhere , no pool fro adults . I every where I go I find kids who were noisy and could not rest as this was my goal for my vacation. Sea was clean for a 2 days , after it was not . I ate one time a burger from pool bar and was so bad and expensive.

Le confort dans la chambre et sa belle vue l’emplacement proche de la mer le spectacle du soir et surtout la variété incroyable des plats servis.

Victime de son succès l’hotel était complet pendant notre séjour c’était la foule partout pour les repas pour les transats à la plage le personnel n’était pas suffisant du coup pas aux petits soins comme censé être un état pareils. À la plage on a été gêné par les mouches suite aux poubelles mal nettoyés.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and a special thanks to Moheb Makin for his excellent service. From the moment we arrived, he was very helpful and made our check-in process quick and smooth. He also sent us the hotel’s activities schedule and made sure we had all the information we needed. Moheb was professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout our stay. His kindness and helpful attitude really made a difference and made us feel welcomed. The sea is beautiful, but the view is obstructed by concrete buildings, which makes absolutely no sense.

I don’t think the staff is properly trained, which is reflected in the service everywhere — at the reception, in the restaurant, at the pool, at the bar and on the beach. It’s simply a complete disaster. Warning: The taxi prices booked through the hotel are a complete rip-off and ridiculously overpriced.

Bed was comfy, nice view, you do have some workers that try to go above and beyond.

The quality of the food at turquoise could be higher. It was not up to standard. Unfortunately during my stay I got food poisoning that lasted 4 days. For the price point, I expect much better. Sometimes when ordering something, you don’t receive it. The workers can be forgetful. After feeling ill, I tried to call the on site clinic and reception that is apparently 24 hours at night around 11pm with no answer or call back. I then had to call again in the morning. The room was not clean with the shower glass being unclean upon arrival and both mirrors being dusty. Please note if you book the delux room, you do not get a balcony! Also note, there is no full length mirror which is really problematic. Above all of this, the workers there do stare if you’re not covered up which is really disappointing.
