Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Tout! Déjà la bâtisse rénové mais en ayant gardé l’âme du lieu. L’accueil , les collaborateurs de le réceptions sont très avenants et de bons conseils avec le sourire. Le repas en DP pour le prix RAS parfait. Mention spéciale au Crumble pomme maison. Le service eu restaurant et au bar au top, cool mais professionnel attentif aux moindres besoins et envie, très bon thé froid maison! La propreté de la chambre ainsi que la propreté de tous les espaces communs ( c’est très grand mais tout est propre bravo! ) Je n’ai pas testé les bains donc je ne me prononcerais pas. Je reviendrais sans hésiter je me suis tout de suite sentie chez moi comme chez eux et c’est ça le vrai métier d’hôtelier.

La propreté au déjeuner. Les tables n'étaient pas nettoyées - l'espace pancakes était sale et c'est nous qui avons dû nettoyer. Pour le prix c'est assez lamentable. Dans la chambre, rien pour suspendre les affaires.

Rien ! Que se soit du bâtiment ou du personnel , mon appréciation ne peut être que positive ! Quand c’est bien , ne rien changer n’est pas de l’immobilisme. L’excellence n’est pas dans la surenchère permanente qui gangrène notre époque. Se souvenir que « les efforts du mieux » deviennent parfois l’ennemi du bien… Garder la constance de l’âme dynamique que vous faites régner dans l’établissement me semble être déjà un objectif ambitieux .

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025Tolles altes neu gestaltetes Gebäude mit Charme und Tradition. Das Schwimmbad ist super. Frühstück war im Preis enthalten und ausreichend.
Als Alleinreisende landete ich gefühlt in der "Abstellkammer". Die Fotos im Vorfeld zeigen die schönen Zimmer. Mein Zimmer war ca. 9qm klein; Bett, Tisch, Stuhl, Waschbecken und ein "Flohmarkt" Kleiderständer. Das Fenster zum Hang hatte Milchglas-Scheiben, sodass man noch nicht einmal zum Wald schauen kann. Meine Kritik wurde angehört und ich wurde mit einem freien Eintritt in das Schwimmbad (irgendwann) vertröstet. Für den Hund zahlte ich 20 SFr extra.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Für eine Jugendherberge, ein tolles Frühstück, für ein Hotel ein einfaches Frühstück: Tisch muss selber gedeckt und abgeräumt werden, Brot und Konfitüre ist da, z.B. aber kein Honig oder Schokoaufstrich. Das Schwimmbad und der Spabereich sind toll.

Breakfast was mediocre. I was not happy to be charged for parking when it was available for free. (I was contacted in advance of my stay and told that parking would be CHF25 for two nights. I turned up and it was available for free in front of the hotel for hotel guests.)

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Étape magnifique avant l’ascension vers Chandolin, le Grand Hôtel du Cervin est un endroit plein de charme et d’authenticité. Il a été rénové avec goût et simplicité, sans tomber dans les automatismes du luxe et de ses excès. Personnel formidable, plein de bonne humeur et complètement aligné avec les qualités de l’établissement.
On pourrait apprécier des matelas un peu plus fermes et des petites viennoiseries au petit déjeuner apporteraient un peu de gourmandise pour bien commencer la journée.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Die Lage war sehr gut. Die Rezeption war freundlich, die Bedienung im Lokal auch. Es gibt geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Allerdings waren die Stühle wackelig.
Der Wellnessbereich hwar unruhig und zu klein, sodass im Schwimmbad vor lauter spielenden Kindern kaum geschwommen werden konnte. Saunagänge gab es nur gegen Aufpreis. Die Dauna-Anlage war zu klein. Das Frühstück hätte vielfältiger sein können, Es stand nur einen Tag Honig zur Verfügung, das Angebot war Wurst-lastig. Es gab weder Gurke noch Tomate. Die Teetassen waren oft nicht vorhanden, und wenn, dann waren sie für die Wasserportion aus dem Automaten zu klein, sodass das Wasser überlief. Mehr Präsenz des Frühstückspersonals wäre besser. Oft fehlte ein Ansprechpartner.
