La receptionist non parla inglese. Le camere sono sprovviste di frigo e col caldo che c'era non è il massimo. Il wi fi non è attivo. La colazione era misera, neanche un dolce fatto in casa ma tutto pre confezionato. La struttura mi ha addebbitato ingiustamente e senza avvisarmi i soldi per la rottura della tavoletta del water che in realtà era gia rotto al mio arrivo. Meglio controllare tutto prima e avvertire subito

The rooms are nicely decorated and the entire building has a historical feel. We explored the Monsaraz and stopped by the Art show next door and had dinner at Xarez. There is a sandy beach at the lake not far from Monsaraz and the Observatory. You can see both from the top of Monsaraz.

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur de l’établissement. Pas assez de viennoiseries pour tout le monde. Les œufs brouillés froids…globalement c’est le point faible de cet établissement . Il vaut mieux aller prendre son petit déjeuner à l’extérieur

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026La struttura è in una posizione perfetta al centro del piccolo paese di Monsaraz, la stanza era molto accogliente e funzionale.
La comunicazione è stata in generale non facile (anche perché lo staff presente non parlava inglese). Non ci sono state date informazioni prima dell’arrivo sulla possibilità di entrare nel paese in auto per lo scarico dei bagagli, prima di parcheggiare nel parcheggio fuori dalle mura. Inoltre, la mattina dopo non c’era acqua per un problema comunale ma non c’è stata data nessuna soluzione alternativa, fortunatamente il problema si è risolto in poco tempo. La colazione poco curata, nessun prodotto tipico della zona. Peccato, il posto avrebbe ottime potenzialità!

O que para mim falhou, embora possa ser um problema temporário, foi a temperatura da agua dos banhos que estava abaixo dos 30ºC. O pequeno almoço tinha pouco de alentejano, faltaram as torradas com pão alentejano.

Non siamo rimasti perché appena entrati nella stanza abbiamo scoperto che non c'erano finestre apribili, differentemente da quanto esposto nelle foto della camera su booking, e infatti c'era puzzo di muffa e di chiuso. La ragazza diceva di parlare solo portoghese, ma quando sono arrivati anche altri clienti, abbiamo scoperto che parlava anche spagnolo, quando la abbiamo sentita parlare male di noi con altri clienti. Dalle altre recensioni non dubito che abbiano altre belle stanze, ma sono così avari da averne messa una senza finestra, andando contro la legge portoghese.

A typical old Portuguese residence with restricted internal natural light (a blessing in summer) and a tightish internal staircase. Great Aircon, good shower (in a cramped bathroom/toilet space) and comfortable beds. The decor is Portuguese Colonial and works well. Breakfast is good, being continental+. Friendly staff. A bit of a walk from official parking outside the walls (just wish everyone would park there instead of driving into the village and ruining the street views).

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Monsaraz is a gorgeous village and Casa Pinto is situated right at the heart. We loved the design of the room, the views from the terrace, and the quality breakfast.
We would have loved a kettle and cups on the room. As breakfast doesn’t start until 9am and there are no cafes open early in the village, being able to make our own coffee in the room would have been great. Not a big deal - we still very much enjoyed our stay.

La jeune femme qui nous a accueillis, la propriétaire je présume, nous préparé un petit déjeuner : une partie que nous avons pu monter dans notre chambre tout de suite et une autre partie (yaourts, lait, pain) gardée dans un réfrigérateur où nous avions accès de bonne heure le lendemain. C'était parfait et très gentil de sa part.

Traumhaftes Zimmer mit wunderbarem Bad. Die Dachterrasse ist märchenhaft! Schöner Service: Es gibt einen Kühlschrank, im Treppenhaus, in dem die Gäste ihre Getränke kühlen können. Gutes Frühstück, tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Reviewed May 24, 2026Eu e minha família achamos a localização muito boa. Chuveiro bom no meu quarto, mas no outro casal o chuveiro era do tipo "ducha suspensa" e o acesso ao quarto era por escada. Cama confortável, limpeza ok, atendente muito gentil e educada. Café da manhã deixa muito a desejar: pouca quantidade e variedade, o espaço reservado ao café não comporta o numero de hóspedes. Dessa forma, dois quesitos relevantes para nós, não foram atendidos.

部屋にドライヤーがなかった。最初に確認しなかった私も悪いのですが、夜はスタッフいないし電話出来るスマホも持っていなかったから、濡れた髪でとても寒い思いをしました。2度と泊まりたくありません。

Reviewed May 20, 2026Right on the castle property. Restaurants and history. Roof top sitting to watch the sunset. The host was very nice. Modest but good breakfast. The room felt like I was sleeping in a castle room. Very quiet. I loved the decor. Excellent area for you if you are into history

Reviewed May 15, 2026La posizione è centrale e dunque comoda per visitare l'abitato e raggiungere locali, e non manca una romantica terrazza per contemplare tramonti e stellate (nelle vicinanze c'è perfino un osservatorio visitabile). Gentilissimo il personale :-) e buona la colazione. Pulizia impeccabile in una stanza arredata con gusto e a tema. La nostra si ispirava alla Cina! A tiro di automobile non manca una gradevole spiaggia lacustre.
Non lo consiglierei a persone con problemi di mobilità per via delle scale strette.

Não gostei do cheiro a esgoto constante no quarto e por causa disso quem ficou no quarto não dormiu. Não gostei de ter dormido num sofá, que afinal não era sofá cama, não consegui dormir com o incómodo do não colchão. Não gostei do banho porque a água variava entre frio e a escaldar. A televisão não funcionava. Em Abril a suite era muito quente e abafada mas o oar condicionado fazia tanto barulho que tivemos de o desligar. Pedi recibo não passaram e não enviaram como prometeram.

Stuffy rooms with poor lighting. There was an issue with the electricity supply when we were returning after dinner, so we had to do everything in the dark before going to sleep. When we woke up, it was already fixed, so I'm not sure how long it took.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026La struttura si trova di fronte alla chiesa del paese, arriva tantissima luce ed è colorata e accogliente, non c’è nulla di particolarmente speciale nell’arredamento, ma è tutto molto in stile orientaleggiante e colorato. Comunque ambiente super pulito e profumato. Personale super disponibile e gentile, la colazione mi ha stupito, non sono solita scegliere posti con colazione inclusa ma nel paese non vi sono negozi di alimentari dunque conviene effettivamente avere colazione inclusa. Questa composta di frutta yogurt formaggi freschi marmellate prosciutto uova pane plumcake, brioches, succo e caffè.. insomma colazione fresca, abbondante e completa in quanto prodotti semplici ma buoni e si può stare fuori sul terrazzino a consumarla. Noi abbiamo avuto problemi ad arrivare in tempo per il check-in e sono stati sempre presenti e disponibili ad aiutarci, rispondono sempre al telefono. La nostra stanza si chiama “Boa” ed ha i colori viola, vi è un letto matrimoniale in uno spazio piccolino, poi un bagno di media grandezza e una bella doccia. Finestra che guarda sulla valle ai piedi di Monsaraz, uccellini che cantano accanto alla finestra.
Cambierei solo i mobili e renderei tutto un pochino minimal ma direi rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, tutto perfetto davvero
