Un très bel hôtel aux portes du désert. Le personnel est très serviable. Le restaurant est excellent, pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable.

Les activités sont proposées par l'hôtel à un prix exagéré (j'ai l'impression d'avoir acheté les chameaux, les quads !). L'aller-retour avec l'aéroport a été arrangé par l'hôtel, en recourant à un taxi local pour 350 euros aller-retour : en dix trajets, la voiture est payée... Sentiment donc d'avoir été roulé.

Tout. En arrivant, vous sentirez une odeur très apaisante. Le complexe était magnifique de la chambre jusqu’à l’extérieur, tout est décoré avec soin. Le personnel est d’une attention familiale, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Un grand merci à Youssef, Mustafa et toute l’équipe, pour ce séjour inoubliable proche des dunes du Sahara. N’hésitez pas à organiser vos activités via l’hôtel.

Onze kamer was stijlvol ingericht, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat dit hotel echt bijzonder maakt, is de persoonlijke aandacht. Het team is ontzettend gastvrij en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Je voelt je hier niet zomaar een gast, maar echt welkom. Het ontbijt en diner waren heerlijk en met zorg bereid. En hoe bijzonder is het om te zwemmen in een zwembad met uitzicht op de zandduinen van de Sahara? De eigenaar vertelde ons dat hij gasten een gevoel van thuis wil geven. Dat is hem absoluut gelukt. Een unieke plek waar luxe, rust en gastvrijheid perfect samenkomen. Vijf sterren zijn eigenlijk niet genoeg

We had an amazing stay at Sunrise Palace and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We were a large group with guests of all ages, and Yousef, the owner, together with his brother Mohamed, made everything absolutely seamless. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. What made this place especially memorable was Yousef himself. He personally accompanied us in the evening to our special event in the middle of the desert and shared his life story with us — such an inspiring person. Hearing about his journey added a very special charm and authenticity to the whole experience. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very cozy, with a lovely pool and fantastic food. The service was excellent, and the waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive. We genuinely felt at home here. This is such a unique place, made even better by all the activities perfectly organized by Yousef and his family. We highly recommend the ATV buggy ride, camel rides at both sunrise and sunset, and the 4x4 desert tour — all unforgettable experiences. If you are looking for a special desert stay with authentic hospitality, wonderful people, and perfectly organized experiences, Sunrise Palace is absolutely the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Huge rooms with A/C, great property to relax at and great attentive staff. We booked a night with them and they coordinated tours and a desert camp stay for us. Extremely attentive to make sure we had the best experience in their land.

Our stay at Sunrise Palace Merzouga felt like a complete oasis after a difficult experience in the Sahara. The team were incredibly accommodating — they welcomed us early after we left our previous camp and allowed us to use the facilities straight away, including the outdoor pool and lounge area, which was exactly what we needed. They also kindly arranged lunch for us, despite it not being a standard offering at that time, which we really appreciated given the lack of nearby options. The property itself is very well done, with a relaxing atmosphere and great amenities. If you are considering spending more than one night in Merzouga, we would recommend splitting your stay and including at least one night here. They can also organise camel rides directly from the hotel, which is a great option. For those wanting a desert experience without fully committing to a tent, their connected tented property is a good alternative.

The property is on the more expensive side for what is offered. While the quality is high, we’re not sure it fully justifies the price compared to other stays we experienced in Morocco If you are self-driving, access can be challenging. The roads leading to the property are in poor condition, and you would need an SUV or 4x4 to reach it comfortably

Yousef and his small team were most welcoming and hospitable during our stay. You can feel the pride and passion they have for their home country and business at hello. Our transfer from the airport was most comfortable and we appreciated the attentiveness we received all around for all our requests and needs. Rooms were generous size and clean. The hot water for showers could be better however it might be comparable to what you will find in the area due to its remote location. Make sure you pack location as it was not offered. Meals were very generous portions. Although the hotel wasn't super occupied during our stay, their team was relaxed and accommodating on both pre-planned and last-minute excursions we asked about. Sunset camel ride is a must as they take you to an excellent spot to marvel at the scale of the sand dunes. We unfortunately were unable to maximize all the amenities during our stay due to cooler, windy weather conditions. We had hoped to relax in the pool and enjoy the fire pit at night. Note you will have to drive out to a darker location to fully experience the starry sky. The staff took great care of our family, we are grateful for all the assistance they provided for drop-offs and pickups. All the properties around the area require special vehicles so regular transfer services must remain at a standard pickup point, close to the main road. Providing a GPS coordinate location for that spot would be most helpful.

Die lange Fahrt von Marrakesch dorthin hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Lage ist einmalig, ebenso die Architektur des Hotels mit dem Pool und den Terrassen inmitten der Sahara-Sanddünen. Hinzu kommt der super freundliche Service von Moha und seinem Team einschließlich des sehr guten Kochs. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Sunrise Palace is a very special place. After two days in a camp we spent a night in this beautiful place. I will mention the food first as it was outstanding, lunch-dinner-and breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and warm. The hotel is beautifuly decorated, and the gardens are very serene. The room we had was spacious, clean and very pleasant.

I don’t have to think twice—this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I travel a lot. The staff and food were exceptional, the rooms big, stylish and comfortable and having the place almost to ourselves made the experience even more special. Everything was perfect, and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The pool and the surrounding is so beautiful! We only had a small car and we still had no problem getting there , just know that at some point the regular road ends and you ll have to go really slow to get to the Hotel since its a sandy gravel road. My advice is to get there while its still bright!

We had an incredible stay at Sunrise Palace. Everything was incredible. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the pool speaks for itself and those views - wow! Our room and bed were huge, clean & comfortable. The staff were wonderful, they attended to all our needs. The food was delicious & plentiful. Breakfast included bread, jams, honey, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, an egg tagine. Dinner started with a refreshing cucumber drink, bread & salad, then we had a vegetable tagine (tomatoes & courgette in melted cheese) and a beef tagine with prunes. The hotel sells red & white wine - just remember to ask for them to chill it if you want some. You can organise trips / activities with the staff if you wish. We would highly recommend staying here - we wish we could have stayed longer.

The palace is a beautiful hotel with all the amenities you need. Our room for three people was very large and decorated nicely with good air-conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and surrounding area are spectacular and a great place to relax with the big dunes in the background. We had dinner next to the pool and the food was some of the best we have had in Morocco. Each dish was nicely prepared and presented with flair. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Solsengerne var ubehagelig og madrassene til solsengerne var avflakket og tynn. Hadde kanskje forventet høyere stander til en pris av 300 dollar natten. Beliggenheten var noen vanskelig å finne frem til.

This place is amazing. I couldn't believe how quiet it was, great for us but such an injustice for the hotel and staff because it is one of the most amazing places I have stayed. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The pool was a good size and a lovely place to sit and relax with a view of the dunes. Food was incredible and massive portions. Definitely recommend doing the quad bike trip, so much fun. On our last night they did songs around the firepit - we didn't go as my wife was tired and wanted to get to bed for our early start the next day but I watched from the window and feel we really missed out!

The road to access the hotel isn't much of a road so took it very easy in our rental car which wasn't 4x4. However, it was still fine and only added to the feeling of remoteness in the desert which is exactly what adds to this place being so great.

It was a little on the expensive side for the quality and location. We paid 400 euro for one night. It's definitely not the 9.7 that it gets in Booking.com, maybe 7. It's furnishings are simple and the place is clean, it's just not super high-end. The shower was the low point as it often turns cold or completely stops while taking a shower. It's further from the big dunes as compared to the other hotels and there is lots of garbage in and around the property.

The property looks amazing and is at a top location in the desert. It’s quiet, has beautiful decoration and the smell is great. Hassan and Mouha did everything to make our stay great. We were warmly welcomed and they cooked traditional Moroccan food for us (a lot of food!). They also arranged a sunset quad tour and sunrise excursion with camels. It was all seamless! It’s a beautiful property in the Dunes. The area is becoming commercialized with so many clamping options and larger fairly ugly hotels. This place is set away from everything. The decor and furnishings are tasteful and the pool area couldn’t be more inviting. Star gazing on the roof at night takes your breath away. Service was so thoughtful. It was a bit chilly at night and Moha made sure he heated the dining room. He could make a great fire. Worthwhile making the Sandy drive to the property. Moha helped us by meeting us at the main road. Moha has a real talent for making guests feel welcome and cared for.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Sunrise Palace in Merzouga! The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its fantastic facilities and comfortable rooms. After long days of exploring Marrakesh, returning to such a cozy and inviting space was a real treat. The food was exceptional and healthy; each meal was a delicious journey into Moroccan cuisine. The local wine selection also pleasantly surprised us, which worked beautifully with the dishes. However, what truly made this trip unforgettable was the warm welcome and exceptional guidance provided by Moha. His deep knowledge and passion for the region transformed our visit into a true discovery of the Sahara. He introduced us to the rich culture of the nomads, the stunning beauty of the oasis, and the welcoming local populations, like the remarkable "Groupe Zaid." Thanks to Moha and the Sunrise Palace team, we didn’t just visit the Sahara, we experienced it on a much deeper level. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable adventure in the desert! 🌟

Very beautiful, spacious and clean hotel with attentive staff and welcoming manager who made sure we have everything we need. We arrived very late but were able to get 3 meal dinner and organise a day trip the next morning. Room was big and well decorated, it was warm in December with air conditioning, there was enough hot water, beds were big, complimentary water in the room and the best thing of course - desert at your feet. Thank you very much!

The design of building and maintaining were absolutely amazing and gorgeous! Super friendly and kind staff and I am so happy to see them with my 1 year old daughter as they were amazingly supportive and loving to baby. I also liked camel ride and car tour as it was very fun and trustworthy guide😊 The location is isolated in a good way and very quiet and chill. Excellent property and location, amazing staff (Yusuf, Mohammed and Yasir). The cook (Mubharak) did an amazing job catering to all our dietary restrictions and every single meal was fabulous.

This hotel is absolute dreamy place and I wouldn’t go anywhere else in this area. You will experience luxury, comfort and beautiful views of the desert. We spent 3 nights in this hotel and felt taken care of by the entire team. You can walk directly into the desert from the back door next to the pool, which is perfect for sunset views but there’s also a rooftop! Rooms are specious, beautifully decorated and the entire place is spotless clean. The hotel provides breakfast and we also had dinner every night and one lunch. All the food was absolutely delicious and we both agreed that it’s probably the best we’ve had during our stay in Morocco. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking about visiting this part of the country.

The hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They even picked us up from the main road to bring us directly to the hotel, which was a wonderful touch. We experienced true Berber hospitality from the staff. Moha made us feel at home and went all out even though we were the only guests. He was available when needed but also gave us space. Youssef, the owner, was lovely and took the time to welcome us by telling us the history of the hotel over tea. It felt very personal and authentic and one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. The location was magical right on the edge of the dunes. We did not want to leave!

Yousef and his team made this an absolute dream stay for us. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, clean and so beautiful. The pool views are unparalleled! But the highlight was the hospitality - the entire team ensured we felt absolutely at home and made arrangements for activities (camel rides, visiting the nomads, etc) so thoughtfully. It was a wonderful experience getting to learn more about Yoursef's personal journey to becoming a hotelier. 10/10 recommend if you're in Morocco!

Small topic but only input would be to implement a system to keep track of what is being discussed beforehand. We scheduled some activities before the stay and were asked to remind the hotel again before the stay. I think these reminders should be made by the hotel not the guest.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were helpful and the views were gorgeous. Our room was a good size! The food was good - home stye cooking, however you don't pick what you eat it's a set menu. But they were very helpful in arranging activities too!

The whole experience from checkin to check out was really smooth and pleasant. The food was super delicious and prepared and served with lot of love. Rooms and Interior are very well chosen and combined. I love how they blend the colors and interior with the fabrics and materials. All in all a very good price for value. If your are looking for a special place for your trip you should visit Sunrise Palace. The best hotel by far of our Morocco trip: everything was perfect but above all every single person working at Sunrise Palace make us feel home: they love the place and tried to make our stay special and unique and definitely it was. We will come back for sure Pep!!! Spectacular meals, the cooker ( sorry I don't remember her name) prepare gluten free bread and traditional breakfast for my husband. Absolutely delightful and personal attention to detail from the owners, 2 wonderful brothers straight out of a Berber tribe in the desert! First day we mentioned soup had a little too much cumin and from then on all meals were served low on spices. Food was plentiful delicious and always different meals. Sand dunes were a step out of the pool side door which was great. On our departure day at 2:00 AM Ebrahim packed some egg sandwiches, yoghurt, and orange juice as breakfast for the road and he also guided us out all the way to the main road. Definitely loved it and highly recommend it.

The best Hotel in Merzouga. The owner, Ibrahim was the best host ever. It was like to be at home! We loved the kitchen, the room, the pool and the gate that gives you access directly to the desert’s dunes. Strongly recommended!

It is a new family-style hotel. Great room and nice view outside the window. They organize activities like camel ride and ATV. The food menu is fixed, which you need to researve at least two hours ahead, but taste vey good. All of us enjoyed the stay very much.

Food lovers truely will remember your meals and will be a highlight of your stay. - the rooms were very comfortable, large, soft bed, and Airconditioning allowed us to visit comfortably during the summer. - Organising tours was as easy as making a request and it was done - The price per night was cheap when considering the level of facilities and services from the staff - The hotel design was very luxurious with Moroccan incense burning + water feature in the entrance hallway adds an additional luxurious touch - A true 5 star experience in a remote part of the world - Surrounded by the stunning dunes with a direct view to the large dune when your in the pool. Made us feel like we were in the sand dunes on our own while still being in comfort - unlike staying in a camp - Again the staff were incredible and allowed us to have a very memorable comfortable stay during the summer month of July
