I had an incredible stay at Soleil camp. I loved how luxurious the tents felt and the layout of the camp - all tents were facing the dunes, unlike the surrounding camps where they were facing each other. Special thanks to Hamid, the host, made sure I had relaxing and enjoyable stay. I am vegan and I was delighted I could eat most delicious food I had in whole Morocco. I definitely recommend you do the quads in the desert! I had unforgettable experience.

El lugar tiene un encanto único, nada mas llegar nos ofrecieron un té con pastas y fueron muy acogedores. Fueron muy amables y se adaptaron a nuestro horario para recogernos y dejarnos en el campamento. Nos sentimos como en casa y al final de la noche nos ofrecieron un espectáculo delante del fuego. Sin duda volveremos a repetir la experiencia.

Best night in Morocco! Crew is amazing and nice! Very helpful. Tent is clean and tidy, bed is really nice! There is hot water in the shower, and toilet is clean. View is perfect. Food was delicious, dinner and breakfast. We came with our car and left it on their parking spot and continued with them. Everything was easily communicated, really nice people. We had really good time and I would highly recommend it. Activities can be arranged.

Alles! Dit verblijf was echt perfect verzorgd! De medewerkers waren zeer gastvrij en enthousiast, vooral ook naar onze kinderen. Het eten was goed, de tent zeer comfortabel en de accommodatie was echt een plaatje qua ligging. Direct uitzicht op de enorme zandduinen en er hangt een heel prettige sfeer.

Dit was echt geweldig!!! Voor alle mensen/ Nederlanders die twijfelen voor welk kamp ze moeten gaan: kies voor Soleil Camp! Ik beloof je dat je er geen spijt van zult krijgen. Wij hebben hier 2 nachten geslapen en alles was tot in de puntjes top geregeld. Wij waren wat eerder dan de reguliere inchecktijd maar dit was geen probleem. Werden direct opgehaald en konden alvast genieten van het kamp en het prachtige uitzicht, dat nog mooier in het echt is. Alle kampen liggen vanwege regelgeving buiten de duinen, maar ik denk dat dit wel een van de mooiste kampen is. Zowel de tenten die super schoon en mooi ingericht zijn, als het uitzicht dat er prachtig uitziet. De medewerkers zijn super aardig en de eigenaar Ayoub staat altijd voor je klaar. Wij hebben de quad tour (€40,- pp) en de kameel tocht (€20,- pp) via het verblijf geboekt en was perfect geregeld.

Niets. Iedereen die 1 nacht had geboekt, gaf aan dat ze spijt hadden dat ze niet langer hadden geboekt. Zou ten alle tijden 2 nachten aanraden om de woestijn echt te ervaren!!

Très jolie structure décorée avec goût. Il y a peu de tente ce qui rend le lieu plus intime et exclusif. Le staff est très accueillant.

Pas de menu au choix pour le dîner. L’animation du soir est peu original mais reste sympathique.

Personal muy amable. Nos recogieron en 4x4 y nos llevaron al desierto a montar en camello y ver el atardecer. La tienda y el campamento muy bonitos. La comida estaba muy buena, cocinan con agua embotellada. Todo muy limpio, la ducha un 10.

AMAZING! It was unforgettable from start to finish. Time flew by, stay for 2 days! Beautiful and stylish campsite. Friendly staff. Very friendly staff! Everything is clean. In the evening, a delicious dinner was better than in some restaurants. Then there was a bonfire, music, and singing. You can see the stars well in the evening. Thank you for this time! We will definitely be back.

Wir würden dieses Camp mit 20/10 bewerten! Frühzeitig haben wir vom Team alle wichtigen Informationen erhalten und Preise wurden transparent kommuniziert. Wir wurden an der Tankstelle vor der Wüste wie vereinbart abgeholt und ein Stück gefahren worden. Dann sind wir mit Kamelen (20Euro pro Person, optional) in circa 40Minuten zum Camp gebracht. Im Camp wurden wir mit Nüssen, Gebäck und Minztee willkommen geheißen. Das Camp ist traumhaft und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt im Außenbereich diverse Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir hatten die eine Nacht das gesamte Camp für uns allein. Die Zelte sind sehr komfortabel ausgestattet mit Regendusche, fließendem warmen Wasser, eigenem WC und Strom/WLAN. Die Matratzen sind sehr bequem und mit vier Decken selbst im Februar sehr warm! Das Personal ist sehr herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein leckeres mehrgängiges Abendessen (13Euro pro Person) und das leckerste und vielfältigste Frühstück auf unserer Marokkoreise. Ein großes Lob an die Küche! Abends wurde ein Feuer für uns angemacht und das Personal hat gesungen und getrommelt. Wir hatten aber auch genügend Privatsphäre, um die Nacht und den Morgen in der Wüste zu genießen. Gegen 11Uhr wurden wir mit dem 4x4 durch die Wüste zurück zu unserem Auto gefahren. Das Camp können wir absolut empfehlen!

Das Camp ist absolut top und die Ruhe in der Wüste wird minimal von dem nahegelegenen größeren Camp beeinträchtigt.

Саид - украшение этого Кэмпа! Молодой и очень клиенториентированный парень, хороши говорит по-английски, ответит на все вопросы! Удобные кровати, постельное, подушки - все было супер. Даже горячий душ днем зимой можно принять! Вкуснейшие ужины и завтраки!

The decoration of the room is very nice. The room is clean too. Camel ride is long enough approximately 15-25min. Totally recommending it!

There is no hot water at night. The room is warm until later night around 12 midnight. There is no air conditioning.

Bol to náš prvý pobyt v púšti a personál sa postaral aby to bol nezabudnuteľný zážitok ! Všetko bolo skvelé a veľmi odporúčam tento kemp. Stany boli nové a veľmi pekne zariadené. Výhľad je priamo na veľké duny. Večera bola chutná a program pri ohňi po večeri taktiež skvelý.

Le camp est intimiste et très bien organisé. Lorsque vous venez ici vous êtes vraiment dépaysé. Le camp et les chambres sont décorées avec goût. Le personnel est très gentil.

La struttura è meravigliosa, immersa in un paradiso ed è composta dalle tende e altre aree per godersi il soggiorno, ad esempio un cerchio di sedute intorno al fuoco dove la sera il personale suona il tamburo e canta. Il personale è disponibilissimo e davvero gentile, contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza magica

Ein wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes Camp. Die Zelte sind toll ausgestattet und das Personal gibt sich sehr viel Mühe einem alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die Quad-Tour.

Eig. war alles perfekt aber eine Kleinigkeit hat uns gestört. Wir wurden mit Kamelen zum Camp gebracht und der Kamelführer wollte uns danach noch Souvenirs andrehen was dann nervig wurde. Aber das Camp kann hierfür wahrscheinlich nichts.

This is THE best camp! We had a fantastic experience with Soleil Camp. Even though it was just us 2 we had an awesome time with the team, a delicious dinner and breakfast and great atmosphere and music. Thanks guys!

Make sure to let them know if you want to do the camel ride (20€ extra p.p.) in advance so they can either prepare it or cancel it for you.

Everything was comfortable and well organised. No up-selling or pressure to take camel rides, etc. The food was excellent, particularly considering the challenges of cooking in the desert.

The camp is on the edge of Erg Chebbi rather than actually in it but that's common for this range of accommodation.

Very nice camp, feels more intimate, good View on the big dunes (most camps are outside), you can walk in in 1.5hours/way. Transparent prices, very attentive staff.

Beautiful place with a stunning view! Just a short walk to the dunes. The food was excellent, and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The warm shower and extra blanket made it comfortable, even in the middle of February. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

The camel ride is not included in the room which could be confusing. Having that in mind when you book. The camel guide will sell some souvenirs, have also that in mind.

Our stay at Soleil Camp was magical from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, and the transfer to the camp was seamless. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff, a cozy campfire, and refreshing mint tea before being shown to our room. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, with a massive, super-comfortable bed. We especially loved having our own private porch with chairs, perfect for relaxing and taking in the breathtaking desert views. The food was delicious and incredibly generous. The courgette tagine was a highlight, so much so that we asked for the recipe to recreate it at home! For activities, we opted for the quad bike experience through the Sahara, which was thrilling and so worth it. In the late afternoon, we chose to stay at the camp and watch the sunset over the desert, which was stunning. The evening brought another highlight: the staff lit a bonfire and performed local songs with drums, even teaching us how to play. It was such a fun and immersive experience! Overall, our stay at Soleil Camp was an unforgettable experience, and we’re so glad we chose it for our Sahara adventure. Highly recommend!

If you found this camp and it is available, then you are lucky. In my opinion, the best camp of all that is near the dunes. Everything in the rooms is done with taste, at the same time is very authentic. The camp itself is located on a small hill, so there is a very beautiful view of the dunes. The territory is also very well maintained, in the evening with the lighting everything looks incredibly cozy and colorful. The dinner was really delicious - the best tagine we tried in Morocco. All the activities: camel ride, sandboarding, quad biking, were organized for us very easily. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for the warm welcome.

Great experience staying in a tent on the edge of the desert. The silence and the view at certain times of the day contribute to this. Friendly and helpful host. Reasonable prices for dinner, car desert tour and camel ride.

The bookingcom information about the location is misleading. The GPS location turned out to be more than 15 km away from the pick-up point. The host had sent a message via bookingcom about the pick-up location, but we missed it. Fortunately we were able to reach him by phone, otherwise we would probably have been left missing in the desert.

The camp is so great and cute! With a lot of attention to details. The tents are luxurios and super clean. Comfortable bed. Dinner for 12€ each person. No problem for vegeterians, just tell them beforehand. Good dinner and breakfast. At arrival free tee, water and biscuits. Drive with truck to and back from the camp included in the price. The prices of additional services are communicated transparently (like camel ride). Super friendly staff.

WIFI was not working very well in our tent which can not be complained about in the dessert.

Welcome to Africa 🏜️🐪 Everything was PERFECT!! The guys were so friendly and helpfull! They literally did everything to make it the best time for the visitors. Ayoub and Mohammed thank you so much. We learned a lot about the desert and the culture. Also, the food was so amazing! You could taste the love in it. There is nothing that could make it better for us. The camel ride was the start of our adventure and we stopped to watch the sunset 😍. We stayed two nights and in the day in between we spend the day in the dessert on a quad and later at the pool of the hotel nearby. This is a must do when you’re in Morocco!

The best and most relaxing stay on the while trip! The camel ride was soo beautiful, very talkative and nice camel driver, will take you to best spots to take pictures. The stuff in the camp is sooo nice, they speak many languages, can talk politics with you, or joke with you, they will do everything for you and your comfort. You will get evening entertainment - guys will sing songs and play drumms around campfire, they will talk to you and tell jokes. Really nice experience! Also - food was one of the best I had in Morocco - the breakfast was superb. We also ordered dinner and it was just awesome. The tents were beautiful, clean, hot showers, clean toilet, comfortable beds. If I would vome back to Morocco it would be for this!

This is not my first time in the desert but this experience ist the best so far !! The tents were clean spacious! I loved the decoration minimalist style. We were a couple we enjoyed our time , we had our own space , it’s not like other camps where everyone shared the space The dinner was good , the tajine with chicken and lemon was tasty !! We had great with the rest of guest during the gnaoua show we sang and danced togethter Thank you Ayoub , Moha and Mohammed for the great time , we will be back for sure

This was the absolute highlight of our Morocco trip. The tents and furniture are beautifully designed and perfectly equipped, and the bed was the most comfortable we've experienced. The staff was incredible, attending to all our needs and preparing amazing dishes.

Wonderful place in the desert, the tents are new, modern and very well maintained. The staff is absolutely amazing, we had a few special requests especially regarding transportation and they made everything possible for us. The food was amazing. We had a tagine and wow, one of the best we’ve had in Morocco. Even though we had the place for ourselves, and it was raining outside (can you believe it, pouring rain in the desert !), they made a traditional berber music show for us inside the restaurant tent which was awesome.

This is a beautiful camp in the Sahara Desert! It is super clean, well maintained, and a treat to stay at for a stop in the Desert. The hosts are super responsive, and the team (Ayub, Muhammad, and the team) went above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable. The dinners were delicious, and we absolutely loved the bonfire with the live music and drums in the evenings. There is running hot water and access to wifi, alongside very warm hospitality. We loved our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone!

Amazing place! Beautiful tent, very clean room with comfortable bed, great dinner and breakfast. The guys played typical music with drums after dinner for us. I will never forget them for their incredible kindness and this place for its incredible view.

Everything except the food (see disclaimer). As long as you're not expecting Michelin star dining, i think you'd be extremely satisfied with everything else that Soleil has to offer. We were attended to by Ayoub and he was a great host. Responsive, helpful, informative, with a good command of English. He gave clear instructions for us to park our rental car at Hotel Cafe du Sud (free and safe parking), picked us and our luggage up in his 4x4, and dropped us at the start point of our camel ride (sunset camel ride to the campsite @ 15 euros/pax). Camel ride itself was quite an experience and i would recommend it if you've never been on one before (also the camels didn't smell bad since it was winter/cold). Towards the end of the camel ride the nomad camel guide will sit you down and peddle his wares to earn some additional income.. we just saw it as an appropriate opportunity to offer him some money as tips for his good service. No issues =) Soleil camp is a 2-month old (at point of writing this review, Feb 2023) campsite. It is considered a more 'private' campsite as it only houses 4 accommodation tents for guests, so i would recommend this if you're not a fan of big rowdy tourist crowds. However, as with most of the other desert camps, you're still within sight (and earshot) of neighbouring camps/companies, so you can forget about being 'alone in the desert'. Location of this campsite is a distance away from the big Erg Chebbi dunes.. so if your intention is to climb the dune.. you might want to choose an alternate site or arrange a quadbike ride. Because it's new, the interior of the accommodation tents are clean and in tiptop condition. Very spacious and more than enough for a traveling couple. No room heating or air conditioning (the place runs mainly on solar power with a gas generator as backup), but you do get hot water (heated by fire wood) and a steady supply of water.

Food (disclaimer). While the quality of the dinner wasn't exactly gourmet (huge portion of tasteless pasta topped with some tuna and tomato paste, BBQ chicken that was a tad dry), we were served very generous portions. Understandable that heating and premium ingredients are costly in a 'desert camp' (would have liked more servings of hot coffee and tea), so i think the hotel did well with their resources, given the price point (102 euros/night, 10euros/pax for dinner).
