PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort

​We had a wonderful 4D3N stay in an ocean view room at PARKROYAL Langkawi. The entire resort was top-notch, highly family-oriented, and extremely child-friendly. Breakfast had a fantastic variety, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. ​What stood out most was the staff's genuine passion. You can tell everyone truly enjoys and takes pride in their work. Their positive energy was contagious and created such an uplifting atmosphere for all the guests. We will definitely recommend it!

A little pricey

The child friendliness. From the staff to the facilities everything could not be faulted. Even the room service staff always left a little surprise animal for my daughter and she loved it! I requested for an early check in because our arrival coincided with my daughter's nap time and they accommodated. The room was fitted with a bottle sterilizer (thank you Intan)

The Indian buffet options. Capati was too hard, idli was undercooked. Other options were good as is specifically their pastry and fresh juices

It was a perfect resort for our family and we truly enjoyed our 4 nights stay. We were especially impressed with all the staff. They were all genuinely kind and friendly. We felt welcomed and we appreciated the great hospitality. The view from the balcony was also amazing as it was facing the beach.

The Ocean view room with a private pool is amazing for a romantic getaway. The breakfast buffet has a lot of varieties.

The dinner buffet was very disappointing even though they have a discount but compared to the breakfast spread, the variety is very limited. The BBQ section was really disappointing, the lobster was very limited. They had 4 chefs at the bbq section but none were attentive enough to check if the lobster needed to be topped up. There isn't a cold dish to live up to the name of seafood spread. RM198 before discount is still quite expensive for such a limited amount of food served.

An absolutely wonderful resort and one of the best stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the hospitality was outstanding throughout our stay. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, which made the whole experience even more special. Everything was handled with great care and attention. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and high-quality stay. We would happily come back again!

De kamer/badkamer is verouderd. Kamer wordt niet goed onderhouden. Het ontbijtzaal is druk en het lijkt meer op een cafetaria. Totaal niet 5-sterren waardig.

Family friendly and for those looking for night life they may not like it entirely but we love it for family with kids

The location was great with direct beach access. The staff at concierge were very helpful and courteous, always willing to help and advise you on your plans. The room service staff/cleaners did a fantastic job, couldn't fault anything. The breakfast had so much variety and again the staff were great.

The room we were given was city view room. I wouldn't call it city view as the outside looked onto some barren wasteland. On arrival I asked if they could upgrade me to sea view room as it was also my Diamond Anniversary. I was advised by reception that the hotel was at full capacity (now that's a lie-hotel was not at full capacity). Everywhere was so quiet. From restaurant in the morning for breakfast, kids pool, adults pool, activity room and even the beach. Every time I asked any staff around the hotel, they said it was low occupancy. At night I could hear dogs barking. I mean, if the rooms were spare/empty, why not give them. Just wasn't comfortable at night. For that reason, I may not recommend to friends and family to book ParkRoyal Langkawi

The staff was not very helpful, no life guard by the pool or the beach, breakfast open buffet is chaotic and not organized in a good way to enjoy, housekeeping were not that attentive to details

Fantastic stay with my family. Service was great, facilities were good. Location was also really good along Pantai Cenang. I appreciated the all day kids menu, swimming pool round floats for kids, a covered playground and the kids club facilities.

Food in general (from breakfast to the all day dining) is a little on the too salty and too sweet for my taste buds.

The place is amazing for a relaxing holiday! The city itself do not offer so much things to do, but the hotel was very good! The breakfast is delicious with a lot of option!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. From the warm welcome and the friendliness of the staff to the quick response to every request, the service was exceptional. The location is fantastic, and every detail made our stay truly enjoyable. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

The only area that I believe could be improved is the breakfast. Although the buffet is large and offers a wide variety of options, it is heavily focused on Asian cuisine. The selection catering to Arab and other international guests is relatively limited. Adding more international and Middle Eastern breakfast options would make the experience even better.

The hotel was next to the beach I could hear the waves at night. The view from the room is exceptional. A very good hotel if you want a view of the sea and to relax.

Firstly the team from start to end was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable of there job. Well dressed. We where treated like royalty. They organised the pick up and drop off very professionally. I must thank the dedicated team for everything that includes all in the restaurant, all made my family feel at home.there is more and only good to say. Will mention it on my next trip. Struttura eccellente e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, un vero 5 stelle che mantiene tutte le promesse. La posizione è semplicemente strategica: a differenza di altri alberghi più isolati, si trova adiacente al centro cittadino, rendendo facilissimo esplorare i dintorni a piedi in piena autonomia, oppure noleggiare un motorino proprio di fronte all'ingresso per girare l'isola in libertà. Il servizio è stato ottimo in ogni momento e il personale si è dimostrato estremamente gentile e disponibile, regalandoci persino un graditissimo upgrade della camera. L'hotel è fantastico, elegante e dotato di ogni comfort immaginabile. Fiore all'occhiello la colazione, semplicemente pazzesca, e i ristoranti interni di altissimo livello (la qualità è tale che sembra davvero di stare in Italia!). Torneremo sicuramente in occasione del nostro prossimo viaggio.

Room was clean. Buffet had plenty of options and food was kept topped up. We made plenty of use of the facilities. The staff were fantastic and attentive throughout our stay from front of desk to dining, bar, housekeeping and greeters. Great value for money.

Beach was often closed for swimming. But was for safety and beyond the staff’s control.

Прекрасные завтраки с большим выбором всего, хотя меню алякарт в основном ресторане для обеда и ужина не сильно разнообразное. Есть большой тренажерный зал, отлично оснащен, спа. Отель находится на оживленном пляже, вокруг много водных активностей, бары и рестораны. В шаговой доступности находится молл. Отличный сервис в отеле, от заселения до уборки номеров, убирались 2 раза в день. Также отель находится на западном побережье острова и ежедневно можно наблюдать красивые закаты.

На пляже напротив отеля в воде есть большие камни, которые видно только во время отлива. На 2ой день пребывания я сломал палец на ноге, когда выходил из воды и пнул один камень. Весь отпуск был испорчен после этого.

La chambre était fabuleuse. La vue depuis la piscine face à la mer était à couper le souffle. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à l’ensemble des membres de l’hôtel d’avoir rendu notre voyage aussi beau. Nous avons également eu la chance d’avoir des petites attentions afin de célébrer les occasions de notre séjour.

Le prix du repas par personne pour le déjeuner et dîner était excessivement élevé.

فندق رائع ومناسب للجميع. يقع على الشاطيء ومريح ومناسب للاسترخاء. الافطار منوع والفندق يقع على شارع رئيسي فيه العديد من المطاعم الحلال والمحلات وايضا ليس بعيدا عن المطار. وسعره مرتفع عن بقية الفنادق.

ارتفاع صوت الموسيقى المزعجة الى ساعات متأخرة وهذا غير مناسب للهدوء والاسترخاء.

فطورهم ممتاز متنوع جدا لديهم خيارات للاطفال اكلهم ممتاز غرفهم واسعه ونظيفة

Très bel hôtel 5 étoiles, idéalement situé à quelques minutes à pied de Pantai Cenang. On peut facilement rejoindre de nombreux restaurants, commerces, spas et une laverie sans avoir besoin de prendre un Grab. Les chambres sont magnifiques, très bien entretenues, les piscines sont superbes et le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel : énorme choix, produits et jus de fruits frais, il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts. Le personnel est également au top. Il y a eu un petit malentendu sur l’anniversaire de notre fille, mais ils ont largement rattrapé le coup avec une très belle surprise dans la chambre le bon jour. C’est le genre d’attention qu’on apprécie dans un hôtel de cette catégorie. Le seul vrai bémol concerne les prix des restaurants, du spa et de la blanchisserie, que nous avons trouvés vraiment trop élevés. Je comprends que les tarifs soient plus chers dans un hôtel 5 étoiles, mais là, l’écart avec les établissements situés à deux minutes à pied est tellement important que cela nous a finalement poussés à aller ailleurs, ce qui est dommage. C’est peut-être quelque chose à revoir car l’écart est vraiment beaucoup trop important pour Langkawi. Si l’écart était plus « raisonnable » nous aurions sans aucun doute consommer sur place . Enfin, le chemin à l’extérieur de l’hôtel mériterait d’être mieux aménagé, car il donne une première impression un peu moins soignée que le reste de l’établissement. Malgré ces quelques points, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrions avec plaisir.

The facility is clean and good for families with children. The swimming pool, kids' club, and play area are all wonderful amenities.

The breakfast lacks variety, particularly when it comes to Middle Eastern cuisine. Adding more international dining options also would be a great improvement, especially since the surrounding area offers limited high-quality dining.

The entertainment (singer) was too loud, not background music and for people who wanted to go to bed early it was too loud. Our bed was too hard.

I think the toilet got no bidet.Would appreciate if bidets were installed.I am a muslim traveller,so bidet at the toilet is much appreciated during my next visit.I have been regularly visiting Langkawi every 2 years.Its like balik kampong fof me & family.

Very disappointing stay. The most expensive resort I stayed at in Langkawi, but unfortunately the worst value for money. The rooms are small, the facilities are limited, and the breakfast was the weakest I had on the island, with very few suitable options for Arab guests. The service was disappointing as well. I asked to cancel my last night because I wasn’t enjoying my stay, but my request was refused without any real effort to improve my experience. When I shared my feedback about the breakfast, the chef focused on defending the food instead of addressing my concerns. I would not recommend this resort. For the same price, there are much better options in Langkawi.

Very disappointing stay. The staff, especially the receptionist, was rude and unhelpful. We arrived after a 7-hour journey and politely asked for early check-in if possible, but were met with rude responses and sarcastic smiles. The room smelled like sewage, and the loud fans outside the balcony made it impossible to sleep. The beach was poor compared to other beaches in Langkawi. Sun umbrellas were kept closed even when there was no wind, so we got badly sunburned. Definitely not the 5-star service we expected.

One of the things I loved most about this trip was getting to know the people of Malaysia. They are warm, open, and welcoming in a way that felt instantly familiar — the culture here has so much in common with my own back home in Uzbekistan. I noticed that, just like Uzbeks, Malaysians place their hand on their heart as a gesture of sincerity and respect. It's a small thing, but it says so much about the warmth of this culture, and I felt it everywhere I went. The staff at Parkroyal Langkawi embody all of this beautifully. Every single team member we interacted with was genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming — honestly, this hotel feels like a true showcase of everything wonderful about modern Malaysia. As for the hotel itself, I have very few complaints — practically everything impressed us. The cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property were outstanding, and the food was excellent from start to finish. We stayed in a Premier Ocean View room, and it was beautiful — spacious, comfortable, with a stunning view to wake up to every morning. I've traveled to more than half the countries in the world at this point, and I can honestly say this hotel ranks among the very best I've stayed in. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to expand the gaming area — my younger son practically lived there during our stay! He had such a wonderful time that he made new friends from Egypt, Australia, and China, all bonding over video games. It was heartwarming to see how a hotel amenity turned into genuine international friendship. Thank you to the entire Parkroyal Langkawi team for such a wonderful stay. With warmest wishes from Uzbekistan — we hope to be back soon!

We both loved every aspect of this truly wonderful hotel. We were told it was good but did not expect it to be as good as it was. Breakfast was wonderful. Our huge room with ocean view was absolutely amazing. The staff were all tremendous, polite and friendly. We have stopped in many many hotels all over the world and we probably enjoyed our stay with you the most. The beach barbecue on Saturday night was a fabulous experience and great value for money. Endless lobster, crab and fish and a table next to the sea. Live band too. Just book it!

Geweldig locatie. Vriendelijk personeel. We waren voor ons huwelijks reis en kregen een upgreat naar een suite met woonkamer. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt

Het was zeker heel schoon bij binnenkomst. Echter de dagen daarna werd minder goed schoon gemaakt. Bv de glazen zaten nog met lipstift afdrukken.

Cleanliness of the hotel, friendly and warm staff! Location was just a quick 15 mins drive from the airport. Also, the distance to the beach was awesome. (Beach located just in front of park royal) No crowd on the beach and it felt like a private beach. Overall, a great vacation!
