Very friendly staff. Superior service, including personalized advice on places to visit and arranging transportation. Room was excellent and the courtyard was fabulous. Location of the hotel is also excellent. Every attraction are within walking distance.

Everything was excellent! The staff is very helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is great as is the location.

The property is definitely a treasure. It is a beautiful stone structure of which some parts are hundreds of years old. You will feel like you’re staying in a castle. The hotel staff are extremely accommodating and will quickly communicate with you on WhatsApp in English. Staying in the old city requires parking a short walk from the hotel but it is definitely worth doing. There are really awesome restaurants within a short walk from the hotel.

The hotel is so pretty. Beautiful building tucked away not too far from the centre but you'd never think it. Beautiful courtyard, amazing staff, fantastic breakfast - too much food actually!!! I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. Hope i can go again!

Vanaf onze aankomst tot het einde van ons verblijf waren wij ontzettend tevreden. Alles was goed geregeld en de service was echt geweldig. Het hotel heeft een prachtige, authentieke sfeer die perfect past bij Şanlıurfa. De kamers zijn zeer schoon en netjes en de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden zijn allemaal op loopafstand. Onze gastheer Barış verdient absoluut een speciale vermelding. Hij is ontzettend behulpzaam en heeft ons vooraf al duidelijke uitleg gegeven over Şanlıurfa, wat er allemaal te zien is en welke plekken we zeker moesten bezoeken. Hierdoor konden we onze tijd in de stad optimaal benutten. Ook het ontbijt is absoluut een aanrader. Het was heerlijk, uitgebreid en met veel zorg bereid. Het hotel heeft daarnaast goede afspraken met verschillende zaken in de stad. Ze kunnen je bijvoorbeeld helpen met het regelen van een Sıra Gecesi of je adviseren over goede restaurants. Dat vonden wij een groot pluspunt. Voor ons was parkeren een belangrijk punt. Het hotel heeft op slechts ongeveer 2 minuten lopen een parkeerplaats, wat ideaal is. Vanaf de parkeerplaats loop je door de sfeervolle, smalle straatjes richting het hotel. De omgeving voelde voor ons volledig veilig, ook ’s avonds en ’s nachts. De binnenplaats van het hotel is bovendien prachtig en heeft vooral ’s avonds een geweldige sfeer. De verlichting, de authentieke stenen muren en de bomen maken het echt bijzonder. Kortom: absoluut een aanrader wanneer je Şanlıurfa bezoekt. Een prachtig en sfeervol boetiekhotel met schone kamers, een heerlijk ontbijt, een geweldige ligging en vooral een zeer behulpzame gastheer. Wij hebben ons hier echt welkom gevoeld en zouden hier zeker opnieuw verblijven!

Be careful if you walk in the streets at night. Someone grabbed my hand and asked for money at around 9 pm near the hotel.

Sehr zentral und zugleich ruhig

We really like our room we had a choice of two and they were both very nice. Baris was an excellent host providing us a lot of information on WhatsApp before we arrived at the property and very good details about how to get to the parking lot. He also provided us with information on a beautiful Turkish restaurant which we enjoyed very much. The property is very pretty with gorgeous courtyards. The breakfast included also had lots of variety. The property was in a great position for exploring the sights. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay.

This hotel is located down the side streets of the old city. Not far off the main streets, so it was still easy to find. Incredibly historically atmospheric and beautiful, but with modern amenities (appreciated the A/C). Very friendly staff and comfortable room and bed. My bathroom even had a Turkish bath basin in the huge shower. I was only able to have breakfast one day as I had to leave early the next day, but it was homemade and delicious. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Şanlıurfa’daki konaklamamız bizim için çok güzel bir deneyim oldu. Tatilimizi güzel hatıralarla tamamladık ve hem Şanlıurfa’yı hem de oteli her zaman keyifle hatırlayacağız. Barış Bey’in ilgisi, misafirperverliği ve bilgilendirmeleri son derece değerliydi. Otelin temizliği, konumu ve ambiyansı gerçekten çok başarılıydı; bu açıdan 10 üzerinden 10’u fazlasıyla hak ediyor.

Lokalizacja doskonała , blisko do wszystkich ważnych miejsc . Śniadanie bardzo dobre . Hotel mieści się w pięknej , starej rezydencji miejskiej . Mieliśmy pokój na piętrze , z tarasem z widokiem na meczet - to było piękne . Kierownik hotelu jest bardzo łatwy w kontakcie , uśmiechnięty i sympatyczny . Dał nam plan miasta , rezerwował taksówki , był bardzo pomocny . Panie , będące personelem hotelu , były również bardzo miłe . Oboje z żoną mieliśmy doskonały , wspaniały pobyt .

Barış is a very friendly and helpfull person, he let us know where to park beforehand, he recommended restaurants which were good. Hotel is made of two seperate mansions with big garden.

It is overrated, i won’t trust the booking scores any more, bathroom was very small, toilet flush didnt work properly, the price is too much for such a hotel, breakfast hall was very worn out and dirty. They said it is their temporary place but still it is not my problem

Заранее нам прислали точную локацию парковки и самого отеля. Предложили более лучший номер, чем был забронирован без доплаты. (В нашу дату отель не был полностью заполнен). Отличный разнообразный завтрак. Рядом в пешей доступности все достопримечательности.

Everything perfect

The location is fantastic! The 200 hotel has great charm with rooms opening into courtyards, proving a very relaxing ambience. All the staff are very helpful, and especially Bariş who answered questions, helped us organise our journey and provided individualised advice.

Die Lage war perfekt, viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten waren zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Hilfsbereit und duper nett. Ich bedanke mich bei allen. Herr Barış hat uns über die Lage, Sehenswürdigkeiten, und vieles Mehr frühzeitig informiert und aEmpfehlungen gegeben. Das fand ich gut. Ich kann nur empfehlen weil man sich wirklich wie Zuhause fühlt.

El hotel es bello, cómodo, la habitación de piedra y madera es muy acogedora. Los espacios comunes amplios y muy bien decorados. La zona antigua donde está ubicado es impactante. El sr. Baris estuvo atento a nosotras desde antes de nuestra llegada, nos contactó con el sr Hasam con quien pudimos recorrer la ciudad y alrededores. Kaliruha Hotel is a nice place to stay that was made much better by the staff and manager - Baris. They sent us several messages about services and where/how to park. Baris himself was attentive and welcomed us personally with helpful information about the local area, history, and places to see and where to eat. We followed his recommendations and were happy we did. The hotel itself was a rennovated large manor. It was clean and well maintained.

While parking is free and available, it is a challenge. This is a historically old area within the city and streets are narrow and take some careful agressively defensive driving. (like most old city driving in Turkey)

Het Kaliruha hotel is een bijzonder hotel met allemaal binnenplaatsjes en terrasjes. Wij hadden een prachtige ruime authentieke kamer. Vooral opvallend was de voorkomendheid en vriendelijkheid van onze gastheer Baris, die alles deed om het naar onze zin te maken. Hij gaf vooraf al duidelijke instructies hoe we de door het hotel gehuurde gratis parkeerplaats in de buurt van het hotel konden vinden (het hotel ligt in een oud deel van de stad met allemaal steegjes), en het hotel. Wij hebben geen hotelmanager meegemaakt die zoveel en makkelijk kon communiceren met google translate..

Het viel ons niet tegen, maar er zijn kamers die je met trapjes moet bereiken, dus als dat lastig is zou ik dat aangeven.

It was a pure pleasure to stay at Kaliruha hotel during my trip in southern Turkey. Localization is just perfect - in a quiet and safe neighbourhood but only a few steps away from the main square and attractions. Contact with personel was fantastic! Typical Turkish breakfast was abundant, with a plenty of warm and cold snacks options.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was wonderful, but a few details truly made it exceptional and incredibly comfortable. The owner is kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms and shared spaces are beautiful—full of character, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, while still being very comfortable. The bed was excellent, the shower great, and all the amenities you might need were provided. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. Even before our arrival, we received clear and detailed instructions about parking, which made a big difference and saved us a lot of stress. Every recommendation from the owner was spot on and added so much to our experience. We would happily stay here again.

The staff was wonderful special note to Baris. The accommodation were excellent, location perfect for walking and breakfast was good. Baris was very helpful even helping arrange this that are not his responsibility and always happy to help. I don’t think he ever slept.

Manager Baris Ayman biedt de gasten voor aankomst al alle mogelijkheden, zodat het verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk verloopt. Van tevoren nam hij contact met ons op om te vragen of we een shuttledienst of iets anders nodig hadden. Het hotel bevindt zich op een locatie met zeer smalle straatjes, waar de auto’s niet in kunnen. De auto’s worden kosteloos op een bewaakte parkeerplaats gestald, in opdracht van het hotel. Het centrum is op loopafstand. De manager zorgt ervoor dat alle koffers van het voertuig naar het hotel worden gebracht en andersom. Manager Baris geeft goed advies over de bezienswaardigheden in en nabij de stad en kun je bij hem met alle vragen terecht. Hij onderhoudt voortdurend contact met de hotelgasten. Hotelmedewerkster Emine is verantwoordelijk voor het ontbijt en bedient iedereen op een vriendelijke en efficiënte manier.

The hotel manager, Baris provided very good service and was available to help us at all times. We loved the location of the hotel in the narrow alleyways of the old city.

Der Transfer/Taxidienst mit Hasan über das Hotel war ausgezeichnet. Die Leitung des Hotels, Herr Barış sowie die Angestellten Ali, Emine und Hatice waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein top Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

The hotel is in the Old City, near a good retaurant and just a stones through from the market. It is safe and one can walk eveywhere from there. Breakfast was great and the rooms comfortable and big. Our host Baris was extremely friendly and helpfull. He did whatever he could to make our stay as comfortable as he could. We will definately stay with Baris again on our return to Urfa.

Excellent location. Incredibly helpful staff, especially Mr Barış gives you all sorts of clues about Urfa including where to see and where to eat. He also recommended a taxi driver dedicated to Kaliruha customers which you can take to go to Göbekli tepe, airport, bus station and the museums.

The bathroom needs renovation. Towels need to be renewed, they are clean but old. filter coffee options for breakfast can be nice to add. The lighting of the room and bathroom are weak and the switches of the lights are reachable from the beds.

Amazing host with a perfect old house of Urfa. The location was in the middle of old part of the town. Many places can be walked by from hotel. Our host Barış bey was simply amazing. His suggestions are on point so listen to him please.

This is a wonderful place and everything and everybody made us feel at home. An authentic traditional house with lovely courtyards and rooftops. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms, quiet but very central location. A highlight is the great breakfast by Amina, and the friendly and supportive Baris at reception.

Kurz nach der Buchung hat sich Herr Barış bei und mit ersten Informationen gemeldet. Dank seinen Informationen haben wir den bewachten Parkplatz ein paar Schritte vom Hotel leicht gefunden. Bei der Ankunft hat er uns viele Tipps zur Stadt gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ist mit allen Luxus, was nicht selbstverständlich ist, ausgestattet. Aufgrund des kalten Wetter Anfang April schätzten wir den großen Elektroheizkörper sehr. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Dusche hatte hohen Wasserdruck und heisses Wasser, Wasser, Kaffee und Tee standen zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist vollkommen ruhig und sehr sicher. Ein paar Meter entfernt befinden sich sehr gute Restaurants. Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind leicht zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das allerbeste ist auch das fantastische türkische Frühstück. Wir bekamen so viele köstliche Speisen das der Tisch schon zu klein war.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut direkt in der Altstadt . Hotel ist im historischen Baustil mit Innenhof . Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit . Er gab uns auch sehr viele hilfreiche Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt .

Leider wurde zum Zeitpunkt unseren Aufenthalts der Frühstücksraum renoviert und so wurde behelfsweise ein anderer Raum genutzt in dem es morgens sehr kalt war trotz Heizstrahler ( wir hatten immer unsere Jacken an beim Frühstück ) . Das Frühstück war okay aber habe ich aber in der Türkei schon besser erlebt ( überhaupt zu dem Preis ) . Hatten auch bei unserer Ankunft zwei schmutzige Handtücher bei uns im Bad die wir gleich gewechselt haben . Bei unserem Zimmer und dem Zimmer von meiner Schwägerin wurde einmal zwei Tag lang die Handtücher nicht gewechselt - wäre für uns nicht so schlimm gewesen doch in unserem Zimmer wurde auch der Müll nicht geleert und das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt und ging aus . Man hat sich dafür sehr entschuldigt bei uns aber sowas darf halt einfach nicht passieren .

The place was in the heart of Sanliurfa. Location is amazing. It is hardly a hotel because it is a “konak” which welcomes you in an authentic garden. You can walk almost everywhere and there are buses going to Gobeklitepe from Archaeological Museum. Hotel official, Baris, was very helpful; he explained everything on a map he had and gave the map to us. He recommended very good places to eat nearby as well.

Breakfast can be a bit better but it is hardly a problem. Please try spicy egg in the breakfast and thank me later.

Kaliruha Hotel offers a comfortable and authentic stay with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent for exploring nearby historic sites, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Barış was especially helpful—he even arranged a car for us at a much better price than taxis from the airport to the hotel.

The only drawback was that taxis cannot reach the hotel directly, requiring a short walk of approximately 150 meters, which can be inconvenient when carrying luggage. However, Barış was extremely helpful and assisted us with our bags from the street. Additionally, having an espresso machine in the rooms would have further enhanced the overall experience.

Special gratitude to Mr Bariş bey, who was very welcoming and attentive to make our stay just as warm as at home. Before our arrival he was very thoughtfull and provided us with all the details regarding the stay, how to find the parking lot, where to eat (that was especially wonderful), what to see in the town and surrondings. We love the place, the hotel team, and would definitely recommend staying here

L'hôtel est idéalement situé en pleine vielle ville dans une très belle ancienne demeure. Deux cours ornées de jasmin. Tout est à deux pas: centre historique, bazar, musées etc. Pas besoin de voiture! Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, tout y est: omelette, et autres spécialités de la région, oeufs, tomates, concombres, fruits en quantité, pain, beurre, confiture etc.etc. On en est rassasié jusqu'au dîner! Mention spéciale au taxi "fourni" par l'hôtel. Et son chauffeur Hassan!

Mr. Barış contacted me two days before the check-in date and shared all the helpful information, such as the hotel’s location, the parking area, and alternative transportation options from the airport to the hotel. It was the first time a hotel I booked reached out with such support. He also welcomed us warmly and gave us a briefing about the hotel (the history of the building, its concept, etc.), the neighborhood, the best places to visit, and the best restaurants for dinner. The room was very clean and even more beautiful than in the photos, with a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was also very rich.

The welcome,the care and support from Mr Bariş were way beyond the best possible. I received all relevant information about sourrounding areas,restaurants,trips,facilities even before arriving. The hotel is lovely and all the taxi arrangement made by Mr Bariş were perfect. His passion for his work shows. Exceptional service from the very nice staff. Communication via WhatsApp in English worked very well. Great location in a cared-for neighborhood less than 5 minutes walk from grand mosque. Free parking about 200m away was a nice plus. We would happily stay here again on a future visit to Urfa.

Very historical and beautiful building with equally beautiful staff. The breakfast was lovely and despite a misunderstanding with rooms at the beginning, the staff quickly resolved and offered a free laundry service in return. They even hand washed my clothes when I asked for it to be cold water — not what I expected, but appreciated!

Because it is an old building, there are some slight plumbing inconsistencies (fluctuating water temp), but not enough to dock it a point all things considering

Struttura bellissima, pulitissima, posizione ideale per visitare il centro storico e per raggiungere la strada principale dove ci sono i migliori ristoranti e negozi. La colazione buonissima, con tanti prodotti locali di altissima qualità. E poi c’è Baris che ti accoglie con massima cordialità e si prende cura di ogni cosa, come per esempio la prenotazione di ristoranti d attività, l’organizzazione del trasporto per l’aeroporto, la visita dei siti archeologici, insomma tutto! Una persona eccezionale e un grande aiuto per i viaggiatori!
