I really liked the kitchen—which was always clean—and the bathrooms. As for the beds, I’d suggest adding a curtain for a bit more privacy.

We stayed at Princes Street Hostel after a loooooong and tiring day at the airport during the cancellation of so many flights, they welcomed us and they even lowered the prices once they knew about the chaos that was happening because of the problems at the UK airports. Great service, very quiet to sleep and room and bathroom were really clean and tidy. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended!

The location is perfect- it’s within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions and just a 5-minute walk from the train station.

I noticed that the blanket seemed to have been used and was not properly laundered. It had an unpleasant smell, and I experienced some skin irritation after using it.

Breakfast is a very good deal, location is really convenient, staff was really kind and helpful and beds are comfy.

It's a fourth floor with no elevator, so It can be an issue if you are not travelling light. Unless unseen this is not really specified as such when booking. Unfortunately, wasnt lucky with my roomies, who were noisy (you cant watch videos at 3 am without earphones dear and be surprised when someone complains!), but that's not hostel's fault.

It was close to Waverley station

Didn’t mention it was hard to find and when you are dragging two small suitcases along cobbles, not great There 84 steps up to get there AND a small spiral staircase. I don’t know how anyone could get a slightly larger suitcase up there They may have had bigger facilities but to have to go up and down 84 steps to get milk for a cup of coffee! I ended up leaving my luggage at the storage facility next door and taking a few days of clothes out to use to save me going up and down stairs more than once a day and having to get my luggage up and down stairs. There was a bar very near and was very loud at night. There enough stairs in Edinburgh without being warned that this hostel has 84 stairs and a narrow circular staircase. One one day I did a day tour and was then going to the Edinburgh Tattoo and could not take in a late bag into the castle and didn’t want to have to bring my bag back to the hostel, go up and down stairs then and at the end of the night, I bought a jacket from primark and paid the leave the back at a facility near the castle while I was out Also, lockers were right next to the bed headboards so not only were they noisy next to another residents head if you were using them early in the day to book out or arriving late at night but they were noisy when trying to unlock them

Fantastic location, main attractions, cozy cafes, and transport links are just a couple of minutes' walk away. The room, toilet, and shower were clean and quiet, despite being right in the city center. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. Check-in was fast and hassle-free, and the staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful, many thanks to them! Special gratitude for letting me store my travel bag before check-in and after check-out; that was super convenient. Everything went flawlessly from start to finish. Highly recommended for a short stay in Edinburgh!

Too many stairs to get to the hostel, I'm young but if you have some issues climbing up stairs consider this since can be a problem, also there is a pub down the street and the noise can bother a little bit on weekends.

Amazing! The vibe here is incredible, the staff are like instant best friends, and the whole place is sparkling clean! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of everything, so you can just walk everywhere.

This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Budget-friendly, great location, and everything was so clean and well-organized. They even offered free luggage storage after checkout. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, which was the best part! The shower rooms were so clean and hot water came out strong👍🏻 The beds were clean and comfortable too.

Only problem was no lift but top floor but I didn’t have a carier so to me it was fine.

Stayed here for one night during the fringe festival, and I have to say, I cannot wait to return. An amazing central location which is complimented by the exceptional staff and wonderful facilities. It felt more like the Ritz than a hostel. The room itself was fantastic, sparkling clean with exceptionally comfortable beds, and easily accessible toilets. I have to say I will definitely be returning for the fringe festival next year, but the stay was so good I will likely come back sooner just so that I can stay here again.

There was nothing not to like!

We had the most amazing stay here during the fringe festival! The hostel was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were very knowledgeable about edinbrugh and always helpful with any questions we had. Big shout out to Thomas and Anika for their recommendations and help!

Das escadas para acessar a recepção. Para quem chega com mala, elas são péssimas 🥺. No quarto onde eu estava havia duas meninas que faziam barulhos quando chegavam (após o horário de silêncio).

Bathrooms were very clean, convenient and well stocked. Beds comfy and clean. Staff super helpful and accommodating, and the common room was great with lots of games place to gather and meet other travelers.

La ubicación perfecta justo a 5 minutos a pie del casco historico. Y la limpieza y comodidad de las instalaciones.

Nuestra habitación (doble con litera) estaba justo entre unos baños y una escalera, por lo que el flujo de gente era muy elevado y la insonorización era nula. Muy ruidoso. Además la almohada era muy fina, sin opción a ponerla doble.

Hostel położony prawie w samym centrum, blisko głównych atrakcji, sklepów i przystanków. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, czyste łazienki i pokoje. Ogromnym plusem była możliwość zostawienia bagażu przed zameldowaniem. Świetnie miejsce wypadowe dla zwiedzania Edynburga.

Jedynym minusem był zimny prysznic w jeden wieczór, chociaż było to pewnie spowodowane zużyciem wody przez innych gości.

Alles vorhanden, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wer seine Fitness steigern möchte, ist dort richtig (71 Treppenstufen 😉). Duschen und Toiletten sehr sauber. Lage: super zentral!

This was my first time staying at a hostel. The property was a 3 min walk to the train station. It was very clean. Bathrooms appeared new and modern. It was an excellent value for the price.

Muy limpio! Literas grandes y comodas, eso si, las literas de arriba quedaban demasiado cerca del techo ya que al estar en el ultimo piso, la pared quedaba baja y no podias ni estar sentada. La ubicacion fue imejorable.

Fue terrible la de escaleras que tuvimos que subir hasta las habitacion 41. Es como dos edificios conectados por dentro y es un poco dificil ubicarte. Todo pasillos muy estrechos que giran y suben escaleras. Tambien es verdad que solo estuvimos 1 noche y no pudimos hacernos al lugar. De lo mas curioso!

El personal muy atento y buena onda! Si bien estuve en una habitación de 10 camas (37) pude dormir bastante bien sin ruidos de afuera y por supuesto por los que me tocaron compartir. Me gustó que haya un lavamanos en la habitación y una pequeña mesa. Buena ventilación. Me gustó que haya agua caliente en la cocina ya lista para hacerte un café o un te. Cerca del shopping de Edimburgo.

Al llegar hay que subir varios escalones, se vuelve un poco denso si venis con bolso o valija pesada. Para hacer el check in tuve que esperar unos 20 minutos porque no había nadie. Las almohadas podrían ser mejores. La sala de estar es pequeña.

The walls were too thin, whenever someone got out of a room, you would hear it and there was a green safety light that was way too bright in the night.

We liked it!

Can’t avoid the stairs but it also had little noise, so that was a plus despite the stairs. This was particularly good given it is a hostel.

The hostel has a clean and modern kitchen and bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable, and each bed has a power outlet nearby, including USB charging ports, which was very convenient. The location is excellent, very close to the city center, yet in a quiet area. The staff were also very helpful.

If the bed has a curtain, it would be perfect. If the beds had privacy curtains, it would be perfect.

Coffee,tea,sugar were provided, so better to have milk free is better. Many steps to the top floor was hard after long walking day, but could be good exercise for health.

We had a double room with shared W/C and shower. Esceptionally clean throughout. Complimentary tea and coffee... There is a large fully equipped kitchen available with all appliances for your use. Plenty of refrigeration storage too.

The hostel is immaculate and the location is perfect! They have great recommendations of restaurants, places to visit, and events. I went to a local traditional Scottish dance that was advertised at the hostel and it was so fun. The staff are so sweet and helpful!!

Overall the hostel was great value. It was the perfect location to get to experience the city with easy access to transit. The facilities were clean and safe. The wifi is strong. The staff was very accommodating.

The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable, but overall not bad. My room window opened up to some noisy street with what sounded like a glass recycling center running nonstop, so a little loud at night.

Tout, s’était vieux mais très propre. WoW à la grandeur de la salle de bain avec douche . En plus toujours très propre. La chambre familiale était correct, avec juste assez d’espace pour ne pas se piler sur les pieds. Parfait pour notre court séjour de 2 nuits. J’aurais pu y passer plus de temps sans problèmes.

Malheureusement notre chambre était au 5 ieme étage pas ascenseur. S’était connu d’avance car bien indiqué dans la description et les escaliers très étroit. Faut juste en être conscient quand on réserve. Ça n’a rien de dramatique mais ça enlève un peu à l’expérience positive .

The location is perfect and the toilet and shower facilities are very clean. I know so many people say that and I was initially doubtful myself, but during my stay, everything was very clean indeed! The kitchen is well-equipped too and the lounge has plenty of tables and lots of outlets. Everything is just very convenient. I would stay here again in the future should I ever find myself fortunate to travel to Edinburgh once more!

O café da manhã é pago a parte, é um café da manhã simples, caso você esteja com muita fome talvez não seja suficiente.

Única observação que tenho é de que poderiam ter cortinas nas camas, fiquei em alguns hostels que tinham e isso pode aprimorar a privacidade dos hospedes.

L'ostello è in posizione veramente centrale. Molto pulito anche nelle parti comuni, letti comodi. Non abbiamo utilizzato la cucina ma sembrava molto ordinata e ben fornita.

Ci avevano avvisati che c'erano molte scale, e davvero sono tante, specialmente se dormite nelle stanze ancora più in alto come noi; noi non abbiamo avuto problemi, ma non è adatto a chi ha problemi di deambulazione o bagagli molto pesanti. Sotto all'ostello c'è un bar che a volte la sera fa musica dal vivo fino a tarda ora: portatevi dei tappi.

26년 5월 기준 가격도 1박에 10만원 정도이고 호스텔 치고도 굉장히 시설이 깔끔해요. 방도 그렇고 주방도 넓고 관리가 잘 되어 있는 느낌이었습니다. 체크인 전에 왓츠앱으로 소통해서 체크인 시간을 미리 조율할 수 있었습니다. 위치도 버스 타는 곳 근처라 시내 다니기 좋아요

계단이 너무 높았습니다. 캐리어가 있으시면 절대 오면 안될거 같아요.

location is perfect, less than a 5 minute wak away from the airport expeess busstop and walkable to most places of interest in the city. its less than 10 mins away to calton hill by foot and to victoria street. the place was very clean and staff was super friendly as well. i have no complaints at all and would love to stay here again

Das Hostel liegt sehr zentral und ist für alle Arten von Unternehmungen bestens geeignet.

Teilweise waren die Mitbewohner sehr laut (Krach auf dem Flur um 3:00 Uhr am Morgen). Manchmal haben Mitbewohner die Toilette schmutzig hinterlassen. Mitbewohner haben um 6:00 Uhr am Morgen im Flur Haare geföhnt.
