Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our 14-day stay. The hotel was very clean and had a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. A special mention goes to the chef, who was very accommodating and prepared special meals for us on several occasions when we requested them. We genuinely appreciated the hospitality and personal attention from the team, and these were definitely the strongest parts of our stay.
Considering the hotel was quite expensive, there were several areas that did not meet our expectations. Although the hotel had a large menu of around four or five pages, most of the time only two or three dishes were actually available. There were also a lot of flies around the dining area, which personally made the environment feel unhygienic.
One evening, the electricity went off for approximately four hours and there did not appear to be an adequate backup generator. As our room had no balcony or window that could be opened, it became extremely hot without air conditioning, to the point where we had to lie on the floor for some time. There was also no running water in the bathroom during this period.
The room was advertised on Booking.com as soundproof, but in our experience it was not soundproof at all and we could clearly hear outside noise. The Wi-Fi was also advertised as high-speed, but it was extremely slow and at times felt similar to using an old 3G mobile connection.
We understand that issues such as bad weather and unexpected power cuts can be outside the hotel's control. However, considering the price we paid, we expected better infrastructure, reliable basic facilities and advertised features that accurately reflected what was actually provided.

Before that I wrote that the TV didn't work for the first two days, but who really needs a TV with such beautiful girls 😁

Special thanks to Ronnie, chef and personnel that helped me when I was severly sick for 2 days. They took so good care for me helping me get meds and prepare my food according to my dietary requirements. I also stayed at the Nest hotel for 2 nights and were so generous to upgrade me to a better room!

La qualité de goût de certain produit ( pas tous ) notamment les jus, le café n’est pas d’une grande qualité . Mais ces remarques me semblent plutôt supportables par rapport au rapport qualité prix de l’hôtel et des lieux .

Ужасный запах канализации в номере, запах бензина на улице, так как рядом стоит заправка. Шум от животных в потолке ночью. Воду не приносили. Многие вещи в номере сломаны. Грязные полотенца. Несколько лампочек не светилось. Ужасная еда и порой ее отсутствие, очереди в столовой.
Hotel is breaking apart. Don’t be fooled by the photos. Had a cockroach in my room, holes in the wall and bathtub. Had to change rooms but still lacking comfort. WiFi was amazing. Island is amazing but you’re close to the dock and hear construction. Food is probably the worst I’ve seen ever. And I’ve seen a lot! Staff is very nice.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Friendly service with nice views and friendly staff like Hassan. Very flexible on early checkin etc. Nice arrival with a cold towel and a drink. The pool was nice. The hotel was also very quiet which is nice and even tho on the other side of the bikini beach, it was only 5mins walk as it was a small nice island. The breakfast was nice even tho not many choices.
There was no warm water in my room. I did mention it and unfortunately they were not able to fix it. The room has nice tech features but sadly not all were working (I.e. automatic curtains which I had to stand on a chair to open and close manually). You could see the effects of the constant sun and passage of time on the hotel. There were finishes that were peeling from the wall etc. The dinner was not worth it. Almost no choices and the chicken was not really the best, breakfast was good even without the many choices.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained – our room was spotless and the common areas were always tidy.
The staff were incredibly friendly, smiling and helpful at all times. They made us feel very welcome and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their positive attitude really made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt comfortable, relaxed and well taken care of during our stay.
Thank you to the whole team for the great service and warm hospitality – we truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again!

Hot water in room was rust-red, curtains broken, room dilapidated and outdated. So bad that we were changed to another hotel almost immediately. However, I did waste about 4 hours of our time there due to this which I won’t get back. We were not offered any compensation or remuneration for all the issues we had, only an “upgrade” to the adjacent hotel which was one star less than the Swarm and lacked front desk service.
Was informed renovations are coming, but that doesn’t help me.
Images are not reflective of room or hotel facility.
I am hoping the new management puts care into revitalising this property as it has a lot of potential. I will note that the staff there were responsive, accommodating, and open to suggestions for guest activities. Everyone was doing their best and I believe the new owners of Hawkes want to improve things as they are native to Kamadhoo and take pride in their business. Mr. Hassan, if you see this, your online booking portal didn’t work for us and I would love to connect to help build it out for you with my software team!
Would be 9/10 if above issues are resolved.

En general teniamos que sacarles la información a base de preguntas, como los servicios que ofrecian y las excusiones disponibles. El primer día nos cambiaron de habitación porque la que habiamos reservado era de una categoria inferior a la que nos habían dado. Nos metieron mucha prisa para hacer el cambio porque los otros clientes estaban esperando. La comunicación por parte del con el hotel fue mala. Solo tiene una escalera de acceso y no está protegida contra el fuego. En caso de incendio en una planta inferior no hay forma de evacuar las plantas superiores. El hotel tiene 7 plantas. En la isla hay mejores opciones de alojamiento a un precio inferior.

A alimentação é insuficiente sem sabor e a demora em repor também precisa ser melhorada. Passeios com mergulho também precisam ser incluídos/ melhorados, imagine ir para as Maldivas e não oferecerem mergulhos? Saí 5 dias antes somente para poder fazer mergulho em Hulhumale.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Die Lage des Hotels war gut und die Insel ist sehr schön. Vorallem der große Bikinibeach mit den Schnorchelmöglichkeiten ist super, allerdings muss man bis ans Ende der Insel laufen, der Strand ist nicht vor der Tür.
Es fällt mir sehr schwer, objektiv zu bewerten. Will man nur das Schlechte sehen, gibt es viel zu entdecken, genauso, wenn man nur das Schöne sehen will. Einerseits war das Zimmer mit Balkon zum Hafen schön, aber dafür wurde es durch den Schiffsverkehr sehr laut, vorallem in den Morgenstunden. Dann keine Dusche, sondern duschen in der nur teils abgetrennten Badewanne, das war sehr mühsam und das Bad schwamm danach. Und der Geruch im Bad (und damit dann auch im Zimmer) war stellenweise echt unangenehm. Nach Ansprache an der Rezeption kam aber sofort jemand und hat alle Abflüsse gründlichst gereinigt. Das Problem liegt aber sicher eher in der Bauart begründet, denn es war mal schlimmer und mal besser, je nach Wetterlage. Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte sonst täglich gründlich. Wechsel von Handtüchern und Bettwäsche erfolgte regelmäßig.
Und ja, das Hotel hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Im Treppenhaus sah es fürchterlich aus, da dies aber für meinen Urlaub nicht ganz so ausschlaggebend war, fließt dies eher nur minimal in meine Bewertung mit ein, sonst müsste man noch einen oder zwei Punkte abziehen.
Das Essen hat soweit gepasst. Es war einfach, aber geschmeckt hat es. Zum Frühstück hätte ich mir mehr Auswahl an Früchten gewünscht, das war nicht so toll. Die Bedienung war durchweg nett.
An der Rezeption kam es darauf an, wen man angesprochen hat.
Was mich noch gestört hat, dass man keinerlei Informationen erhalten hat. Weder zu eventuellen Ausflügen oder zu den Liegen am Strand oder was auch immer. Warum legt man nicht einfach eine Broschüre auf jedes Zimmer, mit allen nützlichen Infos und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten? Abends hat man Zeit seine nächsten Tage zu planen. Das wäre sicher eine bessere Vermarktung der Ausflüge. So mussten wir tatsächlich erstmal fragen, ob überhaupt was angeboten wird, um dann einen lieblosen Hefter mit jeweils 5 Sätzen zur Einsicht zu bekommen.
Die Lage war gut.
Das Hotel ist absolut abgeranzt. Die Wandverkleidungen fallen ab, der Putz löst sich von der Decke, die Fenster sind schmutzig, es richtig im Bad unangenehm,....
Der Krahn ist in Betrieb, die Bauarbeiter schweben über dem Pool und schauen von außen ins Fenster rein. Es war ein Reinfall.
The bed was super comfortable, the wifi worked, the bathroom was nice.
The food was okay.
The bags disappeared in transit for a while.
The linen was mainly clean.
The beach is beautiful.
Slow check (about an hour but lots checking in) During meals all the flies at meal times around the food, very basic but edible food.
The lack of communication from the transfer team, the failure to book promised transfer, slow communication, they let us know the sea plane was not possible at 23:00 the night before, and took an hour to let us know we had to be up at 04:30 for the transfer the night before, kind of summed up the stay was told don't worry is the same price, google suggests it should have been significantly cheaper, again it feels like profit over care might have been the hotels mantra. It is not an expensive stay but smiles and friendly would probably have made the rest a little more forgivable.
Tried to book an excursion twice and was told the details will be shared with us still waiting.
New years eve gala arrived on time and told to come back 30 minutes later. Then no free tables when we arrived stood at the buffet for a while then went to bed. Missing the activities.
Some much needed maintenance was also happening at the same time which was super loud, but again totally understandable that it needed to happen, the small details like saying sorry some work is happening sorry about that would have made a huge difference. The rooms were also super noisey, we stayed in three different rooms, all you could hear the corridor or general clatter.
The vibe was mainly middle aged moaning people, have tried desperately not to be one of them, but possibly give another place a try!
Again might have been an accident but asked us to pay a paid bill, our friends who were visiting also had errors on their bills.
I feel slightly bad writing this as the staff were very busy but there was just not enough of them, and those were there seemed to be there all the time.

Reviewed Dec 23, 2025Der Ausblick war unglaublich schön! Es war sehr sauber- jeden Tag gab es frische Handtücher und das Zimmer wurde gereinigt. Das Frühstück hat jeden Tag gewechselt. Vorallem das Personal war sehr nett (Sushmitha und Hassan haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt) Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Aktuell sind viele Baustellen auf der Insel- aber da kann das Hotel nichts für!

2. Отель небольшой, по 3 номера на этаже;
3. Персонал достаточно услужливый;
4. Месторасположение хорошее - сам остров жилой, но не шумный;
5. Номер очень большой и просторный, так же большая ванная комната;
6. Вещи было куда положить, но со спецификой, например не было полок;
7. Хорошая вентиляция, гибко регулируется, действительно работает, не отключается когда вытаскиваешь карточку, поэтому мокрые вещи все-таки сохли;
1. Первые дней пять были постоянные проблемы с водой. Вероятно, что-то меняли, но она выключалась в самый неподходящий момент, и ждать её можно было минут по 15-20;
2. Само качество строительства отеля вызывает легкие вопросы, те же панорамные окна могут слегка подтекать, особенно когда шквальный дождь в окно;
3. Еда - могла бы быть более разнообразной. Первые дней 5 повар безбожно пересушивал все белковые блюда. Ассортимент в реале был намного меньше - 4 блюдо всегда было каким-то дополнительным, и не очень блюдом. Из напитков на обед и ужин только вода и чай. Утром был сок;
4. В ванной комнате вода не течет в слив, мокрые вещи особо некуда повесить;
5. Номер не такой светлый. Если вы любите что-то почитать, то с этим будут сложности;
6. Собственный пляж - сильно сказано, купать там особо невозможно, нужно идти на островной. А загорать там вполне можно;
7. По чистоте - регулярно находили пыль;
8. Постельное белье за 11 ночей поменяли 1 раз - считаю что это недостаточно;

Служителите работят отборно и резултатът е видим. Има абсолютно стиковане при организиране на пътуванията с хидроплан и скоростни лодки. Храната е добре приготвена и вкусна.
Шумът от многобройните строежи на острова, както и други са писали в Букинг.

Duży taras , automatyczne zaspłony na pilota , jacuzzi , wygodne łóżko, tv . Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni z apatlrtamentu naprawdę warto go zarezerwować . Bardzo tanie posiłki można zamawiać do pokoju .
Ciśnienie wody czasem zerowe i woda nie chciała płynąć do kranu . Napełnienie ciepłą woda jacuzzi wręcz niemożliwe trzeba było z czajnika wlewać wrzątek. Żaluzje rolety czasem w łazience same się włączają . W jeden dzień zepsuta winda i trzeba było schodami wchodzić a to ostatnie piętro ale to akurat wszędzie mogło się przytrafić .

Рядом нашли прекрасный ресторан на улице с фонариками, фрукты покупали на крайней улице, продавец приятный у него тоже ужинали - понравилось. Уборка в номере хорошая, в полу канализацию прикрывали полотенцем, в ванной закрывали крышку - тогда запаха нет. Вид из панорамных окон прекрасный, но Вас видно из лодки и под окнами могут пройти строители. Завтрак аскетичный, но достаточный. Пляж возле отеля с лежаками. При приезде нас встречал весь персонал отеля, что очень приятно. В отеле есть своя лодка, ездили с ними на экскурсию- понравилось. Сам остров приятный
Портят вид технические баки на пирсе возле отеля, как бы их замаскировать? Еда в отеле не вкусная, перепробовали все; особенно поразила испорченная приготовлением полусырая вареная рыба без корочки, удивительно как можно такое приготовить, даже суп странный. Запах в номере победили закрыванием ванны и слива на полу.

Our recent stay was highly enjoyable. The hotel is located adjacent to the harbour. The island itself is small and currently experiencing significant development activity. Guests should be aware of ongoing construction noise and the constant movement of heavy vehicles transporting materials. The hotel is relatively small and appears to be in need of some refurbishment. However, the facilities provided were good. A particular highlight was the complimentary massage, which was a relaxing touch. The beach is conveniently located just a short distance from the hotel and was relatively quiet.
A massive thank you to our guides, Yaadhu and Shaiha, who were truly fantastic. They expertly led us through a variety of memorable excursions, including snorkelling, fishing, dolphin watching, and tiger shark feeding. We also wish to recognize Bikas (Front Desk), Susmita and Laxmi (Restaurant), and Raj (Security) for their exceptional help and attentiveness throughout our visit.
Overall, our stay was relaxing, offering an awesome sea view. Despite the minor cosmetic and noise concerns, we enjoyed our time at the hotel.
The food was a major disappointment. The available beverages were quite basic with limited variety.
We were fortunate to discover a nearby local establishment, Akamadhoo restaurant, which provided a decent and satisfactory alternative for our meals. The private boat transport was also very expensive. The hotel charged us $165 one way for a 25 minute ride to a nearby private resort.

Reviewed Nov 27, 2025We noticed a nice looking hotel online at Kamadhoo island and thought it would be a nice stop for our Maldivian island hopping experience. We booked in for one night at the Swarn by Hawks. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. The floor to ceiling glass view of the ocean is quite spectacular. We were upgraded from the Deluxe Sea View to the Executive Suite, which was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay a couple extra nights. Our travel plans changed and we ended up extending our stay at the hotel for another week. Ravin (the manager) was very accommodating in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing.
We only ate the breakfasts at the hotel and it was a delicious buffet breakfast. We can’t comment on the other meals because we ended up eating out at the local restaurants.
There was construction going on around the hotel and there are deficiencies in the newly built hotel, but they are addressing them and doing renovations as needed. The cost/night reflected this and more than compensated for the issues.
The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. As we were leaving one of the workers ran up to us to give us a few items that we accidentally left behind in the room.
Everyone at Swarn by Hawks contributed to make our stay a memorable one. Thanks for everything!!

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025The personal was friendly and eager to help, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately we stayed on the 1st floor, so our view was the harbor and the poolbar. We had to keep our curtains shut otherwise everybody would have been able to see into the rooms.
Around the hotel are several construction sites for new high buildings which hopefully won‘t destroy the character of the local island.
The charming part of the island with it’s beautiful beach is on the other side of the island.

Premesso che Kamadhoo è un ‘isola carina con una bellissima bikini beach, sconsiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo hotel in quanto ci hanno creato innumerevoli disguidi che hanno parzialmente rovinato la nostra vacanza.
La camera aveva delle perdite di acqua dal wc , solo dopo molta insistenza ci è stata assegnata, il giorno successivo,un’altra stanza, questo ci ha costretto a rifare i bagagli per trovarci poi in una camera non esente da problemi ( la puzza di fogna era costante)
La colazione è improponibile e assolutamente lontana da ogni standard accettabile (caffè espresso a pagamento 5 dollari)
Prenotate le escursioni e pagate in anticipo veniamo a scoprire che il titolare dell’albergo sospende l’attività già venduta a suo piacimento
Dopo averci proposto e fatto pagare il trasferimento per il ritorno a Malè con il seaplain che partiva dall’isola nel pomeriggio (viaggio di 25 minuti) ci dicono che non è più disponibile e che allo stesso prezzo ci danno il volo domestico (con partenza da un’altra isola )nel pomeriggio ( peccato che il volo domestico facesse più scali e durasse 1 ora e mezzo e quindi non non ci avrebbe permesso di prendere l’aereo di ritorno per l’Italia ) dopo aver fatto notare l’errore ci dicono che l’unica possibilità era partire la mattina ( giornata persa,avremmo fatto molto prima e risparmiato tanto soldi partendo con la barca ) . Insomma fino all’ultimo giorno vacanza rovinata per la loro totale incompetenza e inaffidabilità.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness of the entire team. A special thank-you goes to Hotel Manager Ravin, whose leadership and hospitality were evident in every detail. He made sure we felt welcome, cared for, and completely at ease throughout our stay.
We also want to highlight the wonderful service provided by Sushmitha, whose kindness, professionalism, and constant smile made each day brighter. She went above and beyond to anticipate our needs, and her genuine dedication to guest comfort truly stood out.
Another absolute highlight of our trip were the snorkeling excursions. Our guides, Yaadhu and Shaiha, were exceptional – knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and deeply committed to creating a safe and memorable experience for everyone. Thanks to them, we had the chance to swim with manta rays, an experience we will never forget. Their passion for the ocean and marine life made the excursions not only fun but also incredibly meaningful.
Overall, Swarn Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The combination of outstanding staff, breathtaking surroundings, and unforgettable adventures made this trip truly special. We can highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return anytime.
While our stay was truly wonderful, we would like to mention that a few rooms could benefit from minor renovations, likely due to the natural effects of the sea humidity. It didn’t impact our overall experience, but updating these areas would make the hotel even more comfortable and elevate the guest experience even further.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2025Отель на локальном острове оказался очень необычным.Панорамный вид на океан фантастический,6 пультов управления в номере,задумка автоматизации в номере отличная,исполнение хромает.В ресторане работает очень хороший шеф повар,готовят вкусно,и по вполне демократичным ценам.Персонал умнички,работают с каждым туристом по высшему разряду.Трансфер из Мале на гидросамолете супер,обязательно воспользуйтесь,так как это самый дешёвый и удобный вариант добраться до острова.Цена здесь самая низкая на гидросамолет.
На острове очень много строек.Строители иногда работают даже по ночам.На 6 этаже слабый напор воды.Есть вопросы к сантехнике (кроме японского унитаза) и к управлению шторами в номере.Не все работают с пульта.На острове мало уюта,качельки в воде сломаны.Зон,с наклоненными пальмами над океаном для красивых фото нет.Пляж большой,широкий....но без изюминки.Просто хороший пляж.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025What I particularly liked was the staff in the hotel. Not only were they welcoming and tended to my every need, they were also kind and caring. The hotel itself provides a fantastic seaview from almost all sides and is well equipped.
The only drawback was that there was a construction site next to the hotel at that time, so it was rather noisy when I wanted to chill at the pool. However, the friendly staff compensated for that.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025We had the holiday of a lifetime at Swarn by Hawks Hotel, due to the beauty and atmosphere on Kamadhoo, the amazing facilities of the hotel, and, most importantly, Swarn’s incredible, friendly and dedicated staff.
The rooms are as gorgeous as the photos suggest and the housekeeping team are excellent. Reception is friendly, helpful and informative for any questions or requests, as well as transfers/day trips to and from the island.
We enjoyed the food at the hotel, and were pleasantly surprised by the many other options on Kamadhoo if you do wish to dine out. Don’t listen when people say you must go all inclusive at your hotel in Maldives, or else be charged ridiculous prices for food/snacks… perhaps this is true of resort islands, but for Kamadhoo this was not the case (but do remember cash as not everywhere will accept card, and at present there is no ATM on the island).
Some special mentions - thank you so much to Rifa for the snorkelling excursions and his time. We were truly well looked after and the quality of his tours were amazing. He and his team took particular care to ensure we went on outings at the right times to encounter marine wildlife we wished to see and his extensive knowledge of marine life and the Maldives was interesting and impressive.
Thank you so much to restaurant supervisor Adikari and his restaurant team, who were always friendly, willing to accommodate any requests, and overall provided an excellent standard of service every day - whether it be breakfast, dinner, or room service. Hassan was welcoming and warm, always with a smile and brilliant service. Bikas, too, was attentive, kind and generally they were just superb and really made us feel like valued guests.
All in all, this hotel made our August Maldives trip the greatest holiday.

Номера настолько убитые, что это не тянет ни на цену ни на звезды, тут нужно понимать что есть место гораздо лучше на острове за гораздо меньшую стоимость. Завтраки готовят по меню, приходилось ждать по 20 мин. К концу заселения сказали про зеленый налог, о котором не было речи изначально, итого +150$ к концу заезда

Hassan was very helpful at the pool and the food was really good and reasonably priced for maldives.
Pick the right time to visit the island , I had terrible weather for 5 days .
The one thing I could recommend for the hotel to improve is the water pressure in the showers, especially for the higher floors, but it's definitely manageable .

Reviewed Mar 23, 2025Nothing compares to Swarn by Hawks on the Kamadhoo island. It’s primary location right by the bay, modern design, highest comfort, top service, all make it an increadibly appealing choice. Our super clean specious penthouse on top floor was a truly luxurious environment, worth every penny, offereing amazing views over entire island and the ocean. From the terrace we could actually see fish entering the bay.
Food was delicious, with proper variety, light and simple, yet exotic. We were never prompted to go for additional a la carte choice, as regular offerings were good enough.
Beach is close, and it’s what you would expect in Maledives. There were also some optional tours to other locations in nearby atolls.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Many thanks to hotel manager Ramin and his associates Birbal, Bikash, Sarfraz, and Firog. We felt pumpered and taken care off.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2025The location, right on the harbour and amazing view from our balcony. Clean rooms. Private airport transfers ($100 USD each-way) were very efficient. Room was cleaned to a high standard each day, with fresh glass water bottles replenished and fresh beach towels too. Milk and tea bags available from reception. Snorkelling equipment available to borrow from reception (critical to making the most of the wonderful house reef off the bikini beach at the other end of Kamadhoo island (0.5km walk away). A great value way to stay in the Maldives. No alcohol on island as it’s public. Good choice (c. 6) of simple restaurants (c. $20-40 USD pp for evening meal). Choose a balcony room as these face the harbour, you won’t regret it for variety and views!
The hotel needs a little off-season maintenance. Air conditioning not working in our first room but staff did change us on day two to an equivalent room. Durning heavy rain storm various hotel windows leaked and the sight of beach towels mopping up water was common. This said, it did not adversely impact our stay.

To begin with, the communication was seamless, I could ask any question here in the chat and get a prompt answer. The transfer was arranged quickly and was very convenient. Upon arrival, we were met with refreshment drinks and got to our room in under 3 minutes, which was great!
The staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Special thanks to Ravin, Bikash, and Firoj 🙌🏼
Although the food was very good, the choice is not much varied - but again, you wouldn’t expect more for this price/quality ratio. We also had a problem with our air conditioning, but we were quickly given a new room with a working one. The shower drainage needs a bit more maintenance, but overall, those things pale in comparison with all the benefits we had at this location 🙌🏼
It's been amazing. The room was great with amazing views wow. Dedicated staff indeed who all work very hard. Cindy and Rifa ( the dolphin man ☺️) amazing and very friendly people. We learnt a lot from you guys. Hassan very humble and really works hard, the chef makes lovely food indeed, the guy who massages is amazing sorry I forgot names, another lady who is sometimes at reception sometimes serving food and drinks was excellent too, clothes were washed to standard, cleaners were good too. All staff really really amazing and we appreciate yo good service to us. All helping My Prince to plan my surprise engagement 💍, wow 👌. You all work hard nomatter what or when. Always available to help. We didn't want to say goodbye. It was amazing days with you. Everyone was so welcoming 🙏🏻. We never felt lost. And for that would like to say thank you ever so much. The hotel owner and the wife really lovely people who took care of us even after we left., taking us around Maldives, feeding us and all. We enjoyed a lot and we miss the boys 👦

Reviewed Feb 24, 2025this is an amazing property the staff are amazing and very caring and accommodating. the island is great and there are many different excursions you can go on. it is very safe and all the local people on the island are sooo welcoming there is a mosque which is a 5min walk from the hotel. we had the penthouse room and it was amazing they decorated the room for us aswel and the views were amazing

Reviewed Feb 11, 2025Considering that the Maldives is highly oriented towards resort experiences it is nice to find an alternative to this which allows you a bit more of a "local" experience. The hotel is located near the harbour though the island is so small that you can walk around it in about twenty minutes. The views from the rooms are exceptional. Admittedly, the ones that don't have a balcony have the view of the ocean. The balcony-ones face the port/town and get quite a bit of sun so these rooms tend to be warmer. We stayed in a non-balcony one for two nights and were then shifted to one with a balcony so got to enjoy both. Breakfast is a simple affair but decent, WIFI is good, services is kind and helpful. We didn't do any tours so can't comment on that but there's definitely lots on offer. The beach is mere minutes walking away. Quiet and beautiful.
The journey to the island is likely by speedboat (there are also flights but those are quite expensive). On paper it is a two hour journey but it took us three both ways. On the way in there was an issue with the engine, on our return we had to stop a few times to allow passengers to use the toilet. It can be quite a wild journey... If you get sea-sick easily this might be worth considering. Also note that there is no alcohol on the island.

The island seems under construction, every step we see a lot of co workers and materials of buildings.
The staff were all very accommodating and happily entertained the bespoke requests that I had made regarding a handful of day excursions. In particular Shismita and Sfroz in the restaurant, Mahesh, Cindy at the front desk and Rifa who managed/guided the excursions out to the reefs.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2024Everything. It was clean. It was well located for mostly everyone to get an amazing sea view in the panoramic view windows. I wish it had more indoor communal seating. Like at the reception a sofa or something so if people weren’t eating they can sit there rather than sitting in the dining area with the diners. Or sitting outside by the pool. It doesn’t change my amazing experience, just an idea for more improvement.
They made everything work, whatever you’d ask they made it work. I’ve never experienced more hardworking hotel staff.
