Amazing resort, great house reef for snorkeling ! Great staff and amazing service Special thanks to the amazing Kiki that let us feel at home - thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏
We stayed as a family 9 days during spring break at the island resort. From arrival/departure at Male, transfers and the whole stay we enjoyed an all time perfect, professional and very private and personal service from the whole staff. At the restaurants from all, at the dive center, at the villa by Amin and by Kiki, the villas manager. After multiple Maldives visits, a highlight in all resort areas. Thank you to the whole team from us and we will come back for sure!
This was our 6th visit to this beautiful island but first time since the refurbishment. They have done a spectacular job. The infinity pool is to die for. The food was absolutely fantastic. As for the staff.. what can I say ? They are so helpful and do everything with a smile on their faces and they are not forced smiles either. The restaurant staff are there when you need them but not in your face. Then there is Kiki, a wonderful woman who will go completely out of her way to be at your service. I cannot say enough about this woman who is a real asset to the island.
We visited the hotel for 10 nights and enjoyed every minute. Great place, great staff and a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere
A Truly Paradise-Like Stay at Reethi Resort We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Reethi Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It truly felt like being in paradise. A special mention goes to Anik for the spotless and beautifully maintained room—it made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. We would also like to thank Reefa for the exceptionally kind and pleasant service, which added a very personal and memorable touch to our experience. Everything about our stay was simply perfect, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. We will definitely be coming back!
I really liked the hotel, the stay was very decent. Especially the wonderful girl Diana💫 stood out with her kindness—it was a real pleasure talking to her. She told me everything about the hotel and the islands, and my impression remained entirely positive.
My family and I have had an amazing holiday experience. All the staff have been great with the level of hospitality and service being simply outstanding. Cartoon was particularly brilliant. Having our drinks ready at each meal, knowing what we want at each meal. Our room was cleaned and prepared for bed so exquisitely by Amin each day. The island is so beautiful and the plants and trees are looked after by some awesome gardeners. Snorkelling on the house reef is the best I’ve ever known in the Maldives. Turtles, and a huge array of fish just metres from the beach with an awe inspiring drop off. Can’t fault anything. Huge credit to the hotel staff for organising an emergency transport for my son after he hurt his ear drum. There was someone waiting for us at every step of the journey it was seamless.
Absolute paradise! I’ve always thought the photos you see of the Maldives with the turquoise sea & white sands were filtered… they are not! It’s real! We searched for an island that was smaller, quieter, we wanted somewhere that was going to feel like a desert island… NH Reethi did not disappoint… our 1st time in the Maldives was absolute perfection! The staff especially Kiki & Babba were exceptional, available to help 24/7… NH Reethi whatever you’re paying these guys is not enough! They go above and beyond! Not over the top in your face pestering you…just the perfect balance of friendliness & professionalism. Also the lady who cleans the rooms..this woman is a diamond!! The food was exceptional, we were half board & it was perfect for us as we don’t drink & 2 meals a day was more than sufficient in the heat! The food in the main restaurant is buffet style, themed nights too, for eg. Italian night/ Maldivian/ Asian, we also ate in the Asian restaurant Kaiyo which was beautiful! We snorkelled & the house reef is fantastic, my husband dived & he loved it. We stayed in an over water bungalow, it was stunning! Had black tip reef sharks, turtles & rays swimming passed daily! I could not fault anything from the island, food, accommodation & staff… 5 stars all round from us! 10000000000000% recommend!
The staff at Reethi Beach Resort is very friendly, attentive and helpful. You always feel welcome and well looked after. We especially noticed the waiter Majid who was very friendly and helpful and gave us the most beautiful souvenir. Also the music was great and played by very friendly and sympathetic people. Overall a top stay with great service
An incredible experience, the hotel is wonderful. We would like to highlight Melly, a waitress in the restaurant, who always attended us with a beautiful smile and exceptional service. She is truly lovely!
We have just returned from a truly magical trip to the Maldives, staying at NH Collection Reethi, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more joyful and peaceful experience in such breathtaking surroundings. The resort has recently been refurbished, with a new team in place since last year, and everything felt spotlessly clean, well thought out, and beautifully maintained. From the moment we landed in Malé, the level of service and care was exceptional. We were greeted on arrival, assisted with seaplane check-in, and then escorted to a private VIP lounge where we could relax with drinks and snacks while watching the seaplanes come and go, a perfect start to the holiday. After a 30-minute seaplane flight and a short speedboat ride, we arrived at the resort and were warmly welcomed by the team, including our wonderful hostess, Kiki. Kiki was simply fantastic, attentive, kind, friendly, and professional. She was always just a message away, helping with dinner reservations, excursions, and anything else we needed throughout our stay. We stayed in a water villa, which we would highly recommend. It was beautifully decorated, comfy bed, and had a terrace opening directly onto the sea. Every evening we had reef sharks, a nurse shark, and even a turtle swimming by! We snorkelled on the house reef, merely stepping from our villa into the sea, no boat trip required. It was an absolute highlight, with tropical fish right from the shoreline! A quick tip: bring or wear a rash suit if you plan to snorkel for extended periods to avoid a burnt back! Our stay included a dolphin cruise and a spa treatment, both super experiences. The dolphin cruise was magical with lots of sightings, some just alongside the boat! And at the spa, which was beautiful, I had a massage with Omi, who was excellent and it was very relaxing. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included meals at the main restaurant, Jumla, as well as access to the two à la carte restaurant's set menus. The food throughout was plentiful and consistently very good, with themed evenings and plenty of variety. It was also a treat to be able to dine multiple times at the à la carte venues. The island itself is stunning, soft sandy pathways wind through lush landscaping, softly lit in the evenings to create a magical atmosphere. The infinity pool overlooking the beach is warm and shallow, and the sunset bar was great for a cocktail on the comfy loungers. We also loved relaxing on the beach near our water villa, with easy access to drinks from the bar mere steps away, it really was paradise. What truly makes this resort special, are the people. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The team were always present when needed, yet never intrusive. Their warmth, friendliness, and professionalism made all the difference. A special thank you goes to the wonderful Kiki, our host, and the lovely ladies and gents in the restaurants, you know who you are when I say Hello from Miss Sarah and Mr Paul! Karuna, Sneha, Bharati, WinLai (who made all our meals such a joy), Shahid, and Gaurang, you all made us feel so welcome and I was especially touched by the efforts made for my Birthday. Also, a big thank you to the chef who kindly tried to teach me to make a more professional looking omelette and to Jimmy the chef for the encouragement, I’m still practising at home! We’re also very grateful to Wathana, who cleaned our villa beautifully every day and added such thoughtful touches, including lovely towel arrangements and Birthday palm leaf messages on the bed, Khàwp khun khâ! Thank you as well to Guili at the dive centre for organising an incredible turtle snorkelling trip, and to Rose, the lovely yoga instructor, who took the time to offer helpful advice for classes back home. Apologies if we have missed anyone, every single person we encountered was so friendly, polite, and welcoming and really did make our holiday so special.
Our stay at NH Reethi was nothing short of perfect. The island is beautiful, tranquil and secluded. The water is crystal-clear and full of marine life (the house reef is one of the best we have seen), the beach is idyllic and calm, and the hotel blends into the island in an authentic and charming way. Getting to the island is fun and exciting - a short sea-plane ride of around 35 mins to the hotel’s pontoon. There, you’re picked up by the hotel’s shuttle boat who bring you ashore in just a couple of minutes. We were taken to our beautifully designed beach villa with outstanding views of the beach and sea (both of which were no more than a few steps away). The rooms are very well designed (with a lovely outdoor bathroom) and kept immaculately by the great housekeeping team. The staff at NH Reethi are excellent - courteous, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. We were always greeted with friendly smiles and any issues were resolved seamlessly and quickly. Kiki does a great job as client liaison/manager - she went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. Ibrahim, Majid and Reefa were kind and attentive at meal times. A special shout-out must go to the cook running the omelette/egg station at breakfast and the cook manning the evening ‘special’ dishes station! The rest of the hotel’s facilities are all excellent - the gym, spa, sports courts and dive centre were top-notch. NH Reethi was the perfect destination for our first trip to the Maldives and we hope to return soon. Very impressive!
We had such a beautiful and emotional stay at Reethi Resort, and it’s a place we will always remember. We took the seaplane from Male Airport to the island, which I highly recommend . It was fast and the views were breathtaking. From the first moment, the island felt like a dream. The water is so clear, the sand is soft and white, and everything is surrounded by nature. We stayed in a Sunset Beach villa with a pool which was just perfect. The view to the sunset was something just stunning. The room was very comfortable and always clean, and we absolutely loved the open-roof shower—it made us feel so connected to the island. Food was really delicious. The buffet restaurant has a very good variety of dished with themed dinners every night and the food is just delicious. We also tried two a la carte restaurants: the Grill and the Asian, and both were amazing—everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. The massage is also something you should not miss at this resort. The therapist was incredibly good. There are four bars around the island, and we loved that we could always find a nice spot to enjoy a drink. Our favorite place was the beach lounge with the infinity pool—it has such a calm and beautiful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and just enjoying the moment. Snorkeling was another highlight for us. The reef is so close to the beach, and the underwater world is full of life and color. But what made this place truly special for us was the people. The staff are simply amazing—so kind, warm, and genuine. They made us feel so welcome and cared for, without ever being too much. It honestly felt like we were staying with a big family who really wanted us to feel happy. This is something very rare and very special. We left with full hearts and so many beautiful memories. We will definitely come back. Thank you Reethy Family for making our stay an unforgettable one.
Staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming.House reef is one of the best. newly renovated resort, so rooms are very good. Multiple restaurant in the islands which gives more options for dining. Pool bar is really good, try the mojito with real passion fruit it’s really awesome. Night sky is amazing with the low light pollution. Don’t miss the Sunset, it’s really beautiful.
From a thousands of islands in Maledives we choose well! NH Collection was a dream from start to finish! Everybody went above and beyond to make our first visit extra special and memorable. I can’t even mention all the names as it would be a very long list but I’d like to say a very special thank you to Kiki, who took care of us the whole time. We had the beach sunset room and it was so beautiful. Clean and beautifully refurbished. The island itself was very relaxed and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. It has its own house reef which was and absolute plus! We saw a different world under the water. The food … an absolute bliss! We had a different quisine every night and everything was very thought throung and so yummy! People say there is not much to do in Maledives, but honesly if you want there are auite a lot of things to do. Spa, sport, water excursions, life music, outdoor cinema etc. We are already dreaming about our next visit! Thank you team for making our holiday extra special! Kristyna & Radek
Spiaggia bella.
Very clean, a lot of things to do on the island and beautiful beaches, atmosphere was perfect, the staff were the nicest we have ever come across and they really stood out!

A Humbling and Unforgettable Stay at Reethi Beach – Paradise in Every Way My wife and I recently stayed at Reethi Beach Resort and chose it primarily for its renowned house reef and natural, unspoiled beauty. We were looking for an island that offered that authentic Maldivian feel—lush greenery, white sand beaches, and great snorkeling right off the beach. Although the resort is slightly dated, the abundance of glowing reviews and the number of repeat guests reassured me that we were making the right choice. And I’m so glad we did. It truly is paradise. The Island & House Reef The island itself is mature and simply stunning. The vegetation is lush and provides a real sense of seclusion and peace. One of the highlights for us was the house reef, which is recovering beautifully. There’s an absolute “fish soup” out there—thousands of fish of every color and shape. We snorkeled daily and were lucky enough to spot turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, and even a majestic manta ray gliding by. The reef is very accessible, with multiple entry points and calm water that makes for a relaxing snorkel experience. It’s one of the best we’ve seen. Accommodation We began our stay in one of the overwater villas, which was a wonderful experience—waking up above the lagoon, with direct access to the sea and those serene ocean views, was truly special. Midway through our holiday, a renovated Deluxe Beach Villa with a private pool became available, and we were kindly offered the opportunity to move. We gladly accepted, and the room was absolutely stunning. The villa was spacious, beautifully finished, and felt fresh and modern while still fitting the natural style of the island. The private pool was a real treat—perfect for a refreshing dip at any time of day, and a peaceful alternative to the sea. While the ocean was mostly calm and gentle, there were a few times when it became a little choppy for my wife, so having the private pool made all the difference. It was a lovely way to unwind and enjoy the surroundings in total privacy. Food & Dining We opted for the All-Inclusive Premium package, which gave us access to the à la carte restaurants. It was absolutely worth it. The food was consistently excellent, particularly the authentic Indian and Maldivian dishes. Every meal felt special, and the ingredients tasted fresh and vibrant. The service was equally exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. We also dined a couple of times at the main buffet restaurant, which had a good variety and quality for a buffet. Every dining experience felt relaxed, unrushed, and high quality. The Heart of the Island – The Staff What truly sets Reethi Beach apart, and what we will carry with us forever, is the people. The staff are the soul of this island. From the moment you arrive, you’re not just a guest—they make you feel like part of something greater. It’s their warmth, sincerity, and attention to detail that create the unforgettable memories you take home. Every smile, every conversation, every kind gesture adds something meaningful to the experience. It’s easy to be impressed by crystal-clear water and white sand, but it’s the staff who make you feel like you belong in paradise. Whether it’s the gardeners who stop to explain the local flora, the servers who remember your favorite drink, or the chefs who go the extra mile to prepare a special dish—these are the things you remember long after the holiday ends. Special mention must go to Reefa, whose service was simply outstanding—genuinely caring, attentive, and always with a smile. Amit and Mohammed were equally fantastic, and the gentleman from India who worked alongside Reefa—who’s been at the resort for over ten years—was another shining example of the dedication and heart that defines Reethi Beach. The Closing Party – A Privilege to Witness One of the most meaningful moments of our stay was being invited to the staff’s closing party. With the resort set to close for renovations, the event was a heartfelt celebration to thank the team for their dedication. It was hosted in the main bar and attended by both staff and guests—a simple but powerful act that demonstrated the deep respect the resort holds for its team. Some staff had worked on the island for over 27 years. That says everything. Watching them dance and be honoured for their years of service was incredibly moving. I believe including guests in this celebration sent a powerful message: that the staff are not just here to serve, but are recognised as truly special individuals who bring the island to life. It made us, as guests, feel honoured to celebrate them—to acknowledge that they are the heart and soul of Reethi Beach, and the reason the experience feels magical. During the event, management also shared proposed renovation plans. It was reassuring to see that while the resort will be updated and modernized, they are committed to preserving the natural, Maldivian character of the island. They emphasized that the mature, lush environment is what sets Reethi Beach apart from newer, more sterile resorts—and we couldn’t agree more. Final Thoughts Reethi Beach was everything we hoped for and more. Though the resort is now closed for renovation (which it was ready for), it in no way affected our holiday. In fact, it felt more intimate and personal than we could have imagined. We are already looking forward to returning once it reopens and can only hope the magic of the staff and the soul of the island remains just as it was. We look forward to returning after the renovation and staying in a beach villa with a pool.
Had an amazing time The snorkelling is spectacular 😘 Turtles, black tip reef sharks, moray eels and thousands of marine fish Food was also excellent Big thank you to bar staff Faroo & Amit for their superb service, second to none Hopefully return visit soon
My Partner and I visited Reethi Beach for 8 nights and what an experience. We stayed in a water villa and it was breath-taking!! To sit and watch the sharks, fish & turtles swim by every morning, noon & night was amazing. The Villa itself was very comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed! The staff cleaned twice a day and replaced towels, water and fizzy drinks when needed. The water villas have their own sun beds on the beach so there's always plenty of room to sunbathe and relax. A HUGE shout out to Ali!!!! We were both a little scared of the sharks but Ali took us out of our comfort zone and we saw some amazing Sealife including sharks and turtles. Thank you again Ali for an amazing experience and you taught us a lot. The food was great in all restaurants and plenty of options in the buffet for Breakfast, Lunch & Tea. They had different nights including curry night, Italian, French and Spanish - all delicious! On our last night we enjoyed a Lobster 5 course meal in the Saima Garden, it was a little pricey but well worth it if you love Lobster. Another shoutout to Mohamed in the main bar - He made us feel extremely welcome and also made sure our drinks were topped up. Plenty of Pina Coladas on tap! We went all inclusive which was definitely worth it if you like to enjoy a few drinks during the day / night. We miss you Mohamed. Gurung was also very helpful and made sure we were always enjoying ourselves. You will not regret booking this hotel. It is one to remember!
Tutto! L'accesso in acqua molto bello.
We were staying as a couple in an overwater villa and had a great stay overall. The atoll is small but beautiful. The staff and the food (some of which grown on the atoll) were superb. Particularly Rubel who was always attentive and caring. A few excursions are available from the dive centre. It is a relaxing resort suitable for those looking to unplug from work and the city life.
Today is our last day at Reethi Beach. We have spent here 10 days and it was very nice and relaxing! We stayed at Sunset Villa 148, just in front of the local reef, where I have spent most of the day snorkelling. There are a lot of various and colourful fishes, sometimes I saw small sharks and couple of times met turtle. Island is very green and Garden is taken care of daily ( thanks to Shafiqul !). Very special thanks to the Restaurant team! Excellent food and very friendly service. They prepared nice Easter dinner decorated with painted eggs and served with fresh oysters! Special thanks to Majid, Arun, Rana and the rest of the team! Resort will be closed for renovation in May and reopened in December. I am sure that after renovation it will be even better and I look forward to return here next year!
The perfect vacation ! We had a wonderful week with the family. The island is wonderful for diving and snorkeling where you can see thousands of ocean creatures underwater just less than 100 meters from your bungalow. Not to mention the food, it's simply superb ! And the hotel staff are incredibly kind and helpful people. A place we are in love with and will visit again !
We had the most incredible holiday at Reethi! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to stay in a water villa, which was simply breathtaking. While the resort is due for a refurbishment at the end of this month and could use a bit of TLC in places, it honestly didn’t affect our experience at all. The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If you’re looking to escape to a stunning, natural island, this is the place to be. The snorkelling on the house reef was out of this world—we’ve never seen such a vibrant array of marine life. We’ve visited other islands in the Maldives and always enjoyed ourselves, but Reethi has a unique charm that truly sets it apart. The atmosphere is wonderfully tranquil and rustic, and the staff are some of the friendliest and happiest we’ve ever met. Huge thanks to Kokki, Uelly, Mohammed, Alex, and the entire Reethi team for making this such a memorable trip. We’ll definitely be returning!. Thank you!
My travel companion and I, we spent nine days at the Reethi Beach Resort. We stayed at the Deluxe Sunset Villas, all-inclusive option. To cut the long story short: our holiday couldn't have been better. It started with the communication with the reservations supervisor Ms Suhasini Chemburkar via email. She provided me with prompt and kind answers. She also did her very best to allocate us in two neighbouring villas on a beautiful location near the Sunset Bar – out of her genuine attention for the wellbeing of the guests and not because I asked for any special treatment. Thank you very much, dear Suhasini! And a big thank you to all the staff who went out of their way to make all of the guests feel welcome and happy. We didn’t experience a single negative thing. The staff always genuinely kind and helpful – the waiters (I only remember one name: Faloo) and I’m sorry I wasn’t noting down more names since they all were doing their jobs great and with joy and care. The restaurant staff – excellent. The food in the main restaurant had a taste of excellent, honest cooking of great chefs who knew how to make every dish taste full and different from the others. Thank you to the cleaning staff and to the gardeners and other staff who took care of this little tropical paradise – the lush greenery and the white sandy beach and many more things. The house reef was more than enough for me, the beginner. Even I saw the abundance of many different colourful fish species. Beautiful. The hotel is closing down for renovation until Christmas. Of course, it will get a more modern look and one star more. Yet I can only hope it will preserve its laidback barefoot charm and the kind of luxury for ordinary people who seek peace, simplicity and the beauty of the tropics.
Our 11th visit to the Maldives and our 5th to Reethi Beach. It's the only island we have ever returned to which indicates how much we love it. It's a perfect size with a relaxed atmosphere and a great house reef. Our room (155) was on the sunset side of the island. Very comfortable bed , good shower and everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The dark wood in the room had been painted in pale colours , maybe as a trial for the refurbishment, but was marked in places e.g. tea/coffee cup rings which , if I'm being picky, didn't look great . We were on AI so mainly used the main buffet restaurant. We were well looked after by Bhaskari , Ibbe and Arun who worked incredibly hard. There was plenty of choice at each meal and a great egg station at breakfast. We also ate once in the Grill and had a returners dinner in Saima Garden . It made a nice change to be served but couldn't really fault the food in the buffet. Our only negative was that we preferred to eat after 8pm and so it was often 8.15pm before we were seated with our drinks but the buffet clearing seemed to start well before 9pm. This felt a bit rushed given that dinner was 7-9pm. Thank you to Alex at the Handhuvaru Bar for our lunchtime beers , enjoyed with a game of cards and to Faloo for his humour at the main bar. Every member of staff deserves a shout out as you were all friendly and attentive but too many names to remember. The GM was often in the restaurant in the evening which was a welcome touch. Despite a couple of minor negatives, Reethi Beach is still our favourite island and here's hoping that the refurbishment doesn't change what we, and others, love about it. We will hopefully return.
This was our 5th trip to maldives . Unfortunately, for this one , overall experience was not as expected. Positive: The staff is very nice and friendly. Very beautiful reef full of marine life . Nice scooba diving experience. Maybe the only one worth doing activity in the resort. The food is nice . Negative: Water villas are old . TV is not working, and there is no wifi. At night, the balcony becomes full of cockroaches. The main restaurant is far from water villas, and there is no means of transportation ( golf car , bicycle) . There are a lot of flies around the salad buffet . Other restaurants are not included in the package and are chargeable. Unlike many other resorts in maldives, snorkeling equipment is not free . We had a bad experience with canoe rental . After 5 min of use , we asked to change one of the canoes .They refused and wanted to charge us an extra one. Not very professional.
Our 9 days in Paradise were A W E S O M E !!! We are speechless about this beauty and all those heartbreath-taking moments! Snorkeling ist swimming in an aquarium of extraordinary colours. Thanks to EVERYONE who works on this wonderful island!
Amazing house reef and beach, friendly employees, good quality and diversity of meal at the buffet. Don’t take sunrise villas because dilapidated and noisy ( old air con, and bad side of island in front of boats and seaplanes dock). Extras too expensives (massages, restaurants and beach diners, dive center,…)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort on the island in the Maldives. One of the aspects we appreciated most was the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed, providing a quiet and peaceful environment that allowed for complete relaxation. The dining experience was overall very good, although there is some room for improvement in terms of variety and refinement. That said, the service provided by the staff was truly outstanding. They were consistently professional, courteous, and attentive. We did not encounter a single issue during our stay — their dedication and hospitality were genuinely commendable.
What could be improved: Although the overall food quality was good and the meals were generally fresh and well-organized, we believe there is room for improvement. The variety of dishes could be greater to enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the quality of certain vegetables — especially cucumbers and tomatoes — did not meet the expected standard and should be improved.
A secret treasure in the beautiful Maldives. We chose the cabins on the beach which were nestled in amongst palm trees and flowering plants. Just outside our door was access to white sandy beach and a coral reef full of beautiful fishes. What fabulous snorkelling. The place was a haven of peace! The staff were happy and helpful, the design of the buildings were lovely. Everything was cared for and managed so efficiently. The food was delicious -we chose half board and there was great variety with every meal. (I especially loved the bread.) Halloween and Diwali dinner events while we were there were great fun. It’s a place I hope to return to.
It is a very cosy, full-of-nature island. There is a fantastic reef just by the shore, where you can walk barefoot all day long. The restaurant serves various cuisines on a daily basis. Our room attendant was Vikram, who prepared a nice surprise for our baby’s first birthday and, in general, took great care of our room.
Peaceful, lovely food excellent service and very pleasant staff - drinks and coffee served by Fallo in the bar next to the restaurant - always pre doted any request with a big smile. Chefs and restaurant staff out on a fabulous range if food with themed menus mist nights , catering for all tastes. The buys who watered the gardens and shrubs and swept the oaths of fallen leaves always paused with a smile and a cheery good morning - all these little touches made the holiday very memorable- will be back to see the new updated Reethi Beach Resort
It's a beautiful tucked away paradise. We loved our stay at the Beach villa and Water villas. Excellent cleanliness, good meal variety/themes at their buffet restaurant, and excellent drinks at their multiple bars. *Let Downs*: > Receptionists can be more welcoming and accomodating. We did not get a good vibe from them every time we reached out for support. They were rude and racist towards us, and gave preferential treatment to some other nationalities. For the first impression, this was plain bad. > All inclusive package has too many T&Cs, and feels pretty unfair. It's confusing and they too billed us accidentally for activities that were already a part of our all-inclusive deal. > Internet in rooms is only available at an extra charge; that is plain absurd. > Food at Moodhu Bar was pretty disappointing for the extra price we paid. *Special Mentions*: Hospitality by Faloo and Nishad at the main bar, Sandeep and Meghana at the sunset bar, Jay Panda at the buffet, Iqbal and Mel at the Diving center, and few others at the buffet restaurant. Thank you for making our stay worthwhile with your warm hospitality.
We absolutely loved our stay at Reethi. Arrived by seaplane and blown away by the clear blue waters and white sand. Only 600m long but we found plenty to do: gym, table tennis, badminton, canoeing plus of course excellent snorkelling. Activity highlight was the dolphin cruise - amazing to see these creatures so close! We were on full board package so ate all our meals in the main restaurant. Huge choice (buffet plus action stations) and excellent quality for every meal - an absolute treat. We stayed in the water villas - iconic position and stunning views. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, though perhaps in need of a bit of updating ( refurbishment starts soon we understand) What really made the stay were the fantastic staff (across the board) but especially Ibbe and Baskavari in the restaurant who looked after us so well, and Sandeep at the Sunset Bar (his cocktails not to be missed as the sun goes down). A wonderful introduction to the beautiful Maldives.
My overall impressions of Reethi Beach Resort are very good. The place is wonderful, the nature is beautiful, it is very clean and well-groomed. The staff is very kind and smiling. Most visitors are elderly, calm people. Regarding the food - there is a great variety, everything is fresh. The food is quite influenced by Indian cuisine and is specific. There are fresh fruits and juices. I give a lower rating for the food because I have gastritis and Indian cuisine is too spicy and hot for people like me. There should be more European food. The restaurant opens exactly at the described hours. They clean the room every day and change the towels. I have a few comments about the hotel. We had paid full board, not all inclusive, and we had to pay for water at lunch and dinner, which is $3. I think this should be saved. I was offended by buying a piece of jewelry in the souvenir shop on the island. There was a sign that the necklace was made of silver, as the seller confirmed. I bought the necklace for $70, but an airport employee pointed out to me that it was not silver, there was no 925 stamp and it was just an imitation. You can check that there is such a sign in the shop, and the jewelry is not silver, due to the high price. My other remark is related to the too early check out. Instead of 12:00 as is the usual practice in hotels, the staff took our luggage at 10:15 and we left for the airport at 11:15. Considering that the airport in Dharavandhoo is very small, waiting 2 hours is unnecessary. They should also have given us 1 small bottle of water for the journey, after all the temperature is over 30 degrees. For this high price per night I think that tourists should not be skimping on water!
Enjoy the amazing blue water. Swim with the countless, colourful fish in the reef. Enjoy great food and nice cool drinks in the evenings. Stroll through the gardens and see where most of your sales are grown. Take an easy snorkelling trip and swim with the sharks and rays. In a word… relax.
Reethi Beach Resort truly presents the Maldives paradise as it should be. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you really feel that they care about you. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Deluxe Sunset Villa, and I believe it's the best type of accommodation at the resort. Special thanks to Sandeep, the bartender at the Sunset Bar — the cocktails were absolutely amazing. The price isn’t low, but you definitely understand what you’re paying for. The food was great every day, with a different country-themed dinner each night — Italian, African, and more. I truly hope to come back to Reethi next year.
The staff were all fantastic as well as being attentive. The food was varied, and the breakfast omlettes were delicious. The snorkelling was amazing.
Only being allowed to sit at certain parts of the beach on the relaxers without numbers. Our minibar was never topped up.
Sehr netter Service, aufmerksam
If you are planning for honeymoon Maldives is the best for staycation...... I visited reethi beach resort and the villas were very good and so was the staff...... You can also go for couple photoshoot over there....... Would love to visit again....
A charming rustic resort in the Baa atoll. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Rajah and the team provide 5 star service, nothing is too much trouble , your every need is met with a smile. The food is excellent and so many choices available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they even serve afternoon tea! Stunning white sandy beaches and lush tropical gardens surrounded by crystal clear turquoise water. Walking around the island was a joyous experience every day. The house reef will not disappoint as it has so many fish and its own resident turtles. Reef sharks , nurse sharks and ray. The night snorkelling tour is reported as a must do experience but unfortunately we did not have enough time as out trip was a short one. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Relaxing, well spaced, restaurants with different vibes, well- thought out amenities
When I’m beach front, I enjoy sleeping with the door and windows open to hear the sound of waves. While I was able to leave the door open, the blackout curtain prevented airflow, and I didn’t want to run the aircon so I could hear the waves. Very minor - more a preference
Nichts
Amazing experience! Many available activities on the island and well maintained areas, we strongly appreciate all the different plants that sorrounds you while walking through the island. Great staff and kitchen, Vikram was our housekeeper, he is very nice and we were more than satisfied with the work he did. Thanks a lot.

We have recently returned from our fourth visit to Reethi Beach Resort and it definitely did not disappoint! As the resort is shortly to close for a refurb, we chose to have a 3 week holiday and we were so glad that we did. Everything was perfect! The food in the restaurants were superb - how they provide such beautiful and varied options every day in the buffet restaurant is absolutely amazing. The bars are happy/fun places to spend time and enjoy relaxing drinks meeting new people and making new friends from around the world. Without a doubt the stars of Reethi Beach are the staff. Every single one of them are amazing from the guys who clean up the leaves and those who clean the rooms, to the brilliant restaurant and bar staff. We thank them so much for their fun and perfect service - it made our holiday just wonderful! Special mention for Sandeep and the Sunset Bar staff - amazing fun, plus all of the team in the main bar (sorry too many names to mention individually) but we loved you all - you are all amazing! It was also great to spend some time getting to know Valentin the new GM - thank you so much for your time and great hospitality - it's much appreciated and we hope to meet you all again soon. Swimming on the reef with the amazing marine life is just the 'icing on the cake'! The beach is beautiful with powder white sand - everything you dream a paradise island to be and more. Many thanks to you all! Cheers - for now!
Niente
Super Essen, super Lage inklusive tollem Hausriff, engagiertes Personal
La tranquillità. Il reef pieno di pesci. Gentilezza dello staff. Pulizia. Spiaggia bellissima. Sostenibilità ambientale. Paesaggi mozzafiato. Serata fo san valentino organizzata in spiaggia.
Everything Staff at reception marvelous. Jet ski tour was brilliant. Room clear and cosy.
Excellent service, the all inclusive package had good cocktails, wine and beer included anf the food was diverse and well thought out for all three meals each day. The reef life is amazing we saw two different types of sharks, a manta ray, turtle and dolphin while snorkleling and stand uo paddle boarding. Service at the airport by thebhotel to collect us was outstanding also.

Isola bella, molto curata.
A very natural and characterful hideaway. Great house reef for snorkelers and fabulous catering throughout the three meal times. Staff are super nice and friendly. Dive station offers lots of trips out and a chance to swim with nurse and reef sharks!
A little dated in parts but that adds to the charm. A remodelling/upgrade plan for spring/summer 2025 aims to improve the water villas and other parts whilst keeping the natural charm and island contours.
We stayed at Water Villa for a week. We found the reef is really great. I myself saw one Manta Even it was not a Manta Ray Season and reef Sharks everyday. Drop off is not far from the House reef so Beautiful. Food buffet was Too good so I had 2 dishes every dinner. Also the ecological Setting was great for me, we Took sea plane it was Great.
Our Water Villa stairs to Water was Party Broken.
The resort boasts stunning natural features and exudes a barefoot vibe throughout. The coral reef is in exceptionally good condition, with a fascinating array of wildlife! The bars and restaurants are excellent as well, though the main restaurant is dominated by Indian flavors. An excellent choice for a quiet and peaceful retreat.
Excellent structure remained in the style of the old Maldives, but they also think of becoming a 5 star, too bad! a part of the island is now eroded by the sea, but this has its charm. Excellent restaurant and helpful and friendly staff, beautiful Deluxe Room
Perhaps more attention to the island, which is expensive due to a lot of plastic scattered around, and general order, would have made the island more welcoming, and in my opinion it remains very expensive compared to the competition. Hi Reethi
What a place! Reethi Beach Resort surpassed all our expectations. Our overwater villa was beautiful, and the house reef is incredible - even just snorkeling a few metres from the beach, we saw turtles, sharks, and countless fish. The food was excellent. The main buffet had plenty of variety and themed evenings, and there were always some fresh cooking stations. We also ate at Reethi Grill twice (delicious) and had lunch at Moodhu a few times, where we saw sharks and rays swimming below. Lastly, the staff were all lovely and very friendly. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic stay in the Maldives, where the marine life comes first and the WiFi comes last, this is the place for you. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff mentioned that the resort is being refurbished very soon, and I really hope it keeps its charm.
great experience for Christmas dinner
I need to pay for the wifi in the room
The Island itself was very nice, beautiful reef even if sadly the corals are mostly bleached but it was full of life. The personal was really kind and always wanted to make sure we enjoy our stay. The food in the main restaurant was nice and variable.
The facilities and buildings are not in the best shape. We booked the Water Villa and it was dirty and really not worth it at all. The staff later changed our villa to beach one and it was way better so I dont really recommend the Water Villa. I was as well not happy with the offer of all inclusive drinks or with bar at all. The included drinks were really terrible and if I had to choose next time I would do Full pension and just buy a drink which I wanted to have. For example Pina colada, mojito or other basic drinks (virgin verison of these drinks were not included either). I can understand not having Premium drinks in all inclusive but not the basic ones.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reethi Beach Resort. From the moment we landed on the island we felt very relaxed. It has a lovely atmosphere and feel to it. The staff in the restaurants and all around the island were always very friendly and attentive. We ate breakfast at the main restaurant and other meals at the smaller restaurants and the food was delicious everywhere. The breakfast buffet was the largest I have ever seen. The house reef was great - so many different types of fish. We saw a shark and a ray from our water villa. There were 3 of us staying in a water villa (my husband and I and our daughter) and the rooms were definitely spacious and well laid out for 3 people. We had plenty of drinking water each day and fresh clean towels. We did not pay extra for Wifi in the room as there are plenty of places around the island to access Wifi. We arranged a sea plane transfer and this worked so well. We barely had to wait at all once landing in Male to be transferred to Reethi Beach and the same on the way back. The seaplane transfer option definitely maximised our time on the island. I would definitely recommend Reethi Beach Resort.
Nothing. It was fantastic!
The kitchen was excellent and the staff very friendly; the bar was also excellent and the staff very friendly.
However, the General Manager, Valentin Osolos, is impersonal, interrupts conversations between guests and staff without apology, and prefers to check if every salad leaf is in perfect place. In my opinion, he is not suited for a 5-star establishment.
The beach and the food were amazing
The rest
Beach, friendly staff, great facilities.
Needs a refurb
Fantastica la doccia all'aperto.
House reef, dive centre, the food sometimes
Quite a lot… majority of staff are MISERABLE, all inclusive is rubbish with limited choice and have to pay extra for everything, they’ve even taken pina colada off menu for AI so we didn’t get value for money, the rooms were half cleaned, dirty cups left stains etc left didn’t even make bed properly, weird! We’ve stayed in many Maldives resorts and it did not feel 4 star! Had stomach bug whilst there which is rare for Maldives but tons of flies over food constantly, again not had it that bad at resort before. Worst thing was the reception lied and said our bags were with a guy coming round corner to room then we waited and waited called back, another person told us our bag was actually in male airport… so weird.
