Grand BS Airport Hotel Suvarnabhumi

The hotel is ideal for people flying in or out of suvarnabhumi airport, also a place to enjoy a nice stay outside the main city, the hotel is up a quiet alley way. The rooms are clean and well laid out with a balcony. Breakfast is great and food in the restaurant is lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Swimming pool is great for everyone, a lovely place to relax around the pool. I would stay here again and hopefully soon

This place seems to be recrntly refurbished, everything seems new or recently painted. Much improved on similar hotel on site used by me some years ago. Quick check in, helpful staff, good shower, good wifi. Simple breakfast but good. Nice swimming pool. Lots of food and shopping closeby. Room was clean and comfortable, however i could hear people in next room very clearly through locked connecting door. I was too tired for it to be a big problem.

This is a wonderful place to stay and I've already stayed here several times and enjoy it every single time. Close to the airport yet no noise from the airplanes.

There was a smell when we came in. Sink was dirty, shower broken with water coming out of the hose, towel hanger was also broken. Bed was not a queen just two twins together. Shuttle service was good. Was okay as a one night hotel before flight.

We had an unpleasant stay. There was no hot water so we had cold showers. The toilet was not cleaned with visible urine residue on the seat where it attaches. The bathroom smelt badly of stale urine. Food scraps and plates were left outside our door from previous guests from the time of check in until we left and because of the heat and humidity also smelt badly.

We used this hotel for one night as travelling back to the UK early. Good hotel for the price and free shuttle to the airport was brilliant. Would stay again.

The room was fairly clean the beds are horrible so hard then they on provide two pillows. The staff was not friendly I would not stay again.

They were refurbishing the rooms next door. Drilling from 8am till 5pm. Absolutely terrible service

Great convenient

I enjoyed this airport hotel. It has a lovely breakfast buffet and extensive menu for lunch and dinner (it might be time to replace the actual menus though - they look a little worse for wear). My hotel room was clean, spacious, and had a nice deck overlooking the pool. I would have loved a nightstand, but no big deal. If I were to need an airport hotel again flying through Bangkok, I would book a room here again.

Staff was rude. They would speak in Thai in front of guests assuming that they did not understand Thai. Will not return and would not recommend.

1. Almost directly under the heavy jets landing at BKK definate noise. 2. Breakfast expensive by Thai standards and CRAP by any other standards. 3. When I asked about taxi to downtown the desk was quick to assist, but when I got a metered taxi back to hotel I discovered the hotel had charged Three Times the Rate. 4. They have no laundry services. 5. No security preventing a street person from accessing your room door. 6.Only 2 power outlets in the room if you want to use a computer on the balcony you will need a 5 meter cord. 7. No microwave. 8. No real security on sliding balcony door, latch would easily unlock from outside. 9. Inadaquate walkway lighting with many tripping hazards. 10. Location so remote from attractions any thoughts on savings on room is eaten by transportation. Nothing within walking distance, or hikeing distance for that matter.

Staff was good but they didn’t advise on dinning within the property. I was a transit lodger as my flight was late same day. Shuttle bus was good even though the driver seemed like a learner !

Good price east check in

Arrived at the airport, had a little trouble finding the pickup counter. It's at level 2 between gate 3 and 4. I went outside but it's actually located inside the terminal. Many airport staff there to assist you. Tell them when is the grand BS shuttle arrival time, they would call and give you an estimate. Once the transfer arrive, one of the staffs will escort you to the shuttle. Would come stay again.

Never got a response back when I messaged the them about airport transfer. The day I checked in the lady who helped me wasn’t friendly.

Property was dirty and old, not accurate on the Expedia listing. One pool was under construction and closed. Staff was not helpful, food prices were too high for product offered. Mo manager on site. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. This was the worst property we stayed at during our 6 week trip.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. Floors so dirty feet turned black, shower I would not dare to use, old rotten food in fridge. AC could not keep up with open window in bathroom so hot sticky night. Very noisy from permanently open in bathroom letting in street noise. Very unsafe, anyone could walk up to the room directly from street. That street not being in the best location. DO NOT STAY HERE.

2nd time i come here, so convenient, after a long trip or better say flight from NYC, you don't want to get into a cab/ taxi and take a long ride to an hotel, this one is in reality less than 15 minutes away from the airport with i guess normal traffic, i will always come back,

The hotel is great, with fantastic swimming pool. But, there not much around the hotel. If that's all you need from the hotel is a good sleep, it's perfect.

Landed in BKK for a late night and had an early flight next morning. Receptionist had an attitude and when I asked her if there were any good areas for food nearby she rolled her eyes and said there is a 7/11 up the street - awesome thanks. Told her I'd do the 9:30am shuttle the following morning. Room was small but fine for what it was - there was a cockroach in the room. Slept fine and woke up and got a confirmation call the shuttle was at 9:30am so I rushed to get my stuff packed and get thru a quick breakfast. Didn't want to miss my shuttle so didn't really enjoy the breakfast. However when I went to the reception to be picked up at 9:30am - surprise the shuttle was full and I'd have to take the next one. Not the best experience overall but for a short stay near the airport (12-15 min ride) it is what it is.

On avait une nuit à cette hôtel, avec un bon service pour le transfert à l’aéroport. Le service de navette était excellent et à l’heure. Le service au resto a été juste correct, sans sourire et sans respect de notre difficulté à communiquer. J’ai reçu mon repas et je l’ai terminer, quand mon conjoint a reçu le sien.

If you’re looking for a place to stay close to the airport, this is a great hotel. We found the staff not so accommodating and probably not typical of other Thai people. There were great markets so that we could enjoy our last evenings of Thai food and we found a massage place that we could walk to. Locals are very nice and accommodating. The shuttle to the hotel was a blessing and was on time. Again a good place for anyone who might need to stay close to the airport.

The room was nice and clean. The walls were a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors as if they were in the room with us. The shower did not drain so we had to be careful not to flood the bathroom.

It was easy to take the shuttle from the international airport to the hotel and back. The rooms were clean and the staff was kind!

First time booked with them easy and loved will definitely go there again.

I stayed there one week in March 25 it is an excellent Hotel clean good restaurant good staff and the rooms were not big but big enough. Very good pool and quite close to the airport with a shuttle

Sheets were stained with what appeared to be body fluids and it took 4 attempts to change them before “semi-clean” ones arrived. other guests arrived by taxi and openly ordered prostitutes with taxi driver (girls on “menu” so I assume it’s okay to bring these girls into the hotel - sink leaking all over the floor - plastic mattress (never saw that before) and yes, there’s airplane noise but what about the marine bar booming into the rooms! Terrible terrible hotel and I did try to change rooms but apparently none available. One lock in the door and no safety lock despite anyone having access from outside as it’s more like a motel than a hotel! STAY AWAY

We booked this hotel as it was close to BKK and after along flight from London we just wanted to get to a hotel quickly, which we did. The rooms and pool are good, there is a 7eleven near by, our evening meal was good but breakfast was a bit limited. I would definately stay here again if I was after a hotel near to the airport.

Nice enough rooms, comfy beds and good AC. We didn't have breakfast nor use the free shuttle to the airport (as it runs on the hour and we wanted to go half past). Lobby full of other guests suitcases so bit hectic.

It was impossible to get ahold of them for weeks leading up to our arrival to schedule the airport pick up so ended up having to taxi it anyways. Transfer on return was fine. Beds are hard, rooms are ok. Pool is nice.

if you plan to stay overnight in this airport, don’t expect to sleep. It is so noisy. You hear everything. People yelling and sounds like they’re partying coming home at all hours of the night. I will say the staff was very kind and respectful.

Shuttle from the airport took a bit..but it did eventually come for us. Hotel room is a bit run down..with lots of damage around ceiling area. Bed was comfy.

Great for a quick layover. Got some good sleep and could get back to the airport.

Land of smiles…. They didn’t get the memo at this hotel!! Staff are rude, unhelpful & just plain miserable. Not sure what their problem is but unlike all the other places I visited in Thailand in 2 months this place was the worst.

It was close to the airport and the pool was nice and it had a very local vibe being in the neighborhood. I do have to say that the communication about catching the shuttle from the airport to the property was terrible ie non existent

Staff didn’t even attempt to communicate with us, not a word even while we ordered food. Sadly, our last meal, last day of our 6 week vacation was very poor. We were awaken at all hrs due to much noise in the hallways. Bed was a boxspring. Pool was good if you could put up with the burning garbage stench.

Very basic. Okay, for a one night stay before going to the airport but I wouldn't recommend otherwise. The saving grace was that the room was clean and staff very pleasant. Swimming pool was okay too. Very basic dining area and basic breakfast. Close to the road and airport so some noise. Nothing to do in the vacinity, other than visit a market and not a very salubrious area.

The shuttle bus to the airport was super convenient. The location was close to the airport as well as markets for street food. We also enjoyed food & beverages at the hotel. The pool was clean.

Apparently they charge by the hour, gross, but they did not offer to refund any money to me- we were there only four hours before we left to catch our flights.

Non existant service. Rude, unhelpful staff. Small room was full of mosquitoes and the bathroom had a broken towel rack, vanity and shower head. We asked for an extra blanket..(bed is like a rock) and towel and not only was it refused, staff was very rude about it. Dirty all around the property. Plus side is there is a market close by and it's close to airport, but there are much better choices out there. Overall, the worst place I've stayed in all of Thailand

All of the negative reviews were spot on. I trusted some good reviews, but after staying, I don’t know how or why they left a good review. 1) the beds are extremely, extremely hard. It literally felt like laying down on a wooden board, or the floor. Most people stay here for a good sleep before/between flights, but it will be an extremely uncomfortable sleep. They only give you 2 pillows - after calling the front desk and asking for more as we needed to lay on them, they said we could only have 1 more. 2) Every place - be it a hotel, restaurant, anything in Thailand had the most welcoming, gentle and nice people we’ve encountered. This hotel was the opposite. Very dry, unwelcoming front desk staff, barely said anything during check in or check out. Didn’t seem to care if we had a comfortable stay or made any effort to ensure that. 3) Breakfast offered was extremely lackluster, could have had a better breakfast at 7/11. There were eggs (which were extremely cold), some chicken sausage (also very cold), and some rice. A few pieces of normal white toast. So disappointing, left hungry. 4) The elevators and rooms all had a musty, mildew like smell. 5) The showers were extremely slippery, no door on the shower. 6) The bidet found in the washroom was leaking, entire bathroom flooded. 7) A/C unit couldn’t be controlled - only had 1 setting (on/off), so the room was either freezing or extremely hot. Only give you 1 key that is used to keep electricity on.

Convenient to Don Muang airport. Very hard mattress on bed. Lovely swimming pools. Average breakfast, get in early as late comers have little to choose from. Great free shuttle to airport

Greeter was abrupt and unwelcoming room was horrible bathroom was the worse so dirty cobwebs filled with mosquitoes looked as if it had not been cleaned. Beds were like sleeping on the floor. So disappointing in my deluxe pool view room.
