Was erg goed.

Quirky delightful place breakfast was very good
Single bed was to hard , towels very hard , pillows to thin
We found the hosts as lovely as the location. What an absolutely gorgeous place for a stop over. Went to the local pub for diner (Cripple Creek) which was only a few minutes away and still had time for a stroll up the country roads before getting dark. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing at all.
The room was extra spacious, comfortable and had a wonderful bijou feel with the artists works The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and nothing was a bother I stayed as part of a solo cycling tour and felt totally looked after, even given some delicious home made banana loaf cake for sustenance on my journey Overall, I liked it so much have planned to return for another stay either my wife as I know she will love it too
I can’t fault it
Our host was very helpful and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice- warm croissants and cereals, toast etc

Cleanliness
Christine and Alex were so friendly and welcoming. The venue is beautifully filled with their artwork, creating a unique and creative atmosphere. Our twin room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view of a huge apple tree. The continental breakfast served in their handmade pottery was a special touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!
Mevrouw had elke tas, bord, potje, zelf gemaakt 🤩👍
Lovely room , freedom to enjoy the outdoor space. Really interesting house to stay in. Christine was so friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Excellent breakfast, great rooms in wonderful surroundings. Christine was a great host.
A stunning location and lovely hosts who were very helpful and accommodating. The room was large, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities that you would require. Sadly, as i was there for work and had a very early start, I couldn't enjoy the facilities or breakfast. The bed was large and very comfortable, the decor of the room was awesome too.
The bed was very comfortable and the location was exceptionally quiet. We appreciated the fact that the duvet had been removed for a cooler night's sleep. Breakfast was continental and plentiful.
We had poor first impressions - despite agreeing an arrival time, there was no-one to greet us and we had to hunt through outbuildings to find them. The outside space was clearly a working environment, but felt really scruffy and untidy and unfortunately this negative impression coloured our overall view of the property. The bathroom had an unfortunate step up into it, which caused a few trips - luckily we had a torch with us. The bathroom bin had the previous occupants' remains. One bath towel had a shredded hem, and the shower temperature was unpredictable. just a bit of TLC and eye for detail would have made such a difference to our stay.
Location
Amazing place - a sea of tranquility and wonderful art and nature. Brilliant breakfast, beautifully presented.
Nothing!
The breakfast was exceptional - lots of juicy fruits, fresh coffee and croissant. The bedroom was cool and comfortable on a very hot day. The host was really friendly and helpful and it was the perfect place to view the eclipse.
Friendly welcome, very quiet location, beautiful paintings throughout the house, quirky art style furnishings in the rooms, home-made continental breakfast

We have stayed at this property a number of times and we have always had a nice stay. Continental breakfast and nothing is too much trouble for Christine, the owner.
Everything was fine
Lovely, quirky place with very nice hosts and good breakfast
Beautiful setting and convenient location for walking in the Black Mountains. Checkout time of 11 allowed for a pleasant hour’s reading in the garden before departure. Coffee machine in the bedroom. Lovely continental breakfast. Very welcoming host. Would thoroughly recommend.
Nothing really.
Friendly welcoming hosts. Beautiful building and grounds. Nice room and breakfast. Convenient to nearby Usk etc
Freundliche, hilfsbereite und großzügige Gastgeber.
Set in beautiful countryside the old farmhouse has a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, that you are encouraged to enjoy. The owners were both very talented and creative artists and the results of their painting and pottery creations are everywhere to be seen and enjoyed. They were welcoming and hospitable and willing to give their time to make the guest feel at home. The farmhouse kitchen provided delicious continental breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit, juices, yoghurts, breads and d preserves on offer, with boiled eggs and teas and coffee on offer. The coffee was delicious and I have never ever had all my breakfast served on homemade quirky crockery, a wonderful touch of theatre!
My shower was difficult to operate and in need of updating. One less painting and one more accessible mirror would have suited me when trying use a hairdryer in the bedroom. Finding an evening meal without driving impossible.
Interesting place. Very friendly hosts and welcoming cat.
Problem w shower.
The house and location was wonderful. The hoist was very welcoming the garden was lovely 😍

The breakfast was very enjoyable, The location was perfect for us, very relaxing gardens, Close for visiting family,
What an incredible location. The hosts are artists (a sculptor and a painter) and theyre both GREAT(warm and friendly in addition to be ridiculously talented). The home is in a little compound with a bunch of different types of art studios (pottery etc) which they encouraged us to explore around and we had a fabulous time. The breakfast was great and the room was comfortable. What an experience!
Very helpful and friendly hosts, and Alli loved the bath towels. Evening meal options were a five minute drive away, and we're healthy and affordable. The room was reasonably priced, which is always a plus!!
Not Christine and Alex's fault, but the room was pretty hot by the end of the day, due to extreme weather.
Christie was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was to die for. Lots of choice and very fresh and beautifully presented
We liked the quikiness, artistic environment, garden, cafe, personal touch, pottery, healthy breakfast
Nothing to complain about
Very friendly atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and lots of art and sculptures to look at. Great breakfast too.
Prachtig huis en tuinen Vriendelijke beheerders
The location, calm and quite. Surounded by lovely art and countryside. I loved the breakfast Beautiful hosts
T was all fine.
Loved the quirkiness of the BnB and proximity to Abergavenny.

An oasis of peace, art works, colour, character and nature. Above all the welcome, friendship and knowledge offered by Christine and Alex were second to none!
Nothing!
We absolutely loved the 'feel' of the house and garden. A great creative hum and the antidote to sterile, plastic hotels! Wonderful welcoming host who laid out good healthy breakfast. The garden was wonderful.
Superb accomodation. Peaceful location in a delightully creative space was truly magical

Rust en omgeving. Grote kamer mooi uitzicht op tuin. Ontbijt uitstekend!
Door grote kamer wat minder sfeer.
Lovely quiet peaceful place. Good continental breakfast.
Great room, quirky decor, full of character. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Lovely continental breakfast.
Everything was great!
Where to start? We stayed just 2 weeks ago on our way up through Wales.. loved it so much, booked for our return journey! Beautiful location, gorgeous art/sculptures throughout the house and garden. Christine so welcoming, showed us around her studios and even gave me some useful tips on starting out working with clay. If you love art, you will love it here! After a gorgeous breakfast, we sat in the garden listening to the birds singing… can only describe as a little piece of heaven… did not want to leave….we will be back… Thank you Christine & Alex!
Nothing!
Nice room. Good bed linen. Lovely old furniture. Coffee Maker.
Attitude of the male host, he was confrontational and aggressive. We almost involved the police. No cooked breakfast option. Impossible to use the shower, water scalding hot perhaps a broken thermostat. A lot of stairs to the room.

A wonderful stay - very comfortable, beautiful location, and a fantastic breakfast!
Very interesting artworks throughout the house. All breakfast crockery made by the hostess
Very hard beds
If I could, I would give this B&B a score of 11! It's truly one of a kind. The house is a living, breathing, ever changing, piece of art. The owners have touched every nook and cranny with their talent and magic. The house is them. You will see their pieces of art hanging everywhere completed by gorgeous pieces of furniture that shouldn't really work together but somehow do. All their crockery is handmade pottery! And this is all before you even step foot into the stunning garden. With a pond! And more art! What a remarkable and peaceful oasis. If you're lucky enough to ever stay here, I promise you, you will never forget it.
Gardens and Christine
quirky interior, comfy bed, beautiful surroundings gardens and quiet rural location. Breakfast was great with fresh croissants, fruit and home made granola
Beautifully appointed with original artwork throughout.

It was a lovely period property - clearly had an interesting history and a perfect setting for the huge selection of artwork found throughout the house and garden created by the talented owners.
I liked everything, I was a pleasure to stay there!!
The location, friendliness, breakfast, the granola was the best that I have ever had, I was allowed to buy some to take home!!
Lovely hosts and breakfast.
The interesting art work everywhere and spacious house and garden

Beautiful place set in peaceful surroundings. Really interesting and relaxing place
Very nice.Varied and tasty continental breakfast
Breakfast was delicious. Wonderful fresh fruit, croissants and jams. Interesting range of sculpture, ceramics and art. An old farmhouse from the 16th century. A really nice quiet rural setting. Host Christine made our stay enjoyable.
We loved our stay at Christine and Alex’s unique property, filled with beautiful artwork, sculptures, and plants. We stayed in the Mulberry Room, which overlooked a lovely garden and made for a truly quiet and peaceful stay. The location was perfect for our visit, and breakfast was delicious, served with fresh fruit and great coffee. And of course, not forgetting Coco — a super‑friendly cat and the true master of the household! We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet location, ideal for what I needed at a reasonable price
We really enjoyed our stay. Christine was a great host who was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We loved the chance to look around her sculpture studio and seeing all of her and Alex's wonderful artworks around the house and gardens. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great too!
Lovely big room in an interesting house, great breakfast. We were well looked after.
It was a beautiful find on Booking.com whilst it was only for 1 night, we loved it!
Bed was a little hard, but that's just me.
What a lovely surprise! The Art House B&B is a little treasure. I had the option of staying at staying at a national hotel chain and I'm so happy that I choose Art House B&B. It's quirky, but I like quirky. And Christine is a great host. I'd definitely book again and spend some time enjoying the local area. It was a lovely and homely stay.
Nothing! It was really just a lovely experience.
I loved the art work everywhere and the studios across the yard to view.

It was peaceful and felt like home.
A quirky house filled with plants and art in a beautiful location. We'll definitely stay again. So peaceful and restful.
Beautiful art, peaceful location, fantastic breakfast with lots of fresh local fruit. Good local pub The Cripple Creek Inn in walking distance
Querky and spacious. Lovely area and plenty of artwork to look at.
All round great experience - and to see Alex a Christine’s work was a bonus. And to talk art was a pleasure !
The fact that Booking.com double booked our room on the Friday night despite confirming all dates abd details . No response to requests for an explanation _- had to pay £150 for a room 15 miles away!
The garden and lots of interesting artwork
Friendly welcome, homely atmosphere with lovely art work everywhere, comfortable room, nice continental breakfast with yummy warm croissants
