A hotel that makes you feel home. Bed AMAZING !! Staff of a high end guest house rather than hotel. Will be back !!
You have to bother staff to come in.
Es maravilloso, me gusto todo
El precio,
Muito charmoso, funcionários super educados. Adorei
great
all very good
Staff were wonderful, helpful, personable, cheerful. Room was lovely. It's full of character which comes with a few small modernisation restrictions but far outweighed by the wonderful character.
I don't think I quite appreciated the location not being quite so close to the beach.
Varmasti Estorilin paras hotelli.
Beautiful property. Amazing staff.
Check the ratio value for money.
Breakfast was amazing in a lovely location, and the pastéis de nata were absolutely delicious. The staff were always attentive and took great care of us, providing truly excellent service.
Stunning place with unbelievable history and design, everyone very professional and helpful. Rooms very nicely designed and equipped. Bed was perfect - possibly the best mattress and pillows I have slept on.
nothing particular
Tudo fabuloso

Charming historic villa with close access to restaurants in Cascais and local station to visit Lisbon.

Simply amazing. Easy walk to town. Staff was exceptional. Feels like you are staying with friends at their beautiful home. Small boutique property makes you feel like a true guest.
We had a lovely stay here only for one night. We were warmly greeted by the men on reception. We had a fantastic evening meal and breakfast was also wonderful. Staff were very attentive.
Absolutely everything. From the moment we arrived at 8:00 am and were immediately led to the veranda and serving us tea and coffee. Solame only got more gracious and made us feel very welcomed.
Not one thing!
What a beautiful place! We had a corner room with a side view of the ocean. It was a big room, high ceilings and spacious. The bathroom, especially the shower, was to die for. Breakfast is amazing, buffet or via menu. Staff were attentive and friendly. The owner of the house came by to introduce herself, a lovely woman. The pool was excellent with all the facilities needed. Because the room was right above the reception area, we heard a lot of conversations, nothing understandable, but you heard noises, it didn't bother me as this is an old building that comes with the characteristics of one. Private parking made it even better. It wasn't busy, so we were able to park the car on their lot.
Gorgeous estate setting and home minutes from all Cascais has to offer. If you like to relax and be pampered, consider this as your home base to cover Sintra and Lisbon. The staff is top notch and the owner is on property making sure everything is perfect- and it is.

My daughter and I walked 200K of El Camino in Spain, and wanted a great place to relax with our husbands afterward. What a find! This hotel is perfect. It's not crowded and loud. You want to spend time in the lobby (playing backgammon), on the patio, by the pool.... From being greeted by the fabulous Jorge to the rest of the staff--David, Paolo, Luciano to name a few.....but all were so attentive and pleasant. We had a junior suite with spectacular ocean views. It was immaculate, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Everything you need is either there or provided when asked for. The breakfast is wonderful, as is all the food. We usually ate in the bar-great menu. It is a 15 minute walk to Cascais which is a charming city with a gorgeous marina (boat tours, jet skis, etc.) or the other direction to Estoril. Book it. You will be so glad you did.
Excellent hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff. Superb views to the sea. Easy walking distance to both Estoril and Cascais. Easy access to Lisbon via local train. Would highly recommend.
Amazing location, friendly staff and beautiful building
The hotel is in a fabulous Portuguese heritage building with original painted tiles, carved marble detailings and ornate wood panelling. The heritage aspects of the buildings have been impeccably maintained and restored. This is simply the most beautiful hotel I have stayed at.
A beautiful hotel; amazing staff that make us feel at home.
The Estoril Vintage Hotel is absolutely top notch in every sense. From the moment you arrive in the grand two-story entry, you are greeted with warmth and charm that sets the tone for your stay. The interiors are breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully curated. From the hand-painted ceilings and intricate millwork to the marble door casings and stately furnishings, the entire property is a celebration of timeless design. Portugal’s rich heritage in tile is honored throughout the hotel, adding an authentic sense of place. The baroque style architecture, built in 1917 as a summer home, now welcomes guests with all the comforts of twenty-first century technology seamlessly blended into its elegant surroundings. The guest rooms are light-filled sanctuaries, perfectly layered with classic patterns and soothing palettes, while the public spaces, from the refined living room to the dramatic stair hall, invite you to linger. The pool and garden are equally enchanting, with sculptures and stonework that make you feel as if you have stepped into a European estate. The incredible millwork, richly detailed ceilings, and curated art collection provide endless inspiration, especially for those with an eye for design. For interior designers, this hotel is a dream destination. I highly recommend this former summer residence turned boutique hotel when visiting Cascais. It combines history, beauty, and comfort in a way that makes you feel perfectly at home, yet endlessly inspired.
Hotel Vintage Estoril exceeded all our expectations. The building itself is a historic palace that preserves its elegance while offering all the modern comforts you could ask for. The location is perfect, surrounded by well-kept gardens and boasting truly impressive sea views. The swimming pool is definitely one of the highlights. The hotel staff were always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. It’s the ideal place to disconnect, enjoy peace and quiet, and feel part of a truly unique setting. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back on our next visit to Portugal.
Tudo.
An incredible hotel. The architecture and history is impeccable, the service is outstanding and the location is 10/10. We will most certainly be back again next time we’re in town.
Excellent experience. This was our first trip to Portugal (7 nights) and wanted to stay somewhere close to Lisbon but also close to the ocean. We booked Estoril Vintage for these reasons but were a little concerned that the property (being vintage!) might be a little tatty. This could not have been further from the truth. Everything was beautifully presented and very polished. The service was very attentive - couldn't have been better. We were in a small double room which was beautiful but the bathroom was very small. We considered changing for this reason but in the end decided to stay where we were. The pool was great - spent many hours there. The main road is just below the hotel (between hotel and ocean) but it did not bother us at all - even at the pool and at breakfast where the impact could have been noticeable it was not an issue. Cascais is an easy 15 minute walk along the ocean and Lisbon 35mins by very cheap Uber. Lots of Restaurants in Cascais which was important as the hotel restaurant (we ate there once) was very good but very quiet. Better to explore. All in all would recommend very highly.
What an amazing stay at this special hotel. After four nights here, it really felt like home. It is so stunning and peaceful and perfectly situated remote enough but also close enough for a 15-20 min walk to Cascais town. Stunning interiors, especially for art and history lovers. The staff are really incredible and really made the experience so special, so thank you to them. Breakfast each day was amazing and fresh, as well as dinner & drinks. Overall, highly recommend this stay as a great coastal escape outside of Lisbon. Hope to be back. Xx
I cannot recommend Estoril Vintage Hotel high enough. It is an absolute hidden gem in Estoril, on the outskirts of Lisbon. From arrival to departure the staff made it their mission to ensure that we had the best time, including the owners coming to speak with us at dinner and again at breakfast. For example, breakfast starts at 08:00 and so we couldn’t enjoy this on our final day - the hotel offered to give us takeaway breakfast in a box instead or find a solution which was very kind. Speaking of breakfast, it is divine… with a selection of cooked and buffet style options and incredible views. Delicious coffee too. The pool area is fantastic with comfy loungers and the waiters will go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need. We chose to have dinner at the hotel which didn’t disappoint - a varied menu (albeit a bit expensive but inline with what I’d expect to pay) and delicious wines to pair with it. We opted to have a drink beforehand overlooking the ocean which was stunning! Every detail at the hotel has been meticulously designed and is incredibly beautiful. Our room was also lovely, with crisp white linen and molten brown amenities. I rarely write reviews but wanted to share that I would love to stay here again!
The greatest find in Portugal. This hotel was charming, historic and very much loved by the owners. Every attention to detail was exquisite and the architecture was stunning. The staff, was very attentive and we thoroughly appreciated the full breakfast each morning. The reception was warm and inviting and we would highly recommend a stay at Estoril Vintage Hotel.
a truly wonderful hotel.staff excellent, smart and attentive without exception.room spotless.pool a real oasis of calm and so clen.perfect temerature.superb breakfast well seved.not a single gripe.
This is a stunning property which is an oasis of relaxation in a busy area. The service is excellent and we loved our stay.
Luxury accommodation, excellent food and staff were superb in their attitude and friendliness
Amazing stay. Staff are excellent and uniquely beautiful hotel!
Spacious, very nice view. Good service and good food.
We stayed at several 5* hotels during our stay in Portugal and this one by far was the best. Every detail was perfect. Gorgeous inside and out and exceptional service. This place will not disappoint!
Wonderful
This is a building worthy of visiting in its own right just for the joy of looking around. It was a delight to stay in.
Delightful, courteous and helpful staff, nothing ever too much. Lovely small hotel right on the waterfront and a short step from Cascais Centre and local attractions
I think my towels were changed every day, which is not really needed.
Absolutely an amazing experience being at the hotel
This was an exceptional hotel. Beautifully decorated, cozy and boutique with only a few rooms making for a personalized experience. Everything was excellent and the owner was very kind.
This was the most perfect and noble hotel that I have ever been in my life. It seems something out of the movie.
Everything was perfect.
Excellent hotel with amazing service. Would love to return to spend more nights in the future.
This is the most beautiful hotel I have stayed at. The design and details are just amazing. The hotel is located on a quiet street, overlooking the ocean. I had a small double but the room was a very good size. The breakfast was delicious and cocktails in the bar amazing. The staff is very friendly and made me feel like I am at home. I will come back to this hotel as I had an incredible stay!
We can’t wait to go back
It was a once in a lifetime experience
Beautifully restored mansion overlooking the 0cean. Exceptionally polite and attentive staff. First class in every way. Highly recommended
Everything was excellent
Nothing
Dreamy property with top notch staff who are kind and engaging. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are superb. Right on the water with spectacular views from the guest rooms, the glass dining room and verandas. Only issue we encountered was another guest (friend of the owners) backed into our valet parked rental car. While he said he would cover the damages we haven't heard back from multiple requests after six days. Rental car company is already charging our credit card for damages.
A beautiful large family home, turned into a boutique hotel. Feels like home
It’s like living a dream. Elegance personified. Every detail is immaculate. Staff members are delightful, engaging and helpful. The property is breathtaking. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. Dinner is spectacular.
Everything was beautiful, luxurious and wonderful! Everyone that works there is a so helpful and kind! They really impressed us with their professionalism. The hotel itself is also stunning and special!
Amazing cosy hotel in estoril! We went there because we had heard about it and the full experience was top (from welcoming to checkout) We had selected the romantic option and have been upgraded to an amazing sea view suite. The breakfast is specifically tasty (specially the croissants)
The hotel is beautiful. The staff are incredible. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are wonderful
Was a little disappointed in the food

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Estoril Vintage hotel. My husband and I stayed here before our wedding. Not only is it a beautiful, quiet and elegant hotel, they treated us like family. I fell ill suddenly and had to go to the hospital and George personally organized my transportation, supplied me a wheelchair and blanket. It was above and beyond. I was so taken care of in a time when I was away from home and under a lot of stress. The Estoril Vintage isn't just a hotel it is a family of people supporting you away from home. Would love to return <3
I have no complaints. super service, food. unreal hospitable and warm owner.
The breakfast was an amazing choice of fruits , juices and local food complimented with a cook to order choice The views from the dining room are amazing and we spent many happy hours sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea enjoying the morning Sun, amd indeed beneath the evening moon over excellent food & service

After spending a week walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, my husband and I sought out a beautiful boutique hotel for some R & R in Portugal. Estoril Vintage Hotel was the perfect choice. The mansion is spectacular with no detail overlooked. The decor was amazing and museum quality. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was perfectly appointed with a very comfortable bed, in-room coffee, nighttime turndown service, and even chocolates waiting on the pillows each evening. The staff was attentive and met every need without question - starting with Jorge when we checked in, the concierge team, and all the way through the wait staff and maid service. The views are spectacular. We had to pinch ourselves each day to make sure this was real. How nice it was for Maria, the owner, to stop by and greet each of the guests individually while we had breakfast on the terrace each day - a lovely, personal touch. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those looking for a unique and pampering experience in the Estoril/Cascais area. We walked to Cascais almost every day of our 6-day stay; only a short 10-15 minute walk. The beach is right there and many shops, restaurants, and places nearby to grab a souvenir, a sangria or Vinho Verde. This was a good location to catch a train into Lisbon (5 minute walk to the Monte Estoril train station) and we also spent a day in Sintra. The hotel is far enough away from the noisy downtown for tranquility, but close enough to the action when you want it. This place was amazing.
Beautiful historic restored building with very professional but friendly staff and excellent facilities
Nothing. Some people may not like road noise audible from pool
As a female solo traveller I felt absolutely safe and cared for. No ask was too much and I had no safety concerns which is a really nice way to feel while travelling. I also worked whilst here and I could get wifi everywhere (even by the pool!) The staff were phenomenal The building is truly beautiful You are treated like royalty as soon as you walk in. Easy walk into the town and right opposite a few beach bars.
